The Blessed Four!, (Semi OT/AU/Xover) Chapter 9 now up!

Chapter 1, Hikari Sakura

“Natsuki wake up!” a fifteen year old girl with shoulder length brown hair shouted at her twin that was only one minute or so older than her.

“It is six o’clock we won’t be late.”

“You take for ever to get ready so by the time the two of us are ready it we will get to school right on time.”

“Yeah whatever.” Natsuki said as she walked into the bathroom.

Sakura flopped on her bed, she had always felt that she wasn’t normal. Well ever since she was fourteen. On her and Natsuki’s fourteenth birthday she realized that she had a red mark, the kanji for Suzaku, on the top of her right breast. “Why do I have to have this curse? Whenever someone tries to get near me they seem to get burned. I guess it comes in handy with all they guys that stalk me but I don’t dare try to have a boyfriend.” Sakura mumbled as she looked in her handheld mirror at the red kanji on the top of her breast.

When Natsuki stepped out of the bathroom with her towel on Sakura jumped up grabbed her clothes and raced in. Luckily her sister barely used the hot water ever, probably the reason she took so long. Natsuki probably used the hot water once a week.

“Why do I have the mark but not my twin. It doesn’t make sense and those stupid kids at school, they think that I don’t like guys just because I’ve sworn them off ever since I realized that guys that physically get close to me now get their hands burned?” Sakura asked over and over again as she took her shower.

“And that dream I keep having, who, or what was that guy in blue, and that black creature he was fighting why do I wake up as soon as the flames engulf them?” Sakura said as she recalled the dream she had ever since she turned 14. “Mom and Dad said it was just a dream, it meant nothing. I told my best friend and like everyone else she instantly thought it meant I don’t like guys anymore and that it represented my hate for them. She also said that it must be telling me that I wish for guys to die because I am not attracted to them.” Sakura sighed as she washed her hair. “I don’t like girls that way, I can’t tell my friends the truth though I mean they’d probably call me a freak and stop hanging out with me. I mean half of them already stopped being my friend when I decided to ignore guys.”

“Mom, what’s for breakfast?” Natsuki asked as she stepped into the dining room. She had her typical tomboyish outfit on. She remained like she had been since both her and Sakura were little, they were tomboys until around their fourteenth birthday, Sakura changed she suddenly started to wear dresses and skirts to more than just parties.

“Today is going to be traditional do you have a problem with that Natsuki?”

“No mom not at all, I guess I can down the fish, though I’d rather have some pastries and stuff.”

“I know but you’ve have pastries for the past month, having a traditional Japanese breakfast once in a blue moon wont hurt anyone.”

“Mom, let me guess traditional, Fish and rice with soy sauce?” Sakura asked as she walked into the kitchen with her and Natsuki’s school bags in her hands. She sat them down then sat at the table.

“Yes, you are correct.” Their mom said as she placed to plates of fish and rice in front of them then sat a bottle of Soy sauce on the table.

“Stupid people!” Sakura said as she stepped off of the school grounds. “Maybe I’ll go visit dad then head home.” Sakura said as she started off towards her dad’s lab.

“If it isn’t the beautiful Sakura!” A guy said as she was quickly surrounded by older guys. They all had sick looks on their faces as they advanced towards her. As they reached for her she screamed and as soon as they pulled the top of her shirt open a blast of red shot out and surrounded Sakura. The guys ran for it as fast as they could when they noticed the fire surrounding her. They didn’t get too far before collapsing to the ground as a pure black figure stepped on their shadows and squeezed the their shadows thoughts causing them to pass out.

“Suzaku!” The figure shouted as he launched forward with his arm shaped like a spear. His target was definitely Sakura, no doubt about that by why, why was this figure trying to kill her?

“Shadow Spike!” the figure shouted as his arm pierced the fire that surrounded her and stopped directly on her right breast. “Surrender now or die a painful death!” the figure said as he pressed the spike into her.

“NO, I can’t I won’t EVER I’ll NEVER SURRENDER!” Sakura said as the spike pressed into he breast the flames intensified and shot out at the figure making him stumble backwards.

“Lady of Suzaku, lend me your strength!” a guy said as he landed between Sakura and the figure.

“Who… who are you?”

“I am here to assist you.” the guy said as he reached out and grabbed the flames that surrounded Sakura. “Flaming Shuriken!” He shouted as he pulled his hand out of the flaming wall, he was now holding a shuriken made of flames that he through towards the figure only for it to dodge the attack and the guy instantly called back the shuriken.

