FINALLY! Chapter 10 here. sorry it took so long. T_T

~CHAPTER 10~

All of Volvagia’s servants and guests ( Maddy and co.) were in his chamber room the next day after breakfast. The servants were whispering excitely to each other, while Maddy looked around nervously.

“ I wonder why Volvagia called us here? He said it was something important, right?” Maddy asked.

“ Yeah,” Match replied, “ but I don’t see him here...”

Then, Volvagia burst out from his room with ‘The Ten Elements’ book in one hand. ( Er, claw?) The Lava Lindworm then said, “ Um, yes... Now, why I called you all here today is... Um...”

“ Go on! Tell us!” a Cyndequil said from the large group of servants.

“ Yeah!” Haly said, “ Ya said it was important, right?!”

“ Ok, then. You see...” Then Volvagia explained about the Ten Guardians while reading the book aloud.

“ Is there a point to telling us this?” Match asked, “ If there is, then I’m not seeing it.”

“ This is where YOU come in!” Volvagia replied, refering to Match.

“ Huh? What about me?”

“ Maddy told me after dinner that your real name is Kenichi Hino, right?”

Match turned to glare at Maddy as he replied, “ Yes. So?”

“ So?! Well, look at this!” Volvagia held up the book to Match and Maddy’s level as he showed them the picture of the last known Guardian of Fire. It was a picture of a teenage boy with frizzy red hair like Match’s.

“ This is the last known Guardian of Fire. His name was Konike Hino,” Volvagia explained.

The chamber then filled with whispers from the servants. Match stared in disbelief as he said, “ So, you think that I’m...”

“ The current Guardian of Fire!” Volvagia finished for him, “ The similarities between you and Konike are not just a quincident! Trust me, this is why you seemed so familiar to me before!”

“ This is so cool!!” Maddy cried while glomping Match, “ I’m downright lucky to have a Guardian as a boyfriend, right?!?” The female servants giggled softly.

“ Of all the people who could be something like a Guardian, it had to be me,” match muttered to himself.

“ What’s wrong, Kenichi-kun?” Maddy asked, “ Don’t go thinking that you’re a freak just ‘cause you’re half-angel, half-human!”

“ No, I’m just... Surprised. But there’s one more thing...”

“ What’s that?” Volvagia asked.

“ How the heck do I make the wings appear?!”

“ Er, well..... I dunno? Think about flying, maybe?”

“ Oh SURE!” Match rolled his eyes, “ And the next thing you know, all I have to do is say ‘Arbracadabra’ and they’ll appear. Yeah right!!” He shook his head and continued, “ Look, King Volvagia, me and this ‘Konike’ might have the same last name and we might look alike, but I think you’ve got the wrong--”

“ Be careful what you wish for, Kenichi-kun,” Maddy said, “ ‘cause it just came true!”

“ Whadda ya mean by that?!” Match yelled.

“ These thingies right here, ov course!” Haly said while standing behind Match, “ Wow, I can’t believe I know an actually Guardian!”

Match felt Haly pulling on something coming from his back, “ Hey, that’s starting to hurt!”

“ Ah, so they aren’t some sort of hologram!” Haly replied, “ They feel so soft and silky, too!”

“ What do you mean by ‘they’?!?”

“ Try putting them in front of you. Y’know, like you do when ya want ta check your hands!”

Match did so, and two crimson colored, feathery wings were in front of him like hands. He cried out, “ What the--?!”

“ Ah ha! I was right!!” Volvagia cried happily.

“ Ok, I admit it; I’m kind of proud that I know I’m a Guardian, but now how do I make them go away for some other time?!” Match asked as he made the wings go behind him again.

“ Try folding them close,” TorchMan suggested. Match did so, and the wings disappeared for the time being.

“ Yes! I found out who the current Guardian of Fire is!” Volvagia whispered to himself, “ K Don is gonna be soooo jealous when he finds out about this!”

“ Well, now that we’ve find out about this,” Haly said aloud, “ since we already had breakfast, how ‘bout we go on to our next destination?”

“ Ok!” Maddy cried out happily.

“ In that, allow me to lead you out,” Volvagia said. He waved his hand at the servants, and they cleared to make a path to the exit. Everyone follow the king outside.

“ Wow! This trip is interesting so far!” Haly said as she lead Maddy and Match down a trail that lead to the other side of the mountain, “ I mean, we meet up with Zweegle and Anemon, but then we find out that Mr. Match is a Guardian! And that his real name is Kenichi Hino!”

“ That’s final!” Match yelled, “ From now on, Maddy is the only one who is allowed to call me Kenichi! Anyone else who tries me is gonna get burned!!”

“ Geez, whaever MISTER Match!” Haly replied while rolling her eyes, “ By the by, since you’re the new Guardian of Fire, you can control fire now...”

“ Really?” WackoMan asked.

“ Yup! Like lighting candles, making solid weapons out of fire, stopping fire from spreading, etc. etc.”

“ So basically I’m a walking lighter now,” Match replied, “ Greaaaat...”

“ Say, how are we going to get to our next vacation spot anyways?” Maddy asked, “ You DO know that I wanted us to go to Yoshi Island, right?”

“ I know!” Haly replied, “ After we get to the next town, we’re taking a train there.”

“ A train?!” Everyone else cried out.

“ Hey, if humans can make bridges for cars to cross on, then the same can go for trains, right?” Haly smiled back at them.

“ I was thinking they did something like an underwater tunnel for the train, not a bridge!” WackoMan said.

“ Underwater Tunnel Trains go to Yoshi Island as well, but they’re more expensive,” Haly explained, “ so that’s why we’re taking a Sea Bridge Train.”

“ Oh,” Everone else replied in relief.

There was another town at the foot of Death Mountain, opposite of Kakariko Village. Maddy, Match, and Haly had already got on their train as soon as they got there, even though it wasn‘t departing yet. Among the huge crowd that was waiting to get on their trains were Beelzemon and Janga, their clothes slightly dirty from the exsplosion Beelzemon caused when he shot the Nejiron back at the mountain.

