Thanks for the comments. And yes Unknown is correct Aoi is Blues. I had to mess with some personalities and such of a few characters in order to make things work togather. Atsuki for example is only in EXE 4 so there isn't much to go on for his personalities. And when changing the genders of characters their personalites also need to be changed.

They won't be training together until a few chapters later. Their first training session, well you wouldn't stick four girls with the ability to manipulate the elements in a room together if they have very very little control over their power now would you?

Chapter 5, Training Begins!

“Listen up Sakura, you will need to train if you plan on living.” Atsuki shouted at Sakura as he led her to a cave in the middle of nowhere.

“Why are we training in a cave?”

“Because if we trained in the woods you’d probably kill to many creatures!”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“It means you have the power to manipulate fire, and wood burns pretty easily!”

“So why a cave though?”

“Just come in so we can start!” Atsuki said as she stepped inside. He stared around the cave to make sure he had everything in place. “I need some of Suzaku’s flame, just a little though.”

“Why?”

“To start the training.”

“Okay.” Sakura said as she summoned a small fire ball and tossed it to Atsuki. Atsuki went straight to work forcing the fire to grow larger and larger. He sat it on some wood near the cave entrance so their was no way out.

“Why did you do that?”

“Because, your task is to find a way out of the cave. You see if you don’t we will both die. I have had our immunity to fire sealed so that we will either burn to death or die from smoke inhalation.” Atsuki said laughing.

“Why the hell would you do something like that?”

“Because it seems you can only tap into your powers if you are in serious danger.”

“Shizuru, are you ready?” Misato asked through the speakers.

“Ready for what?”

“Ready for us to start the training program. We will be generating 2 low level shadows to start. Note this system is designed to create solid beings. That means if you are hit, then you will be hurt. After all this isn’t just a normal simulator.”

“Ok, I’ll give it my best.”

“Good, we are starting the system now!”

“Tenshi, Miss Washu has created a training chamber that can create low level shadows using the small amount she collected from the ones we destroyed the other day. You will need to learn how to use your elemental power by itself. Because we don’t know how dangerous using the sword of Jurai to channel the elemental powers could be.” Ryouko said as she appeared in Tenshi’s room without any warning.

“Why do you just appear in my room so much? Do you like seeing me naked?” Tenshi shouted as she covered her self with her hands.

“We are both females, I don’t know why you are so shy.”

“Ryouko, you do realize you are around I don’t know how many times my age! I mean it doesn’t matter that we are both females, it is just seems so wrong. You are over 500 years old, that is just gross.”

“Hey I may be a five hundred plus year old space pirate but I have the body of a human 20 year old! So I don’t see why you are so shy around me.” Ryouko said as she leaned in and gave Tenshi a kiss on the cheek before she teleported out of the room.

“Stupid Ryouko, She is so damn perverted.” Tenshi mumbled as she stepped out of her room after changing and headed to the entrance to Washu’s lab.

“Li why are we climbing to the top of Fuji-san?”

“Aoi this is the warm up for your training.”

“What kind of training involves climbing to the top of Fuji-San with out climbing equipment before sundown?”

“The kind of training that is used to train for the fight against enemies who want to enslave our planet!”

“I see the top.”

“Good, as soon as we get to it the real training begins.” Li said as they continued to climb. Aoi was the first one to reach the top because she had been using lightning from her palms to help push her up the mountain instead of wearing out her hands. She just used the little shocks from her palms, and the souls of her feet to make small jumps.

“So what now?”

“Let me set two targets up, then I’ll tell you what you have to do.” Li said as he walked a few feet and sat up two targets. He then continued back to were Aoi was and blindfolded her. “Just hit those two targets with out using your sense of sight, and you cant point at them either.”

“That is impossible!” Aoi shouted.

“ Use the electricity in the air. It is easier than you think.”

