A Megaman/Pokemon Crossover! Chapter 5 is up!!

No spoilers as so far. This has the same characters as my other fic, Piranha.

Chapter 1:
“Now, Blastoise! Ice beam!” Daniel shouted fiercely. His Pokemon presented the final blow. Spheal was knocked out.

-o-o-o-o-o-

Spheal opened her eyes. “Where am I?” She stood up. “Wait, why are my legs so long? I wasn’t able to stand up before…” She walked around and scanned her surroundings. The area was quite unlike what she was used to. Instead of dirt and grass on the ground, there were blocks of some odd bluish material on the ground. Floating in the air were more blue translucent items. Spheal looked at herself. She saw a human girl, covered in a skintight light blue suit, with dark blue armor. “Sarah, where are you? Where am I? Why am I a human instead of a Pokemon?” She shouted these burning questions, not expecting an answer.

“Hi, Spheal! You’re in my PET, silly! And Pokemon haven’t existed for over 100 years, didn’t you know?” Spheal just stared at the large screen in front of her. “Helloo! Daddy said that you’re my new navi, but for a navi, you’re really stupid.”

“Hey! Treat me with some respect, will you!” Spheal shouted, still evaluating her surroundings.

“Yay, I have a smart navi! Now I can show off to Sakura!” Sarah shouted with glee.

“Wait, who said I’ll be your na-vi?” Spheal said, putting a odd accent on the word navi, as it was still very new to her.

“DADDY SAID SO!!” Sarah shouted exasperatedly.

“And who is this ‘Daddy’?”

“The renowned Dr. Yuki, of course,” Sarah said knowingly. “Daddy worked on the computer to give me this cool birthday present! (which is you of course, she muttered)”

“Why should I listen to ‘Daddy’?” Spheal asked

“Because he brought you back to life!” Sarah said.

“And that means…?”

“Let Daddy explain...”

-a few minutes later-

“... so you were encased in ice. Mr. Yuki saw that you were going to die, so using some of Dr. Hikari’s technology he turned you into data.” Dr. Yuki’s navi said. “But, he also gave you a special ability, to come to the real world, using this chip.” He held a chip attached to a chain. “Wear this around your neck all the time, okay?”

“Okay,” Replied Spheal, dumbfounded. “So you mean I can use the chip and get into my train--- I mean my net-op's world. Why can’t I use it all the time, then?”

“Well, it can only last for a few hours-- not to mention a few, err... side effects.”

“What do you mean, ‘side effects’?”

“Why don’t you try it out?”

Kram_elbog, was that a compliment or diss? Also, this chapter was to introduce Spheal's new mode, so it's not exactly action-y.

The stage was set, speaking figuratively, of course. Sarah was in ACDC Park, with her big sister Sakura. She held out her PET. “You know what to do, right?” She asked, unsure about what she was about to do.

“Yeah... I guess. P-p-pokechip, a-activate!” Spheal said, stuttering with nervousness. (Pokechip is the name of the chip that turns Spheal real)

There was a flash of light. At first, there was nothing. Then, Sakura pointed something out to her little sister that looked like a beach ball. It was rolling around. That was the point where Sarah said, “Spheal! What happened?” Unfortunately Spheal was only able to clap her fins and shout “Spheal!”

At this moment, a group of passerby reveal themselves.

“What is th-th-that thing?” Netto asked, shakily pointing his finger at the blue sphere on the ground and shuddering.

“It’s-it’s-it’s so cute!” Maylu and Yaito said in unison.

“I-I-I was just kidding. Right, Maylu?” Netto said, after hearing the girls’ response.

“Yeah, whatever you say, Netto.” Maylu said, rolling her eyes and laughing.

“Who are you, anyway?” Chisao asked.

“Why do YOU care, little brother?” Dekao asked.

“Well, I think I saw that girl in my class...”

“For you information, I am the great Sarah Yuki, little sister of Sakura Yuki, and daughter of...”

“If you’re so great, why don’t I know you?” Chisao asked, interrupting Sarah’s speech.

