I just thought of this two weeks ago. Courtesy of Kingdom Hearts!!! :D
Name: Three Wishes
[ ][ ][ ]
[ ]
[ ][C]
[ ]
[ ][ ][ ]
Description:
When HP is reduced to 50% or less, three squares appear in the Custom Screen. One is a picture with a pink background and a halo. Select this icon, and you'll recover all health. The second icon is a picture of two pure white wings with a red background. Select this, and Rockman is given OmniShoes. The last icon is a picture of red skull and crossbones on a purple background. Select this, and your opponent is left with one panel, all the other panels cracked, and the only panel she/he is standing on is a Poison Panel. (literal DEATHMATCH!! :O) NOTE: AFTER THIS EFFECT IS USED, IT CANNNOT BE USED AGAIN IN THE SAME BATTLE. YOU CANNOT SELECT MORE THAN ONE ICON.
Glitches: You start the battle with 50% HP, any Souls/Crosses that affect Shoes will not work (NapalmaSoul, GyroSoul), and four random panels become Poison.
Color: Green
What do you guys think? _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

Well, I've read all of 'em, and I think I didn't miss one, so... What NC would I make if I could? Hows about...
[.][.][.][.][.]
[.][.][.][.][.]
[.][.][.][.][.]>
[.][.][.][.][.]
[.][.][.][.][.]
Time Slower
Color: [.] Compress: [.]
Function: Busting time is cut after every battle. For example: 20 seconds of battle is considered as 15 seconds only...
Glitch: Lose 10 HP every second. Don't take too long...
Is this NC too much...? _________________ My deviantART... |

@N2-0 Night- Actually, for its size, I think the time it takes away should be increased slightly; having a better busting time is better for your ego (better overall rating) and for getting the odd rare chip from bosses and such, but wouldn't have much of an effect on actual gameplay. I assume it takes 5 seconds off your time; how about beefing that up to 10? Nice idea, by the way.
@DjangoSP- Interesting, though I think some of the "wishes" are a bit weak. What happens if you start the battle with half health, though?
I've come up with a few ideas of my own:
ElementShuffle
Color: Pink
Shape:
[][][]
[] [c]
[][][]
[c]= compressed square
Effect: Changes all your attack chips to a different element; setting them into a cycle of fire->wood->elec->aqua. This includes chips that don't normally have an element. For Souls, the base element of the chip still applies. Example- A FireSword could end up doing elec damage, but would still be used for FireSoul.
Reversal
Color: Red
Shape:
[][][][]
[][][][]
Effect: An option appears on your Custom Screen; Reverse. When used, you would swap your field with your opponent's. All obstacles and panels would flip position on the field; if there was a Rockcube in your opponent's center panel, it would end up in your center panel. This can be used in virus battles to turn a disadvantageous set up against your enemies, as Capcom is so fond of throwing you into those bad situations late in the game.
Reverse can only be used twice during a battle; once used, you must wait 30 seconds of battle time in order to use it again. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Actually, I was thinking of it in another way. Like, cut down the time by 1/4. Example, if you delete a Navi in 60 seconds, it will come out as 45 seconds. _________________ My deviantART... |

That reversal sounds interesting. And that time cut down does too. |

That's not particularly helpful...especially it being only one line. :/
Anyway. This really serves nothing except for one-player matches. I assume that this time credit affects the base rank as well? If so,what this will do at most is set the base score to 9 for determination of busting rank.
As for using this to beat navis, this program is a godsend, but it's not quite aestheically pleasing...since part of the challenge of busting navis in less than 10 seconds is developing a strategy that actually can go off in two-and-a-half turns or less--having this kinda eliminates the aspect of speed. Granted, a lot of sub-ten-second busts occur as a result of a good draw, but having this added detracts from the flavor of navi busting, really... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! I know what you mean, Midnight. It does ruin some of the challenge. About the size, since the function is this good, I made it so no other NC can be placed in the Program Line (like the Soul Cleaner NC). You can still compress it, so a compressed Under Shot NC can still fit...
If I was to create that NC (for real), then it will be unobtainable by normal means. Maybe win it in a tournament, or cheat it...? So much for my imagination... _________________ My deviantART... |

NCP:
Thief in the Night:
Type: Ability
Color: White
Description: All Purple Mystery Datas which previously needed an unlocker subchip to be opened can now be opened without need for that. Additionally, if there is a mystery data on the field of a random virus/navi/whatever encounter, an option appears on the custom window that makes you lose twenty HP. As soon as the custom window closes and the battle begins, you appear on the same panel as the mystery data, replacing it with a bomb* that gives twenty damage to all panels in the area (panels opposite color than your own). The mystery data is automatically added to your inventory, meaning that you can escape the battle and still gain the data. Additionally, there is a one in ten chance that you will have a clogged buster, meaning that you get a click instead of a shot. (charge shot unaffected) The metaphor being that your buster is so clogged with stuff you stole that you can't shoot.
Block:
[..][..][..]
[,,][..][,,]
[..][..][..]
,, is taken away when this block is compressed.
In battle:
[..][..][..][..][V][..]
[..][R][..][V][M][..]
[..][..][..][..][..][V]
R=Rockman
M=Mystery Data
V=Virus
Effect is activated:
[..][..][..][..][V][..]
[..][..][..][V][R][..]
[..][..][..][..][..][V]
Mystery Data is replaced:
[..][..][..][..][V][..]
[..][R][..][V][B][..]
[..][..][..][..][..][V]
B=Bomb
Bomb goes off:
[..][..][..][D][D][D]
[..][R][..][D][D][D]
[..][..][..][D][D][D]
D=Panel hit by bomb's blast.
Glitch: All mystery data encountered in virus battles are automatically destroyed at the beginning of the battle, and you take twenty HP damage each time you close the custom window (after you finish selecting chips, then hit OK). Additionally, opening any purple mystery data even WITH an unlocker sub chip will give you twenty HP damage.
*Bomb is counted as an object, and can be destroyed. It blows up after about two seconds of being there, so it doesn't really matter. (Bomb can take twenty HP of hits before being destroyed if you really want to know)

This program will most likely be used by stingy players not willing to shell out 4000z for Unlockers, and not much else.
Something is strange, though--"losing the battle" implies that Rock gets baleeted--and that immediately ends the game and returns the player to the last backup point. Do you mean something along the lines of someone obtaining the GMD in battle, and then escaping? That does seem a bit more in the flavor of the name of the program... _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Sorry, I used the wrong terminology *bonks self in the head*
I meant by opening the custom window and then escaping.
So yes, your assumption is correct. Thanks for catching that one, Mids _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

That's not that great. Maxing up your buster without leaving up any room for Custom+s won't get you far against a superior player. Having extra MB and Gigas doesn't help either. How about a Custom effect added to it? | Uh....yup. It must've slipped my mind. -_-; I'll Throw in a Cust+3 and a so-so quick gauge and call it a day. |
