A MegaMan/Zelda crossover! The plot is interesting, and might I just say that you write excellent cliffhanhgers? :] I'll be waiting for the next chapter! ( Hm, I wonder what the secrets of the Lost Cathedral are...)

New chapter, new character who acts similar to Iris.

Chapter 08:Sakura

Rakuen put his hands together and a spinning, vortex-like thing appeared. It shot a whirlwind of flames out at Vaati Reborn, knocking him back. Than he leapt forward, and as he was flying through the air, he put his hand into the ground, causing a wave of rocks to fly up and ensnare Vaati Reborn. Rakuen leapt up and stood on an outcropping of the rock prison.

"Hmm...you'd think the light force would have had more effect on this boy." Rakuen said.

Than he plunged his fist into Vaati Reborn's head, and withdrew the light force as a glowing ball. Vaati Reborn returned to normal, and he fell to the ground.

"Quickly, get him to safety!" Netto said.

Rockman and Link all plugged out with Vaati. Rakuen faced Shockman.

"Why don't you scurry along, rodent, before I have to bloody my hands with you?" He said.

"Meh. I've had enough excitement for today, mate." Shockman said, plugging out.

Vaati was in the real world again, back to normal and knocked out.

"Whew...the weapon saved him..." Netto said.

"Rakuen, can you reseal the Forsaken Sanctuary?" Yuiichiro asked.

"Sure. This place is annoying me, anyways." Rakuen said. And with a quick hand wave, SciLab's HP returned.

Vaati coughed and his eyes slowly opened.

"Hey...guys..." He said. "Sorry...I did bad things, didn't I?"

Netto closed his eyes to prevent himself from crying.

"No. It's fine, Vaati." He said.

Throughout this whole event, a young girl who was in another room was watching them through a window. She looked no older than 8. She had blue hair that went down to her back, and bright blue eyes that seemed to stare into your soul. Oddly enough, she was wearing a red kimono with golden flower designs all over it. No one seemed to notice her presence. Mostly, she was staring at Netto.

"Hikari-kun..." She said. Than, she walked away and seemed to vanish.

"By the way, Dad...what were the secrets of the Forsaken Sanctuary?" Netto asked.

"Well, if Shockman was right about it being an exact copy of Lost Cathedral, it would have a digital version of a cursed sword that, eons ago, caused endless warfare. Millions of people died trying to obtain or destroy it." Yuiichiro replied.

"If Black Reign got their hands on power like that..." Link said, and didn't need to finish his sentence, as everyone knew what would happen.

"Alright, I'll get SciLab to work on putting maximum security on Forsaken Sanctuary's seal. You guys should all go home." He said.

2 days later...

Vaati had made a full recovery, and everything seemed back to normal.

"What is the point of this show?" Vaati asked about the current episode of Family Guy that Netto was watching with him.

"It's mostly sick comedy.'' Netto said.

"But I don't get how that dog named Brian can talk." Vaati said.

"...You take things too seriously, Vaati." Netto said.

Suddenly, the phone rang.

"I got it, since you're too lazy to get your ass up." Fuyuki said, walking to the phone.

"Hello? Oh, hi Dad. Hmm...wha...really? Oh, cool! Alright, I'll tell them." He said, and hung up.

"Dad said he may have found an area of the Net directly linked to Vaati and Link's world." Fuyuki said.

"What?!?" Netto said.

Vaati just stared, surprised.

"Let's go, I wanna see this!" Starman said.

"Basically, Forsaken Sanctuary made most of our team wonder about what other secrets the Net could hold. So we had Rakuen investigate just about every single part of the Net. He found something near the end of the Undernet, a strange portal-like object called the Hyrule Gate. It required three keys to open. We don't know about the three keys, Rakuen is doing another trek around the Net to see if he can dig up any info." Yuiichiro explained.

"We'll look too! I wanna see their world!" Netto said.

"Yeah, from what Link told me, Hyrule sounds like a cool place." Fuyuki said.

"It is. It's very amazing, and although it's not as advanced as your world, it's still an awesome place." Link said.

"Maybe since it's an alternate reality, we can appear in Hyrule's reality." Rockman suggested.

"Heh, that'd be awesome." Starman said.

