O.K., first, since I've never said/posted anything about it (aside from explaining a few oddities about the sprites I've posted) a little blatant self-promotion for my little ol' web comic; The Adventures of MegaMet.

Now for the real reason for this post. My youngest brother asked me to redesign and sprite his fan Navi, DigMan. I took a stab at it, and this was the end result. It came out kinda bland in my opinion, but...

And then something I did in a fit of insanity.

yeah, DigMan is kind of bland. was that how it was supposed to look?

and about the purple-insanity-person, was that just a random thought that came to your mind, or what?

Yeah, that's how he's supposed to look. *shrug* It was the best I could do based off of the limited description I got.

Actually, the purple dudette is... well... I'm just not going to go there.

Actually, I used GateMan as a base.

Yet another bland sprite, but when your younger siblings are pestering you, what can you do? I like this design a little better than the last one, but it still seems kinda standard, oh well.

And I have no idea what it is with me and 8-bit sprites lately...

Rush looks like an official sprite. but you're just good that way.

The Rush and Cutmobile sprites look great! And I thought that last one was really funny! Rush looks like he wants a vehicle too!

Seriously though, awesome sprites XD ^^ I love the Rush one-- it looks almost official ^^ --and you know I love the Cutmobile ^^ XD For the Rush one, I only say "almost" official because the head (size/shape) doesn't seem to quiiiiite match the body.

And the Cutmobile needs C's on the hubcaps, or scissor emblems there, or something-- *brick'd again*

Maybe it has some in the front. It is a side view. Plus it might have some cut missles or something like that.

The basic idea was that it had scissors imbedded in the front and the fin on the back is shaped like a scissor. But I think you're right, he does need stylized hubcaps. XD

And now that I look at it, Rush's head is a little too big.

Alrighty... A couple of minor things to display here...

First off, DonJuan A.K.A. ElementalMan asked me to make a sprite of one of his fan characters (I asked for something to sprite and he supplied it, so I did it). I'm not too thrilled with the way the head turned out, but I'm already working on a better rendition.

And then I went back and touched up Rhythm's sprite for the fifth time. Just for the fun of it, I've got the very first Rhythm sprite here for comparison.

Quite a difference, huh?

It looks good so far,... but one nitpick. It might be hard to tell, but the color of the hair and shirt are a deep purple.

One more thing, brightly colored shoes make him sort of look.....clownish?
