51 episodes, if I'm not wrong? That was done in all of EXE, Axess, and Stream...

Last I checked, EXE had 56 episodes and Axess and Stream had 51 episodes. |

Yeah, EXE was longer than Axess and Stream, but still don't they usually say how long the series is? I suppose they still might be working on it... Hrm.

I have a question in regards to the translation on episode 22. While your name reads "The Boy Called Death", I saw the episode preview, and noticed this: Shinigami to yobareta shounen.
Sense Shinigami means "Death God", yobareta means "To call, name". Wouldn't it make sense to call the title by "The Boy who is called the Death God?"
This is just my input, that's all. |

Death is called Shinigami in Japanese, even though it translates to death god literally. Either is correct.
Try playing both English and Japanese Castlevanias. |

Got some stuff on the next couple of episodes, but I don't have enough to warrant it's own topic so I'll post it under a cut here.
Spoilers for Episodes 25 + 26:
[spoil:6467c9189d]Episode 25 is the climax of the current storyline, and according to the bad translation I got from the internet is titled "Exceed Light".
Episode 26 starts a new season called "Rockman.exe Beast Plus", and the episode's title is badly internet translated to "The Name is Zero".

You've pieced it together well. This is where Japan culture notes come in.
Like Zan said, Death (as in the guy in a cloak walking around the world with a scythe, delivering death to people) is called Shinigami in Japanese. The kanji used literally translates to "death god", but it's supposed to mean "spirit of death", which, in the western world, IS Death.
It's probably confusing because the English standard for writing titles (capitalize every word) and culture references (death vs Death) got mixed up in this episode's title

I learned about that from bleach and shinigami basically meaning death it also makes sense that killerman has a sycthe. Which is what the standard thing that the western idea of death has. |