Vaati remained quiet.

"...I don't want to go back to Hyrule." He said.

Everyone looked at him, shocked. "But...why?!?" Link asked.

"You know as well as any Hylian, Link, that I can't return...they hate me. They won't forgive me for my mistakes..." Vaati said.

Netto put his hand on Vaati's shoulder. "We'll help convince them that you're innocent! I don't know what happened over there, but you're not a bad person, Vaati. We'll do what it takes to help you!" Netto said, smiling.

Fuyuki smiled and added "Exactly. You're our friend, man. We're not gonna let them do shit to you, and we're gonna make sure you're forgiven."

"And we're here for you, too!" Rockman and Starman said.

"See, Vaati? We'll all make it so you can return to Hyrule without fear!" Link said.

Vaati looked up at everyone, his eyes watery.

"Guys...thank you." He said.

Than he plunged his head into Netto's chest, sobbing tears of gratitude. Later, when everything calmed down, Everyone decided to go for a walk around SciLab alone. Netto was walking down a hallway, leading to the BattleChip and Navi testing labs when he heard someone behind him. He turned to see the girl in the red kimono.

"Hikari-kun..." She said.

"Uh...hello!" Netto said, turning to face her.

"Do I know you?"

The girl shook her head.

"Who are you?" Netto asked.

"...Sakura..." The girl said.

"Well, um...pleased to meet you, Sakura." Netto said.

Sakura looked directly at Netto.

"...You're looking for the three keys to open the Hyrule gate, correct?" Sakura said.

Netto's eyes widened.

"How did you know?" He asked.

"...I just do..." Sakura said.

"Do you wish to know the location of the three keys?"

Netto replied "Sure."

"The three keys are in old computers in three seperate regions. Takai Mountain, Bloody Forest, and the Tower of Babel."

"Thanks, Sakura." Netto said, smiling.

"May I see your PET?" Sakura asked.

"Uh...sure." Netto said, handing it to her.

"Rockman...hello." Sakura said to Rockman before the blue navi could speak.

"I'm going to enter some data, so don't worry." She said, and entered it.

Sakura handed the PET back to Netto. Netto was about to thank Sakura when he heard a small clang. Netto turned to see what happened, but all that had happened was a folding chair fell over.

"Oh. Thank you Sakur..." Netto said, but stopped when he had turned back.

Sakura had vanished.

"Huh? Where did she...oh well. Rockman, what data did she input?" Netto asked.

"Wow...she put the coordinates of Takai Mountain, Bloody Forest, and the Tower of Babel into the PET's map." Rockman said.

"C'mon, lets go back and tell the others." Netto said.

Wow...great work, CFS. But the Tower of Babel sounds a lot like the Tower of Babylon in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Meh. Glad to see you've joined us again, CFS. ^_^

Actually, the twoer of Babel is the one from Final Fantasy IV. But they aren't going there first. Oh yeah, there's a tribute to your fic in this chapter.

Chapter 09:Deep Within the Bloody Forest.

"Heh, thank you, Yuiichiro." Lavis said, plugging out his navi.

"He's VERY much improved." Lavis added, smiling.

Rakuen said from the SciLab HP "Yeah, he made me work up a sweat, there!"

"I'm glad you like the improvements." Yuiichiro said.

Netto walked into the room. "Oh, hey Lavis!" He said.

"Hi, Netto." Lavis replied.

"They fixed Dark up for you?" Netto asked.

"Sorta. He's not Dark any longer." Lavis's new navi appeared in the I-pet's hologram feature.

"Hey. My name's Kokoro, Lavis's personal navi, basically a new version of Dark." He said.

Kokoro had a mostly black body, with black blade-like shoulders with dark purple edges. His left hand was a black glove, and his right hand was a large Dark Sword, only much sleeker than normal. His boots were black, and he had a black helmet, with two large fins and two smaller fins under it. He had white skin, and eyes that were yellow with ocean-blue pupils. A tattered, purple cape hung down from his back.

"Wow...you look VERY different!" Netto said.

"Oh, before I forget, I have to tell you guys something." He added.

"I met this little girl in the hallway, named Sakura. Somehow, she knew we were looking for the keys, and she gave me the coordinates to their locations."

