Wow. This thread has really gone to hell.
In a vain attempt to steer this thread back on topic, I'd like to point out AIRE. It's a project that effectively would intrinsically link our daily lives to the Internet, sans the Navis.
If this picks up, this could really make life simple, especially if portable organizers with intelligent interfaces dynamically generated by our general computing habits would become commonplace. Imagine never having to write down another date, appointment, or assignment again, because with speech and handwriting recognition and a fully computerized environment, everything relevent to you would automatically be downloaded to your organized. It's a dream come true for disorganized, lazy bums like me. |
