I remember in the second season that Mr.Famouse contected Mr.Match useing Gateman, telling him that he could save torchman. If this is spam I am sorry ahead of time.

Meijin does have a Brown PET, Beast Spoilers: [spoil:f86ccd69e3]Gateman was a Zoan Navi, so Meijin COULD have Gate[/spoil:f86ccd69e3].

Punk would have a Pink/Red Navi so is unlikely. Movie Spoilers: [spoil:f86ccd69e3]The Kid in the intro of the Movie has Footman, so that is unlikely.[/spoil:f86ccd69e3]

The logical alternative is that Meijin has Kendoman, or a generic Navi. The fact he has a PET does suggest he has one, just that the Animators and Producers haven't seen a need to bring in his Navi.

I'll bet he just has a standard navi, or something, if he did/does it would explain why they never showed him with a navi, since the standard types I think are just there to perform the basic performances of a PET, and when battling are just dead weight

Gateman was never in the Second Sesson of the Rockman.Exe Anime. I have the episode your talking about (Episode 37) and know for a fact that it dose not show Gateman.

i thought it was that heatman was his navi & he gave it to hinoken? I havent seen the dubbed crimson flash, so Im sure it was in the subs that i read that heatman was meijins navi at first

Okay, with that out of the way...

I'm going to try to make an explanation:

In the Second Season of EXE, Meijin/Famous does carry his very own PET, and he had Heatman in it when he was eating at Maha Ichiban. I'm a bit rusty on the episode but I remember Meijin mentioning he 'made', Heatman, thus he was -his- Navi for a while.

Meijin merged Heatman with Fireman's data and Hinoken/Mr. Match kept him.

His other navis have never appeared as his own creations, he probably has one -or he has a sub pet like Dekao/Dex in EXE5; but isn't any of the 'customized' ones he's programmed in the games.

Spoilers for Beast ahead:

[spoil:b0f3068dac]Gateman has only appeared as a Zoanoroid, and so has Punk. Footman appeard in the movie and in Beast as a 'generic' Football Navi Player. The only one left for now is Kendouman, and so far no indication has been made about him being inside of Meijin's PET.[/spoil:b0f3068dac]

It's intimated in the Games at least that Navis are a default feature of PETs and operate them. Yes, you are right in that PETs do not technicallt require a Navi to operate (EXE 3 Ending for reference) but, considering Manabe and Meijin's positions and line of work I find it unlikely they would not have one.

I did also state that Meijin could have a default Navi. As for the Purple Advance PET, my memory is shakey, I watched the dub and have neither the dub or raws/subs in Digital or Hard Copy forms, so I'm liable to forget or miss things. Especially if they're a once of occurence which isn't very notable at the time.