Everyone stared, amazed.

"Than what the hell are we waiting for?!?" Fuyuki said.

30 minutes later...

Everyone was flying to the first location, the Bloody Forest, via a SciLab Helicopter.

"We're here!" Charlie, who happened to be the pilot, said.

He let them all down at the forest entrance.

After they all got out, Netto said "Why is it called Bloody Forest? It looks normal..."

They entered, and Netto quickly saw why. Inside, the forest was so thick that almost no sunlight got through, and, sickenly enough, several disembered body parts, both human and animal, layed around the grounds, and blood was everywhere.

"That answer your question?" Fuyuki said.

Vaati and Link shuddered.

"I'm calling for more help, maybe we should head around in groups." Lavis said, and called up Dingo, Iris, Enzan, Laika, and Katya.

Within moments they arrived.

"Alright, I got it. Group 1 will be Netto and Katya. Group 2 will be Fuyuki and Iris. Group 3 is Link and Vaati, Group 4 will be Enzan and Laika. And the last group shall be me and Dingo. Everyone okay with this?" Lavis said.

Everyone agreed, and split up.

Netto and Katya were heading through one part of the forest.

"Man, this place creeps me out." Netto said.

"Eew, I think that's a leg down there." Katya said.

"Why the hell would a computer be here?" Netto asked.

Both of them heard a strange noise coming from a bush. They checked in the bush and saw a wolf tearing apart a carcass. It saw them, and growled. With blood dripping down it's mouth and hatred in it's eyes, it was more than enough to freak the two of them out.

"RUN LIKE HELL!!!" Katya shouted, and they ran in the other direction.

"...So then, I had Tomahawkman kick the other navi's ass, giving me a total of 1000 straight wins!" Dingo said.

"Impressive. If we were somewhere a little less bloody and more civilized, I'd break that record of yours." Lavis said.

"Heh, yeah right!" Dingo said before he tripped.

"Ow..."

Lavis helped Dingo up.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, all I tripped over was a..."

Dingo looked at what he tripped over.

"...decapitated body." He finished, disgusted.

"That's disgusting." Lavis said.

"What the hell happened to this place, anyways?" Dingo asked.

"Well, I heard a story about it before. This used to be a normal forest, until one day a prisoner broke free from jail and took shelter here. He made a hideout and murdered anyone who he caught stepping foot into the woods to ensure he was never found. They say he killed so many people, their blood seeped into the ground and caused the forest to become this place, and that the body parts we see lying around are the victims of the prisoner." Lavis said.

Dingo made a sickish face, and than said "Excuse me while I hurl my guts out."

He walked off behind a tree, leaving Lavis to listen to the noises of retching and gagging.

"Let's hurry on, I wanna get outta here." Dingo said after walking back.

Enzan and Laika had stopped for a rest and were sitting on tree stumps, telling horror stories about their experiences with fangirls.

"But the scariest is this one time, in Amerroupe..." Laika said.

"Yes...?" Enzan asked.

"I was ambushed by a mob of fangirls..." Laika said.

Enzan was biting his nails.

"I ran into a hotel, but they busted down the door. I had to hide in the attic, but one of them got up there. I had no other options, so I took a rock..." Laika said.

"Oh, no!" Enzan said.

"...and I smashed the case for the fire extinguisher, and I had to spray her with it! The whole can!!! But even that wouldn't stop her! The fangirlism is so strong, it would haunt me in death!" Laika said.

Enzan screamed like a little girl.

"That's so scary!" He said.

Both of them heard a twig snap, and they jumped.

"Let's hurry on, they could be watching us now!" Laika said, and they moved on.

Meanwhile, Fuyuki and Iris had gotten into a part of the forest so dense that the trees formed web-like tunnels and structures they had to weave through.

"Iris, jump!" Fuyuki shouted.

Iris leapt down and Fuyuki caught her.

"Damn, this place is messed up." He said.

"Uh...Fuyuki?" Iris said.

"Yeah?"

"We should start running."

"Why?"

"Look behind you...!"

Fuyuki looked behind him and saw a giant black widow spider about to close in on him. He withdrew a knife from his pocket and tossed it into the spider's head, causing it to screech in pain.