“Who do you think you are? I was sent to destroy this girl, and anyone who stands in my way will fall as well! Spike STORM!” The black figure screamed as he sent tons of spikes straight at Sakura and the mysterious guy.

“I am the aid to the Lady of Suzaku! And no shadow may harm her as long as I m here, Shuriken SHIELD!” he shouted as he started to spin the Shuriken at amazing speed causing it to form a flaming shield that curved back to protect the user and Sakura. The spikes slammed into the shield of fire and were destroyed quickly.

“I have to keep the speed up, otherwise I won’t be able to defeat this shadow. I must summon Suzaku’s essence, otherwise she will never learn how to summon her power and fight on her own if we loose the world will be doomed.” the guy said as he kept spinning the shield, as soon as he figured the speed and he was just right he shouted at Sakura to hit the ground and then he leaped into the air as soon as he sucked all the fire into his hand. When he was at the height of his jump he tossed the flaming ball from his hand at the shadow, “Suzaku no Maiagare!” the ball sped towards the shadow and instantly turned into a majestic firebird that flew through the shadow several time slicing him to pieces with its flaming wings.

“What happened?” Sakura asked as she woke up the next morning to find a note next to her bed. The note read:
Lady of Suzaku, as long as you remember what happened yesterday you should be able to summon what is needed in order to save the world from the Shadow. They are an evil race of aliens that can take many different forms. Suzaku blessed you. That means that you are one of the only few who can defeat the shadows. I am capable, like the other aids to utilize the sacred power with in the blessed ones to aid them in unlocking the power that is sealed within. You need to try and master the flames of Suzaku and utilize them on your own, manipulate their shape and summon them at will in order to save the world.

“What, so it wasn’t a dream that means. I was saved by a stranger, but he was almost killed also.” Sakura mumbled as she looked at a nearby candle and focused on it. The wick burst into flames as she lit it with her mind. She then began to lift the flame off the wick and have it float around the room. She tried to make it change shape but couldn’t. How could someone who could only manipulate the sacred flames that she possessed form a Shuriken, it made no sense. He had more control than her, or maybe it had something to do with a sense of duty, he knew he must protect her so his adrenaline allowed him to tap into more power than he normally could? That had to be it.

“Sakura are you still asleep? It is time for school your are going to be late if you don’t hurry up and get ready.” Natsuki said as she peeked into the room. Sakura had just extinguished the flame the second she herd Natsuki walking towards the room. She was now staring at the note, she stuffed it in her dresser than quickly got dressed and left for school.

Atop a nearby tree sat the guy who had saved her.” She seems to have some control, my sense of duty to the planet must of made her realize that she can harness the flame that kept her away from guys in order to save the world. I hope it wasn’t too late to start training her in the art of fire manipulation. I know that I should of started sooner when I first learned of my responsibility but I didn’t really believe that there were aliens on their way to destroy the planet. How else could I have convinced her but to wait till they landed for her to encounter one to make my move.” He said before he leaped away from the scene with a smile on his face. “Keep safe and calm, Hikari Sakura!”

“Huh? Did someone just shout my name?” Sakura asked as she turned to see a figure who was going from tree to tree in the opposite direction. “Was that him?”

Next time

What do the shadow want with a short girl, who cant stand being near guys and who has no close family? This girl has no chance against the shadow, she doesn't even seem to have knowledge of a mark, and why are they calling her The fierce tiger?

Awesome, kram!! I can see potential in this fic already!! This kinda reminded me of Sailor Moon :/ but it was still wonderful!! I hope you write more!!!

I know I chose an odd place to place Sakura's symbol but there are three other characters with symbols as the title implied. Each of which have a different location. So one of them might wind up on the middle of the upper chest.

The idea for this fic came from my original idea of a rockman Dual parody that I quickly figured would be too difficult to pull of because it has been a couple years since I saw DUAL. Plus back in the sixth grade I had the idea for a religious type action adventure type fic. that I never got around to actually doing. But one version of it that floated through my head had the SHADOWS as villians, pretty much demons that could kill by attacking peoples shadows.

