The New MegaMan NT Warrior Figure Discussion

I think it would be good if they released Roll booster packs because of the good recovery chips and maybe a roll arrow chip or something. I have about six or seven double soul figures and I have both CF figures (Rockman, Blues), but now in the target, toysrus, and KB toys near me (Los Angeles, California) there are a couple of Forte Advanced PETs, one or two 10" figures, a few battle chip booster packs, and MAYBE a mini figure or double soul figure. NOT that much AT ALL.

seeing how they haven't released anything new within the last 6 months I suspect they don't care about NT Warrior any more. There's already One Piece toys out now.

Mega Man NT Warrior is actually still popular in my neck of the woods actually. There are a lot of toys still in stock that are replenished almost bi-weekly. The main problem is that the morning crowd usually comes in at the break of dawn to snatch up all the good ones, leaving behind all the common figures like Guts Soul or Torch Soul behind. <_< The rare figures left behind usually have either poor paint or poor packaging, or a combination of both.

Although for some reason there seems to be a glaring shortage of buster/sword arm toys. The last one I saw was selling at Target for $15.99...and that was almost a week ago. Chances are some kid somewhere is probably shooting his cat with it by now. O_o

It might just be stuff they overstocked in the back room. The Targets I got to is generally putting NT Warrior stuff on clearance.

Well, there's different availability in different areas, right? Then it makes sense that there'd be different popularity too, aside from the two things being related. Granted there are hard-to-find's everywhere (such as, from what I remember, the Roll Soul and Searchman/Soul figures) but different areas will have different finds, based on what sells there and what doesn't. For instance, it's not exactly an NT Warrior figure but my trip to CA was the only time I saw a Cutman figure, whereas here we only have the Napalm Bomb Megaman ones. And more on subject, the closest Toys R' Us has the Buster toys out the wazoo, as well as that elusive Roll Soul (which I, needless to say, snapped up) whereas both of the close-by Wal-Marts seem to only carry Bass and Gutsman, and a bunch of miniature Proto Souls.

The only thing left at Toys R Us was the NT Warrior Value Pack. And at Target there's no more NT Warrior stuff.

My Target has the Battle Chip packs and a vew few action figures..Walmart here in Leesburg have none. But earlier I heard talk of the new figures coming out in January..I haven't found any, and with the depressive talk around here, I guess they haven't come out yet..

I actually saw NT Warrior toys stocked at Walgreens of all places. Newer ones too, like Searchman, CF Protoman, and I think a few of the souls. Weird. Meanwhile, its been nothing but the usual stock everywhere else. Toys R Us and Walmart had restocked, but they had stuff that I either already bought or wasn't interested in. K-Mart actually seems like the usual place to find the most rare ones around here. I found almost all the soul figures there with the exception of Wood Soul. I've also never found the mini Spout Soul anywhere, ever.

My wlamart clearenced all the figures, I was gonna snatch a few & charge them, but all that was left were a few protoman chip packs, i was pissed, now i have to look other places for them

Well, my TRU never sold any NT figures beyond the first Soul Unison series, so I don't care about them. However, my Target just remolded their toy isle, and they still have NT figures in a new place, so they obviously aren't done with them. Besides, Dragonflyz are back, so there is no reason why NT should be cancelled until Dragonflyz has been cancelled.

Since this is the figure discussion topic, I got some good news

Those who have KB Toys in their area, I suggest go checking them between Feb 17-27, for 10 days they are doing a 50% off sale of Orange tagged stickered items, and guess what????

The NT Warrior figures are tagged, 3 for $10! I was at My KB Toys in E-Town, KY, and they had Torchman, Cross Fusion Megaman, and Gutsman left there, I already had Gutsman in a box and one out of a box, so I picked up the other two, they was like $3.84 a piece! Very Very good deal!

If your still looking to complete your collection, I suggest going now, before they are all gone!

It's probably safe to assume by now that WoodSoul was never released, despite the picture on the back of the toy packages.

Actually, WoodSoul WAS released, but it was recalled for unknown reasons. It's out there somewhere, but it's extremely difficult to find at this point. Egoraptor informed me of this after coming in contact with Mattel a while ago. He also inquired about the Shadowman thinger, but I can't actually remember what the answer about that was. IIRC, they weren't even that sure what happened to it. o.o;

I don't think anyone ever reported actually finding the WoodSoul figure, though. Which is sad cause he's one of the ones I wanted the most. ;-;