"Let's run while it's distracted!" Fuyuki said.

As they ran away from the spider, Fuyuki said "Good thing I always carry a knife with me, huh?"

Iris nodded and said "Indeed, we might've died if not for the knife. That's a good habit of yours."

Fuyuki smiled and thought Hopefully this means I'm gonna have a chance at taking her out later.

Meanwhile, Link and Vaati were fighting off disembered zombies.

"Looks like Hyrule's not the only place with zombie problems." Link said.

"Yeah." Vaati agreed.

When they finished them off, both proceeded forward down a path. It ended into a clearing of the forest with no trees, so sunlight poured down on them.

"Ahh, it's so good to see the sun again." Link said.

"Yeah. I thought we'd never see it."

Vaati than noticed a small laptop computer.

"I guess that's where the Hylian Key is." He said, and plugged into
it.

"Found anything?" Link asked a few seconds later.

Vaati plugged out with the key in hand.

"Got it." He said, smiling.

Suddenly, the whole forest rumbled.

"I don't like the sound of that." Link said. Vaati pulled out a walkie-talkie given to him by Netto just before they left.

"Netto, tell everyone to meet us at the entrance! We got the key!" He said.

Moments later, the teams met at the entrance.

"Why's everything shaking?!?" Dingo asked.

"I don't know, let's get out of here before something happens from that shaking!" Link said.

But when they turned to the exit, they saw several body parts floating up all together, and forming a giant body. Eventually, all the dead body parts had fused perfectly into a giant, undead, scythe-wielding centaur.

"Oh shit." Was all Netto could say.

New chapter, more background on Sakura, and another battle for Link.

Chapter 10:Phantom

The centaur crashed the scythe downward, sending everyone flying away from the impact.

"HOLY CRAP." Fuyuki shouted when he landed.

"How the hell do we fight that thing?" Netto asked.

They all dodged for dear life as it tried to trample them.

"Wait...if I'm correct, it's dead flesh should be weak against fire, right?" Enzan asked.

"But how will that help?" Dingo asked.

Laika pulled out a match and leapt out of the way as the centaur tried to stomp him dead.

"Anyone have hairspray?" He asked, and Katya tossed a can to him.

"Why the hell did you...oh, nevermind." Netto said, figuring that finding out why Katya had brought hairspray in the middle of a creepy forest would confuse him anyways.

Laika lit the match.

"Time for a big cremation." He said, holding up the match and aiming the hairspray carefully.

The centaur raised it's scythe.

"Smile, bitch." Laika said bitterly as he launched his makeshift flamethrower.

The centaur instantly burst into flames and shrieked as it burned to the ground. Netto held his hands over his nose and coughed.

"Oh geez...the smell..." He said.

Soon, it hit everyone else, and they were all gagging. Vaati blew it away with wind.

"Whew...thanks, Vaati." Link said.

"No problem." Vaati said.

"Lets get out of here." Iris said.

They all left.

Later that night...

Netto saw everyone around him, all his friends, their navis, his brothers, lying on the floor, dead, in a pool of blood.

"Wha...what happened?!?" He asked.

Then, he saw Sakura appear.

"I'm too late..." She said.

Sakura looked up to Netto, and said "Hikari-kun, now is the time to tell you..."

Netto woke up, gasping. He was back in his house, and it was 7:30 AM. He was the only one awake.

"Oh...thank God...it was just a dream..."

Rockman awoke with a yawn and said "Netto, you're up early...what's wrong?"

Netto looked to his navi, relieved.

"Just a nightmare. It's fine." Netto replied.

"That's all? It must've been pretty bad, I mean, you're covered in sweat..." Rockman said.

Netto just realized that, and said "Wow..."

He got up and grabbed some clean clothes.

"I'm gonna go take a shower." He said.

"Alright, I'm gonna go see if Vaati is awake yet." Rockman said.

When he was in the shower, Netto thought more about that dream. Why was everyone dead...? And Sakura...why was she there, and what did she want to tell me? He thought.

"Just remember, it's only a dream." he said aloud to himself, and felt a little better.

But even so, her words hung in his head.

Hikari-kun, now is the time for me to tell you...