Then I had an idea for the shadows being aliens and then a set of kids were chosen by the government to defeat them because they were the onlyones capable of harming the shadow. And of course there were different classifications of the shadow and the giant ones could only be defeated by GEAR type mechs from Xeno Gear. But i never actually got around to typing that up either well becuase I couldn't settle on names and stuff like that.

But recently the original idea of the shadows popped back into my head around the same time as I was planning a DUAL parody that I had got the idea for after looking at one of MagicmanDX's drawings, the female Netto to be precise. When I got my Fushigi Yuugi japanese Manga I decided to do something that had something to do with Fushigi Yuugi. BUt yeah several things floating in my head over the past few years evolved into this idea. The first four chapters will introduce the main Female Characters, and such then the 5th and on will delve into the plot and actuall story.

Chapter 2, Ikari Shizuru

“Shizuru, do you know the answer?”

“No, ma’am.” A girl around fifteen years old said as she stood up. She had just recently moved to Tokyo, her father worked somewhere in the city, all she knew was that he worked for the government. Now she is staying with some lady that works with her father, a drunk to top it off, she had a Penguin that took showers. It was creepy in her opinion, after all you don’t see too many pet penguins living with drunks.

“Then try not to fall asleep in class if you can’t answer the questions!” The teacher barked.

“I don’t even know why I bothered moving here, maybe I should go back home. After all I haven’t seen my dad but once the entire time I’ve been here, and then instead of me getting my own place a drunk takes me in so I can save money.” Shizuru muttered as she stared at the teacher who was in the middle of a lecture.

“Misato, I’m home!”

“Shizuru, I have to go. Your dad called and I have to go. You can watch your self right?”

“Of course I can!”

“Don’t make a mess.” Misato said as she left.

Shizuru walked over to the table and sat down. “Why am I sleeping so much it doesn’t seem like me. Those figures though. The ones I keep seeing the past week, they seem to be following me, stalking me. But no one else seems to notice them. I must not be getting enough sleep since I moved here, yeah that is the only thing I can think of that would explain that.” Shizuru said as she stretched then got up and walked to her room. “Maybe some fresh air, and short walk will do me some good.” Shizuru muttered as she changed into a different outfit, before she headed outside.

“Misato, what took you so long?”

“I wanted to let Shizuru know that I had to come in today.”

“Next time don’t waste time, leave a note!”

“Now back on topic, we have been noticing weird activity in nearby towns.”

“Weird how?”

“Non human energy readings. Plus intense areas of sudden heat.”

“So you think that there are now aliens in Japan?”

“Yes, that is probably the only reasonable explanation. So we need to find out how to defeat them.”

“Ok, so why did you call me here? Can’t the research team handle it?”

“We called you in to oversee the operation that is why.”

“So you are the Fierce tigress? You don’t look so fierce to me!” A wolf said as it approached Shizuru.

“You…. you’re a Wolf, animals can’t talk, and ….” Shizuru stuttered as she stared at the talking wolf before her.

“I am no mere wolf, for this is just the form I was given in order to take out the fierce tigress! Prepare to die, Shadow Slash!” the wolf shouted as he dashed towards Shizuru and attempted to slash her stomach.

“Sir our surveillance systems have just revealed your daughter is under attack.” some one said

“Misato where are you going?”

“I need to contact Shizuru.”

“Why would you need to do something like that?”

“Because it is my job to make sure she isn’t killed by a shadow!” Misato shouted as she ran towards the elevators to the surface.

“Hold on Shizuru, I’m on my way!” Misato said as she dashed down the street towards Shizuru and the wolf shadow.

“GET AWAY FROM ME!” Shizuru shouted as she continued to run from the oncoming attacks of the wolf, she was running out of energy rather quickly and the wolf kept getting closer and closer to clawing or biting her throat.

“NEVER, you will fall, after all you are all alone!”

“NO!” Shizuru shouted as she skidded to a stop and turned to face the wolf. The look in her face was no longer that of a scared little girl, but that of a savage beast. A bright white light was emanating from the center of her upper chest. “Take this you freak!” She shouted as she jumped towards the shadow, her hands now covered in metal gloves, and her teeth had quickly became fangs. As she chased the wolf that had been chasing her she lunged onto its back and bit its neck. She then proceeded to toss it into a near by building.

“Shadow Blitzkrieg!” the wolf muttered as it split into multiple wolfs and shot straight at her. When he leaped out of the ground and had her surrounded from all sides. She leaped up and gave all the wolves a spinning kick then followed it up as she began to slash at all their throats.

