Regal Burger...?

I read somewhere that in Rockman.EXE Axess, Dr. Regal owned his own chain of restaurants known as... Regal Burger. Laughing

Is this true? I'm sorry, but the idea of a mad scientist/doctor/whatever owning a chain of fast food restaurants really amuses me.

Plus, it'd always be a good subject for fanart... Razz

Yes, when Shademan's destroying everything owned by Regal in Axess50, one of the places is Regal's Burger. However, not only was it misspelled (Barger), but it was cut out in the dub.

I sorry if that looked like spam, but I couldn't help it. This is new information. Anyway, I wonder what made Regal even start such a franchise, letting quit? I guess the science business wasn't paying the rent.

This is one of those of those cases where you don't quit your day job.

Regal is a relatively common name. Heck, even in real life, there are plenty of businesses with Regal in the name.

Regal Burger could be a subtle reference to Burger King, since "regal" more or less means "royal".

Actually, I read about it in another thread-- it was someone mentioning that it had been cut from the dub (a real shame... maybe the Engrish scared them XD)

Well, think about it. Regal had to finance all his ebil, ebil schemes some how. Plus, the public is a sucker for well marketed fast food.

Speaking of Regal Burger, are there places you've seen that has the name "Regal" around your area? I got one store with the name "Regal" in my area and it seems to be a chinese restaurant.