“Well, I’m not really famous. And to answer Netto’s question, I’m not really sure myself.”

“I don’t think I’ve told you my name; it’s Maylu. And, why don’t we find out what that is?”

“Actually, we have a vague idea what that thing is. It’s my little sister’s navi, Spheal. But something seems wrong with her... Hey, Sarah, why don’t we go see Daddy for some answers?” Sakura asked.

“But isn’t he in Scilab?” Sarah asked.

“That’s easy; my dad works there too.” Netto said.

“Actually, he works at NAXA.” Sarah said.

“Whatever,” Netto said.

--At Scilab--

“So, what you’re saying, Daddy, is that this is Spheal’s original form?” Sarah and Sakura responded.

“And that Spheal is really a fossil of a Pokeman that has been turned to data?” Yaito asked.

“PokemOn.” Everyone said.

“Yeah, that's what I meant,” Yaito said.

“Wow, almost like Saito.” Netto said.

“Actually, Saito/Megaman was kind of like my model.”

“Spheal!” Spheal proudly announced.

“Now that we have the answer, let’s go home.” Netto said, getting looks from Sakura and Sarah that clearly said “Since when were you our boss?”

“That sounds good! I wanna go to big bwudder!” Chisao said. (Dekao didn’t want to go.)

At this moment, Spheal turned into a ball of light and disappeared back into his steel-blue PET.

What I said wasn't a compliment or a diss I simply said that at that point it seemed interesting but just like the saying you can't judge a book by its cover you can't really determine if a fic is good just because it has a good first chapter, it depends completely how the rest of it unfolds.

Good second chapter, though It was a bit weird that you used Netto and Yaito's japanese name but called Meiru Maylu, I believe that it is best to stick to one language for names. example saying Lan plugged Rockman in is well really odd considering Lan's navi is Megaman though in the japanese version Megaman is Rockman, Lan is Netto so it just seems odd that you refered to Netto and Yaito by their Japanese names but not Meiru.

Chapter 3: Get Ready!

"There are more pokemon?" Sakura loudly asked in unison with Sarah.

"Yes, actually, there are many. We have found multiple fossils around the world, of pokemon that have been forgotten."

"What will you do with them?"

"Well, we would like to market them as one-of-a-kind navis, perhaps the strongest the world has seen." Mr.Yuki said, adjusting his bifocals.

"Isn't that a bad idea, seeing as there are probably going to be many people set out to use them for evil? I saw that on a late-night TV show. And cartoons. And cliched stories." Sakura said.

"Right. So I have a job for you two. Send these super-navis to whoever you think is worthy. You have a good sense of right and wrong, I suppose." Mr. Yuki said thoughfully.

"You thought that up this minute, didn't you?"

"Yeah..."
---At the Train Station---

"Who do you think we should give the navis to?" Sakura asked, while waiting for the train. Mr. Yuki had given them four navis: Charmander, Porygon, Totodile, and Treecko.

"Well... there was..."

Sakura had no time to reply, as a man in a grayish suit with a notorious red R on it jumpedd out said " 'ello...umm..." he flipped through a set of flash cards with crudely drawn pictures on them "Sakura and Sarah! I am from Team Rocket, sent by my Boss to steal yer Poke... wait, I wasn't s'pposed to tell ya that... f'get that last bit, okay?"

"How about... no!" Sarah said.

A glowing light emitted from Sarah's PET. "Let's get ready!"

Without warning, another person jumped out of the shadows. She demanded, "Who sent you here, Jimmy?"

"Shh... don't tell them my name, Jane!"

"Hey!" She complained loudly.

While the two were bickering loudly, Sakura slipped out a chip. "Synchro chip, slot in! Cross fusion!"

Armor appeared on Sakura as she seemingly turned into her navi Piranha. A buster appeared on her arm. Sharp blades protuded from her shoulders.

Finally the bumbling duo snapped back to reality and released their pokemon. Light poked out of their PETs, as their Pokemon appeared. Bulbasaur escaped from Jane's acid green PET and a Cyndaquil came from Jimmy's off white PET.