“Shizuru? She has gone crazy, I have a feeling that if I tried to aid her now I’d wind up getting killed, I’ll have to help from a distance. I just need to get a piece of earth that contains the sacred energy though.” Misato said as she peered around the corner.

“DIE YOU FREAKY WOLVES!” Shizuru screamed as she continued to claw at the wolves that were running about, missing limbs. She dug into the ground and rushed towards the wolfs ripping them in half and sending chunks of the ground flying.

Misato jumped up and grabbed a piece of earth that flew near her. “Sacred energy that flows through this rock, assist the Lady of Byakko in gaining control of her power.” Misato said as she held the rock tight in both hands. The kanji for Byakko appeared on it as soon as she was done talking and she tossed the rock as hard as she could so it would land near Shizuru.

When the rock landed it exploded snapping Shizuru back to reality as soon as she had succeeded in slicing open the throat of the final wolf. “What happened, where did I get these claws?”

“You went berserker when confronted with your own death. I didn’t think that you’d be able to access that much of your power so soon. I am your aid, and it is my duty to protect you from harm, until you can harness your full potential.”

“What?”

“You are the Lady of Byakko, and it is your duty to assist the other three ladies in the destruction of the shadows.”

“Shadows?”

“They are the alien race that has come to take over the planet. Only the blessed four can defeat them. The aids however can utilized the power of our blessed one in order to protect them from harm when they are trying to reach their learn to control their power.”

“What, so I have to do this fighting?”

“Yes I am afraid if you don’t learn to control the power then, you will just be to blame for the Shadow taking over the planet.”

Next time, a group of Shadow's have targeted a house in the middle of nowhere to attack. But they have trouble getting to those who live there because of an odd force that surrounds the building. What is the cause of this force?

Wicked awesome! A tantalizing read so far, and I like the entrance of the lady of Byakko. A tune from Evangelion if I'm not mistaken (gotsta luv the Pen Pen!). I wonder who the next will be, Genbu or Seiryuu? This fic has potential, and I look forward to seeing what this baby can do!

thanks Mugen. Some other support characters from the 3 series involved in this fic might show up later on. Well 3 at least because I haven't revealed who Sakura's aid is yet becasue I am not 100 percent sure myself, and then there are 2 othe ladies and their aids.

Nice work, So genbu will be next? Since he's wood related and jurai means tree. (took me awhile to get that.)

Unknown, from what I read genbu is assosciated with water. But of course the digimon based of of Genbu happens to have a large tree on his back. So I am slightly confused on that part when it comes to their elements. I didn't know Jurai ment tree that is nice to know, well here is Chapter 3

Chapter 3, Masaki Tenshi

“So far only two of the Blessed Four have realized they have the power needed to hold us off. If we out number one of the others I have a feeling that she will fall before her power is awakened.” A cloaked figure said to his underlings.

“Master, are you sure that she won’t find her power before we finish her off?” one of the many that were kneeling before the person who was on the throne.

“Yes, five of you will go, that should be more than enough to finish of one girl.”

“Tenshi, did you remember to buy carrots?” a little blue haired girl asked as a 16 year old girl walked up to her. She had short black hair, and a long pony tail.

“Yes Sasami, I remembered the carrots for your disturbed cat.”

“Ryou-ohki is not a cat, she is a Cabbit!”

“What ever she isn’t a normal animal and she is messed up.”

“She is not messed up!”

“What ever Sasami, I am going to try to get some sleep!”

“Ok, I’ll get dinner started!”

“So this is where the Lady of Genbu lives, nice little place, too bad we have to crush it.” an ogre like shadow said as they approached the border of the Masaki shrine’s property.

“Yes, lets hurry up and get the job done with, we don’t need to waste time.” A human sized figure with bat wings said as he led the way towards the house only to go flying back through the air, when he walked into a high-power force field of some sort.

“What happened?” A short gator shadow asked when the bat went flying.

“Some sort of Force Field.”

“I thought the people of this planet don’t have that capability.” The ogre shouted.

“They must, after all how else could you explain me going flying back three feet.” The bat shouted.

“Lets just break it down!” The gator said as he started to slam his tail into the force field.

“Grandpa! Some odd creatures are trying to get through the Barrier!” A red head shouted as she popped her head through a wall, talking to an old man.

