I've been playing silver a lot recently, and I'm building a new team. It's partially finished, but I need some moves for some of the Pokemon...here we go.
Robin/Meganium Level 77 Miracle Seed
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Synthesisi
Light Screen
Typical Sunny Solarbeamer here. Although since I'm not playing any link battles; I was thinking about getting rid of Light Screen for Body Slam.
Sasori/Ampharos Level 64 ???
Thunderbolt
Double Team
?Thunder?
?Rain Dance?
I really like Ampharos, but I'm still deciding what moves to give it. @_@
Jiraiya/Quagsire Level 51 ???
Earthquake
Amnesia
Surf
Toxic
I really don't need a hazer in game, so I replaced haze with Surf. >.<
Itachi/Houndoom Level 62 ???
Flamethrower
Crunch
Curse
?Sludge Bomb?
This was originally a Magcargo, but it's fire/rock combo was beaten into the ground by water; plus Houndoom's faster.
Tsunade/Miltank Level 72 Leftovers
Milk Drink
Psych Up
Shadow Ball
?Body Slam?
This guy is really strong, easily my second strongest Pokemon on Crystal.
Orochi/Haunter Level 52
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Nightmare
Psychic
There it is. It's served me fairly well, though I'm in desperate need for a better moveset for Ampharos. _________________

How about this?
Ampharos
* Cotton Spore (make enemy slow, so it can attack faster)
* Thunder Bolt (or Thunder, really your choice)
* Seismic Toss (LM, or TM, if it's in Silver/Crystal/Gold)
* Thunder Wave
Put majority of EVs into SP attack and HP (divided evenly). This guy hits with Thunder Wave, then after the enemy is paralyzed, hit it with Cotton Spore. This should slow it down enough to give you an edge. Also, with the enemy moving only 25% of the time, consecutive high-level Seismic Tosses will really hurt it. Three turns of 100 damage throws will hurt a lot. And Amphy's HP will take a few hits too!
There, a cool move set for a Silver-version Ampharos! Hope you like it.
The rest of your team looks awesome, and I really like Miltank. Especially with the Defense Curl + Rollout combo. _________________
False Swipe is a great finishing move!

I'd also say that the original moveset I posted for Ampharos would work well for your GSC Amphy...
Thunder
Fire Punch
Cotton Spore/Thunder Wave
Rain Dance
Thunder anything that can be Thunder'd by coupling with Rain Dance, as Amphy has the HP to stand up to nearly anything that might hit it during the setup. If you run into a Pokemon that Electricity will have problems beating on, then forego Rain Dance and use Fire Punch instead. Cotton Spore and Thunder Wave are both good choices for messing with the enemy's mobility, though I'm more partial to Thunder Wave personally.
Amphy can learn Fire Punch in G/S/C by using TM 48, which you can buy at the Goldenrod Department Store for 3000 Poke. _________________

Current Line-Up for Netbattle. This one has one quite a bit of battles actually. I have some impressive battle logs.
It's a pure baton-passer/sweeper team so it's weakness is the lack of a psuedo-hazer but I prefer to take my chances and powerup even further beyond the need of having to Psuedo-haze. This team works a lot better than my phaze/spikes/sweep strategy with Skarmory and Kyogre.
Smeargle @Leftovers
-Spore
-BellyDrum
-BatonPass
-Substitute
Umbreon @Leftovers
-ConfuseRay
-Curse
-Moonlight
-BatonPass
Vaporeon @Leftovers (my star fighter)
-AcidArmor
-Surf
-DoubleTeam
-Substitute
Tyrannitar @Leftovers (my sweeper)
-DragonDance
-HiddenPower (Rock)
-Earthquake
-IceBeam
Marowak @ThickClub
-Bonemerang
-AncientPower
-FocusPunch (no need to Sub-Punch here)
-DoubleEdge
Ninjask @Leftovers
-Substitute
-Protect
-BatonPass
-SwordsDance
Strategy is self explanatory. Smeargle is the starter and has a tendency of being faster than the opponent so Spore starts off. Follow up with Belly Drum and Baton Pass. Next comes Marowak. Commense Physical sweeping. Around 1-4 of their opponents will fall. After Marowak falls, have Smeargle cast sleep again and pass on to Ninjask. Commense speed boosts by constantly using Substitute and Swords Dance if you get a chance while the speed rises each turn due to ability. Pass on to Tyrannitar and resume sweeping with guaranteed speed advantage. If the opponent manages to survive somehow (tank perhaps?) then bring out Vaporeon and commense to annoy the crap out of the opponent with maxed Double Team or Curse passed down from Umbreon :] _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I'd say that definately works in Netbattle, where you can completely control the distrubution of stats.
Though I myself sepcialize in Actual game setups, and speaking of which, here's the setup I currently have for Leaf Green Version. Of course, all of these Pokemon are at level 100.
Kagutsuchi (Charizard)
Male
Blaze
Brightpowder
Flamethrower, Dragonbreath, Steel Wing, Fly
Flamethrower and DB for special sweeping, Steel Wing as filler, and Fly as a scouting move.
Duran (Suicune)
Genderless
Pressure
Leftovers
Surf, Ice Beam, Mirror Coat, Calm Mind
Surf-Beam sweepage. Mirror Coat makes nice use of Suicune's high HP and Special Defense. Calm Mind further helps that Special Defense.
Miroku (Marowak)
Male
Rock Head
Thick Club
Bonemerang, Rock Slide, Double-Edge, Swords Dance
The hard physical hitter. Bonemerang for STAB, Rock Silde as filler, D-E to take advantage of Rock Head, and Swords Dance to boost attack.
Gakutenou (Aggron)
Male
Sturdy
King's Rock
Metal Claw, Eartrhquake, Hyper Beam, Metal Sound
Physical Tank/Sweeper. Metal Claw for STAB, EQ and Hyper Beam for power. Metal Sound aids my special sweepers by messing with the enemy's defense.
Diana (Tangela)
Female
Chlorophyll
Scope Lens
Solarbeam, Giga Drain, Toxic, Sunny Day
Sunnybeamer. Giga Drain and Toxic also make it an annoyer.
Julia (Ariados)
Female
Swarm
Quick Claw
Signal Beam, Spider Web, Sludge Bomb, Agility
Trap an enemy with Spider Web, then swap out to something that can more easily handle the job. In cases where she's the best fit to fight, Agility is the starting move to help with her poor speed, then Signal-Sludge the enemy into submission. _________________