“Ok, you better not be lying.” Aoi said as she started to gather energy around her. Sparks shot out from her body causing lightning to come close to hitting Li about five times. She kept trying to strike down the two targets that she knew were in front of her but with out sight it was proving difficult.

“Lighting Strike down the targets!” She shouted, finally mad at the fact that Li hadn’t made any comments since the training started. Two blasts of lightning shot from the sky, curved rather strangely and sent the small splinters of wood flying in every direction.

“You finished quicker than I figured you would, now for the next task.”

“Atsuki this training is insane.” Sakura said coughing as she tried to extinguish the large fire that was now surrounding her and her aid. They were completely surrounded by the fire, Atsuki had made sure to line the entire cave with wood in order to increase the danger.

“Yes it may be insane but it is effective.”

“You idiot, how the hell am I supposed to extinguish this.”

“I don’t remember telling you to extinguish it.”

“You told me to find a way out. This cave only has one exit so that means I have to extinguish this fire.”

“If you think so.”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean you can’t seem to even suppress a little bit of fire. If you cant do that then you might as well just give up. I could easily get us out of here but this is your training after all.”

“Surpress?” Sakura asked before noticing that Atsuki had just went to sleep. “Wait, that is right, the flame is just blocking the entrance, so I shouldn’t have to extinguish it just make a new exit.” Sakura said softly as she begun to try and rip a hole in the large wall of flames.

“Shizuru, you need to focus!” Misato shouted from the control room as Shizuru was thrown into a wall for the sixteenth time.

“It is kind of hard to focus when those things are shooting balls of fire at me!” Shizuru shouted as she tried to dodge some of the attacks.

“Idiot! You are not supposed to dodge their attacks and run, you are supposed to fight them. Shizuru you managed to rip a shadow to shreds the other day, so do it again!” Misato shouted at Shizuru causing her to loose focus and get hit by three fireballs in a row. However this caused something in her to snap and she shoved her hands into the ground, ripped up a chunk of the floor and tossed it at the shadows before dashing towards them and slashing at them wildly with her new stone claws.

Shizuru continued to slash through every shadow that attacked her. Misato continued to cheer her on as she slaughtered the simulated shadows. “Keep it up, show them your true power!”

“You do realize that she has gone berserk right?” Ritsuko asked as she observed the training. “Looks like Shizuru has no clue how to summon the power her self but when she goes berserk the power just seems to take her over.”

“You are right it does look like that. So we should stop this and I should try something different is that what you are saying?”

“Yes Misato, disengage the simulator and try to teach Shizuru how to control her powers.”

“Tenshi, watch me and try to do as I do.” Ryouko said as she grabbed a handful of water and flung it at the shadows that had surrounded her and Tenshi. The water quickly turned into some ice blades and shot straight through the shadows. Tenshi quickly turned and summoned giant ice blades, then swung and sliced all the shadows around him causing them to quickly vanish. Washu made more though, so Tenshi and Ryouko definitely were not with out opponents.

“Aqua Blade!” Tenshi shouted as her blade of ice changed to a more aqua like blade and she kept destroying the shadows that were constantly being regenerated. Ryouko and Tenshi were beginning to show signs of fatigue but refused to admit it when ever Washu asked if they wanted to stop for the night.

“So what is the next task?”

“Simple, you need to move some boulders. I know there are some, somewhere on this mountain. But of course your hands wont help you, and using too much lightning will shatter them, I just want you to move them from where you find them to here. That shouldn’t be to difficult. Plus Only three boulders will suffice.”

“What exactly is this training for?”

“The first was strength. Testing your physical strength. Though towards the last part you used your powers to get to the top. The second one was to target practice, testing focus and aim. Though personally I should of failed you on it. I mean you had to almost cause an avalanche in order to hit the targets, plus you almost hit me five times. However you did succeed with out causing any damage, and you did so quicker than I thought. This task is to test your control of your out put. Some times you won’t want to use too much power, like if you were surrounded by civilians. And other times you might need to just release it all. You need to be able to do so with ease.”