“Miss Washuu, what are you talking about?” A purple haired lady asked as she stormed into the room

“Ayeka!” the red haired scientist shouted.
“Ayeka did you notice those dark creatures at the edge of the property, they are weird looking. Oh hey Washuu, nice to see you.” A lady with long white hair said as she floated through the floor.

“Youshou what is going on.?” Ayeka asked angered.

“Miss Washuu said that some creatures are trying to break into the property.”

“They can’t though the shield is powered by the tree of Jurai.” Ayeka said.

“They might be able to, Miss Washuu has never seen these creatures before, we have no clue what they are or what they want.”

“I know, they want my Tenshi!” Ryouko said as she floated up to Tenshi’s room and gave her a quick kiss.

“Ryouko! What was that for?” Tenshi shouted as the tall white space pirate gave her a kiss.

“You need to use your abilities that are sealed in you to defeat the creatures who are trying to break in and destroy you.”

“What?”

“You are the Lady of Genbu, enough said! We need to destroy them!”

“Take this!” Ryouko shouted as she slapped the bat with her light staff.

“What the are you the Lady of Genbu?” The ogre questioned.

“No that would be me! Tsunami Blast!” Tenshi shouted as Washuu dropped the force field and a large tidal wave shot from the lake towards the 5 shadows, catching them off guard.

“Azaka, Kamidaki!” Ayeka shouted as she summoned her logs to aid in the fight, they launched attacks at the shadows from behind.

A blonde, and a dark green haired girl in space police uniforms fired at them with their blasters only for the shots to go through.

“Looks like only three of us can hurt them.” Ayeka said as Azaka and Kamidaki continued their attack.

“Ryou- Ohki!” Sasami shouted as a she ran out with a mix between a rabbit and cat, that leaped into the air and changed into a giant space ship. “Lock onto the enemy and fire!” Sasami shouted from inside the ship. The blast struck the smallest shadow, a monkey type shadow and completely vaporized it.

“Tenshi use grandpa’s sword!” Ayeka shouted.

“Why?"

“You are the Lady of Genbu so I think that combined with the powers of Jurai that flow through you, you might beable to finish them all off!” Ryouko said as she started to knock the shadows around a bit with her staff.

“Right, Sword of Jurai! Genbu Wave Slash!” Tenshi screamed as she sliced downward with the sword causing water to fly from the lake and slash all the remaining shadows with ease, however as soon as she defeated them she fell to the ground completely out of energy.

“How could other’s harm us, I was under the impression that the only ones on this little rock capable of hurting us were those who the gods blessed.” The dark figure said as he paced the floor of his throne room on his ship.

“Sir, I believe that the aid to the Lady of Genbu was a famous space pirate. Plus the purple haired lady is non other than crowned princess of the Planet Jurai, and the short blue haired girl was her younger sister. Plus form what it looked like the Lady of Genbu was utilizing not only the Tree of Jurai but the Sword of Jurai as well, though I have no clue how.”

“Well then we must remain defensive around the Lady of Genbu.”

“Indeed I know that we only have one chance left to dig our feet in before all of the Blessed Four will be on their guard.”

“Yes that is true, Kageinu, you and Kageneko will go to take out the Lady of Seiryuu do you under stand?”

“Yes Master!”

Next Time: Kageinu, and Kageneko go in search of the Lady of Seiryuu, but they find more than they bargained for.

Chapter 4 Ijuin Aoi

Well, This chapter didn't turn out as good as my last two in my opinion, probably because I used so many characters in it. But there is only one more person to be introduced and that is in the next chapter. Then the actual plot and such will continue, So I was just struggling with introductionary chapters I guess.

When I first read "Ryo-Ohki", I knew that I remembered it from somewhere. After that, Washuu was all it took to regain my memory. You got the characters in this chapter straight out of enchi Muyo!! :D I miss that show sooooooo much... T_T Great work on your chapter, but the sentences seem kinda rushed.

All I know is, genbu is the snake and tortise, the tree is from digimon. As is the jurai translation since the big tree digimon cherrymon is called juraimon over there. But of course since they're trees are spaceships it really made sense.

And sasami is blue haired not green.

Tenchi is quite different as a girl isn't he.

Raijin and fujin? You change their names or something?

“What, I can’t use the Sword of Jurai, I’m not a guy!”
Actually I think his mom used it in one of the movies.

Not bad. So where's aoi form?