“ Beelzemon,” Janga said, “ you’re so dumb, I bet you couldn’t outwit a nitwit! Wasn’t it obvious that the Nejiron was made out of gunpowder?!”

“ Stop complaining about that!” Beelzemon replied while holding two green train tickets, “ This time, we can’t screw up! I got the Yoshi Island tickets right here!” He waved them in the air.

“ Don’t do that, or else a theif will see them!!” Janga hissed.

As if on cue, a flash of magenta darted through the crowd, snatched the tickets from Beelzemon’s hand, and disappeared into the thick crowd.

“ See what I mean?!” Janga screeched, “ Now what are we gonna do?!”

“ Time for Plan B then!” Beelzemon yelled.

“ Plan B?” Janga asked, “ What’s tha-- Oh no. There are guards on board the train, so don’t tell me...”

“ We’re gonna do just that!” Beelzemon replied happily. Janga moaned softly.

Zweegle was waiting for Anemon near a long, tropical green train. On the train, several pictures of fruits and Yoshis covered it. In bold rainbow letters were the words “ Yoshi Island Express”. Then, Anemon appeared beside him, hold the tickets she stole from Beelzemon and Janga.

“ Ah, you managed to get some ticketsss,” Zweegle said as he looked at the tickets.

“ Better yet, I stole these from Beelzemon and Janga,” Anemon replied with a smirk, “ so they won’t be able to intefer with us.”

“ Unless they think about stealing away on the train.”

“ They’re dumb, but I doubt that they’re THAT dumb!” Anemon then got onto the train with Zweegle following her. A few minutes later, the train hissed out a cloud of smoke as it left the train station for Yoshi Island.

Cool chapter. The scene with Hinoken's wings reminded me of FLCL, and I don't hate FLCL. The part about Beelzemon was funny too. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Due to a recent deleting of kishuku.com by Ryouko's hosters ( For some odd reason. -.- ) my last three chapters ( 11, 12, & 13) were deleted. Fortunately, the hosters had a back up of kishuku.com. So here's the three chapters that were lost in that little accident. @_@

~CHAPTER 11~

The Yoshi Island Express was moving along the tracks of the bridge smoothly. The water beneath it shimmered under the morning sun. Several water types leaped out of the water, trying to catch up with the train as a game. Maddy and Match were both in their room on the train, Match lying on his bed and Maddy sitting cross-legged on hers. She held what looked like a small clown plushy with orange and red stripes on its clothes, purple pointed shoes, and a fool's cap on its head with bells at the ends. She made one of the bells ring, catching Match's attention.

" What's that?" Match asked.

Maddy looked at him surprised, then looked down at the plushy again and said, " Nothing, just... nothing."

" It doesn't look like nothing, but if you don't want to explain--"

" Fine! Fine! I'll tell you!!"

Match looked at her concerned, " Maddy, you don't have to tell me if you don't want--"

" I'm gonna tell you and that's final!!!" Maddy screeched.

" Fine! Go ahead, tell me."

" You see, this is something I've had for a long time. Since I was about 7, actually. I got it on my 7th birthday, and that was the day before I got WackoMan, and a couple of days before my mother left..." She looked at Match to see if he was listening.

" Go on," he replied.

Maddy sighed and continued, " Well, before then, I was really scared of clowns..."

" You? Afraid of clowns?!"

" Hey, I sneaked into the family room once while Famous and his friends were watching a horror movie! The movie was "IT", unfortunately, and I was scared of clowns afterwards."

Haly K's Comment: "IT" is a horror movie that's based off of one of Stephen King's novels. I only got to watch Part 1, though, but it still scared the heck outta me. ><;;;

Match said, " Ok, so what did you do for your birthday?"

" We went to a fair that had a circus nearby," before Match could reply, Maddy said in an agry tone, " YES, I knew that there would be clowns there, but I tried to be careful so I could go on the rides and go to the petting zoo without meeting one! Anyways, somehow Famous, Rala, and I got lost, and we tried to get back to our parents, but then..."

Haly K's Comment: One moment please! I made Famous Maddy's older brother, and Rala is Maddy's twin sister that I made up. Maddy and Rala are exactly 5 years younger than Famous since they were born on his 5th birthday. Poor Famous. XD *is bricked*

" Then what? Go on Maddy! Did you meet a clown or something?"

" We did, and I was about to cry when he took out some cotton candy from behind his back. He said, ' C'mon sweety! Don't cry! Are you lost?' He gave me the cotton candy, and then he lead us to the Lost and Found Center nearby. Before he left us there to wait for our parents, he gave me this clown plushy," she then held the plushy up, making the bells on its fool's cap jingle.

" And you haven't been afraid of clown since?"

Maddy shook her head while smiling, " Nope! Then the next day, when my dad took me to the Navi Orphanege, I got WackoMan there. His old NetOp abandoned his just cause he looked like a clown! Can you believe that jerk?!"

Haly K's Comment: A Navi Orphanege is where abandoned NetNavis go to get new NetOps. That is, if they WANT a new NetOp. *looks over at StoneMan and BlasterMan* >.>;;

" That's a special way to get a Navi!"

" You think so? That's what Mama said too," Maddy then lied down on her bed and sighed.

" Something wrong? Don't tell me there's nothing wrong, 'cause I can tell something's bothering you."

Maddy sat upright and let her legs hang over the edge of her bed, " Kenichi-kun..."

Match walked over to her and sat beside her, " It's about that Nobody, right?"

Maddy nodded slowly, " Yeah, I'm starting to get worried..."

She then turned to Match with tears in her eyes, " I mean, if the Nobody wants my help, then why is he or she doing it by force?! I know I did some bad things back at the WWW, but I'm trying to make up for it!! I really am!!" she then hugged Match and cried, " I really am sorry for what I did!!!"

" C'mon, Maddy-chan! I'm sure it has nothing to do with that!" Match tried to calm her down, " And don't worry, the others and I are here to help you, ok?"

