I'm just a beginer at this game so I wanna see other peoples characters and don't be afraid to give a few tips either.
P.S. My character is really weak since I haven't used it yet.

I <3 Warmages... all the benifits of a wizard and sorceror, without the disadvantage of being a wuss. It's a broken class XD
Personally, I never play humans... I prefer elves...
My best advice is to the read the PHB and learn it inside-out... D&D has a very steep learning curve, so read and learn the mechanics! _________________

Rouge? Hide, Stealth, and Backstab are your main friends, my suggestion is get lotsa darts or throwing daggers, or a light crossbow as getting into close range is not a good idea at such a low level. Out of curiousity, what edition are you playing and what region?
EDIT: on a side note is that also the pen and paper or the computer game? _________________ Insects, beware! Here comes Lan the Buginatah~!!

Megalan, you're dating yourself. Backstab went away after second edition. In third they kinda ruled "There's no behind in D&D" so they changed that to sneak attack. Basically, it works out better for the player.
Disable Device and Search are your best friends for out of combat. Bluff, tumble, and escape artist are your best friends in Combat. Tumble allows you to avoid attacks of opportunity when you move past an adjacent enemy. Escape artist is useful for grapples (Rogues don't do strenth, but your dexterity should be out the wazoo) And, if you make a bluff check and they fail the sense motive, you effectively make a combat feint, catch them flat footed, so you get sneak attack.
Some of my favorite Characters over the years (Yes, I take my character names from anime a lot).
Mohan, Human, 22nd level Rogue.
Hikari, Human, 12th level Monk
Capt. Darius "Quicksilver" McCloud. Swashbuckler 6/Dread Pirate 10
Hinoken, Human, 16th level Fighter.
Enjoy the game _________________ "There's Nothing I can't Burn"~Fireman.EXE

Ech that's right, and yeah, it is sneak attack now, but me and my friends all still call it backstab cause it's kinda what you do XD. It's your greatest tool and you can do it with any piercing weapon (Rapier, dagger, dart, crossbow bolt, etc. ) Oh and just remembering something all Rouges need for a feat, Flick of the Wrist, it makes the target flat-footed, it's not in the normal players handbook or the DM's guide either, wish I could remember where I saw it x_x
Oh and Enzan, my brother actually started me in on second edition when I was like 8...or 7, cause I remember him telling me I couldn't get upset if my character was killed off. Talk about living in the past XD _________________ Insects, beware! Here comes Lan the Buginatah~!!

Flick of the wrist was originally in Song and Silence, the rogue/bard specialty book. It got reprinted for 3.5 in The Complete Warrior. It's an OK feat. I don't remember what the deal was in 3rd edition, but the 3.5 only lets you use it once against a particular opponent for the entire combat. I, personally, would go with taking Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Kusari-gama or spiked chain, and combat reflexes. Gives you more attacks of opportunity in a round, and gives you a wider range for flanking. Pick up opportunist when you hit 13th level, (10th level is reserved for Improved Evasion) and then just have some fun _________________ "There's Nothing I can't Burn"~Fireman.EXE