Now that i think of it I'll have to change that part, I forgot his mom used it. And I couldn't remember the name of Ayeka's tree warriors, so If you could tell me I could fix it and yes Tenchi is quite different as a girl. And yeah Sasami's is blue I'll fix that also.

well I was going to use 4 different series but I couldn't think of a third series that would work. So I used 3, Rockman, Tenchi, and Neon Genesis. Aoi is also from Rockman but I am sure that now gave who it is away.

Chapter 4, Final Introduction! Ijuin Aoi

“Aoi, what are you doing tonight?” A tall blonde haired girl asked a white haired girl of her own age.

“Nothing why?” Aoi said as she grabbed her bag and headed towards the classroom door.

“Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me, and Li. Your brother can come also if he wants.” Shiruku said as she followed Aoi.

“I don’t think my brother is the movie type. You aren’t just asking because you are too shy to ask my brother out are you?”

“No why would you think that?”

“Because you know I like Li, and I know you like my brother!”

“Kinu, Ijuin, over here!” a male voice called out to the two girls as they turned they noticed a guy with long red hair, who was around the same height as the two girls.

“Sessou Rizumu!” Aoi shouted as she hugged the guy.

“Ijuin-chan, I told you my name is Li, not Rizumu!” He said as he blushed.

“Well my name is Aoi but you never just call me that now do you?”

“Sessou calm down it isn’t like she tried to choke you or anything like that.” Shiruku joked.

“Kinu-chan, I know that but still I hate my full name it is just a mouth full.”

“Like mine isn’t? I mean Kinu Shiruku, and so is Aoi-chan’s.”

“Shiruku, calm down, now you seem like some one is trying to kill you. I guess I’ll try to get my brother to go to the movies but if he says no then you and Rizumu-kun will have to go alone.”

“Tadaima!” Aoi shouted as she stepped inside her house and looked around, like usual her father wasn’t home, and her brother sat on the couch.

“Hey Aoi, usually you are already home by now.”

“Enzan, my friend Shiruku wants to know if you would go to the movies with us and another friend.”

“Why would I do something like that?”

“Why wouldn’t you it would do you some good to get out of the house once in a while.” Aoi said before heading up to her room.

“Fine, sis, but remember it is just this one time. And do you know what time the movie is?”

“7:00”

“OK.”

“Enzan-kun!” Shiruku said as she ran up and gave Enzan a hug.

“Oh yeah, Sis you could of told me that the friend who wanted me to come was the same one who won’t leave me alone. I swear I need to get a restraining order.”

“C’mon think of this as a double date! I mean me and Li, you and Kinu-chan.” Aoi said to her brother.

“Shiruku this movie doesn’t happen to be a romantic one by any chance?” Enzan asked.

“Of course it is you silly guy!” Shiruku said as she gave him a kiss before the went into the theater.

“So one of those girls is the Lady of Seiryuu, neither one seems to pure, are you sure those guys aren’t the ones we are supposed to find?” A dark said to his partner as they watched the four teenagers entered the theater.

“Well Kageinu I am pretty sure that the Lady of Seiryuu has to be female, I have a feeling that her aid is in that group as well.” The second dark figure said.

“Well then lets catch them of guards my feline friend.” Kageinu said as he looked at his partner.

“You need tickets to get into the theater!” a voice said halfway through the movie.

“Actually we don’t but I guess we can just kill you!” Kageinu said as he looked at his partner. “Kageneko you may have the honor of killing this pathetic human.”

“Should I slay his shadow or body?”

“Either, he wouldn’t be of too much use to us if we enslaved his shadow.” Kageinu said as his partner’s claws extended and slashed the theater workers throat.

“What was that?” Aoi asked when she heard the guy scream.

“I don’t know, Enzan lets go check.” Li said as he begun to stand up the doors flew open and the two shadows waltzed into the room. Kageneko still had blood dripping from his claws.

“Lady of Seiryuu, we have come to kill you!” Kageinu shouted trying to flush out the Lady of Seiryuu.

“If you don’t let us kill you willingly then we will kill every human in here just to make sure we kill the right lady.” Kageneko said with a slight laugh.

“Sorry that won’t be happening!” Li said as him and Enzan decided to try and take the two shadows out alone. Enzan pulled out his switchblade, and ran at the figures ready to stab them only to hear someone in the audience shout at him to stop.

