Well, now that in Stream we get that "Asteroid Navi" incidents, maybe they can make things right again.
I mean, even though we saw Shouryu in the past, in the end he was a robot (and afterwards, possesed by Forte), and not that kid, Shun.
But now, and maybe with some luck, we might see him *this* time, IF Asteroid Freezeman ever shows up.
DonĀ“t you agree? _________________ Rafflesian's biggest fan! :D

I sincerely hope so. Shun is my #1 favorite character. It was disappointing not to see him as Shuryou, so I really hope he appears with Asteroid Freezeman. _________________

Well now im starting to think that its most lickly could happen. Since Freezeman would fit more for epesode 25 of stream but instead they used airman maby there saving him for shun. You never know but if freezeman gets deleted in his debut ep the shun might most lickly not apear again. Then theres the posiblity that freezemaqn survives in his debut ep along with shun. Asuming that they would be the bad guys they might try taking there cracks at rockman or after hte debut ep they will be good guys. Im preety sure shun will get freezeman now. |

Well Forte's robot suit probably got confiscated, I mean Shun could sneak in and steal it, and then impersonate that Gospel is returning, thus giving him his rightful position back. That's what I hope will happen if the writers were actually smart about it. |

Ehh, personally I think if Shun did appear with Freezeman, they'd both probably be a one-time deal. 'Sides, we already have a young boy with an icy Navi, even if he's not around much anymore. |

If the writers are smart enough, they'll make sure Shun has nothing whatsoever to do with Gospel except maybe revive the Multibug Organism. We don't need another Wily-behind-the-scenes arc. Maybe Duo can hand him Asteroid Freezeman and let him create havoc, but taking back Forte's used robot suit?

Wily is too busy playing neutral party in Stream to even try. I think the only reason Shun would even impersonate "the revival of Gospel" (holy crap that sounds corny) in an attempt to sound tough so people would not think of him as weak small child. Then again now that I think of it, seeing a "revived" WWW was enough craziness as is....
I might want to retract my previous statement. |

As much as I like, Shun Obihiro, I got a feeling that if Asteroid Freezeman did appear, he'd be stuck wth some run-of-mill kid. Why? Well, simply put, it's technically too late for Shun to be in the anime. The Gospel arc is long and gone, plus even if by chance he does get on the show, what role would he fill? I would think he's too important a character to just be a one episode wonder, and if he did join the cast, he'd probably be pushed aside along with poor Tohru. Of course it would be nice if could be a Net Saviour along with Netto, Laika, and Enzan, but I doubt if the anime would ever try to go in that direction.
So, I have my doubts about Shun being in Stream, but I guess we will just have to wait and see. Although it would be cool if they did a Gospel revival; actually I wouldn't mind if they went back and redid the whole show. =P _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

I know that Shun had Freezeman in BCC, however, I think that Tori might be the tv show version of Shun (who as you know is in the manga) because there are somethings that are only for the show and only for the comics (like the Flameman/Heatman thing).
But if Shun DID ever appear, I would want him to have Asteroid Forte (if Forte was deleted at some point) |

Newest member of Neo WWW! As we've seen with the current Neo members, Tesla can be pretty damn convincing when comes to getting those she sees promise in to joining her. Provided they would keep Shun's angsty past in, it would be very easy for Tesla to take advantage of brainwashing him further into joining her ranks. Don't rule him out because Gospel's done and gone. |

From what I gathered of Shun, he didn't strike me as a net battler. And even though he was the leader of Gospel, I don't think he would fit with asteroid Freezeman. Freezeman seems like the kind of navi that would be given to an adult, or at least a young adult, like Laika's age (Is his age ever given? 17-20 I'd say)
I've always thought that if ever Forte had an operator, Shun would be it. But I doubt Forte will ever be given an operator because it completely goes against his character. It would take a long time of character and plot development for Forte to consider teaming up with a human. So I doubt it'll happen.
Asteroid Forte? Remember what Forte said at the end of BN2? He would never allow a copy of himself! And I really don't think he's been deleted.
So basically, I don't know if Shun will show up in the anime, but I don't think he'll get Freezeman. But who knows? I may be wrong... _________________ Original name: blazequest |

I don't see Magnet Soul coming from Tesla's Magnetman, perhaps there's going to be an Asteroid Magnetman. That would be interesting. _________________

I think it would be kinda interesting in Shun and A Freezeman joined Neo WWW. I could imange the other members picking on him because he's a kid and Shun is actuly a genius that's smater than the rest of them. |

I don't think Shun would join Neo World Three. Remember, he hates everyone so I doubt he would trust Tesla. And even if he did join, he'd probably do so reluctantly only to leave shortly after.
I see Shun more along the lines of making a one-shot appearance. _________________

To be honest ZERO, the anime doesn't always follow those types of rules. Remember what happened with the Transmission Navis?
Anime-wise: Brightman, Starman and Needleman became villains and Swordman gained three interchangeable heads and split personalities. (Gravityman's personality however was intact.)
Game-wise: Bright and Needle were random stiffs that became infected but were never really classified as evil, Starman only worked for the Proffessor for the sake of fun and Zenny, and Swordman had no such personality thing.
So depending on whether the writers want to keep every piece of his personality intact or not, it can work either way with Shun. |

Its called the "Law of Equivelent Exchange". Each piece of the franchise (Anime, Magna, games, whatever) creates 'Equivelent' characters, but 'Exchanges' the circumstances for their needs.
Now if I only knew what "Equivelent Exchange" really was, I could get my own joke.
But anyway, I agree with AMZ, if Sean did show up, then it would probably be for a one shot deal. We've already got one forgotten about and ignored kid, we don't need another.
Although, I imagine that if Sean did show up in the Anime, he wouldn't have a Net Navi or if he did, it would be an off-stage presence like Dr. Hikari's Navi. Just because he had FreezeMan in BCC, doesn't mean that he would in the Anime (remember Anette?). _________________

The Law of Equivalent Exchange is from chemistry or other such scientific subjects. Basically, it states that to create something, something of equal, or greater value must be given up. So you see? "Equivalent Exchange?" They hark on this theory alot in Full Metal Alchemist. _________________ Original name: blazequest |

That's probably where he got that phrase. People have been tossing alot of FMA refferences around lately wherever I go. Not that that's a problem. Actually it is. It doesn't help me in keeping my mind off the video games because honestly, I may never play them. (Lack of PS2.) But enough about me rambling about FMA. What were we discussing again? Oh right Shun and A. Freezeman possibilities. |