Even the fact that it was just a dream didn't help change the fact that those words freaked him out. Netto turned off the shower. He got out and was just about to change when he saw something in the mirror. It was Sakura. Netto turned and saw that she really was there.

"Sakura...!" He said.

Than he realized the awkwardness of this situation, turned red and covered himself.

"Uh...this really isn't a good time..." He said.

Sakura held out a towel and said "Here."

"Err...thanks." Netto said, and covered himself.

"How did you get in here? Was the door unlocked?" He asked.

"No...I just wanted to come in, so I did." She said.

"Hikari-kun, why do you wish to go to Hyrule?" Sakura asked.

"Two of our friends come from there. We wanted to see what their homeland is like." Netto said.

Sakura said aloud "So you want to see Vaati and Link's homeland..."

"Hmm? Do you know them?" Netto asked.

"No. I have never met them." Sakura replied.

She looked up to Netto.

"Hikari-kun...promise me, you won't let Black Reign or Ganondorf capture Vaati. They've banded forces to get him, and if they do, calamity will sweep both your world and Hyrule." Sakura said.

Netto smiled and said "I promise. Besides, Vaati's my friend. They won't lay a finger on him!"

There was a knock on the door.

"Are you in there, Netto? Can you hurry it up?" Fuyuki said.

"Alright." Netto said back.

He turned to face Sakura again, but she was gone. As if to have vanished in thin air.

Ojiro was in his computer lab when Sakura appeared in the lab.

"Daddy...what are you doing?" She asked.

"Daddy's busy, Sakura. I'm trying to make your new body." Ojiro replied, not turning his head away.

"My new body...what is it like, daddy?" Sakura asked.

"It will be a very nice body, sweety. I know you'll like it." Ojiro replied.

"...will you play with me when you finish that body, daddy?" Sakura said.

"Yes, sweety. I promise." Ojiro said.

"Okay..." Sakura said. "Daddy, I don't like what Black Reign is doing."

Ojiro turned his swivel chair so he was face to face with his daughter.

"Why, Sakura?'' He asked.

"It's mean to those who didn't do anything to us in the first place." Sakura replied.

"Yes, but we need Vaati. We need his powers for your new body, for your mother, and for the other project." Ojiro explained to his daughter.

Sakura didn't respond, but merely looked down.

Later that day...

Link was in a field just a little to the west of Okuden, honing his swordplay. He had set up 10 wooden dummies. Link pulled out his sword, spun it around quickly, and raised it. Faster than the normal eye could see, he had slashed all the wooden dummies into splinters. Link grinned.

"Perfect. I'm getting better at my swordplay, Ganondorf shouldn't be a problem!" He said.

"You think so?" A voice behind him said.

Link turned to see the shadowy figure he knew all too well.

"Phantom Ganon!" He said.

Phantom Ganon smirked and said "Are you ready to die?" He said, and raised his sword.

After swinging it downwards, a huge tornado flew at Link. Link was surprised, but leapt out of the way.

"Cyclone-" Link started to say.

"-Spin!" Phantom Ganon interrupted, and before Link could do it, Phantom Ganon had sent Link flying backwards with his own attack.

"That's...my attack...!" Link said, injured.

"I've learned much from our past encounters, Link. And after close observation of your attacks, I've learned to mimic them. Like this one!" Phantom Ganon said, and raised his sword.

The sword turned into a giant shadowy hammer.

"a Skull Hammer?!?" Link said, and could barely get out of the way before he was slammed into dust.

"Heh, you're a quick one. But I'll have to end this little game quickly." Phantom Ganon said, and kept trying to smash Link.

One time, he was about to get smashed, but Phantom Ganon found something stop the hammer. He looked to see Link holding the flat side, stopping it from smashing himself.

"What?!? But that thing is far heavier than you!" He said.

Link grunted and said "Maybe so, but with Power Bracelets, not at all!!"

Than he threw the hammer away. Link pulled out his sword and held it up, and it glowed brightly, temporarily blinding Phantom Ganon. When he had his eyesight back, Phantom Ganon saw four Links of different colors:Green, Purple, Blue, and Red.

"What? But..." He started to say.

"You forget, that..." Green Link said.

"..the Four Sword is..." Red Link said.

"...more than just..." Purple Link said.

