The only things that have been released are the Game soundtracks and singles by the artists who do the opening/endings. Though some of the opening/endings don't have full versions yet. T_T

Yes.

In fact, if you looked in the News forum, you'll find that a single for the Beast opening and ending were released on CD some time ago. It is because of that we have the full ending theme of Beast floating around....and if I'm not mistaken, the opening as well, just not a full single version of it.

Actually, there was one BGM soundtrack released. It was called Sound Navigation 01, released in 2002, and it had music from the first half of the original EXE series.

The name implies there would be more, but, for one reason or another, a second one was never released. Some assume it may be because the soundtrack was quickly available online for MP3 download, but that's doubtful... just how many Rockman soundtracks get offered online for MP3 online immediately after their release? Take the Zero remastered soundtracks for example... that didn't stop Inti-Creates from releasing one each year.

Nonetheless, nothing has ever been released after Sound Navigation 01, which is really disappointing... I'd love to have the rest of EXE's BGM, plus the compendium of awesome songs from Axess, Stream, and Beast. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a huge soundtrack covering all of Axess, Stream, and Beast will be released after Beast concludes (assuming Beast is the last series--a popular opinion)...

Anyway, you can buy Sound Navigation 01 online at sites like CD Japan or Play-Asia, or you can download it in MP3 format at Plug-In (under Media) or Atomic-Fire (under Music Files).

On the Sound Navigation soundtrack, are any of the songs based off of the music in the games? It'd be interesting to hear them if so.

Are we talking about anime or game soundtracks? There's plenty of soundtracks for the EXE video-games, but only one with music from the anime--the one I described earlier (Sound Navigation 01).

No, none of the music on there is game-inspired. It's directly from the original EXE series. The anime hasn't had any music with inspiration from the games, actually... (though the games have had anime music before, specifically Kazewo Tsukinukete rearrangements in Transmission and that Wonderswan platformer).

I have an idea. Why don't we come up with a petition for Capcom to release an official soundtrack for the Rockman.EXE Axess/Stream/Beast seasons. Who knows? Perhaps they'll hear us out.

Hmmm... I doubt they'd listen to us, us being... non-Japanese and stuff (at least... well some of us may be Japanese but still...), but it could be worth the try :XD: I was just wondering tho... isn't the music in the movie also used in Stream and/or Beast? The only theme I recognized (except for the main theme and credits) was when you see Tomahawkman fight in the beginning of the movie (that theme originally came from Axess :p)

You might want to direct your petition to a different adress. Capcom has no direct saying on what goes in the anime.

ShoPro IS the producer of the series and they're the ones you might want to direct your petitions to. Now, to be honest, I think it would be easier if people just wrote mails to them rather than a petition. As there's a good chance a 'petition' -especialy if you were thinking about an online petition- isn't going going to be read by the staff if you don't directly point the facts to them.

I believe there was a Japanese website that was making up a poll about which series they'd like to see a soundtrack from -the options being Axess, Stream or Beast- I believe it didn't scalate to anything other than 'what the fans want' sort of thing.