Maddy replied between sobs, " I h-hope so..." she rested her chin on one of Match's shoulders. She then whispered something to Match.

Match looked surprised as he said, " Huh? Why are you telling me that?"

" You told me your real name, so I might as well tell you mine, right?" Maddy replied.

" Are you... um... going to be alright?"

" I'll be fine. Really! I'll be fine..."

In the one of the cargo cars of the train, Beelzemon and Janga sat under a pile of suitcases and bookbags as the train moved along.

" How long is it gonna take the train to get to the frickin' island?!" Beelzemon cried out, but luckily for him, his cry was muffled by the suitcases.

" About three days," Janga replied while reading a book he found in one of the bookbags. It was called 'THE TEN ELEMENTS: A BOOK ON THOSE WHO REPRESENTS THE ELEMENTS '.

" Dammit! Why did I have to think of Plan B?!" Beelzemon yelled while banging his head against a rather large and hard-looking suitcase.

" 'Cause you're you," Janga said promptly as he continued reading the book. Then his eyes widened, " Huh?"

" What is it now?!" Beelzemon screeched.

" Beelzemon, look at this!!" Janga said as he held up the to Beelzemon.

Beelzemon replied in surprise, " Hey, that Guardian looks like that Match guy!"

" Read these parts, dumbell!" Janga hissed as he pointed out some words and paragraphs.

Beelzemon read the parts Janga had pointed to, and he replied in shock, " No way!! You don't th-think that Match is really..."

Janga nodded in replied. Beelzemon said in shock again, " No way!!"

Meanwhile, in Zweegle and Anemon's room, they were talking to their master through a glowing lapis lazuli.

" So, Kenichi has found out that he's the Guardian of Fire, eh?" their master said, " No matter. Whether he can use his powers or not will not change anything in the plans. Understand?"

" Yes, master. Understood!" Zweegle and Anemon replied in unsion. Then the jewel lost its glow, and Anemon put it away in a small pouch.

" How the massster knowsss thessse thingsss, I have yet to learn," Zweegle said with a sigh.

" It IS strange how she knows," Anemon replied, " but remember: even she doesn't know how she learned of them, so it's best that we don't ask any questions about it."

" True, true," Zweegle said while nodding his head, " By the way, have you ssseen a little Toad run by earlier?"

" Hm? A Toad?"

" Yesss, he wasss ssscreaming sssomething about a big black ssspider. Sssomebody must have ssscared him or sssomething."

" It doesn't sound like a prank to me..."

" What? You actually think that there'sss sssomething dangerousss on board?"

" Maybe. Remeber the time a train heading for Polish Heights was attacked by those furry things? It might be possible."

" You have a good point there."

Somewhere in the engine room, a black spider about the size of a dog clicked its jaws together quietly...

~CHAPTER 12~

Haly, WackoMan, and TorchMan were in the arcade room on the train. Haly and WackoMan were playing Pac-Man ( 2 Player Mode) while TorchMan was watching from afar.

" Yes! Prepare ta get eaten, ghost!" Haly said as her Pac-Man ate a fruit and was heading toward some of the ghost.

WackoMan noticed that two ghost were closing in on his Pan-Man and cried, " Oh no!" as he tried to get out of there, which ended up in his running into a ghost, thus losing his last life.

" Ha! I win again!" Haly cheered as her Pan-Man ate all of the white balls in the maze.

" Grr! I'm not done yet!!" WackoMan growled, " Best 26 out of 50!!"

" You're on!" Haly agreed as they played another round. TorchMan sighed.

" They've been playing for a hour now," TorchMan said to himself, " Aren't they bored yet?!"

" No!" WackoMan and Haly said as they continued to play. TorchMan sighed again.

Back in the cargo car, Beelzemon was reading a manga called 'Kaze no Klonoa: Densetus no San Pendanto!' ( Translation: Klonoa of the Wind: Legend of the Sun Pendant!) while Janga was looking through the suitcases and bookbags.

Haly K's Comment: 'Kaze no Klonoa: Densetus no San Pendanto!' is actually the name of my current Klonoa fan fic. It's currently on hiatus due to writer's block, though. >.>;;;

" What're ya lookin' for anyways?" Beelzemon asked, still reading the manga.

" I'm bored! I have nothing else to do!!" Janga screeched.

" Hm? I think you're being nosy! Kee hee hee hee!!" snickered a high pitched voice.

Janga and Beelzemon looked up. Sitting on top of the highest pile of luggages was a strange creature. Its body was the shape and size of a basketball, with a round white face, black crosses where its eyes were suppose to be like a clown, and sharp red teeth that formed a smile. Its body was covered in red and orange stripes that started at the edges of his face, and it also had cat-like ears and a tail that were also covered in the same colored stripes. It had no arms or legs, but instead it had two gloves floating near the sides of its body, and two pointed purple shoes floating underneath it.

It cackled as it said, " Well, long time no see Jan!"

Janga glared at the thing as he replied in an extremely agnry tone, " It's Janga. Not 'Jan'."
" Whatever, Jan!" The creature said to annoy Janga further.

" How do you know this guy?" Beelzemon asked, " In fact, who is he?"

" His name is Joka. He worked for Ghadius and was defeated by Klonoa, like all the other Klonian villians," Janga hissed.

" Yup! Jok's the name!" Joka said as he giggled madly in a way that really creeped Beelzemon out, " So, what are you and Bee over there doin'?"

" Nothing," Janga replied promtly before Beelzemon could give away anything.

" C'mon, Jan! I know you're after the Diva, Madd!" Joka replied, " I know that she, Match, and Hal are on this train too!"

" And what are YOU doing here?!" Janga yelled before Joka could go on.

" Oh nothing, unless you're thinking I'm gonna stir up some chaos!" Joka replied. Then he giggled madly again as he jumped off the pile of luggages and ran off.

" That little creep," Janga hissed, " He's after something, I can tell, but I
don't think it's the Diva..."

