Yay! Fan service. Great chapter, although it was a little short. I agree that the characters did need a bit of a break, and this was great for them... expect poor Netto. I wonder if he'll make it out unscathed. Also, when did Enzan see Anetta naked? Well anyways, keep up the great work!

DEAR GOD, THE LAZINESS!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I needed to work on some new ideas. After overcoming my writer's block, I succeeded in a new chapter!! One more thing, there will be a very innapropriate part in the story that involves Netto and Enzan. You. Have. Been. Warned. Anyway, enough about my rambling. It's time for...

Chapter 29: Strange Phenomenon!! Journey To The Jawaii Islands!!!

Taiyou

Dear sweet mother of Sabata!! I didn’t know Kaze could lift such a heavy weapon!! And all just because I saw her nude…I’m gonna kill Django for this!!

It was the next morning, and we were getting ready to leave the hotel. Kiyasume was still pissed at Django about the stunt he pulled last night. Netto also tried to beat him senseless with a suit of armor that was on display in the main hall. So…basically all the girls and Netto wanted to beat the SOLL out of him.

“Taiyou, you ready?” Django called. “Yeah,” I called back. “Did you manage to clean up most of the bruises?” “Um…” he replied nervously. “Define ‘most’…”

Suddenly, someone knocked at the door. I ran over to it and looked through the peephole. It was Kaze. I started sweating nervously. “What do you need, Kaze?” She narrowed her eyes. “I came to see if you guys are ready to leave. Are you?”

I nodded. “No need to be impatient. Django’s almost done healing.” Kaze kicked the door impatiently. “Well, hurry the hell up!! I’m not getting any younger!!”

“I can see that…” I mumbled under my breath. “What was that?!” Kaze yelled. “Nothing!!”

“Okay,” Django said, stepping out of the bathroom. He was covered in several dozen Band-Aids. “I’m ready.” I nodded. “Let’s go.” We stepped out the door and were greeted by a very pissed off Kaze.

“Well, let’s get going.” She turned on her heel and stomped down the hallway. Django looked down on me. “She’s still really mad…” I rolled my eyes. “No, duh, numb-nuts!! You saw her naked!! She’s never gonna forgive us for that!!”

We sighed, then walked down the hall and out of the hotel.

Netto

“Oh, c’mon, Meiru!! Please forgive me!” Meiru gave an exasperated groan. “No, no, no, a thousand times NO!! You deliberately violated my privacy, and I can’t forgive you!! I don’t care if we are childhood friends, forget it!!”

I walked after her, really desperate now. “Isn’t there anything I can do to make you forgive me??” Meiru stopped, and I almost slammed into her. “Hmmm…I think there is one thing I can think of…” I got down on my knees and clasped my palms together. “Anything, you name it!!”

She knelt down and whispered in my ear. I pulled back with a look of horror on my face. “That’s just SICK!!” She looked at me with a sly smile. “You said you’d do anything…”

I caved in. “Fine. But that’s it! After this, you forgive me. Promise?” She nodded. “Promise.”

Orochi

I had my arm around Shio, and we were all (Django, Kiyasume, etc.)walking down the stairs, getting ready to leave. All of a sudden, we heard the sound of glass breaking.

*WARNING. THIS IS THE PART. I WARNED YOU THEN, I'M WARNING YOU NOW*

Netto burst from one portion of the main room, COMPLETELY naked. He had a seltzer bottle in his hands and he was spraying it everyone.

All of a sudden, he jumped up the stairs, bowled us over, and jumped in front of Enzan. “Forgive me,” Netto said, and he planted a big kiss right on Enzan’s lips.

We all stood, there, mouths agape, unable to take in the scene. Meiru came behind Netto, laughing so hard, tears were streaming down her face. “Oh, my God…” she said, laughing in between words. “I…didn’t think…he’d really…do that…”

“Allow me,” Kaze said, clearing her throat. “…WHAT THE @#$% IS GOING ON!!!??”

Meiru stopped laughing, and started to explain.

~~20 minutes later, we were all back at Hotaru’s house, assessing the situation…~~

I shook my head in disgust. “Meiru, that was seriously uncalled for. I mean, Netto must be dying inside!!”

She burst out laughing again. “Yeah, I know. That’s what I was hoping!!!” She looked toward a corner of the room, where Netto(fully clothed now)was curled into a fetal position, sucking his thumb. “It was all just a bad dream…” he said, in a somewhat trancelike voice.

“Excuse me,” Hotaru said, getting our attention. “I believe I’ve figured out were the Jawaii Islands are…”

He held up the map of Butai Oukoku, and there was a large, red circle drawn around several dots off the coast of Mizu Shufu. “I think these are the Jawaii Islands. But this…” he said, pointing to the largest of the islands. “…really baffles me. On the surrounding islands, there’s plenty of vegetation and animal life. But on this one…nothing…”

That made us all a little uneasy. “So…” Dekao said. “How do we get there? Flight?” Hotaru shook his head. “No. The wind pressure around there is so strong it could blow you all to pieces.”