“Ok, that should be a piece of cake then!” Aoi said before walking off in search of some boulders.

“If it was only that easy, I bet she will destroy at least one boulder.”

Next time

The training continues. Sakura is getting fed up with the task of trying to open a hole in the flames, especially with the fact that it seems like Atsuki didn't seem to just fall asleep but passed out due to the smoke. Misato tries to teach Shizuru how to control her powers. Aoi gets caught up in some natural disasters atop the mountain. Ryouko won't quit flirting with the an injured Tenshi. What will everyones outcome be?

personally I kinda feel I sorta rushed this chapter but while I was typing it I was also thinking of my plans for the first dozen chapters and decided I shouldn't stay too long with their training. Originally it was just going to be a one chapter deal.

Ch 6, Training Continues.

“Atsuki, Atsuki!” Sakura shouted as she turned to see that Atsuki was no longer snoring, and his coat was now on fire. “I have to do something, if I don’t then…. I don’t even want to think about it.” Sakura muttered as she stopped trying to rip her way through the fire and decided to take off Atsuki’s coat in order to try and save him. She did her best to drag him over to where she was trying to open the flames, and sat him down. She raised her hands and started to try and rip the flames open having very little success.

“Tenshi watch out!” Ryouko shouted as a couple shadows appeared behind the Lady of Genbu and slashed at her back. Tenshi fell face first into the ground and quickly rolled out of the way from another attack.

“Ryouko, a little help please!” Tenshi shouted as she struggled to get up. Ryouko leaped at the shadows and used her staff to block their attacks.

“Tenshi, my love, will you just finish playing with these guys so we can have some fun?”

“Ryouko! I don’t like you that way, we are just friends!” Tenshi shouted at her aid as she held up her hands and two spheres of water appeared in them. “Hydro Blast!” Tenshi screamed as she unleashed her attack and sent the shadows flying into a wall.

“Good job Tenshi, so can we have some alone time now?” Ryouko asked as she floated over to the injured Tenshi.

“Hell no you sicko! We can spar if you want but I don’t like you like that how many times do I have to tell you!” Tenshi shouted firing even more Hydro Blasts at Ryouko, who started to block them with her staff.

“Shizuru, I am going to try and teach you how to call on your powers. If you succeed then you’ll be able to save the world from the upcoming Shadow attack.”

“What are you talking about Misato?”

“Your powers, the powers of Byakko. Well I should say the powers that Byakko entrusted to you.”

“What powers?”

“You don’t mean that you had no idea that you had the power to manipulate the earth?”

“I do? Are you sure?”

“Yes I am sure now pick up a rock and tossed it at me.”

“Ok.” Shizuru said as she tossed a rock at Misato who caught it and started to squeeze it.

“Watch closely then try your self. First focus your thoughts into the rock. Think of using it to protect your self then toss it in front of you.” Misato said as she tossed the rock and it transformed into a large stone wall. “Your turn.” Misato said as soon as she touched the wall and had it crumble.

“I’ll try.” Shizuru said slowly as she started to squeeze a small rock. You could easily tell that she was trying to focus all her thoughts into it, when she tossed it a large wall of stone instantly shot out of the ground.

“See, you just need to learn to summon your powers for offense and defense easier.”

“Stupid tasks. I mean he wants me to move three boulders with the force of lighting. That is just crazy, it’s taken me an entire hour just to find this one boulder.” Aoi muttered as she neared the small campsite that Li had set up, with the boulder in front of her.

“Well good job, you only have two more boulders to go if you want food.” Li said when he noticed Aoi return with a boulder.

“What?”

“You heard me get to work if you want food.” Li said and Aoi quickly stomped off.

“How dare he try to tell me if I don’t move stupid rocks I don’t get to eat.” Aoi said as she started down the mountain in search of more boulders. She stumbled across two and started to focus the electricity in her palms in order to safely move the two boulders at the same time to the camp at the top of the mountain. This took her a few hours to safely move them with as little power as possible. When she reached the top Li had food waiting for her and a smile on his face.

