The only thing blocky about Zero's design in the EXE series is his shoulder armor. Aside from that I doubt he'd be more difficult to animate than any other Navi. _________________

Plus his head and chest armor. Take a look at his official art and you'll get a better picture. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I AM looking at his official art. His chest doesn't look blocky at all and the only thing "blocky" about his head are the crests of his helmet. The point is I can't see him being all that difficult to animate traditionally. Hell, HeatMan.EXE is blockier than Zero and he was animated just fine. _________________

It'll be funny if this turns out to be a big April Fools joke... since the "finale" is set to air on April 1st. |

But is there a Fool's Day in Japan? I don't know if I've heard of April 1st being referred to as April Fool's Day over there. And as for Heatman being animated just fine, there were only three things to animate: the right arm, the left arm, and the face, all of which were not blocky. The flip-top of his Zippo body didn't even move. As far as I can remember. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

The ultimate blocky? Try Optimus Prime in Galaxy Force Transofmers.
He's nothing but blocks, and the blockier he gets, the faster he moves
And need I mention the classic Transormers series?
Game-wise, blocks are easier to animate.
Hand-drawn animation? As long as there's paper to spare :D _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

It won't be terribly hard to animate. Look at the other Navis they've animated thus far, like Junkman and such. Besides episodes are only 15 minutes now, so it won't be too hard on the animators. _________________

I just hope that when they use Zero, they keep the tragic angle of his character of being a Virus caught in a world of Navis, and thinking its his destiny to suffer.
As opposed to what they did with Bass/Forte, who they sucked the interesting stuff right out of. |

That is a good point. It seems like so far they are keeping that with some kind of virus spreading around.
Beast/X Series spoilers: [spoil:f629d8a245]I thikn it'd be cool if they ever found a way to do Iris/Zero VS Colonel, but given the differences in their characters in EXE, I doubt it.[/spoil:f629d8a245] T_T _________________

Wasn't there a piece of fanart by TheWax depicting that hypothetical scenario? _________________

An introduction to X series, one starts to speak more and more about Dr. Wily in the Beast series. I think that Wily creates Zero to introduce the series X, Beast Plus is the end of Rockman Exe series and perhaps that Capcom works on X series version Battle Network.
April Fool's Day or marketing ?
Or perhaps the end of the battlle Network, to pass to the series Rockman ZX ?

Perhaps you'd like to give us reasons why you don't like it, instead of just flaming someone else's idea. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

I remembers the team of the Rockman.Exe séries has to work on the animation of the Irregular Hunter X ?
Considering the quality of the animation of the Beast series, I wait more than a whole a version “X BN”
The series starts has to lose in originality and the creators seeks ideas elsewhere, therefore one gives a style “Rockman.Exe” to the series “Rockman ZX” to make a evolution of the séries Battle Network. The only risk for the fans of the series Battle Network it is waiting. Because if Capcom decides to make a evolution of the series, it will take a certain time for recreates a universe. I think that the next game on console will be born on a console Next Gen. Connectivity DS/REV for the exemple.
MMBN ?x? Wait & See.
Here is the marketing of Capcom. |

Allow me. My opinion counts too doesn't it? The idea of their being a Megaman Battle Network X series kinda doesn't mesh good since many of standard X's characters introduced into it so it would be kind of strange.
Also, the X and Zero franchises are the most serious ones out of Megaman's career. The thing I liked about Battle Network was that it was able to attain a light-hearted side similiar to the original Megaman franchise even with dark serious plots going on. Any BN "X" series would just seem like overkill and might take away that light-hearted side. |

Sorry, sorry but this like for me kinda didn't fit.Rockman.EXE X probably would be more...i don't know...dark?Well...Rockman.EXE is good series and doing Rockman X.EXE is very bad idea...but its my opinion of course.I don't want to "flaming someone else's idea". |
