Runescape!

Ok i've played runescape before and quite frankly, I happen to think it's quite bad. Now instead of just ranting in an incomprehensible style, i'll just speak my mind about why i don't like it. Well as many have said, Jagex doesn't seem to care about free players, also the graphics are sickeningly bad and yes i know its a java game but they are still horrible graphics. Now for the equipment, not very creative, they just took a few types of weapons and just added a different beggining to their name: bronze sword>iron sword etc, I don't know what the order is but that's not important. Now the most annoying thing i saw in it was travel, gah...that was painful as the quests often made you either A. travel all the way across the map 5 times or B. go through an army of impossibly tough creatures for your level just to reach their weak boss. The training, I kind of liked how you needed so many facets to be good, but seriously who wants to train more than 13 skills to max especially since it takes so long? Oh and here's the funniest thing, let me type up a little common runescape conversation between a guy and girl and yes i've seen this happen many times:
Guy: hi
Girl: hi ^^
Guy: are you really a girl?!!?!?!?
Girl: um...yes...
Guy: OMG!!!!111ELEVEN!! WE SHOULD TOTALLY GET MARRIED/MAKE OUT/HAVE SEX!!!111

yes its very sad...
And the two main things that made me leave the game (other than boredom) was Runescape's two pasttimes, Scamming and Hacking, disgraceful.

Now some people may say i'm being mean about this but i just had to get my opinion out and if this offended you...well don't think about it too much because after this i'm going to leave this thread behind. And as my final words, take a look at Runescape's name a little closer:
Run!
Escape!

Remember this is just my opinion and yes i have seen these thing happen.

Geepers! Runescape...this is a hell that Lucifer ever trampled!

Runescape...dissect this thing...you get, as one of our dudes say, Run! Escape!

This game is a big online hell for me...They took out the shorts from the girls (I miss one of my female characters that wears shorts especially Hitomi_K). I want that shorts model back!

Another thing, I'd rather play Korean MMORPGs than this thing. Anyway, Jagex is such a lame army of lazy abominations...

Time to hop in RF Online America or RF Online Philippines instead!

This one needs more weapons like:

Katana, Blade, Falchion, Spears, Two-hand axes, Zweihanders, Double Swords, Double Knives, Cutter, Stileto, Sword Breakers and even add more armors and feats!

BTW: My Hatsuya Blue is actually a Level 23 Prayer Warrior (Warrior that depends on prayers)!

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with Runescape, but I know a bunch of people who hate it, and insult its players. My little cousin plays it, so I guess it must be alright. WOW and Diablo 2 are probably better though. At least in graphics.

I did, but I ended up with some item called a "Mystery Box", I assume it was a virus planted by another player, since it only multiplied and I could'nt get rid of it, it also "infected" my other items and turned them into mystery boxs.

This one PKer(player killer) lured me into the woods(forget what they were called). He did'nt exactly lure me, I paid him 700 gold to help me cross thru, but he killed me inside, and ended up with the box.

A few days later he chased me down in the Plaza, and started cursing me because of the box, and how he lost all his rare items because it infected them and turned them into more boxes, I just laughed.

My brother loves it. he made like $100 NZD from it. :D

If that box was given to you by a "Mysterious Old Man" ( As they are called on some Runescape fan sites) they you have to open the box and answer questions about the box ( What symbols are on it, what color are the symbols, etc.) and you get a special item from it.

I know that it will eventually multiply to fill up your inventory, but I don't think it's suppose to turn other items into boxes. Maybe that was a glitch in the game. Did you even bother to report that? Confused

I think it was a bug. I check on almost every Runescape fan site I know, and when they described the Mysterious Box, it said aboutlutely nothing about turning your other items into boxes; just multipling to fill your inventory.

I wonder if someone hacked into the system and change the boxes somehow... :O

That's for prople who cannot seperate RS from reality. Everybody has different opinions, and like many other people, there are thoughts of good and bad. or just average. Some people play this to pass the time......
