|
|
This episode was far better than anything I anticipated. There was a LOT of action, and it was all REALLY fast-paced. Plus, there were a TON of really awesome, fan-servicey easter eggs in there. You wouldn't believe how many Zoanoroids got squeezed into this episode. Looks like Beast is winding down to a VERY dramatic finale, and if every episode of Beast Plus is that action-packed and fast-paced, those 15 minutes will be WELL worth it. So, here are the highlights of interest that I can pick up on without Japanese fluency...
- We get to see a lot of the Cross Fusion members, and a difference with them as they were in Stream is that their fights are actually entertaining now, and we didn't have to sit through eight billion henshin sequences. Yay!
- Pride and Yuriko take on Zoano-Kendoman (!) and Zoano-Metalman (!!).
- We see Charlie and Tesla, but we never see them fuse and fight; their scene is quite amusing, though. (Another joke about being 30-years-old.)
- We see Nenji and Jasmine battle some very interesting foes... not only Zoano-Napalmman (!!!), but Zoano-MEDI (!!!!) too. Zoano-Medi in all her Beast-Out-ed-ness is... quite neat looking.
- Then Dekao gets chased around by Zoano-Blizzardman (!!!!!), and Miyabi intervenes, but we don't see him Cross Fuse either. (By the way, these Beast-Out-ed Zoanoroids are starting to get creepier and creepier. Zoano-Blizzardman's face kinda freaks me out.)
- Yes, Zoano-Colonel Beast Outs, and it's intimidating as hell. Blues and Tomahawkman take him on while Rockman, Roll, and Searchman battle with Grega, who also appears to cause a ruckus.
- On another note, Roll does a Program Advance. Very interesting to see.
- We get to see Phakchi try and use Slashman to fight Zoano-Colonel, but he just gets knocked away until other stuff happens. Oh well... better luck next time, Slashy.
- Iris manages to turn Zoano-Colonel back to normal with her awesome glowy sphere tricks, but her body reverts back to the Copyroid robot.
- Trill gets captured by Diveman while everyone and their goldfish is fighting each other over him. (Basically, Falzer also appears later to stop Grega from catching Trill, who was earlier on the run from Zoano-Colonel...)
As for next week? Looks like more of this, except for viruses... Barrel swings his stick/whip hybrid weapon around some, and the Beyondard Net Agents help. That's right... we get to see Sharkman, Skullman, and Woodman all together again. Netto, Enzan, and Laika also use Cross Fusion for a change.
All-in-all, this was one of the best episodes around so far. It actually had me on the edge of my seat thinking "What the hell is gonna happen next?" And for the first time ever, when the giant Grega appeared and roared at our tiny, miniscule heroes... I felt a little scared for them. _________________

I say this makes up bit time for the loses they made in Stream. So for next week's episode, it's R-Needle and R-Knight vs. Z-MetalMan! R-Medi vs. Z-Medi!! R-ShadowMan(?) vs. Z-BlizzardMan!
Not to mention the upcoming battle in Beyondard! So cool! |

Hey thanks.
Zoan Napalmman: I believe I said my opinions on him in the last talkback.
Zoan Metalman: Sweet davy jones! What happened to his nose?
Zoan Medi: If she's supposed to resemble an animal of any kind, then I can't tell exactly WHAT it is she's supposed to resemble.
Zoan Kendoman: Sweeeeet!
Zoan Blizzardman: W....T....F? |

Well... given the look, the things on Meddy's arms resemble feathers and she has talon like feet. So I'm guessing a bird of some kind since she's part of the Falzer army. I'm assuing Falzer at least since that would give each army 3 new Zoans each. Metal, Napalm and Blizzard for Greiga and Meddy, Sword and Kendou for Falzer. |

Gah! Zoan Medi's kinda creepy. O_o Though I guess it's cool they're including female navis, too. I mean any kind of "oid" navi has always been guys. =P _________________ ~スライダーちゃん~

I'd Say Zoanorid Napalmman looks the best out of the bunch. |

This sounds like an interesting episode. Hopefully the rest will cross fuse in the next episode. (and R-Roll + program advance?, alright.) |

I absolutly loved this episode! My favorite beast out is Meddy all the way. This episode acctually made we wonder what was to happen. I almost thought Iris was going to get deleted.
Did anyone notice how when diveman moves, he has brown water around him. They just recolored the water to make it look like sand.
Also I think the next episode takes place exacly after this one wich means that they use cross fusion cause the navi's 10 minutes are over. This is what I think at least.
All in all I give this episode ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ /10 trills |

Well, yeah, actually. Capcom's summary:
Amidst Grega and Falzers clash, Trill is abducted by Kurohige and Chirol, who are now the subordinates of Wily. Rockman and co's substantiation is also limited, and Netto and co. find themselves in a dilemma. Netto, Enzan and Laika cross fuse without taking heed to the risk and fight back, but they fall before the intense attacks of both armies. Also, Fossa Ambience begins to appear in the real world. Using Trill, the Beyondard Wily begins to put his plan into action. _________________

There were three really memorable moments in this episode.
I was totally baffled when Pride and Yuriko were just standing there talking, even when ZoanoMetalman showed up and fired missiles at them. Granted, I don't know what it was they were talking about, but it was worth a nice chuckle imagining it was ripped out of some chic flick.
Then I puked when I first saw ZoanoMedi. That was just totally messed up. And no, it's absolutely not because I hate Medi. ZoanoMedi is one really nasty-looking Power Ranger drag queen with a bulbous butt (in a psuedo-sexy pose) and hideously sagging breasts. If I were a Medi fanboy, I'd be looking on eBay for a katana to commit seppuku with after seeing that.
But just as I was just about to give up on this episode, Roll pulled off a Program Advance, as easily as anyone else. I love how Beast is really making Meiru out to be a skilled operator and Roll to be a capable Navi. Hallelujah, for all is not lost! (I just really hope they don't do to Roll what they did to Medi.) |
