Ohhh, now I see why I didn't get it. O.o I was supposed to get a message that said "This forum has been shut down due to abuse. Yes, were talking to you, *insert name here*" I ony know that because I just saw a picture that Kupo.EXE showed us at his board. But I didn't get that message. I got a message that said this instead:

not funny at all, but the adding of the name was a nice touch. Very well excecuted.

I admit, that did surprise me quite a bit. (I accessed the forums on March 31... it was late at night though.)

It was shocking at first, but when I assumed it was for April 1, I thought it was funny. I showed it to my brother and he laughed.

I wasn't quite surprise at first (because every forum logged me out), but what scared me the most was that I couldn't go on to the index page *Oh, no! What'd I do wrong?! XD* At least this is the first joke someone did to me today Razz

And am I stupid?! I notice today's April Fools Day but yet I didn't know this was a prank... >_<

Take it for heart people... alot of you rely on this forum way too much... it's good to take a break and actually DO something now and then and not worry about the intarwebs... granted, I didn't pull any pranks but I hung out with my friends.

At first I was like: "hunh? wha... wha... meh" because I was half asleep... after a few failed attemps I went to GameFaqs it clicked... "It's April Fools!" then I read your entry in LJ and yeah... you know, Ryouko... D:

I really don't see this as a big deal of a problem; I mean, it's just one day without the forum. It couldn't kill you. And besides, you shouldn't feel guilty if you didn't do anything wrong. >___>; Although I SURE did. XD

Hate to say it but, sorry Nobi, last year's was better. This one made me chuckle the first time, can't say the same for the rest of the times I checked to see if the forum was back. Quite simple but didn't really make the trick. Sorry. :\

While I don't mind April Fool's, I just don't think this one was good enough, compared to others like, say, Google's, WPP's, or A-F's. Sorry, really. If anything, I prefer the zerominion attack on the channel for this year.

I never did enjoy April Fool's.(Or is it Fools'?) Hmmph..probably because I don't like a day devoted to fools within one week of my birthday. Sad

But this joke was pure genius, and I was sure I was banned for something. I was really grumpy this whole day. I actually looked back in my mind and checked if I did anything 'ban-worthy' recently.My criminal record isn't exactly what you would call 'perfect'...-_-;;

I think a .Flash file of saying 'Forte EXE will infect your computer in 5 ... 4 .. seconds' and then a giga-explode and then says 'APRIL FOOLS!' would work.

Or just did the one we did. XD.

Kinda got the idea when I clicked on the "I forgot my password" link and only moved back to the same page.
When nobody felt like answering anything related to the forums at the chan's increased my suspicion.

It's scarier at the other chan, though. I was like "WHAH?!", and then "heh".

Now I know why we don't do April Fool's here. >_>
Lots of people where I live bear grudges for a lifetime, even if they already said they've forgiven the joker.
Sometimes people get killed.

Maybe next time we should take the forums down for a week. Seriously boys and girls, I'm sure you all have something else to do than to spend time in a forum ONE day. It was rather easy to figure out yeah, but was something quick that was pulled due to lack of time on most of the staff's part.

It might have been funny if I'd actually seen something somewhere that said the forums had been closed due to abuse or something like that. As it was I just figured that someone had screwed up the coding while preparing for a joke, or that things been gone without explaination was some attempt at a joke.

You'd probably have less people whining if there'd been a way to actually get to the forums during the day instead of them being down entirely. April Fools day jokes tend to be less funny when they inconvience you in a particular activity all day instead of for the minute or so it takes for you to get the joke, or for the whole day solely because you weren't paying attention.
