Always giving Nintendo the short end of the stick . Most video game companies are prejudice to Nintendo because it's labled "kiddy" which pisses me off. |

I like the lable of "indestructible" for Nintendo. Honestly, I think it would be a good thing to have a merger with Nintendo and Sony so they could make a system with the best of both of them. Maybe gerneration-after-next console. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

That'd be cool, but I heard this unlikely rumor that Microsoft is gonna let the Nintendo DS use Halo to take down the PSP. When I heard this I couldn't believe it, and I don't think it's true anyways. |

Oh, no way would Halo be workable on the DS. Well, then again, Metroid Prime Hunters looks good still. Ah, who knows? But this is off topic, so let's get back on. How's Resident Evil Deadly Silence look? I haven't felt much interest so far, but maybe someone else has a favorable opinion. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Nintendo doesn't always get the short end of the stick. There's plenty of Nintendo-only awesome games.
And RE 4 was Nintendo only for the longest time. _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

Hardest boss? Verdugo. You are only given so little time to do damage before he's invulnerable again. But, as with every other boss, a little practice will leave you laughing in their face. RE4 is actually not that hard.
When playing Waterworld with someone who doesn't have good stunning weapons (cough Leon), grenades are your best friend. :]
It's not that Nintendo got the short end of the stick. It's that RE4 was made for the GC first. Then Capcom decided to port it PS2 (with extras to convince buyers) about a month before GC release. The RE exclusivity contract with Nintendo expired, so Capcom thought, "Why not? $$$." They could've waited until AFTER the GC one was released, but whatever. I don't have marketing training so...
RE DS is great. But I'm one of those people who are big RE fans, but never played the original. The visuals are only slightly touched up from the original, but it still looks pretty good considering the DS's technical specs. (and how in Rebirth mode, there are usually more than 2 enemies at you at once). As for whether or not you should get it, buy it if you didn't play the original, or didn't get sick of remakes/ports yet, or if you know someone you can play multiplayer with.
No one else has Resident Evil DS?
Edit: Oh, almost forgot. Everyone knows Biohazard 2 is being remade for PC in Japan (on a DVD-Rom), and Resident Evil 4 (with Onimusha 3 and Devil May Cry 3 special edition or something) is being ported to PC right? _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. Oh, Vergugo isn't invulnerable when it thaws out. You did mean Right Hand, didn't you? Yeah, it's never actually invulnerable. Just really, really tough. I did finally take down Krauser, but I had to use a few grenades to do it. Huzzah! Now it's time to get through the war zone. But not right away. I've got some work to do on Megawoman's fic. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Verdugo's main problem is that he has so much more endurance than any other boss. He is capable of taking just as many magnum shots as probably U3.
Krauser is easy on any mode without wasting any weapons. If you corner him towards the edge of a tower than he is helpless as when he attempts to backflip, he moves nowhere. Just knife away and he won't be able to attack you. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I'm trying to get RE:DS.
I hope they make RE2 for the DS as well. I'm happy of getting ports/remakes of the first RE game.. but too much of a good thing is bad. |

Indeed they are! Grenades saved Hunk from Salvador and I manage to 5-Star that level. Just two days ago, I finally got the Hand Cannon! Oh the glory of having infinite ammo and doing 99.9 damage.
Leon's riot gun actually kills Salvador in just a couple shells if you shoot him in the face. All this time I thought it would take like 15 shells. Did anyone manage to get a score of 200,000 or more in Mercenaries? I heard it can be done. My highest so far was around 120,000 at the Castle with Wesker. _________________

Getting 200,000 on WaterWorld is actually an easy deal with Hunk if you continuously kill Dr. Salvador.

Yeah, he's the chainsaw guy.
Killing Salvador with Hunk was the toughest for me. Everyone else had weapons that could take him down in a couple shots. Riot Gun, Semi-Auto, Krauser's giant claw/blade thing, and Killer7. For Hunk, I had to rely mainly on my grenades to take down both the Salvadors, plus some TMP bullets.
Is Hunk really the "high score king"? I just can't see that. His neck breaker was really useful and helped me kill the Bella Sisters with ease, but it sucks when you're surrounded. It's easy to run out of ammo pretty fast if you just go crazy with the TMP, which I've done numerous times. _________________

Has anyone gotten the Hand Cannon? Is it good? What's it like? |

The Hand Cannon is only great when you get the exclusive. It's much better than the Broken Butterfly even without the exclusive IMO. Even though it does have infinite ammo and 99.9 damage, the firing rate is really slow. The recoil will slow you down in firing another bullet. Not the best gun when you're surrounded. _________________

Do you have a screen shot? Or something. I'm trying to get it, but it's just too hard to get.... Maybe I suck that much. |

Well, I'm not sure who was the hardest... They were all rather easy. But I guess that tad hardest was Krauser. Now, what was the scariest thing in Resident Evil you've seen? For me, it's Lisa Trevor. |

Bah. Krauser is simple with just a knife. Unless you mean you're having too much trouble with the cutscene's action buttons, then I would sympathize I suppose.
To all those people who had a lot of trouble with Verdugo, someone made it look easier... MUCH easier... with only the nitrogen canisters and a knife.

Visit here, for more of the guy's "Jebus Christ! How the crap did he do that!?" videos. They mostly involve knife and/or grenade tricks. One of them just so happens to be beating Saddler with a knife and environmental elements. :] _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. Nice, nice.
I finally got the Hand Cannon. But the thing is... there isn't any ammo for it... |