“I didn’t think you would move two at once. That was rather dangerous of you. But since you did succeed her is your dinner.” Li said as he handed her a plate of food.

“Thanks so what are we doing after this?”

“Sparing, then we can head back down the mountain in the morning.”

“So we came all the way up here for just one day of training?”

“Yes, that should be the same as the others. I am pretty sure we decided on one twenty four hour training session before you all get together.”

“But I thought you told my brother we’d be training for a few weeks.”

“Yes that was the original plan but I figure that one or two days worth of training should suffice for now. I mean if we walk clear to the designated rendezvous location then that should be enough training, especially since it will involve several different terrains. Plus I couldn’t tell him that we would only train for one day then trek clear across Japan just to meet up with six other people who have similar abilities in order to save the planet from aliens. I don’t think that your brother would like you going into a potentially fatal situation with only one day of training. I mean it took us how long exactly to hike here?”

“It took us an entire day to get here after arriving in the nearest town.“

“Exactly so overall it will be a few weeks of training if we include all the walking we will be doing.”

“I have to get an opening in this fire so we can get out but how?” Sakura said as she shoved her hands into the fire and started to try and rip a large hole in it. “Wait, I have to compress it, I am sure that is it.” She said when she realized what she was actually supposed to do. She stepped back a few feet and started to focus the flames into a small ball. It took her around half an hour to compress the flames blocking the entrance of the cave into a small ball of fire. When she pulled Atsuki out of the cave she quickly split the flame in half, and pressed half into Atsuki and the other half into her.

“What happened?” Atsuki asked as he coughed as he woke up.

“You passed out due to the smoke.”

“What? Then how are we…?”

“I figured out what to do and used some of Suzaku’s flame to heal you.” Sakura said calmly.

“You used the sacred flame to clear my lungs?” Atsuki asked when he realized that the Lady of Suzaku just saved his life.

“Yes I did.”

“Well then we should start our trip tomorrow, we will eat dinner in the cave and head out tomorrow morning.”

“Where?”

“To the rendezvous location of course.”

“Shizuru now!” Misato shouted as she summoned a stone wall. Shizuru picked up a rock and tossed it at the wall causing the wall to explode.

“Misato, I’ve mastered the stone wall, and bombs.”

“Now try both with out the small pebble, after all you need to conjure stuff all alone with out any help.”

“Ok. I’ll try.” Shizuru said as she held her hand out in front of her and made an upward motion, as she did this a wall shot straight up from the ground.

“Now try something else”

“Ok,” Shizuru said as she clenched her fist and a small light appeared in her hand and she tossed it at the wall, it changed into a rock that exploded on contact with the wall.

“When you went berserk you were capable of conjuring stone claws. I think that you should keep trying till you can do that, but you should be able to progress in the field.”

“Tenshi, you are ok physically. I don’t see anything wrong with you except for a few scratches. You know that tomorrow you and Ryouko have to start out on your trip to meet up with the others right?”

“Miss Washu, what others?”

“The Ladies of Byakko, Seiryuu, and Suzaku along with their aids.”

“Oh, so who all is going with.”

“I am sorry but only the Lady and her aid my go. It is much safer that way.”

“Well, you are going to teleport us their right?”

“Can’t you need to walk, Ryouko won’t tell me the rendezvous point.”

“Watch out, you need to keep your eye on my sword if you wish to succeed.”

“Li, you said we were going to spar, not have a sword fight!” Aoi shouted as she struck down with her electric blade, this caused lightning to strike all around them triggering an avalanche.

“Yeah, but I don’t remember asking you to try and kill us!”

“What do you mean?”

“You just started an avalanche, and you better stop it soon!” Li said as he started to run.

