CH 9. Blessed Conference and the Plot of Darkness.


“Sakura!” Aoi and Atsuki shouted as Sakura ran ahead into the city that they approached.

“Does she always run ahead?” Li asked as he watched Sakura run off.

“NO, maybe she is just exited to see a city again, I mean we have been training in the wild, and walking for approximately 5 days.” Atsuki said as they entered the city limits of Kyoto.

“Well were exactly are we headed?” Aoi questioned looking around at the buildings. This wasn’t like Tokyo, not even close, there was way more traditional buildings.

“We need to find the gate.” Li said as he turned to look for any signs of the other two Blessed Ones.

“Genbu, and Byakko have not yet arrived I take it. After all I see no gate.” Atsuki said as he sat down not far from where they entered town.

“Tenshi, Shizuru, slow down and pay attention!” Ryoko shouted as she and Misato chased after them.

“We don’t have much further to go do we?” Tenshi asked as she stopped in front of Misato.

“We, need to take our time and conserve our energy, we don’t know when the others will get there.” Ryoko said as they slowly made there way to Kyoto.

“Lets just hurry up and get there, that way we can sit and wait!” Misato said as they continued their walk.

“Sakura do you sense that?” Atsuki asked as he paced back and forth in front of Sakura.

“I think so.”

“I believe those two energy wave lengths that I am sensing are that of Genbu and Byakko.”

“Atsuki, do you mean they are here?” Aoi asked as she stretched.

“Indeed.”

“So what do they look like?”

“Aoi, you should know that we don’t know what they look like, only that they are traveling together, so we need to look for a group of four people.”

“Li, I was just joking.”

“This is the time to joke around!” Li said as he looked around.

“So Ryoko, where exactly are we going here?”

“Tenshi, the gate can only be opened when all four are in place.”

“So! That doesn’t help any.”
“So how about we just focus on locating the others so we can get our meeting started.” Shizuru said as she ran ahead towards the center of the town, literally running into Sakura.

“Watch were you are walking!” Sakura said as she helped Shizuru to her feet.

“Sorry, my name is Ikari Shizuru.” Shizuru said as she introduced herself.

“Nice to meet you I am Hikari, Sakura.” Sakura said as she introduced herself with a smile on her face.

“Sakura do you know who this person is?” Atsuki asked as he stared at Shizuru’s chest.

“No, should I?”

“Yes you should, your markings are reacting to each other. She is the Lady of Byakko.” Atsuki said as he pointed at the white light that was emanating from Shizuru’s chest.

“And you are?” Shizuru asked with an odd look on her face.

“I am Atsuki, aid of Suzaku, that is the Lady of Suzaku. Then this is the aid of Seiryuu Li, and the Lady of Seiryuu, Aoi.” Atsuki said as he introduced everyone by title.

“Shizuru, there you are!” Tenshi said as she caught up to Shizuru.

“I take it you are the Lady of Genbu.” Aoi said looking at Tenshi’s forehead, which was giving off a faint black light.

“Yes I am, and obviously you are the Lady of Seiryuu, So I take it we are all here for the same reason.” Tenshi said staring at her right hand which was covered in a light blue glow.

“Misato, Ryoko! Nice to see the two of you face to face.” Atsuki said as he noticed the two aids approach.

“The Blessed Four are together! We cant defeat them now!” A tall shadow said as he kneeled before his master’s throne.

“We will send possessors down. Once the Blessed Ones leave this realm to start there training they will not be aware of anything happening on the physical plane.” The master said with a maniacal laugh.

“So we are going to be creating Shadar?”

“Yes we will. But by time they realize we should have a large enough army of new Shadar.”

“So in other words the Shadar that we currently have are outdated?”

“No that is not the case, our Shadar are not accustomed to the environments of this planet which makes them weaker than they should be. There for by making new Shadar.”

“They will be stronger!”

“Exactly. However the problem will be getting the Shadar. Usually we use the Shadows of our fallen enemies, but this time I think we should make physical Shadar.”

“So we are going to use live humans to make warriors?”

“Yes in addition to the army we already have the new Shadar will be stronger than any created before, and harder to kill for if they are truly killed then the bodies will also die.”

“Welcome to the Blessed Chamber.” Atsuki said as he walked around the room that they were now in. They had just been standing together in a circle earlier, then they were teleported to a different realm.

“So were on Earth are we?”

“Tenshi, we aren’t on Earth, we are in a parallel realm. The only problem is if the Shadow try anything we wont know.” Ryoko said as she sat at a large table in the center of the room.

“You are telling at us that this meeting is leaving Earth defenseless?” Aoi shouted.

“Yes, except for those that can protect themselves from the Shadow that is.” Li said as he walked over to take his seat at the table, followed by everyone else.

“Time to feast my pets!” a voice shouted as the tall Shadow appeared on the ground and started to send little black fly, like Shadows at the people who were walking around. The flies attached to peoples shadows and the Shadow then consumed the living body, making everyone that touched one of these flies turn into Shadow Warriors.

“Now my Shadar, we will take this planet over with very little resistance!”

I liked this chapter a little more than your last. The characters seemed more true to themselves, and there were funny parts. The dialogue seemed to flow a lot smoother than previous chapters, and this "Shadar" thing intrigues me... I can't wait to read the next chapter !

This chapter took me like 2 weeks to type, because I started it then stopped for a while and just now finished it. I am surprised that it flowed so well.
