I'm not sure on this, but I think there are 2 ways to get FCR: Get Forte's Icon in the GBA game, and put it into the DS's W-Slot, or get Forte's Icon in the DS game itself. :/ _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

The same way you get it in the GBA:
Fight the set locations of your team, then S-Rank them in a random location. Then head to Nebula Hole 6, and the doors should open. Wait at least 20 seconds before deleting the DS versions of your team. Then, you should be able to battle Forte. Defeat him, and you'll get ForteAnother F.
Then, the hardest part...find ForteXX in a random encounter. His stats:
ForteXX
HP: 4000
He has a near-impregnable DarkAura. His attacks are the same, but they've been upped to uber-powerful levels. His HP is the only thing I remember.
May the Sun Be With You when you battle him. :eyes: _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

my friend josh recently fought Forte XX and was telling me everything he did up to that point and it seems that the 300 bug frag trader thing to make bass appear form MMBN3 is baaaaaack. he had a crapload of bug frags because he just didn't trade any for chips and programs and was playing for about a month accumulating them. if anyone can confirm this, that would be greatly appreciated. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

I also find it quite usefull to compare the two teams to see which is better.
So far I found that colonel is better then protoman and searchman is better then numberman. Plus magnetman's charge shot is darn useful. |

I like Protoman more, since there's better navis like Napalmman, Gyroman, Protoman, etc.! :D _________________ Could you just STAY OUT this time, please!? -admin |

Gyroman?? ...Not to me. Shadowan is WAY better. His KawamariMagic is an excellent defense, and his KageBunshin No Jutsu Chip is awesome!! And OmniShoes and those homing shuriken are good, too. :D _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

I'm faced with a very tough descision right now. I'm trying to choose my perfect team for Blues in MMBN 5 DS DT. I have Blues with me, he's a given. I'm deciding wether or not to keep Searchman or use Magnetman. Which one should I choose?? :/ _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

Let's see.
Searchman has the Scope Gun, which almost always target the closest enemy. His main chip is the Satellite Ray, which targets a panel you choose without any control and fires at a cross range.
Outside of battle, Searchman can search the whole Dark Panel column and liberates all panels that are items or traps.
Magnetman has Magnet Missiles that can be used offensively or defensively. The magnets can either target the virus or navi, or have it get destroyed by an enemy attack, usually protects Magnetman (except Shockwaves and other attacks that go through the magnet).
Outside of battle, Magnetman protects everyone with the barrier, which costs 1 Order Point.
My decision is to keep Searchman, but it's up to you on whether your team need more defense or proceed to go offensive by cleaning out more Dark panels. |