But, as they came out, Sakura simply blasted them with a wide shot and Spheal just used her aurora beam. They had won, but it was so easy---too easy, perhaps.

"Team Rocket is blasting of agaaaaaaiiiiin!" they said, as they shot into the sky, as if they were experienced at this.

Very good, very good! A bit short, but it just leaves me wanting more ~.=.^ I look forward to the next installment ^.==.^

Interesting. This should be a good fic as long as it doesn't go into the Pokemon rut (a team Rocket balst-off for every episode!). It certainly is original. There are tons of possibilities. I'd love to see a Ditto navi, or an Aipom navi. Oh, and fear the might of the Hoot Hootman.exe. Will Spheal evolve later? I like this fic, and hope your next chapter is good too!

I'm not sure how to incorporate evolution navi-wise. Perhaps an armor change. And I don't think that they will blast off all the time(too monotonous.)

A Pokemon style evolution change is usually permanent, so an armor change probably wouldn't work unless the character was meant to have the armor for the entire fic. That said, this is quite an interesting read. It's an oddly refreshing break to see an AU fic involving a crossover with Pokemon characters for once.

A PERMANENT armor change then... i guess.

Chapter 4: School Time!

"Let;s go!" Sakura shouted.

For Sakura, this was just another day of going to school, but for Sarah it was her first year. In Sharo, education started late, at about 7 years. In ACDC, school started at 5. Sarah was 7. Needless to say, there was trouble adjusting.

"So our room is here?" Sarah asked her guide, Chisao. She had forgotten everything over the weekend.

"Yup! Our teacher is Miss End."

"Is she nice? Not that I forgot, but fist impressions aren't everything..."

"Yeah! Dekao had her in second grade too... he said she is really good,"

They entered the class. Miss End said "Let's javk in your navis! Time for a multiplication review!"

Review..? I don;t even know what that is! Sarah frantically thought, while jacking her navi in.

Meanwhile, Chisao was looking like he was about to cry.

"What's the problem?" Miss End asked.

"Well... I don't have a navi!" Chisao shouted, bursting into tears.

"Shh," she whispered to the laughing students. (Sarah obviously wasn;t one of the laughing students)

"That;s okay, you can borrow a school Mr.Prog!"

"Really?" He asked, his face brightening.

--On the Net--

There was a large board with many multicolored plastic-looking numbers strewn on it. Many navis were crowded around it and 1 school Mr.Prog in the school's colors, hunter green and navy blue.

"2 times 4?" The teacher's navi asked

"8"

"13 times 4?"

"52"

"10 by 11?" the questions got increasingly harder,

"110"

"12 by 12?" this question was directed at Sarah.

This time Sarah was the one who looked like she was about to cry. "Um...er..uh..24?"

The students brouke out into snorts and giggles of laughter yet again, this time pointed at Sarah.

The teacher said "No, that's 12+12." in a frustrated voice.

Chisao hastily whispered "Imagine 12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12!"

That;s a mouthful! Sarah thought. After a few moments, she came up with "144!".

"Correct! Wow, you catch on so quickly!" The teacher said happily.

After the school day was over, Sarah told Sakura "I know who we should give Charmander to!"

"Who?"

"You don;t need to know who he is!" Sarah shouted fiercely.

"Oooohh, it's a boy!" Sakura teased.

"Shut UP!" Sarah said loudly rushing home. Sakura raced after her, continually teasing her.

Sarah put a bow on the badly wrapped lump. She put it in her bag and ran to the house next to her. She rang the doorbell several times. There was no response for a few moments. Then, luckily, it was Chisao and not Dekao who answered the door.

"What've you got there?" Chisao asked frankly; he never spared time for waiting for someone to tell him things like that.

"It's an early christmas present! Merry early christmas!" Sarah shouted, running away quickly.

"But Christmas isn;t for a few weeks..?" He said, as he ripped open the decorative paper. Inside was a fire-red PET with Charmander.EXE in it, and a few chips in it.