“If you continue they will kill you.” A figure in the front row said causing Enzan to stop dead in his tracks. Li leaped over him grabbed the knife and stabbed Kageinu in the gut only to hear a laugh from the two shadow’s.

“Human weapons can’t hurt us, and to think we thought you were the aid of Seiryuu.” Kageneko said only to notice the look in Li’s eyes was not that of shock, but of success.

“Actually, I am but you see you misunderstood my plan. I used the metal blade as a trap.” Li said smiling as a small spark stunned Kageinu.
“What happened. I can’t move!”

“He stunned you. By using the metal as a conductor he was able to use the slightest amount of sacred lightning to enter and paralyze you. To think I actually thought the two of you were elite shadows!” The figure from the front row said as he started to walk towards them.

“But… He isn’t using his Lady’s lightning.”

“Stupid cat, he is, they are wearing transference bracelets, allowing them to share power at a distance. But you see that only tends to work for stuff that fares well in the air, such as electricity. It works for fire also but only over a much shorter distance than that would. He could strike you down if the three of you were on the other side of town and the Lady of Seiryuu was here.”

“Who are you?”

“I am waiting for a friend, and my name isn’t your concern right now! Flame darts!” the figure said pulling out a small orange sphere. “I think you might of seen this before, a tiny bit of left over flame, I am sure it will be useful.” the sphere started to glow and then it shot darts of fire straight at the two shadows.

“Lighting strike!” Li shouted when he pulled the knife out and then shot a blast of lightning from it at Kageneko.

“Aoi, that is your name right?”

“Yeah, how did you?”

“You are the Lady of Seiryuu, and I overheard you and your friends talking outside. I am surprised that your aid didn’t notice the shadows watching you, I certainly did.”

“What?”

“The shadow’s were watching you, if your aid had noticed them then that worker probably wouldn’t be dead right now.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“You are one of the four blessed ones, it is your job to use lightning to aid in the defeat of the shadow.”

“Huh?”

“Your aid hasn’t told you yet, he must not of noticed that the shadow have already attacked the other three. They all faired ok, well except for mine. She was a stinker, didn’t understand what was going on and I had to defeat the shadow with her power for her.”

“You expect me to….”

“Aoi, I need more power, or are you going to lend a hand?” Li shouted as he noticed that the aid of Suzaku was talking to the Lady of Seiryuu.

“Lightning Storm!” Aoi shouted as she aimed her palms at Kageneko and Kageinu, several bolts of lightning shot from her fingertips and her palms as she begun to rip the shadows apart.

“Atsuki, that is your name right, why are you just standing there? You told my Lady her identity, now maybe you should help because these are definitely Elite and I am having trouble holding them still with my stunning techniques.”

“Ok, I don’t have much I can do, but I think I can help.” Atsuki said as he held the orb which was now smaller than it was originally. “Blazing Phoenix that guards the south, please grant me some of your power. Inferno Prison!” he shouted as he launched a blast from the orb that surrounded the two elite shadow in bars made of fire. “NOW!”

“Aoi, give it your all!” Li shouted at the Lady of Seiryuu who then proceeded to close her eyes and use so much energy it resulted in not only wiping out those two shadows, and knocking her self out.

“Well now you know about your sister’s abilities. So what do you think Enzan?”

“Li, if Aoi has to help save the world then I guess I can’t stop her, I mean I don’t want those black freaks to wind up taking over the planet. But I have one question do you two know each other?”

“Who, me and Atsuki? No we never actually met, but I heard of him through my meditation, the gods speak of each of the aids by name, never revealing the names of the Ladies though because they don’t want to risk a shadow taping into the meditative communication stream. I mean that could be disastrous. Learning of were to find the Ladies, their names, the shadow could easily wipe out all four of the Ladies before they could do a damn thing.”

“But Aoi will have to go somewhere for a few weeks. I am sure that the shadow will take some time to recoup, and plan a powerful attack that would target all of the Blessed ones. If they don’t get enough training done before then well, it would be like saying take the earth we don’t give a damn about anyone on it.”

“I see so where are you going?”

“I can’t say, if any shadows are hiding then we risk them finding out were we would be. That wouldn’t be a good thing.”

Next time

Atsuki, Misato, Ryouko, and Li start to train the Blessed ones, they don't know how long they have, or how long they need but they know that time is one thing they cant waste. Each one has a different training method but all of whihc could cost their lives if the Blessed one fails.