" It might be, but maybe he just wants to get attention," Beelzemon said, and then returned to his manga.

" I hate to admit it, but you're probably right," Janga replied as he return to shift through some bookbags.

Haly K's Comment: Note that Joka calls everyone by the first syllable of their name. EX: Jan - Janga, Bee - Beelzemon, etc. He doesn't talk like this in Klonoa: Door to Phantomile ( Which means he is NOT an original character.) but I deciede to make him talk like this in here. ^-^

Joka was in the engine room now, making sure that everyone had left. He blew a whistle, and several large black spiders crawled out of the corners of the room, and stood before Joka in neat rows.

" Alright boys!" Joka said, " First day is almost over! Did ya creep anybody out?" several spiders nodded, " Good! Tomorrow's a resting day, and the final day before we get to the island, we're gonna cause some REAL chaos! Understand?!" Some spiders nodded, other jumped up and down in excitement, and some even cheered while waving their front legs in the air.

" And they'v been playing for almost two hours?!" Maddy cried.

TorchMan nodded, " They eventually got bored of playing Pac-Man, so that's why they're playing Super Mario Bros. right now,"

Match looked over to where Haly and WackoMan were. Haly was currently playing as Luigi, while WackoMan was waiting nearby for his turn.

" It's almost time for dinner," Match said, " How the heck are we gonna get them away from that thing?"

" Infect it with a virus?" TorchMan suggested. Then he got glares from Maddy and Match, and said, " What? I'm just saying--"

" If it ends up destorying the machine, YOU'RE going to pay for the cost!" Maddy said.

" Um, ok, so what do we do?" TorchMan asked.

" They're probably hungry by now," Match said, " How about we lure them away with food?"

" Good idea!" Maddy and TorchMan said in unsion.

Zweegle was in the engine room earlier, and he had just come back to his room. He opened the door and said to Anemon inside, " There really are ssspidersss on the train! They're in the engine room, and Joka isss controling them! What ssshould we do?"

Anemon replied, " Joka won't go as far as killing someone, you know. Therefore, he won't be much of a threat," then she smirked, " Besides, he could be a good way to test the Diva's powers with the Star Pendant."

" What if the Diva failsss?" Zweegle said.

" Then that makes capturing her more easy for us," Anemon said, " But I doubt she will. I mean, even since Klonoa beat Joka, nowadays even a level 5 Eevee could beat him. That's why he has all of those spiders."

" I guessss..." Zweegle replied with a doubtful tone.

After luring Haly and WackoMan out of the arcade room with some hotdogs, Maddy and co. were all in the dinning car waiting for their dinner.
" I was juat about to beat her high score too!!" WackoMan cried.

Haly stuck her tounge out at the clown Navi and said, " Well, it's not my fault you kept dying!!"

" Enough! Both of you!!" Maddy screamed, " And WackoMan, get inside your PET. Navi's don't have to eat."

" Well, I want to! So there!" WackoMan shot back as he stuck out his tounge at Maddy. Then Maddy grabbed his tounge, pulled it, then let it go causing WackoMan to hit his head on the back of his chair.

" Serves you right for playing two hours straight," TorchMan said from his PET.

" You're just jealous because you don't have hand to grab the joysticks!" WackoMan replied.

" Don't make me get out of here and roast you!!" TorchMan shot back.

" ENOUGH!" Maddy screeched, " Can't we just wait for our dinner in peace?!?"

Then everyone got quiet and waited patiently for dinner. Unknowly to them, though, two small black spiders scurried across the floor, past their table, past the kitchen door, and on into the engine room...

~CHAPTER 13~

After dinner, everyone went to bed. Once in a while a guard would walk up and down the halls of each car, checking for stole aways. Sometime after midnight, Maddy got up and went inside the bathroom. There she stared at her self in the mirror. She stuck out her tounge at her reflection and hissed, " Look at you. You're ugly! Ugly and filthy, with all that make-up you wear. You should be ashamed of yourself! In fact, I'm surprised you haven't relize sooner how ugly you are!"

There was a knock on the door, and from the other side Haly asked, " Maddy, what're ya doing in there? It's, like, one in the morning!"

Maddy replied quickly, " Nothing. What, do you need to go or something?"

Sounding offended, Haly said, " Ov course not! I heard you get out of your room, and I wanted to know what you were doin', that's all."

" Oh. Well, go back to sleep. I'll be done in a minute or so, ok?"

"Whatever," Haly mumbled back as a reply. Then she went back to her own room, and Maddy looked back at the mirror.

" Bleah!" she said as she stuck her tounge out again, " Ugly ugly ugly! U-G-L-Y! UGLY! And filthy, especially with all that powder on your face ! Heck, I'm surprised you haven't been mistaken for a piece of furniture and dusted with a feather duster! Now get that stuff off your face right now, and I don't care if the eye liner and eye shadow are waterproof! You can deal with them later!" she then filled the sink with water and actually washed her face.

One of the black spiders was crawling through the cargo car, searching for something to do. It saw a rather large pile of luggages, and went to inspect it. When it poked its head through the pile, it found, in a small space underneath the luggages, Beelzemon and Janga sleeping soundly. It clicked its jaw softly to itself, but not softly enough to keep Beelzemon from waking up. As soon as he did, he saw the spider and freaked out.

" YIKES! Step on spider!!" Beelzemon cried out as he tried to get out from under the pile, which caused the luggages above to collapse onto Beelzemon and Janga. The spider crawl away quickly to the door, and left the car.

" BEELZEMON GRINGO TONTO!" Janga screeched as he poked his head out from underneath the now collapsed pile, " Why the heck did you wake me up?!"

Beelzemon poked his head out and replied, " Uh, were'd the spider go? And what does 'gringo tonto' mean??"

Janga looked around and said, " There is not spider, you twit! You were probably dreaming. And I think both 'gringo' and 'tonto' mean 'idiot' in Spanish."

