Sony is trying to make a better version of the PSP. Reason is because there's been so many glitches. One of them is if you press a cirten amount of buttons, the disk will fire out. Im not sure if they're gonna try to make the system less breakable, but all I know is that they're trying to make a better version. |

wait, if they're trying to make a better one NOW why didn't they do it earlier? Sony needs to think. |

DS is my favorite. I even saw a video of the disc coming out of their PSP while he was still playing! Like other's said, Playstation is just trying to steal the handheld gaming fame Nintendo deserves. And where was Sony when they tried to raise money for the Tsunami Fund! Three DS's raised about $30,000 (I think)! _________________

only $200 for you? man, all the places i see are over $300.....
damn currency.
so, the psp battery life sucks, what about the ds's, is it quality? |

Beyond that, they're also trying to take over handheld entertainment. That's why they make a big deal out of it's ability to play DVDs and MP3s. Nintendo on the other hand is focusing on the gaming factor. The touch sceen allows more new gaming concepts. I think this is where the PSP fails when it comes to gamers; there's nothing new to it compared to other handheld gaming devices.
I'm a true and blue NIntendo fan, so I am the owner of a DS. I haven' even had the thought of getting a PSP. I believe that a handheld gaming device should be just that: a handheld gaming device. |

Yeah, I'm a Nintendo fan too, but I'm also a MegaMan fan; in other words, if they made it so it could play Playstation/PS Two games, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Saves me the trouble of lugging my Playstation with me everywhere, just to play MegaMan Legends wherever I go. :D
I think the DS's battery life is Six hours with DS games and double that with others... I'm not sure though. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

Yes! Thats exactly what they said for the GameCube when everyone got the DVD player and all that extra crap. The DVD player is what made Playstation have bad graphics. And the Xbox is just a freaking computer! |

I heard they might make HALO for the DS! Microsoft will invest in Nintendo, and they'll destroy PSP! Muhuhaha! Seriously, it might be a true dream! I've seen a boxart picture on the net once, at the DSCentral Forums, but I can't go there anymore... T_T _________________

But I'm guessing Sony's going to fix that in later models. Just remember, when you see "Improved" on anything Sony says regarding the PSP, mentally cross it out and replace it with "No Longer Crappy". XD _________________ Math problems? Call 1-800-[(10x)(13i)^2]-[sin(xy)/2.362x]. |

Meh I prefer nether. But if i had to choose i'd chose the DS. Because if the cartrige thing pops out of the PSP, boom, the disk gets scratched and it's imposible to tell who the final boss is. While with the DS, if the cartrige pops out, your fine unless your near water or if someone step's on it _________________

As in somehow managing to fall right out in the middle of gameplay. >_>
Dangit, Sony, could you guys at least TEST a system before shipping it out? _________________ Math problems? Call 1-800-[(10x)(13i)^2]-[sin(xy)/2.362x]. |

That's right! Plus, you can keep the Game Cards in your pocket, with no harm done, but the disk is big, bulky, and needs a case to be protected. The DS also has a protective case thing...y. I'm not talking about the cases, the one's you put it in. No, this one you put on the DS. I have one, and is, unfortunately, to lazy to take the picture of it. I got it on Ebay. The rubber case even have finger grips! _________________

IF Halo does make it to X-Box, my views towards Microsoft will change! Not just because they're putting Halo in it, but to knock Sony off the console war. IMO Sony really sucks, they had a few good titles.
Brave Fencer Musashi, and some of the Final Fantasy series, the Megaman series of course(Even though I don't like the X series.) Most of the games you see on PS2 are multi-platform games anyways. You see Prince of Persia right? Well look how it is, I bet they had to tone down the graphics for the PS2 to actually play it. |

Sony is infamous for making very flimsy game systems. Would you belive a friend of mine went through 3 PS2s in almost as many years because it kept dying on him?
Let's take a look: PSP is more expensive, it looks really silly (reminds me of a Game Gear), it's built weaker, and the battery life is the pits. DS wins. By a mile.
What I find amusing is how alot of game magazines like EGM try and hype the PSP, making it seem like it's some sort of godsend, and acting as if the DS couldn't be more pathetic if it tryed, when in fact the complete opposite is the truth. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

They're doing baised decisions, because everyone thinks Sony is better because it has more mature games and all that crap when we have "Kiddy" games. Whats so kiddy about Super Smas Bros. Melee? Or Resident Evil 0, or TimeSplitters 2? Tales of Symphonia?
Tell me, what is "kiddy" exactly? That Nintendo is using there characters for fun stuff, like parties and games? That Nintendo characters don't use guns? They don't only attract little kids. They also draw grown, mature adults. |

I came so close to falling to Sony's evil plan. All the ads, pictures, it's all so tempting. It's almost like Mind Control! They stretch the truth, so far the rubber band should break, but they still fool people! DS fans, don't fall for their plan! _________________

I couldn't agree more, man. I love my DS (in a healthy way) and prefer it a ton over PSP. And I get EGM, and I personally think Sony is paying them to hype the thing. I can't name a single PSP game that I'd want. DS, however... that's quite a different story. I can name a ton of games I want for it. |

I'm getting the DS when the price drops, they put out more games(cause super mario 64 DS only has 150 stars), and put out the differnet colored systems(I never do get a normal colored handheld). |