"...a normal sword!!!" Blue Link finished.

They all leapt up.

"Get ready!" they shouted.

Green Link stabbed Phantom Ganon in the head, Red Link stabbed him in the neck, Blue Link stabbed him in the chest, and Purple Link stabbed him in the back. Then they leapt off him and Phantom Ganon fell to the ground in pain. Each one pulled out a bow and armed a Light Arrow.

"Damn..." Phantom Ganon said, before he was obliterated by the Light Arrows.

Than all four Link fused back into the normal Link.

"Man, they really want to kill us..." Link said.

Chapter 11:Snowfall

Fuyuki awoke the next day with his heart beating fastly. He remembered today was the day when they would go to the second location, Takai Mountain, today, but he still couldn't figure out why his heart was beating so quickly.

"Oh, you're awake?" Starman said.

"Yeah. Morning." Fuyuki said.

"Heh, you should've heard yourself in your sleep." Starman said with a grin.

"...What?" Fuyuki asked.

"You kept saying Iris over and over. Looks like that secret affection you have for her isn't so secret anymore!" Starman replied, laughing.

"Oh shut up!" Fuyuki shouted back, his face reddening.

"Iris, oh Iris! Come closer, Iris!" Starman laughed.

"Go to hell!" Fuyuki shouted and threw a pillow at his PET.

Starman was still laughing when the pillow covered the PET. Fuyuki got dressed, took the pillow off his PET, and grabbed the device before putting it in it's case.

"I swear to God, Starman, if you tell anybody that..." Fuyuki started to say.

"Tell anyone what?" Netto asked as he saw Fuyuki in the hallway.

"NOTHING!" Fuyuki shouted.

After breakfast, and everyone meeting up at the Metroline, they all traveled to Takai Mounain's coordinates. It was located not too far from Shaaro.

"Wow, that thing is huge." Netto said when they arrived.

Link sneezed.

"Geez, it's super cold here." He said.

"How can you stand all this cold, Laika?" Enzan asked.

"You forget, I was born in Shaaro. That's one of the coldest places on the planet." Laika said in a tone implying that if you didn't know that, you were an idiot.

"How are we gonna hike that thing, anyways?" Katya asked.

"Well, I can use my wind, and Link has enough tools, but I don't know about you guys..." Vaati said.

"I'm not sure if it's just me seeing things, but is that a hotel over there?" Dingo asked, pointing to a building.

"Maybe it's just frostbite getting to your small brain?" Lavis joked, and ducked to avoid Dingo's punch.

"No, he's right. Sensors in this Copyroid body detect that there are humans in the buildings." Iris said.

Lavis muttered something about Iris ruining his fun. They all went into the hotel to see that it was like a hotel and a shop put together.

"Ah, more hikers?" The man at the front desk said.

"Yeah. We need hiking tools." Netto said.

"I don't know...I'm not supposed to sell them to minors, ever since some idiot kids killed eachother when they fought with the tools." The man said.

Netto opened his mouth to speak, but Iris stepped forward.

She gave a bambi-eyes look to the man and said in a cutesy voice "Will you pleeeaaase sell us the tools? If not, I'd be so sad..."

The man replied "How can I refuse a sweet girl like you? Let me get the tools."

The moment he left, Iris's expression returned to normal. Everyone just stared at her in amazement.

"Since when did you..." Netto started to say, but Iris interrupted with "Some people just can't resist the cutesy act, as I've learned, so I practiced it to use in situations like this."

Starman started to say something, but Fuyuki said through clenched teeth "Talk and I'll kill you."

Starman closed his mouth.

After they left the hotel/shop, they opened the bag to see what they got. Not only were there tools that worked similar to Link's Grappling Hook, HookShot, and Hammer, but they also had recieved cloak-like fabrics that would serve as warmth. And with that, the hike began. Link and Vaati were making steady progress up the mountain, but the others were a little slow.

"Dammit...how can he use this repeatedly and not get tired?" Netto said about the Grappling Hook.

"Quit complaining, you need the excersize." Fuyuki replied.

He aimed his HookShot at a dead tree branch and flew up when the hook hit it. Iris was clinging to him this whole time.