“This is simple, I just need to create snow traps by using the lighting.” Aoi said as she ran, she stopped occasionally to wave her arms at the ground and create a ditch with the lightning. She continued this till they were halfway down the mountain and out of breath, she had succeeded in catching about 90% of the snow in her traps and the remaining had caught up to them. It caught them and they rolled down the mountain.

The Blessed Four start out on their trip. However when Shizuru and Tenshi meet up by chance they find them surrounded by Shadows.

It could of been more detailed yes I know this I think the reason it wasn't though is I spread it out between four different characters. It was the same legnth as my others, around 3.25 pages in Microsoft Word. But Just seems shorter because of the 4 locations thing. The next few will be more detailed indeed.

Ch 7 Stern Tortoise and Fierce Tiger

“Shizuru, you need to pay attention to where you are walking.” Misato said as she helped Shizuru up. “That is the third time you have walked into a wall, what is wrong?”

“Well, it’s just I am tired, we have been walking for the past seven hours with out stopping.”

“You need to toughen up. If you don’t this planet won’t stand a chance!” Misato said as she continued to hike through the rocky terrain.

“Ryouko, why are we heading through the mountains?”

“Because Tenshi, we can’t take a direct route we must take a round about way incase we are followed by Shadows.” Ryouko said as she floated beside Tenshi.

“Well you have it easy, you can fly, I can’t!” Tenshi shouted as she launched a punch at her aid, who simply dodged it.

“Is that the best you got?” Ryouko asked as she launched her self at Tenshi.

“What is the plan?” A small figure asked as it bowed to the figure in the throne.

“You and a small army of Shadows will find and ambush the Lady of Byakko, and the Lady of Genbu. They are probably the weakest of the four so you should have no problem defeating them!”

“Yes master, as you wish it!” The figure said before vanishing.

“Shizuru, did you hear that?” Misato asked as she suddenly stopped. They had been walking for around a total of 16 hours with out stopping and it was now dark out. They had just decided to stop to set up camp when she heard a weird sound.

“No, what was it?”

“Sounded like a rock fell. It could be a Shadow so don’t let your guard down.”

“I think I smell Ramen.” Shizuru said as she stared in the same direction as Misato only to suddenly see a blast of water fly at them. Shizuru instantly brought up the stone wall the instant she saw the incoming attack. “Shadows?”

“I am not sure Shizuru, that attack wasn’t dark at all, but glowing with light.” Misato said.

“Well that means…”

“Yes, it means that attack came from either an aid, or a Lady.”

“Let me guess, Genbu.”

“Well it was a water attack. I didn’t think we’d be so close to another Lady though/”
“Hydro Surge!” a female voice called out as two Shadow’s went flying into a nearby cliff only to be evaporated.

“Well that was good/” Shizuru said before realizing that she was surrounded by an army of Shadows.

“Are you sure?”

“Not now!”

“Stone Claws!” Shizuru shouted with out thought as the rocks around her flew up and formed around her hands forming claws. As soon as this happened Shizuru smiled an let into the Shadows that tried to attack her.

“Hydro Burst!” Tenshi shouted when the Shadows neared her, she could barely make out the shape of two other people fighting the Shadows.

“Take this!” Ryouko shouted as she summoned her staff and started to smack the Shadows around.

“Terra spike!” Misato shouted as her hand was covered in rocks that formed into a long spike. “This should do! She said as she launched into attacking the Shadows as well.

“Shadow Blades!” the commanding Shadow shouted as his arms changed into blades and he launched into a furious onslaught.

“Hey freak face!” Shizuru and Tenshi shouted at the same time, causing the commander to turn his attention to them.

“Hydro Blade Storm!” Tenshi screamed as she started to fling blades of water all around her, hitting the Shadows and the commander.

“Terra STORM!” Shizuru shouted slamming her hands into the ground causing the rocks to fly into the air and rain down as spikes.

“DEMONIC SHADOW FLAME!” Kashin shouted as he fired a black flame at the two girls.