" Enough with 'idiot' already!!!" Beelzemon yelled as he punched Janga in the mouth, thus leading to a fight.

Haly K's Comment: I have a limited knowledge of Spanish ( Despite being Hispanic myself. ><; ) so I'm not EXACTLY sure that 'gringo' and 'tonto' both mean 'idiot'. I can tell that it's something close, thou. >.>;

The next morning, Haly had already gone ahead to breakfast, but Match was still wait for Maddy to wake up. He was already dressed when he decided to wake her up himself.

He walked over to Maddy's bed, shook her gently, and whispered, " Madori-chan, you can wake up now!"

Maddy mumbled back, " You're gonna start called me by my real name from now on, aren't you?"

Match smiled as he replied, " Yup. I'm suprised you haven't told me earlier. I mean, Madori is such a cute name!"

" Bleah!!" Maddy said as she pulled the covers over her head more, " I don't wanna wake up! In fact, come back later when it's lunch time!!"

" C'mon Madori, it's a beautiful day! Do you really want to waste it in bed?"

" Yes. No. Maybe. I dunno. Leave a message after the beep. BEEEEP!"

Then Match pulled away the covers and said, " I'll take that second one as a correct answer."

" NO!" Maddy pulled the cover back and covered herself, " Not ready. Go away. Like NOW!"

Match pulled the covers away again, this time dropping them on the floor, " Are you feeling sick or something?"

Maddy hid her head underneath her pillow, " Not sick!"

" Then what's wrong?"

" Nothing."

" If it's nothing, then how come you're acting weird?"

" Me? Weird? Not me. You weird. Weird scotsman!"

Then Match grabbed one of Maddy's arm and dragged her out of bed. Maddy covered her face with the pillow when she got on the floor, " Ok, if you got a mosqitoe bite or something like that, then it's not worth this behavior!"

" Mosqitoe no! No no no no no!"

" Maddy just tell me what's wrong!"

" N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Nothing! Nothing nothing nothing!"

Completely irratated by this at that point, Match yanked off the pillow from Maddy's face, but she simply covered her face with her hands.

" Oh for goodness sake, Maddy!! Just tell what the heck is wrong with you already!!!"

" I told you already: NOTHING!!"

" THAT'S IT!!!" Match then got sat down in front of Maddy and tore her hands away from her face. He then noticed that she had actually removed some of her make-up; there were some freckles on her cheecks that he didn't noticed before. Her eye liner and eye shadow were still on, though. Maddy blushed, making her freckles more noticable.

" Um, ok, maybe not that much of nothing..." Maddy whispered. She saw Match smiling and screeched, " Look, it's not funny, alright?! You said that you thought I'd look cute without the stupid make-up!!"

" Who said I'm laughing?" Match replied, " Besides, the freckles DO make you look cuter. All that's left is the eye shadow and eye liner.

" I know, but they're waterproof....."

" We don't have to worry about that for now. Now, Do you want breakfast or not?"

" I guess..." she then watch Match leave the room to let her get dressed.

The spider that ventured in the cargo car last night returned to Joka in the engine room. It whispered something in his ear, and Joka replied " Jan and Bee? I already know about them! They won't be much of a bother."

Then another spider came over to Joka and whispered something, " Eh?... Zwee and Ann? I didn't know they were here! What's that?..... Working for someone? To get the Diva to help?? Maybe we outta mess with them a bit..."

" Zap, I don't think you should do this," ElecMan said, " I mean, maybe Maddy's just really sick and Match is taking care of her?"

" If she was sick, then she would've send in an e-mail saying so!!" Count Zap shot back. He was right outside Maddy's house, wanting to see what had happened to her.

" Seriously though, I think this is just stupid. I mean, if one of them isn't sick, then when they come back we can just make them work overtime."

" I'm gonna find out what's going on and that's final!"

" One problem: How the heck are we, or should I said 'am I', gonna get into the House System?"

Zap thought for a bit, " Err..... Um, that's easy! We... Uh, we....."

" ... You don't know, do you?"

" Er, there has to be some way through the Net, right?!"

" Y'know, there's a jack-in panel right next to the door. To use when the owner of the house loses the keys."

" Huh? Where?"

" Maddy hid it behind the plants hanging near the door, dofus!!"

Zap found the panel, " Oh! Right! I-I knew that!" He then jacked ElecMan into the security system of the house.

A blue program ran/floated quickly up to ElecMan as soon as he got into the Cyber World and shouted, " Halt, intruder! Don't think that by deleting me that you'll unlock the door!!"

" Look, I'm not a burgular Navi," ElecMan replied, " I'm one of Maddy's friends, and my NetOp and I want to know what happened to her."

The blue program looked at the elec navi suspiciously, " State the name of you and your NetOp! And your Navi Code too!!"

ElecMan sighed, " Name: ElecMan.EXE. NetOp: Jack Zap. Navi Code: 3345289015."

A window opened up in front of the program, " Processing... processing," then the window flashed once and disappeared, " Well, you don't appear to be on Maddy's Friends List, but I have found that your NetOp works at the same resturaunt as her."

" WHAT?! I'm not on Maddy's Friends List?!?!" Zap cried out in disbelief, " Then who is?!?"

The program open a pink window and read aloud the names, " Rala Iroaya, Francis Iroaya, Haruka Hikari, Kenichi Match, Lan Hikari, Maylu Sakurai, Dex Ogreon, Tory Froid, Yai Ayano, Chisao Ogreon, Sal Terrai, Miyu Black, and Ami Mari."

Haly K's Comment: I made up Sal's last name and Ms. Mari's first name. According to the manga ( The English version, though.) Miyu's last name is 'Black', and according to the anime dub Dex's ( Thus Chisao's) last name is 'Ogreon'. As in 'Ogre' maybe?? >.>;

" Wait, Match's real name is Kenichi? And Ms. Mari's real name is Ami?? And who the heck is Rala and Francis???" Zap asked.