"It's not that I don't enjoy you clinging onto me, but why couldn't you hike yourself?" He asked.

"I'm afraid of heights." Iris said.

Netto sighed and said "Dammit, we're behind everyone!!!"

"Well, at least we're somewhat high up, right?" Rockman said.

"Yeah, but, come on! We're going so slow, compared to everyone else! I mean, just look at Lavis!" Netto said.

Lavis wasn't even using his tools, he was just jumping from cliff to cliff very quickly. He was the highest up, just above Vaati and Link.

"That's because he's NebulaGrey energy, Netto." Rockman said.

Netto sighed and said "It's times like this I wish I were, too."

Laika probably would've been high, but Enzan fell a few feet and broke his leg, so he had to be carried.

"Agh...thanks again, Laika." Enzan said.

"No problem. Besides, this situation could've been a LOT worse." Laika said. "You could've missed that peak and fell all the way to the bottom and be dashed to little bloody pieces."

Enzan tried to shake the image from his mind.

"Enzan-sama, will you be okay?" Blues asked.

"Yeah, lets just hope there's someone up there who can treat this." Enzan said.

Dingo passed them up.

"This is easy once you get the hang of it!" He said. "Hey, Laika! At this rate, Netto's gonna pass you up!"

Laika shouted back "I don't see YOU carrying Enzan, maybe that's why I'm going slow!"

"He does have a point." Tomahawkman said.

"I know, I know, but he rarely gets pissed off, so I don't really care." Dingo replied.

Laika said to Enzan "Sorry, I let some competitive nature get the best of me."

Meanwhile, Vaati said "Hey Link, I sense a malicious presence up there. We better be careful."

Link nodded and said "Okay. As soon as I can, I'll get my bow out."

Meanwhile, Katya was progressing good, she was right next to Iris and Fuyuki.

"Man, I hope there's some kind of rest stop up there." She said.

"You and me both." Fuyuki replied.

Meanwhile, at the top, Ganondorf's servants, the TwinRova, watched everyone climbing. Kopake held a PET with Shockman in it.

"Heeheehee, they're going to die!" She said.

"Indeed, mates. This pure white snow will the death of them. Start the avalanche." Shockman said, and the TwinRova launched two fireballs into the snow, causing an avalanche to start.

TwinRova warped away.

Netto heard rumbling and looked up.

"Oh...shit..." He said.

Everyone else saw it.

"Man, we just can't catch any breaks lately..." Fuyuki said.

The snow flew down at full force, hitting everyone. Fuyuki couldn't see anyone else in the snow flurry. Then, he heard Iris shout and felt her let go of him.

"Dammit!" He shouted, and thrust his hand downward instinctively.

By sheer luck, he managed to grab onto Iris's wrist as she fell.

"Iris! Hold on!" He shouted.

"I'm trying!!!" Iris shouted back up.

"I'm gonna pull you up, don't look down!!!" Fuyuki shouted.

He pulled the girl up onto the peak with him.

"Whew...you okay?" Fuyuki asked.

"Yeah...thanks, you saved my life." Iris said.

Meanwhile, Lavis nearly fell from the snow, but managed to keep his footing.

"Damn...that wasn't natural. Whoever launched the avalanche must really want us to die." He said.

Above him, he heard someone shout "HELP!"

Lavis looked up and saw Dingo, hanging onto a small rock that jutted out from the mountainside.

"Hold on a little longer, I'll get ya!" Lavis shouted, took a few steps back, and ran up the side of the mountain.

Along the way he grabbed Dingo and stopped on the nearest outcropping.

"Thanks Lavis, I owe ya." Dingo said.

"No problem, I just hope the others are alright." Lavis said.

His PET beeped and Kokoro said "Hey Lavis, email from Fuyuki."

"Can you read it to me?"

"Sure, it says 'Iris and I are okay, we survived. That avalanche definantly wasn't natural. Anyways, if you can, reply to this message letting me know you're okay. We'll all meet at the mountain top, okay?' "

Dingo pulled out his PET.

"Hey, I got the email too. I better reply."

Lavis nodded and said "Kokoro, open a new letter. I'm gonna reply to that."

After both of them did, they were ready to continue up, but Lavis saw something that caught his eye.