“Nice move freak, but we are strong!” Shizuru shouted. When the flame died down she was covered in armor from head to toe. The armor was lightweight, white with gold trim. The chest armor was white, with gold trim, the gloves had gold fingers, and the palm was black. The boots were white, with gold toes, and black bottoms. Her helmet was shaped like the head of a tiger. Her mouth guard looked as if it was made of cloth. And when she started to move it appeared that she wasn’t wearing anything because she moved with lightning quick speed.

“What is going on?” Kashin shouted when he noticed that Shizuru had changed.

“She tapped into her power!” Misato shouted happily.

“So you are the aid of Byakko, looks like you did a good job.” Ryouko said as she continued to smack around Shadows.

“Ryouko, aid of Genbu. You are as snotty, and selfish as I thought.” Misato said as she speared a few more Shadows.

“Tsunami BLAST!” Tenshi shouted catching Kashin off guard as she fired a large wave of water at him.

“Terra Striker! Stone Slash! Byakko Fury Storm!” Shizuru said as attack names spewed into her head and she launched them one after another. She struck Kashin with a stone sword, then slashed at him a few times with her claws., and finished by leaping into the air, landing on him and clawing at him with her steel claws.

“Why is she suddenly attacking like that?” Ryouko asked staring at the fight between the Shadow commander Kashin.

“She is a berserker, when ever she tends to get involved in a fight with the Shadows, she goes berserk. It is Shizuru’s one downside, she is a powerful fighter if she could control her powers.” Misato said as her and Ryouko continued keeping the Shadows away from Tenshi and Shizuru.

“Hey, what ever your name is lets take him out now!” Tenshi said with a smile on her face. She raised her hands and formed a large ball of water.

“Good idea!” Shizuru shouted as she lifted a large chunk of the ground above her head.

“Twin Guardian Blast!” They shouted in unison, Tenshi sent the ball of water straight at the chunk of ground in the sky, causing it to shatter and rain down on Kashin, then they both shot toward him and started to kick and punch him like crazy before Shizuru’s claws ripped him in half.

After they had finished off the small army Misato and Ryouko turned to each other and then looked at the two Blessed Ones that had just finished of Kashin. “Nice job.” Misato said right before Shizuru’s armor vanished.

“Misato, what happened?”

“Shizuru, you are the Lady of Byakko, and that is the power you tapped into.” Misato said

“Should we set up camp together, head out in the morning together?” Tenshi asked.

“Tenshi, that sounds like a wonderful idea!” Ryouko said as she floated over to her.

“Well, I am Masaki Tenshi, Lady of Genbu, and this is my aid, the space pirate Ryouko.” Tenshi said as soon as they realized they hadn’t introduced themselves.

“Nice to meet you Tenshi. My name is Katsuragi Misato, and this is the Lady of Byakko, Ikari Shizuru.” Misato said in response to Tenshi’s introductions. Then all four of them bowed and said “Hajimemashita!”

The Shadows are realizing that the Blessed Four are getting stronger each and everyday, and if they hesitated then they would surely loose. They know that if they are going to stand a chance against any of them now, they must strike as one. However, Sakura and Aoi meet up on the way to the rendevous point they are ambushed by a small army of Shadows, and Two commanders by the names of Jigokusan, and Shinoichi.

Eventually the armor wont be a big deal, since they are just now beginning to tap into their powers. But eventually Sakura, Tenshi, Aoi, and Shizuru will have a better range of abilities, and more focused powers.

Ch 8 Elegant Phoenix and Dazzling Dragon

“Sakura, wake up!” Atsuki shouted at the sleeping Lady of Suzaku.

“What is your problem?” Sakura asked as she started to wake up.

“We need to get going, the sun is up and we should get to the rendezvous point ASAP.”

“Ok, what is for breakfast?”

“Go find a squirrel and fry it up. I am not you personal chef, my duty is to protect your powers, and you from the Shadows.”

“Hey, I figured you would have had food ready. Plus I am not going to kill an innocent squirrel.”