" Ah, wait, Miss Iroaya said in her last e-mail that she found out her boyfriends real last name, I should've changed that sooner!" Thus the program changed 'Kenichi Match' to 'Kenichi Hino'.

" Ok, so his real name is Kenichi Hino?" Zap asked, " This is getting wei-- Wait, did you say last e-mail?!"

" When did you get the e-mail?" ElecMan asked.

" Yesterday afternoon," The program replied, " Since the Dream World is closely connected to the Cyber World, that made it possible for Miss Iroaya to send me an--" Then it relize it said too much, " Um, you didn't hear anything!!!"

" Tell me where she is or else!!" Threatened Zap.

The program replied nervously, " Fine! She and her boyfriend Mr. Hino went to the Dream World for a vacation! There!"

" Ah ha! I knew it was something like that!!"

" Should we tell Yahoot about this?" ElecMan asked.

" Just one more thing..." Zap said.

" What?"

" Who are Rala and Francis Iroaya??"

" I'm not going to tell you that!" The program replied rudely, then went off to check on other parts of the House System.

" C'mon Madori-chan! We can do something else besides stay in here all day!" Match said. He and Maddy were in their room that afternoon. Haly and the Navis had gone off again.

" I don't feel like it!" Maddy replied.

" What? You think someone's gonna make fun of your freckles?"

" No! I just don't want to!!"

" Madori-chan, I'm bored!"

" Then go play Sonic Chaos Arcade with Haly!!"

" But I want to do something with you!"

Maddy looked straight at Match, " Really...?

Match blushed madly, " Er, well, that is, you see--"

" Hey, I've got an idea!"

" Oh no..."

Then Maddy threw a pillow at Match, and ran over and glomped him, " Listen up! Either I pummel you with pillows, or you give me a kiss, ok?"

" Is that all? I thought you were gonna-- Wait, those aren't good choices!!"

" Suit yourself!" Then Maddy started hitting Match with some pillows til a myraid of feathers floated in the air.

" Enough! Enough!!" Match said, " Alright, I'll take the kiss!!"

" Yayness!" Maddy cheered as she glomped him again, " Are you ready Kenichi-kun?"

" As ready as I'll every be..." Then Maddy closed her eyes and waited. Match gulped and was about to kiss her when...

" DING DONG! DING DONG!" A bell ranged out as an announcement came on from the speakers throughout the train, including the one in Match and Maddy's room.

" Darn it!!" Maddy cried out in fustration. Match sigh in a relieved way.

" Attention! Attention!" The Toad making the announcement said, " Several large spiders have appeared in Train Car #5. Please stay calm and do not enter or leave this car! Several attendants are already trying to get rid of them as we speak! Thank you," Then the speakers turned off.

" Huh? Spiders?" Maddy asked aloud.

" Maybe we outta check it out?" Match suggested. Then both of them went out of the room and walking towards Train Car #5.

Joka watched the spiders nearby, " Heh, we were suppose to do something like this tomorrow before we got to the island, but I need to get Zwee and Ann out of the way!" Then he cheered on the spiders. There were several spiders trying to knock down a door, and even more spiders came in from other parts of the train, swarming over each other as they tried to knock down the door. Several attendants were trying to stop the spiders with their Pokemon, but the spiders kept sending them back to their Pokeballs. On the other side, Zweegle and Anemon were trying to keep the down closed by pile their beds, chairs, and table in front of it. They pushed against the furniture to try to keep the door from coming down.

" I don't think we can keep the ssspiders out for long!" Zweegle said nervously.

" We keep them out for as long as we can!" Anemon replied, " The Diva might get here soon! This will be a great way to test her abilities with the Star Pendant!"

" But what if ssshe doesssn't--" Then Zweegle was cut off short by the sound of spiders being thwacked aside, " Wait, isss that...?"

" Take that, ya stupid spiders!" A young female voice said on the other side, " Alright, fire spell!" Then sevreal spiders screamed and were deleted.

" That's Haly, not the Diva," Anemon said, " Aparantly she can use her spells with her hammer."

" Arrgh! Retreat! Retreat!!" Joka cried out. The sound of spiders moving away from the door was then heard. It sounded like they were going towards the front of the train.

" Hey! Ya aren't gonna get any that easily!" Haly yelled.

" Haly? Where are the spiders going?" Maddy's voice asked.

" Somewhere to the front of the train," Haly replied.

" Ok, let's roast 'em!" TorchMan said.

" Wait! You two get back in your PETs!" Maddy said.

" Huh? Why?"WackoMan asked.

" I want to see what the Star Pendant can do!" Maddy replied, " Besides, this is a great way for Haly to practice some of her other spells too."

" Good idea!" Haly agreed.

Match said in a concerned voice, " Maddy, maybe I should--"

" Ken," Maddy interrupted him, " I know you're worried that I might get hurt, but I want to see if I can fend for myself! Ok?"

"........... Ok then! Let's get going!" The sound of footsteps could be heard as Maddy, Match, and Haly chased after the spiders.

Zweegle and Anemon moved some of the furniture out of the way, and looked out the door as they ran towards the front of the train.

" Do you think they'll do it?" Zweegle asked.

" Maybe we should go along, just in case," Anemon replied, " After all, the master wants the Diva alive, not dead," She then ran off after them.

" Hu-Hey! Wait for me!" Zweegle said as he ran after Anemon.

Joka and his spiders were now in the engine room. Haly and the others were closing in on them.

" Dang!" Joka said to himself, " What to do? We weren't suppose to get into any REAL trouble until tomorrow..."

Some of the spiders looked at him in a worried way. Other hid behind various machines in the room.

" We'll fight to the bitter end!!" Joka finally decided, " They're out numbered, so Hal, Madd, and Match don't stand a chance against us, right?!"

Several spiders cheered, and the ones who were hiding came out and cheered as well.

" That's the spirit!" Joka cried happily, " We're gonna fight, and we're gonna win!!"

This caused the spiders to cheer even more. Little did they know, Joka was planning on escaping the train during the fight...

