To answer your question Goten8905, I would suggest to pick up the six Structure Decks. These are based on certain themes and feature some of the staple cards seen in my decks along with other cards that help towards the theme. The six decks are:

1. Dragon's Roar
2. Zombie Madness
3. Blaze of Destruction
4. Fury From the Deep
5. Warrior's Triumph
6. Judgment of Spellcasters

If you're looking for boosters packs, the reprint sets are what you should be looking at. Dark Beginning 1 amd 2, Dark Revalation 1 and to a very less extent Dark Revalation 2 feature the cards from the older sets up to the end of Ancient Sanctuary with many of them having been reduced in rarity in order to make the cards easier to obatin. DB2 also features many of the Tournament Pack cards in it. I should note that Dark Revalation 2 is hard to find as this one wasn't released in many quantities and only certain stores carry this set.

Could you please tell me the effects of those cards? I have a really faulty deck, but I somehow beat people.

The staple spell cards that people use are Snatch Steal, Premature Burial, Smashing Ground, Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, Swords of Revealing Light, and a few others. For traps, Call of the Haunted, Torrential Tribute, Sakurestu Armor, Bottomless Trap Hole, and Widespread Ruin come to mind as being used the most. Monsters that are used the most include D.D. Assailant, D.D Warrior Lady, Exiled Force, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Mobius the Frost Monarch, Cyber Dragon, and Mystic Swordsman Lv2 among others.

Many of these cards are seen as being one for one trade-offs as hand management is important in this current format and that they are run in most decks that revolve around the term "cookie cutter". They also provide a strong field presence and are annoying to go up against. Granted I use a number of these cards myself but not all of them. I also use some of them in the deck that they were meant to be played in.

Let's just say that this format relies upon a lot of monster removal via the one on one cards and that monsters won't be on the field for very long.

Buy Elemental Energy, Cybernetic Revolution, and Shadows of Infinity (once it comes out in March). These sets are recent and have great monsters and spells. Cyber Dragon is in Cybernetic Rev. as are all its fusions. I suggest building a deck using those cards, as Cyber Dragon is an amazing monster. A five-star that can special-summon itself when you have no monsters and the opponent has at least one on the field.

Alright, cool, cool. That sounds promising. Any other cards you recommend? I need levels, effects, attacks and everything.

I went to the SOI preview and got everything I'd wanted (not from the set, but traded well!). I pulled a Raviel, and some middle-aged guy traded me a whole lot of cards, and cash for it. Too bad the cards he traded werent that great. But the promo was. Ancient Lamp is so good! Anyone running La Djinn should definately look into this, as It will be in a Shonen Jump some time soon. It is a 4* 900/1400 dark spellcaster that can redirect an opponent's attack to a different opponent's monster when attacked in F/D defense-mode. And while face-up you can special summon La Djinn from your hand. I give it an 8 out of 10.

My favorite card from the new set is Lord of Striking Thunder Hamon (Coolest Demon Emperor!). Stats are as follows; (I forgot the stats so I'll guess)
light
8*
Thunder type
4000/4000
Can only be special summoned by sacrificing 3 continuous spells on your side of the field. When it destroys an opponent's monster and sends it to the grave deal 1000 LP damage to them. While in face-up defense it is the only thing the opponents can attack!
I'd say it was the Serenade of YG-oh!

i want that card but i think Uria is rarer only 2 people at the preveiw got it including me (i feel special lol), but some of these new cards are awesome like saber beetle and chainsaw insect, and even doom dozer lol.

the only annoying thing about haveing Uria is that everybody keeps asking for a trade or asked me to sell kit. lol Laughing

Uria is the 1st card in the set, so it's a bit rarer. I had it at one point on Saturday, but didn't love it. Works in so few decks, but is good alongside Hamon. Two words for their meeting of the minds... Destiny Board. Continuos spells? Check. Continuous trap, check! But Striking Thunder is so much cooler to say than Searing Flames or Lord of Phantasms!

Another great card is Next to Be Lost. I cannot wait to use that card in a deck once I get more of it, and three Inferno Reckless Summon. I need to buy Manjyome (Chazz *shivers*) packs. He has good stuff.
NTBLost is a trappy that lets you discard a monster from your deck if it has the same name as one of your monsters on the field. Good in combo with Inferno Reckless Summon and another card in the set. Also insane in an E-Hero deck or a Dragon's Mirror deck. Or a Bazoo/Return From D.D. deck. It combos well with Miracle Fusion!
Another pick in the set is its twin star- Generation Change.
That trap lets you destroy one of your own monsters on your side of the field to fetch another copy from your deck and add it to your hand! Good for getting the real Cyber Dragon off of the Proto-Cyber Dragon (henceforth referred to as Blues). Haven't tested either out seriously, but I'll post my Cyber Dragon deck a little later and see what everyone thinks.
Kay?