“Then I guess you can starve!”

“Aoi, why in Seiryuu’s name are you being so slow?”

“Well maybe if you weren’t walking so fast then I wouldn’t seem so slow!” Aoi shouted as she tried to keep up with Li.

“If you would of learned to fly then we’d already be where we need to be!”

“Why would I of learned to fly, I am a HUMAN not a bird!”

“No you are not a bird but you are the Lady of Seiryuu, and that means you have some azure dragon in you so you should learn to fly!”

“Jigokusan! Kanoichi! The two of you will go and take out the Ladies of Seiryuu and Suzaku. They are close to each other right now so since one was unable to take out the other two, two should be able to take out two.” The dark figure in the throne said to two figures kneeling before him.

“Yes master, we will not let you down!” The taller one said as they vanished.

“Jigoku Blast!” the tall Shadow shouted as he swung a scythe through the air sending a blood red blast at the Lady of Suzaku.

“What was that?” Sakura muttered as the blast hit the ground, and knocked her over.

“A Shadow attack, I don’t think the person who fired it wanted to hit you though.”

“Then why did they fire it?”

“To let you know that they were there and that he wants to fight you.” Atsuki said as his eyes darted around trying to locate the source of the attack.

“You are a smart little boy, too bad I have to kill you!” the figure said as he came straight down at Atsuki and touched his scythe to Atsuki’s throat. The Shadow was wearing a long black cloak, and resembled the stereotypical Grim Reaper. “But that can wait, just stay out of this and let me and the girl have a one on one match, I win you die, she wins, well I guess then you would live.”

“What is you name?” Atsuki muttered as the scythe pressed against his throat.

“I am an elite warrior. My name is Jigokusan!” The tall shadow said as he removed the scythe and chains suddenly shot from the ground and attached to Atsuki’s arms and legs to hold him still. “This is an insurance method, so you cant help her.”

“Why do you want to fight me?” Sakura asked hesitantly.

“Because you are the Lady of Suzaku, I was sent to kill you but I’d rather have a fair fight, because I could of just killed you a second ago when I launched my attack but I am one of the few Shadows with good sportsmanship.” Jigokusan said as he started to walk around Sakura.

“I accept your challenge, but don’t think it is because I had no other choice. Because I do have other choices.”

“What other choices, you haven’t met the other blessed ones yet, and your aid is chained up?”

“I don’t feel like divulging that information right now!” Sakura said as a ball of fire appeared in the palm of her hand and it took the form of a large sword.

“I see, blade VS blade. Nice idea but I am a master of the scythe and you are but a little girl.”

“Binding Chains of Contract!” The shorter shadow shouted as he appeared behind Aoi and Li, the chains shot from the ground and attached to Li. “I am here to challenge the Lady of Seiryuu to a battle. One on one, she wins and the boy lives, I win and obviously he dies. So if you turn down the match, it shall be seen as forfeit, which counts as loss, and the chains shall take his life.”

“Who the hell are you?” Aoi shouted as she turned to see the shadow, he was wearing a cloak, similar to that of Jigokusan’s but red in color.

“Actually that would be my partner, currently he and the Lady of Suzaku are locked in a similar battle. But we do fight fair. And so you know my name is Kanoichi.” he said before pulling out a Kwandou staff, and pointed the bladed end at Aoi’s throat.

“Kanoichi I accept your challenge, but I shall not lose!” Aoi shouted as she got ready to summon a lightning blade.

“You don’t seem like you are one who should yield a blade. You don’t even look like you have the strength to block my attacks with it!” Jigokusan shouted as he swung his scythe at Sakura. Sakura was slow to react and her sword went flying through the air and stabbed itself into a rock.

“Dang it. Well I guess I’ll have to choose a different weapon.” Sakura said as she raised her arm and a bow appeared when her hand burst into flames. She aimed the arm mounted cross bow at Jigokusan and fired several fire arrows straight at him.

