BATTLE CHIP DIFFERENCES

please help me somebody!!

All of my battle chips have the CP on the label instead of the name of the chip, for instance CYBERSWORD is labeled CP2 and all of my chips are like that. When I was looking for a blue PET, I noticed that some packages had the names of the chips instead of the CP.... Does anyone here know why? Please help me out, is it beacuse I live in Canada? Or is it because they were made in a different year? They all say 2004, and the back of the packs have phone numbers for MATTEL USA and Canada. There are 3 languages on all the packs; English, French, and Spanish, so they must have been distributed in USA as well. PLEASE HELP!

Oh yeah, also : How do I find people to VSBATTLE? Im 21 years old, and after work I go to Metrotown Mall (OVER 500 SHOPS) and I look for people to challenge (I HAVE ALOT OF CHIPS! Laughing

) but everyone with a PET is under 10, and their parents are afraid of my muscles or something... all my friends laugh at me, and they think I'm joking until I show them pictures of all my action figures. anyways I know there are older MegaMan fans, but how do I find them??????????

Finding Rockman fans is no easy gig. I only know three at my school. But to find someone, look on the Internet to try to find places that sell anime/manga related items. As for Chip differences, "CP" means Chip capacity. It shows how much you need to use it. For example, if you have 21 CP, then use Blue Moon Ray(8 CP), you'll have 13 CP left. It's completely random if a chip has it's name or the CP on it. But you're friends shouldn't laugh at you just because you still have figures of Rockman. I plan to keep anime/manga with me to my grave. But you should have three chips with the name on it; HeatShot, CyberSword, and Attack+10. They come with the PET!!

Usually the chips that come in the booster packs are labeled with CP and all the others are labeled with the chip name.

Oh man, it's sad to say, but I had the same problem too Zennou, I'm 20 years old, and when I first got my Advanced PET I was all over the place wanting to Net Battle, but... only guy I found who is willing to battle me is my best friend who uses a Forte style PET. If you live anywhere near me in Florida I'll be happy to battle ya XD

But yeah, there is no difference in the chip when it says CP whatever on it. I actually own 3 Area Steal chips, one that says Area Steal, one that says CP 3 and one that says Area Steal in Japanese... and they all do the samething.

Well since we are on the topic of netbattleing I can find anyone as I said before but I think its gonna be cool when I can battle with the Link PET cause I thnk its wireless connection.

You should try finding pokemon fans nowadays, we're getting a bit scarce. Only 1 person I know in real life likes pokemon. And no one I know has even heard of Megaman. So... anybody live in Salt Lake City, Utah? :stonecube:

In my Middle school, I was lucky, there where about a dozen kids who played Rockman/Megaman, the EXE series, they played others as well, I however was the EXE champ of the school, I never lost thanks to my good folders! ^_^

Btw, I like pokemon, just the games, I'm real good at movesets, but since Rockman I've been losing interest in it, sorry to the strong fans of it...

Neh, I have too kinda. My interest in it is focussed in... a different way now ^.=.^; I used to play on NetBattle alot [Wish they had something like that for RockMan, it'd make it so much easier for us fans to have our Net Battles...], but my movesets/teams suck 'cause I use what I like XD

yeah I was looking at the toys, and they have some with CP some with names, so Im bummed out, I GOTTA COLLECT 2 SETS NOW!!!!

yeah being an older fan is kinda hard, espescially if your six foot six 230lbs, and tattooed!!

kids like me, but their parents sure dont!

anyways I live in Vancouver, British Columbia waaaaay up here in CANADA!

lots of younger fans here though, all the stores stay sold out

My first PET broke two days after I got it.(sure, I threw it against a wall, but still...) Then my boyfriend gave me his. I don't even KNOW if the thing works, and I think I lost most my chips ^^; I'd love to get a new one, though. I've battled a few times, it's fun. I live in Nowheresville, British Columbia, about a 2 hours flight from Vancouver. Yeah, I'd love to battle if I ever get another PET. Probably not gonna happen, though.

I have 3 advanced PETs in english and than a japanese Progress PET (Netto). I really want to get a Link PET cause when I said earlier the Wireless battling will be really cool. And I have someone to translate the japanese instuructions.

No kidding BattleChips are harder to get now that the tv series is been canned off the air.
Toywiz is running out of them like nuts.The new PET system(Stream)is way better plus you can be Bass.EXE instead also Japan chips work on the Yankee pet too,