Haly K's Comment: Joka, you backstabber!! >: (

Maddy and Haly were listening to Joka on the other side of the door to the engine room.

" Yeah right," Haly muttered, " I bet ol Joka's gonna high-tail it outta here when the spiders start losing..."

" I have a feeling he might do that, too," Maddy replied.

" Madori-chan," Match said, " Can I at least do SOMETHING to--"

" Kenichi-kun," Maddy interupted him, " Stay right there. Haly and I can handle this!"

" Yeah!!" Haly agreed, " Evar heard of 'girl power'?!"

Match sighed, " Fine, I'll stay here then..."

" By the way, ya DO know what the Star Pendant can do right Maddy?" Haly asked.

" Um," Maddy replied, " well, I know it can transform into other things, like a sword..."

" Geez, that's all ya know?!" Haly asked in slight shock, " It can also do different kinds ov spells, summon creatures like Digimon, and it can even give you the ability to shapeshift!"

" Really?"

" Ya forgot to ask your mom what the Star Pendant does, didn't you?"

" Uh, I guess..."

Haly sighed, " Well, be lucky that I'm here ta tell ya that, otherwise you'd only be able to thwack the spiders are with a butter knife!"

" Hmph! Fine then!" Maddy took out the Star Pendant, made it glow, and almost instantly three yellow mini T-Rexes called Agumon appeared to help.

" Now that's more like it!" Haly said. Then she knocked down the door with her hammer and ran inside, followed by Maddy and the newly summoned Agumon.

Heh, now this is more like it! Time to see the Diva's powers!

Haly managed to thwack a few spiders aside, while burning a couple with her Fire Spell as well. The Agumon were do a good job at deleting some spiders as well, but Maddy was still standing near the entrance to the engine room. She was nervous, and almost freaked out when Match whispered from the doorway, " C'mon, Madori! Do something!!"

Maddy swallowed hard and replied, " I..... I can't....."

" You said you wanted to fend for yourself right?"

" Y-Yes..."

" Well, go for it already or else I'll send TorchMan in there!"

" Alright then..."

Maddy held up the Star Pendant again and made the Agumon disappear.

" Huh? What're ya think yer doin'?!?!" Joka cried out.

Maddy smirked, " Come and get me, ya wimpy midget clown!"

" What?!? Midget clown??!!" Joka replied in an angered tone.

" You heard me! I bet a level 2 Zigzagoon could beat you if you have to depend on these spiders for help!" She then stuck her tounge out at him.

Joka threw a fit, " You little brat! You're gonna pay for that!!"

" Look who's calling who little!! And you just rhymed! Are you Grunty's apprentice or something?"

" THAT'S IT!!!" Joka screamed as he lunged toward Maddy. Suddenly, Maddy disappeared and Joka hit the ground were she was face first, " Ow..... Where's you go?!?"

" Try looking up here," Maddy replied from somewhere.

Joka look around, and saw a half-fox half-human creature standing on top of one of the machines. It stood as tall as Maddy, had yellow fur, long purple gloves that had the ying-yang symbol in the back of its hands, whited tipped ears, tail, and feet, a white mane and underbelly, and stared at Joke with cold blue eyes. It smirked as it said in Maddy's voice, " Well? What are you waiting for? Attack me!"

" Neh??" Joka said in a confused tone, " A Renamon?? Are you another one of Madd's summons? Wait, but then how come you sound like Madd??"

The Renamon disappeared and reappeared in front of Joka, " Ever heard of shapeshifting, buddy?" Then she kicked Joka all the way into the wall.

" OUCH!" Joka cried out in pain. He stumbled a bit before saying, " Shapeshifting?! I didn't know the Star Pendant could do that!!"

" Now you know," Maddy replied.

" Um, spiders, attack!!" Joka cried. Several spiders swarmed towards Maddy, only to have her disappear again. They looked around in confusion.

" What?! Where'd she go now!?" Joka said. Then he noticed her standing on another machine.

" Diamond Storm!" Maddy shot several frozen leaves at the spiders, which exploded on contact, thus deleting them.

" That's the way ta do it! Keep it up!" Haly cheered as she thwacked and burned more spiders on the other side of the room. Match, TorchMan, and WackoMan cheered her on as well.

" Um, wait! C-Can't we come to some sort of an agreement?!" Joka asked nervously as a last attempt to try to get out of there.

Maddy disappeared and reappeared before Joka again. One of her paws ( Remember, she shapeshifted into Renamon.) was in a tight fist that started to glow, " I don't think so, clown boy," She then punched Joka with the glowing fist as she cried, " Diamond Punch!"

Joka fell to the ground unconsious. Maddy transformed back to normal. Only a few spiders were left now, and all of them were waving little white flags.

" They're giving up," Haly said as she noticed the white flags, " We won!"

" Neh, I'll get.... revenge!..... Yeah!" Joka said as he started to get up, but was stopped by Maddy stomping on his back, " Er, maybe... not..... yeah."

Several Toads that tried to stop the spiders earlier have finally arrived. One of them asked, " What happened to all the spiders?"

" Maddy and Haly bet them. And Joka too," Match replied. He point towards Maddy and Haly who were now walking out of the engine room, with the spiders with the white flags and Maddy dragging Joka by his tail.

" Maddy, as in the new Diva?!" Another Toad cried out, " Wow, we're lucky the spiders didn't do any real damage!"

Some of the Toads put handcuffs on Joka, and collars on the spiders that were left. One of them, in a blue uniform, walked up to Maddy and Haly and saluted, " Thank you two for stopping Joka and his spiders. We appreciate it!"

" Aw, it was nothing," Maddy replied while blushing slightly.

" That was a great battle!!" Haly cried out. Then she turned to Maddy, " I suggest in da battle ta come, you outta try some spells and larger summonings, ok?"

Maddy nodded, " Okay then."

Hm, the Diva has potential, but she held back most of her power. Anemon and Zweegle will have to test her more...

Anemon and Zweegle stood in the hallway as the Toads passed by with Joka and the remaining spiders.

