According to Jbooks, The Fullmetal Alchemist Premium Collection will be released March 29 for on 3990 yen. The DVD will include a movie originally screened at Universal Studios Japan (as part of an FMA themed ride), and three short OAVs. One of the three shorts will be a Gokurousama (Good Work Party) that will include all the characters from Conqueror of Shambala in chibi form. Details are not currently available for the other two OAVs.
The DVD will also include deleted scenes from the movie that weren't included when it was screened at Universal Studios Japan.
The first edition of the release will also include 2 limited edition illustration cards.

I want to watch the OVA, this will probably be the only thing I'll care for besides that one ep that was like three mini episodes revolving around Roy and his crew. |

Hmmm, I don't know if I'd get the DVD or not. Conqueror of Shambala was just okay if you ask me plot wise based on all of the sypnosis out there as well as a review from my friend. Well, part of the disappointment came from the rather high expection but there are some parts that rather annoy me.
I'm only assuming the movie included is FMA: Conquerer of Shambala since that is what seems to be implied. :] _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

i rather use my fma money on the money than on that dvd.
the anime had some very HILARIOUS moments, but totaly doesn't cope with the manga version. and since the manga version seems the MOST correct version to me since it written and drawn DIRECTLY by the author, i'll be sticking to the manga.
i'll be watching the anime but not spending money on it. |

From what I understand from Vic about the FMA Movie when I talked to him at church about 3 months ago, was that they were waiting to DUB the FMA movie but couldn't because some anime companys were fighting over the copyright. but since its been three months since I last asked him about the FMA movie its probably already dubbed... ^.^ I hope. I'll ask him when I see him this sunday (saw him last week but he was kinda in a rush)
but yeah the OVA looks funny. chibi Ed and Al XD

Interesting. I'll probably buy, being the FMA fanatic I am. It looks interesting, and my favorite FMA eps are the humorous ones (the train episode and the Roy and co. scrweing around episode for example). I'm waiting for a season box set to come out, as I don't want to buy the individual DVDs. >_> _________________

It isn't, actually. :3 It's a short film that was included at the Universal Studios Japan attraction, not the full Conquerer of Shambala itself.
As for the movie, part of what Xhunter said is correct. The copyrights are still up in the air, or so Mike McFarlane (the director) told us at Ohayocon last week. It is not yet dubbed and FUNimation does not hold ownership of the rights, although Mike said they certainly hoped to secure them soon. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

Keep waiting my friend, it's going to be a good while before a Season Box comes out, might probally be next year or even longer, they got 7 DVD's out up to episode 28, so yeah....do the math, plus a release a FMA DVD every 2 months.
I buy them, since they are only $20 at Best Buy or Wal-Mart _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Really? The difference the ten dollars makes. I know I'll be waiting a long time, maybe I should just buy the first four with my birthday money and then keep on going from there. I should've bought them as soon as they came out. >_> Oh well. _________________

I got that movie, and I have to say that the subtitling is terrible. It was so bad, that it even made the movie hard to follow at certain points. All the misspellings of names, grammatical errors, and odd sentence structuring were a pain. _________________