Kaze scoffed. “Big deal! I’ll just move the wind away, leaving us unharmed.”

Hotaru rolled his eyes. “Doubt me if you must, but if you really want to get there, then you should see this.” He pulled out a small blue orb with several knobs and switches attached to it. “This is my Simulator. I use it to simulate any event that goes on in Butai Oukoku.” He pressed a green switch on it, and the orb opened up. It spread apart, changing its shape to that of the Jawaii Islands. Holographic images of small animals and plants appeared as well.

“Whoa…” Enzan said in awe. “How did you do that??” Django chuckled. “Hotaru is Hanagata’s technical genius. He’s the one who thought up the original Gun Del Sol Project.”

Kei scoffed. “I doubt if he’s smart as me.” Saru rolled his eyes. “Anyway…” Hotaru continued. “Here’s what would happen if Kaze tried to control the wind around the main island.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small doll replica of Kaze.

“Hey, where’d you get that?!” Kaze yelled. “I’m a craftsman. I’ve got a lot of spare time on my hands.” Kaze obviously didn’t want to press on, so she let the conversation drop.

Hotaru pressed another switch on the holographic map, and a small fan appeared in the middle of the main island. Hotaru pressed a switch near that, and WHOA!!! It fell like we were thrown into an engine turbine. Wind was whipping all around us. “MAN!!” Zatch yelled, holding on to his cape. “Cyclone would’ve loved this!!”

Hotaru held the doll of Kaze above the fan. “Now, watch.” He dropped the doll into the wind, and before the doll touched the ground, it was shredded to pieces by the strong wind.

Kaze just stared in amazement. “Oh…my…God…” Hotaru nodded. “Yep. So the only way of getting there is by boat. But I warn you…” He lowered his voice. “The creatures surrounding the island could kill you.”

It was like someone had died. No one made a sound. Finally, Laika broke the silence. “So…let’s get going…”

~~1 hour later…~~

Enzan

We stood at the docks, waiting for Hotaru to come around. I pulled out my PET. “Blues, I need you to check the wind speed for today.” My Navi nodded. “Got it.”

Netto was curled up on the wooden planks, sucking his thumb in a fetal position once again. Meiru was right next to him, biting her bottom lip to prevent herself from laughing.

Orochi shot her an angry glare. Meiru gave him a hurt look. “What do you want from me? To apologize?” Orochi nodded silently, still glaring. Meiru shook her head. “Nu-uh, no way, no how!!” Orochi’s eyes glowed purple, which freaked Meiru out. “All, right, all right.” She sighed, then poked Netto.

“Netto? C’mon, stop kidding around.” Netto rocked himself back and forth, apparently not listening to her. “Fine. I didn’t want it to have to come to this, but…” Meiru cupped her hands around her mouth. “JUMBO SIZED CURRY BOWL AT 5’o CLOCK!!!”

Netto bolted upright from his fetal position, sniffing around for the curry. “Whuzzat!? Where’s the curry? WHERE’S THE @#$%ING CURRY!?!”

Meiru smiled. “That got ‘im.”

We heard a loud whirring sound, and saw Hotaru coming around the docks with his enormous sailboat. It had Otenko’s face painted alongside of it, and had the Gun Del Sol painted onto the sail. At that moment, Blues pulled up a file on my PET. “I found the weather reports.” I read it off. 85 degrees. 36% chance of rain. Wind speeds up to 45 mph. Perfect.

~~Out at sea…~~

Kei

[insert Wind Waker sailing music here]

Kei’s Log. Stardate: Who knows, I’m not an astronomer. We’ve been adrift for three hours, but it’s felt like a year. Saru’s been entertaining himself by climbing around the sails. The only thing I’m doing is writing this log. Django said that in the event of us dying a horrible, salty death out at sea, if I write a log, at least someone will know what our last thoughts were as we sat screaming like babies about to get eaten by sharks. Nice.

Saru leaned over my shoulder. “What’re you writing?” I closed the laptop, done with typing. “What do you think? I’m writing a log!! Sheesh, I really got the beaker with the false bottom when I found you.” Saru laughed, and slapped me on the back. “C’mon, you don’t mean that. If it weren’t for me, you’d be as sour as a lemon, with no humor at all. What kind of life is that?”

I groaned silently, but I knew he was right. Without him, I wouldn’t have friends like Aku and Mark. I guess I owe him more than I realize.

BOOOOM!!!

Yaito jerked her head up. “What was that?!”

BOOOOM!!

Django stood up, alert. “It sounded like a cannon.” All of a sudden, the water in front of us caved in. Literally. We all gasped, then saw something come out of the pool. Shio pointed a shaky finger at the figure. “Oh, my God…”

I know, I'm evil to leave you with such a cliffhanger. But hey, that's how I roll. Hope you liked it!!! ^_^ :D

Finally this story is starting to roll along. I had to stop myself from laughing hard when Netto kissed Enzan, seeing as I'm in my Windows Operating System's class right now supposed to be working.
