I missed the season finalle but Avatar, in my opinion, is the best american cartoon i've seen ever. I can't belive i missed the season finalle, of course I was probably on line and forgot about it like usuall.

It'd be nice for the fans if this series did come out on DVD. I wouldn't buy it, but I'm still a casual fan of the showand do like to watch it. It's definitely one of the better American style animes, ranking right up there with Samurai Jack and Totally Spies. I agree that the acting leaves some to be desired and so does the animation at times, but from what I've seen so far, it's a great series with a good plot that manages to have its share of action and slapstick.

I finally caught the season finale, and yes, Avatar rules! Great episodes, and good foreshadowing too. The [spoil:cff166b731]facestealer[/spoil:cff166b731] was really cool, and I'm wondering if the monkey is the next elemental spirit. I think he is mastering Earth next, and the monkey could signify that.

Yeah, Aang's mastering Earth next. I read it on epguides.com. That's where I go for summaries of Xiaolin Showdown.

Does anyone know if Avatar was first shown in the Winter? Because then since he mastered Water=Winter, and if it is starting up again in Spring=Earth, etc.

Avatar is one of the better shows I've seen, and it surprised me to find out it was American. Or at the very least on Nickelodeon (sp?). I haven't been able to catch much of it, unfortunately, but I'm hoping to catch up eventually. I just have no idea when it comes on o_o;; I don't watch that channel much.

How could the Season 2 DVD come out in March if Season 2 hasn't even aired yet? It beings airing in March.

the volume 2 DVD comes in march, not season 2.

and has it already finished season 1 in the US? Here we're only on episode 11.