"Hey, Dingo...look, I can see lights up there, and I can just faintly hear the sounds of people." He said.

"Perfect! Let's get going!!" Dingo said, and they both started climbing.

"Hold on, Link. Email." Vaati said, and pulled out a SubPET.

"Where'd you get that?" Link asked.

"Netto gave me it, said I should have one to keep in touch. Also, me and you should share it." Vaati replied, opening the emails.

"Hmm...looks like Fuyuki and Iris are okay. We're supposed to meet at the mountain's summit. Let me send him a message and we'll go to the top."

Link nodded, and after Vaati sent the message and put the SubPET away, they got ready to go up again. Vaati flew up, and Link made quick progress with the Deku Leaf, thanks to Vaati's wind. They reached the top and were amazed by what they saw.

On the summit, there was a city. It was very large, and protecting it on all sides were huge walls. At the front was a gate with two guards holding rifle-like weapons. Even more amazing, the mountain still went higher just beyond the city. Above the city, nestled just below the highest point on the mountain, was an icey-looking temple.

"Wow...looks like we got good luck." Link said.

"Yeah. Let's wait for the others before we approach the place, though." Vaati said.

Netto had ditched his Grappling Hook and now had two metallic claw-like gloves on, made for climbing using hands.

"Man, whoever invented these is a genious, it's a helluva lot easier than the other tools we got." Netto said, climbing the side of the mountain with them.

"Hopefully Fuyuki got our reply email." Rockman said.

"Yeah, can't have him thinking we're dead." Netto said.

Than he noticed something on an outcropping, so he climbed over to see what it was. When he did see it, his eyes widened with terror. It was the cloak Enzan had taken from the supply bag. However, it was stained with blood.

"Holy..." Was all Netto could say.

"Oh crap...Enzan, and Blues..." Rockman said.

Netto realized he was starting to cry.

"Dammit...why him..." Netto said.

Than he shouted "DAMMIT, ENZAN!!! WHY'D YOU HAVE TO GO AND DIE ON US?!?"

Rockman said "Netto, easy! I'm just as sad, too, but if you shout like that, you'll cause another avalanche."

Netto blinked to dispel his crying.

"Yeah...I suppose all we can do is just get to the top." He said, grabbed Enzan's cloak, and started climbing again.

A little further up, he found Laika, clutching his leg.

"Laika!!! You okay?!?" Netto asked.

"I got a damn rock pushed straight through my leg. No, I'm not okay." Laika said, pointing to the huge hole in his leg.

"Ouch...hold on, I'll help you up the mountain." Netto said.

"Crap...have you seen Enzan?" Laika said.

Netto looked down and showed Laika the bloody cloak.

Laika's eyes widened.

"Oh, shit..."

Than he shook his fist, saying "Dammit! Why didn't I make sure he was wth me at all times during that avalanche?!?"

"It's not your fault, Laika." Katya said, walking towards them.

"Katya! You're alive!!" Netto said. "Yeah, I'm fine." She said, and hugged Netto.

"Although, poor Enzan..."

Laika said to Katya "How can you say it's not my fault?!? I was supposed to look after him when he broke his leg on the slope!"

Katya slapped Laika across the face, surprising him.

"Nobody could've held him onto their back in an avalanche, not even Vaati, Link, or Lavis!! It's not your fault! Besides, would Enzan want you to pout like this?!?" She said to him.

Laika rubbed his cheek where he was slapped.

"No...you're right. Let's head to the surface and meet the others." Laika said, getting up.

Than the three started hiking.

O.o TwinRova?! Oh, are Lan and co. going to have to fight them/her? Or will it be another Zelda boss? Chaud is too cool of a character to kill off, so he must be alright... Maybe. :O Keep going! I need to know what happens next! :D

Good series of chapters. Had to catch up real fast, but these were really good. Especially the suspenseful ending; poor Laika's leg. Hope it isn't as bad as it sounds CFS. Great chappies!

Netto and everyone reach the mountain city of MokuYama, but find no info about the Hylian Key. However, they hear of an old man named Roku who has a connection with Black Reign. Meanwhile, Sakura aids a certain somebody. When they reach Roku's house, all that's inside is shadows, until something comes out from them...
