Rockman.exe 4 Help Topic

Today at midnight I entered blackearth2, kicked the DS navi's ass, and defeated the darksoul, 1 question, I need a pretty decent folder to defeat forteSP (I went to it for a "preview" on a [R word] and he kicks ass! So I need a good balanced idea for him (just enough to get the symbol).

Anyway, whatever you do, I highly recommend you to put a fstgauge in your folder, so you won't be left with only Rock Buster when it's still around 10 seconds left until the custom gauge fills.

Are you playing Red Sun or Blue Moon, anyway? Either way, if you play Blue Moon, put 4 Life Sword in your folder. This way, if you don't get the combination right, you still can deal a pretty high damage using Blues Soul then charge swords.

Red Sun? Even better. Put a lot of Invis chips, then Soul Unison Search Soul. Put Life Sword in, and use the Shuffle ability to get the combination fast. 1600 damage is a pretty good deal.

Also, if you got Zennys, go buy another stack of Pile Driver. if you did the PA twice correctly, it deals 1600 damage.

And last, if you can't dodge his attacks, (I can barely dodge his buster. XP) put as many HP+s as you can. Also, if you want, put HolyPanels or Sanctuary and a Life Aura in. If you got lucked out, use them both, and everything except Darkness Overload and Hell Rolling can't deal a scratch on you.

Summary: If you are like me, PA all the way. It's the only part of EXE 4 pwning EXE 5. Or, if you want to, put crazy attacks like Hockeys and preset area grabs. Either way, Forte SP is pretty easy once you kill him enough.

Yes. Seeing as there is NO restriction on PA usage in that game, it is best to use the PAs to the utmost. Stick with 4 LifeSwords, and since there is a random FS effect at full karma, the x2 multiplier may come in VERY handy.

Of course, if you are looking for cheese, just spam PitHockey3 until he goes pop. Seriously, that PA was rather broken in that game...

I beat him today with a lucky pull and talking in the phone at the same time.

Sanctuary + DreamAura + SearchSoul's charge shot = Helps ALOT

I Shuffled my way into getting hockey chips, I managed to use metagel and get in the other turn the pithockey3 P.A. (That little space and advance was AWESOME!) He left me with 1 hp, I used Guardian, and he hit it, then I finished off with a GunDelSolEX.

This fight was DIFFICULT, note that he doesn't even have a Fastgauge* (he has an "U") Something came to my mind, could I have beaten himm to with poison pharaoh? The same way I beat (thanks to some peple here) ForteSP in EXE3?

True. In order for a PoisonPhar to do its utmost, it must be placed in the back rank, on any square. Otherwise, be prepared to use a lot of Repair chips, which eat room and take it from other, more deserving chips tha actually deal damage.

I'm sure Pyo could give it a shot--after all, he seems to have a liking to that sort of strategy in gameplay...

Anyhow, Fastgauge* can be obtained in IN-Battle GMD in Black Earth1/2.

Can anyone tell me how to get a Bug Chain *? All we have is a C and I don't know how my friend got it and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is this one of those chips you fight someone without beaking the GMD?

Yes it is, in fact. You must be on Run 3 or later, and you can find it in an IBGMD in the BlackEarth Area. Even if you cannot grab it on the first try, keep going--the rewards down there are fabulous.

Were at game 4 or 5 and I gave him access to Back Earth so I need to do some busting (as long as I don't have to fight some shadow navis i'm ok) and yes even the field's GMD are wonders *coughDSchipscough*

I think they might be in the in-battle GMD's in Black Earth.

Also, I have BordParts, HetParts and WingPart but the orange navi in Sharo won't make me the C-Slider. I'm right before Duo in game 4.

To Mr. Chou--Go to the slider right before the entrance to the Undernet, and talk to the navi there. After that, head on back to the Slider Master and she shall construct it for you.

You were rigth Mr_Chou, it was in Black Earth 2 in a GMD batling a TarkEX and FelonyEX; it was pretty hard to obtain it because it can give you Bug Chain * or 5 bug frags or TimeBomb J .

And I used the PA on Forte Laughing

Btw. can someone tell me a good strategy to beat shademan (and/or metalman)under 10 sec.??

My courrent record for shademan is 11:48

Seeing as how your time is 0:11:48, all you must do is shave a second and a half off of your time. I'd say, given this margin, to stick with whatever strategy that you have.

However, consider this--there is a DEFINITE window that you must defeat Shademan in. Given that you use FastGauge (and there is no reason NOT to in this case), ten seconds corresponds to just under two and a half turns. Obviously, a FullCust gives you one bonus turn, but it only works to its effective maximum when you are simply using it to discard chips, or setting up one final assault. Either way, use it as early as possible in a turn.

The rest is up to a godly draw. I recall beating him in just under seven seconds by breaking him apart and using a FS'd Meteors on him.

Oh god, this is something that has been addressed TOO MANY times in this thread already...but I digress.

DreamSword. Invis. Gunsols. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

NEVER form Piledriver, as you can make MUCH more out of the Gunsols separately.

Hell, a simple buster can do. He telegraphs all of his attacks far ahead of time, so you have adequate time to dodge and unload charged shot after charged shot on him.