"Thank you!" he shouted to Sarah as she ran inside. Fire, the fiercest element, always was his favorite element.

How did she know? Chisao thought, forgetting the earlier events of the day.

Dont bug me about the odd start.

---CHAPTER 5-----

“Hey, why don’t we go to Higsby’s to get some new chips?” Sarah asked eagerly.

“We bought some yesterday!” Sakura said.

“Well, um.. I need some new ones!” Sarah was obviously trying to hide something.

“What are you trying to hide?” Mrs. Yuki said, walking in on the scene.

“Well, I saw this person in the park... I wanted to invite her here. She’s a really...interesting character”*

“The last time you invited a stranger to the house, they nearly stole all our furniture!”

“Trust me, she’s not a thief.” Sarah said, giving one of her signature pouts.

“That's what you said last time,” Sakura said, rolling her eyes.

“Why are we here again?” Sakura said.

“Because Mommy always caves in when I pout,” Sarah stated brightly, getting her way.

“Yeah...” Sakura said, lost for words at how spoiled her sister was.

The lady standing by the golden squirrel statue had very messy hair. She did not have a navi, or a PET for that matter. She was wearing paint stained clothes and had an easel propped in front of her.

The painting was amazing. It had a setting unlike any place the girls had ever seen, a grassland filled with bright pink and white flowers. What was most unbelievable was the image on the canvas. It was strangely familiar to both the girls and Spheal.EXE. The creature portrayed a bulbasaur admiring its surroundings.

“What’s that thing in the painting?” Sakura asked the stranger, trying to be casual. It was hard when you were talking to a stranger that knew a secret of ancient creatures of hundreds of years past that only a few others knew.

“Why it’s a bulbasaur.” The lady said out loud, not caring for secrecy.

“Oh... I don’t think I introduced myself. I’m Sakura and this is my sister Sarah.”

“Oh, hi! I’m Bella, short for Bellossom.”
“AHEM...” Spheal said rather loudly.

“What?” Sarah hissed silently so only her sister and her navi could hear.

“That’s a Pokemon’s name.”

“Are you trying to say she’s a Pokemon?” Sakura hissed.

“NO...maybe..errr..”

“But Daddy said Pokemon can only appear here in their other form, never human.” Sarah pointed out, loyal to Daddy as always.

“WHO CARES WHAT DADDY SAYS!?” Spheal shouted angrily. Unfortunately, this was so loud that Bella noticed them.

“What, did you say anything?” said Bella. Luckily for the girls, Bella was too much into her painting to hear anything.

“Errr... nothing,” Sakura said hastily.

“Listen, we can talk about this later, at home.” Spheal hissed.

“I heard what you said.” Bella stated.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not a Pokemon, but I am part of the Pikapika tribe.”

“The Pikapika tribe?”

“The Pikapika tribe is an ancient tribe, who were the only people that knew about Pokemon. We have tried to share our message with others, but they were all skeptical. It IS hard to believe though, that once powerful creatures existed. They asked us for proof of their existence, but unfortunately, the Pokemon have died out.”

“That’s not tr..” Sarah started, but Sakura quickly elbowed her.

“Now, I, as the lone descendant of the Pikapika tribe, have only 1 goal: to prove that Pokemon exist! However, all I have shown so far are my paintings of these ‘mystical creatures.’”

Sarah and Sakura were deeply moved by her determination. “Bella, we have good news. Pokemon DO exist, and my dad has succeeded in bringing them back, ” Sakura said. “I can give you one if you wish.” Sarah silently protested at this, though.

“Here! Treecko.EXE. He can be brought to the real world using this chip.” Sakura handed both the PET and the chip to Bella.

“Thanks! I really needed this! My life will never be the same!” Bella said.

“It’s--it’s n-nothing..” Sakura stuttered, confused.

“No, seriously! Boss said he will make me an executive if I got a Pokemon for him!”

“Boss..?”

At this point, Bella shed her costume for the unmistakable Team Rocket uniform.

“Just great..” Sarah said.