“Hells SLASH!” Jigokusan shouted as he swung his scythe launching a red slash through the air, slamming into Sakura. It cut open her shirt, and cut into her breasts. She staggered up and fired some more fire arrows at him and attempted to dodge his constant attacks.

“Thunder Strike!” Aoi shouted as she swung her sword at Kanoichi who attempted to block it with his staff only to be hit by lightning that shot from the blade.

“Thousand piercing jabs!” Kanoichi shouted as he rapidly stabbed at Aoi with his Kwandou staff. Aoi attempted to block the attack only to be stabbed in the gut and knocked down to the ground. She was sure that she was done with when the sky started to flash, and lightning started to strike all around her.

“What is going on!” Kanoichi shouted as he saw her staring at him with fear.

“The great Azure dragon is protecting me!” Aoi said as she spread her arms as a bolt of lightning struck her. “Now listen to me! Leave this body alone unless you want the full wrath of me, the azure dragon of the east, Seiryuu!” Aoi said in a masculine possessed voice as he eyes glowed a bright blue.

“I don’t know what you are trying but prepare to die!” Kanoichi shouted as she shoved the bladed end of the Kwandou staff into Aoi’s gut.

“I warned you not to mess with this body. Now you will face my wrath!” The voice said as a blue blast of energy shot through the blade and exited into the air. It then took the form of a dragon head and slammed into Kanoichi causing him to scream in pain as he was electrocuted from the inside out.

“Sounds like your friend is loosing!” Sakura said as she struggled to get up for the fifth time. She aimed her weapon at Jigokusan’s chest and fired only for him to quickly get behind her and place the scythe against her throat. She quickly closed her eyes and burst into flames, the fire spread back and surrounded Jigokusan, as this happened he quickly jumped back as the flames consumed his body.

“Young lady, you have proven your self a worthy adversary but I shall let you live this one time, however the next time we meet I will be stronger, and you shall die!”

“Kanoichi, retreat now! You must retreat before Seiryuu causes you to explode!” Jigokusan’s voice filled the air as he flew past Kanoichi and motioned at him. When he did this Kanoichi vanished in a puff of smoke and the dragon form returned to Aoi and proceeded to heal her.

“Why did you two retreat?”

“Master, we retreated because we feel that if we would of killed them at that point we would of died as well and the other two would probably have no opposition besides you personally.” Jigokusan said as he kneeled before his master’s throne.

“So you went for a fair fight, and left them live. You seem weak to me, but I agree that when the dragon possessed Kanoichi he had no other choice for survival.”

“So you will let us try again?”

“Not the two of you, but the one of you!”

“Li!” Aoi said as she woke up and ran over to Li who was kneeling near Sakura and Atsuki. Sakura has blood flowing from her sliced breasts and Atsuki had her in his arms.

“Aoi, you look good.” Li said as he noticed the Lady of Seiryuu had recovered.

“What happened to her?”

“She was involved in a fight against a stronger enemy but she won. However she was badly wounded and her aids flame isn’t helping to cauterize the wound.

“Then allow me to help.” Aoi said as she placed her hands over Sakura’s breasts and lightning shot from her hands to instantly heal the slices. “She needs to relax, and not exert to much energy or else the wounds will reopen.”

“Thanks.” Sakura said smiling at her new ally.

Now that each of the Blessed Four have met another they are beginning to form strong friendships but so far only Shizuru has tapped into the power to form armor around her. As the days progress this ability will become more and more important, especially with the Shadow plotting something to do with the invasion of earth!

Hmm, interesting fights. Fun Fact: I belive jigoku means hell, which would make sense with him being a reaper like character.

Thanks for the credit ^_^ . Those were a pair of great chapters, and the story is moving along nicely! i cannot wait to see where they end up next. Another note; that armor was awesome, but the bit about the Ramen? Oddly brilliant. Do the shadows actually smell like Ramen? Or was that Tenshi's perfume?
