January 2005 EXE manga chapter summary (Zounds, Spoilers!)

Netto runs to Rock, who is Beast Outting, telling him to stop. But Beast Out Rock leams at Netto and slashes him! And wakes up, forcing Netto out of sleep as well. Rock is still crying over his dream, apologizing for attacking Netto, but he discovers it was just a dream and apologizes. And Netto quickly falls asleep once again. Later, Dekao asks Netto if Rock is still an Ameropean criminal, but he says that that's over. So then Meiru and Yaito ask what's happened this time. Dekao thinks that Amerope's military has drafted Netto because Rock managaed to defeat Nebula Gray, but Netto says even if that's so, that's not the case. He says that Forte Cross Rockman is not a soul unision, but a new power he has yet to understand. Glyde, Gutsman, and Roll cheer him on, while Roll fantasizes that Rock will always protect her. Glyde exclaims that he doesn't want to do it, but Roll is not talking to him. Suddenly, a girl appears behind them. Rock questions her, but Guts asks Rock who he's talking to. Glyde says he sees no one, but then Rock says that there's a cute girl in front of them. Roll gets immensly jealous and beats on poor Rock. Suddenly, the network collapses, causing Guts and Roll to fall! Rock dives after them while Glyde waits up above. Netto attatches his iPET to his arm and immediately goes into FUll Synchro. They end up in a junle while looking for Roll and Gutsy. Suddenly, a dragon fly flies towards him. Rock points out how cute it is. Closer, closer, closer, HUGE. Rock runs away in fear, but soon sees that the bug thing has Gutsman in its tail! Rock gets a sword and slices the tail off, but the bug is still there. There's a loud rumble and the bug flies away. It's that huge wolf thing! A voice informs him that it's Greigar. It's the same girl who was talking to Rock earlier. Rock asks why Greigar chose to give him power and what exactly Beast Out is. Then, Greigar begins to vanish. Rock demands to know who the girl is. She says that she is Iris and she watches over the legendary program. Rock and Netto demand to know what she is talking about and what she means by "legendary program." before she can fully explain, some blasts distract him. Some people are attacking him and it's Blues Search and Tomahawk! Blues wants to know who Iris is and even if he can't see her, he knows Rock isn't alone. Iris says some words, which leaves Rock in disbelief. They're enemies!!?

I agree, the transition from Nebula Grey into the Beast arc was quite quick. However, I'm interested to see how Beast will be handled in the manga, so I don't care. Poor Rock getting fantasized about one minute by Roll then getting beat up by her the next sounds hilarious.

Oooh, this issue definitely looks to be promising. I'm in agreement that the pacing seems to be relatively rapid, but considering that the pace of this manga tends to fly by rather quickly (just look at how much was covered in only a few issues past), I don't really think it's too out of the ordinary. Seeing Iris finally appear as Griega's "tamer" was definitely a twist. I can only wonder how this will influence the rest of this scene in the manga...since the anime makes her seem more like a damsel in distress, IMO.

Che, I know it's a link PET. It just looks like a freaking iPod. I have the Link PET summary somewhere.

And if you actually read through it, you would notice huge gaps of important parts. I'm only in Japanese 2. If I knew a lot more Japanese, my summary would be a lot more detailed. A LOT more detailed. Yes, I recognize a few words, but other than that, I only know a small bit of vocabulary and sentence structure.

Of course, I should label my topics "BEWARE OF VAGUE AND POSSIBLY MISTRANSLATED SUMMARY BECAUSE MALIK IS STILL A SILLY LITTLE SOPHMORE IN AN AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL WITH FINACIAL PROBLEMS AND SKUNKS."

Iris in Manga, how to said it? She looks more smart and active than her Anime counterpart. However she also somehow... villian-ish? But she 's still pretty, I like her.
