Anybody seen him around since Beast episode 2? Confused

No matter how hard I try and recall where Rush may have appeared since running away from babysitting duty, I just can't remember seeing the little fella again.

And Beast is about, well, "electronic beasts", the little guy should have been in the limelight!

Anybody out there with a more photographic memory than mine?

They confiscated everyone's Synchro Chips, except for Netto, Enzan and Laika, due to them being Net Saviors. So Rush wouldn't be any good to Meiru anyways, since they probably took the chip off of him. (In fact, in Episode 2 of Beast the chip is quite gone)

I counted 8 chips on that trap, that means 8 + Netto and Co. There are still two chips unaccounted for, probably [spoil:7da33ea2e3]Yuriko and Barrel.[/spoil:7da33ea2e3] or [spoil:7da33ea2e3]Meiru and Barrel[/spoil:7da33ea2e3]

Barrel's Synchro Chip would have probably gone completely due to him (Stream/Movie Spoilers) [spoil:4a66143f72]disappearing when he Cross-Fused with Duo and him also disappearing in the movie... In short, it probably went with him[/spoil:4a66143f72]
And the other unaccounted Synchro Chip would probably have been Meiru's, which would have been confiscated due to the reasons described above... No idea if it was Yuriko's. =/

Considering that she leaned towards helping Netto in Stream after her behaviour with Axess, and that Dusk gave away his, by the looks of it... I believe that may be the case. =/

I agree about Barrel's being "forever lost"
I agree with Yuriko giving up hers so she could be with her sister again.
Personally, I think Tesla's more the type of person to not want to give it up. Besides, (Stream spoiler) [spoil:3580ba87cc]she got hers as a birthday present :p[/spoil:3580ba87cc]

OK, let's do some math here...

13 Synchro Chips
3 go to Netto, Laika, and Enzan

10 Synchro Chips
2 are missing

Nenji, Pride, Dingo, Jasmine, Charlie, and Meiru probably wouldn't have had any problems returning theirs, so that makes up 6 of the 10. That means two more people gave them to Yuuichirou and two didn't.

Though Tesla's was also a birthday gift, she probably gave it back. She probably isn't too interested in it considering she's no longer evil and all up in Charlie's junk now... so that gives us 7 chips.

Barrel could have vanished with one... probably the most legit, truly... So there goes 1. This leaves us with...

Yuriko's and Miyabi's were gifts from Wily (also created by him), so what gives Yuuichirou the right to confiscate them? But if you do the math, one of them returned the Synchro Chip and one didn't. Considering Miyabi is so much more stubborn than Yuriko, he may have kept his while Yuriko, who also seems no longer interested in evil, returned hers. But, on the other hand, Miyabi seems pretty dissinterested in being a Cross Fusion Member to begin with, so it's just as legit to say he returned his too.

And then you have to add in the factor that Meiru and Dingo are both in Beyondard, not able to join in which the Cross Fusion Members. This can greatly alter the equation.

So let's just say "Who cares?" We'll wait till the episode airs and see which Cross Fusion Members appear. (We may not get them all.) I'm sure the writers actually weren't trying to get the math just right with the 8 synchro chips... and besides, there's probably more Synchro Chips laying around anyway. They had to mass-produce these things when we got 5 new members in the span of 2 episodes, and I'm sure they have some back-up ones anyway. There's nothing saying these specific chips belong to which specific C.F. Members.

Since the animators for this series isn't really that good, considering how they reuse the same scene sometimes, I'm thinking they forgot to draw it in the first picture Crimson Seiko showed up there and they added it to rush later, maybe because they are in a hurry to draw the whole episode in a week.