" The Diva did it..." Zweegle said in a surprised tone.

" What? Do you think she would have failed?" Anemon replied, " After all, she also had the help of Haly."

" If there isss to be another battle," Zweegle said, " Do you think we ssshould make sssure the Diva is alone?"

Anemon nodded, " Yes. If possible, we should get her alone. No NetNavis, and especially no Haly or Match. The master probably wants to see what she can do at her full power."

" Full power?"

" I could sense that she was holding back most of her energy for some reason during the battle. If she fights alone, then maybe she will unleash it all."

" Yesss. By the way, how are we to catch her for the massster?"

Anemon smirked, " Simple. we help her, then she helps us."

" Do you think ssshe will actually fall for that?"

" I'm counting on it," Then Anemon headed back for her room with Zweegle following her.

Beelzemon and Janga were cornered in the cargo car. Not by spiders, but by some attendant Toads and their Mightyanas, Liloone, and other kinds of Pokemon.

" Can't we come to some sort of agreement?" Janga asked, " Like washing the floors of the train for a week? Or serving the riders their food?"

" Stealing away on a train is still worthy of a snetence in prison," One of the Toads replied. The others agreed with her.

" Aw, c'mon!!" Beelzemon whined, " Can't we do something to get the sentence off our backs?"

" Nope," Another Toad said.

" But..."

Then a Toad cried out, " Liloone! Tackle attack now!!" One of the slender Liloones tackled Beelzemon and pinned him to the ground. The other Pokemon ganged up on Janga.

" We're handing you two other to the Yoshi Island police as soon as we get there tomorrow!" The first Toad said, " For now, you'll be staying in a place where we like to keep our stole aways..."

" Uh oh," Beelzemon and Janga replied in unsion. They certainly didn't like the sound of that.

" Today was great!" Maddy said. It was now afternoon, and she and the others were back in their room.

" Yup!" Haly agreed while on the floor, drawing random pictures, " We fought Joka an' those pesky spiders and won!"

" And tomorrow we'll be on Yoshi Island!" WackoMan added happily.

" C-Can I stay in the hotel?" TorchMan asked nervously.

" How come?" Maddy asked.

" I'M A FIRE NAVI, FOR FRECK'S SAKE!!!" TorchMan yelled.

" Wimp!" Haly muttered as she started to write something.

" I heard that!!" TorchMan shot back.

" Fine, little Ryu can stay in the hotel room then," Match said.

" Don't call me that," TorchMan replied bitterly.

" Ryu? Doesn't thet mean 'Dragon'?" Maddy asked.

" Yeah, that's what I can him when I was a kid," Match replied.

" By the by, I just figured something out about your name, Ken!" Maddy said happily.

" What?" Match asked.

" 'Kenichi'. 'Ken' means 'Sword' and 'ichi' means 'one'! So your name means 'One sword'!

" My mom named me that on purpose. She came from a samurai family, after all."

" Wow, so you're a Guardian AND a samurai?! This is so cool!" Maddy glomped Match.

" Hey, I made this fer ya!" Haly said as she handed Maddy some sort of list.

" What's this?" Maddy asked.

" Well," Haly replied, " If you two every get married and have kids, you could use that list for names for 'em!"

" Waaaaaaay too early to think about those kinds of things," WackoMan said.

" Seiz you!" Haly shot back. Then Maddy started giggling madly.

" What's wrong?" Match asked. Maddy showed him Haly's list and pointed to a name, "..... 'Kenichi Jr.'..." Then he rolled his eyes, " Ha ha, very funny Haly."

" Sorry, but I couldn't help myself!" Haly replied with a smirk, which resulted in being hit by a flying pillow.

I'm getting a kick out of this Haly. You've weaved the different series together so well. Wackoman is hilarious with his Chopper plushie, and his lines. "Best 26 out of 50?". The story is getting deeper and better by the chapter, keep up the good work!

Transcendent Super Spiral Dreadnought Gunmen

~CHAPTER 16~

The next day, the train pulled into the Yoshi Island Train Station. Near the back of the train, the luggages of the travellers were being pulled out. A rather large box that was shaking violently was placed aside, though. Two voice seem to be talking inside the box.

" If this thing didn't have holes, I would've died by now!!" One voice screeched.

" Aw, shaddup!!" Another voice replied, " As soon as we get outta here, I'm gonna--"

" You're gonna what?" A Toad asked from nearby. Several Pokemon were surrounding the box, all growling at it.

" Er, nothing, I g-guess," The second voice whispered nervously.

Then, two Yoshis ( The {Usually} green dinosaur characters from Mario.) one blue and the other red, both wearing police uniforms, walked up to the box. The blue one asked, " Are these the two stole aways?"

The nearest Toad replied, " Yup, that's them. We also found out that they were originally Trigoya's servants."

" Good thing the Diva managed to catch them!" The red Yoshi said, " We'll take 'em over to HQ from here."

The red Yoshi pulled out a small half-red half-white ball and threw it into the air. It opened up, and a beam of white light jumped out of it. Where the beam had stuck, which was near the box, a large bluish colored dinosaur appeared. It had ears like a fox, and a large flower tree-like pant was growing out of its back. It yawned, " Sauuuuur..."

" Venasaur!" The red Yoshi said, " Use Vine Wip to carry that box on your back!" He pointed at the large box which was still shaking violently.

" Vena!" The dinosaur said. Then, two long vines slide out from the plant on its back and wrapped around the box. Like tentacles, the vines heaved the box on Venasaur's back, who then follwed the Yoshi officers as they started walking away.

" I don't like this one bit!!" The first voice inside the box cried, " I hate to say this, but Beelzemon!! DO SOMETHING!!!"

" Like I said before, SHADDUP!!" The second voice shot back, " Man, do I really have to stay in here with this dumb cat?!"

" Vena, Venasauuur," The Venasaur carrying the box replied.

" I didn't ask for your opinion!!!" Beelzemon yelled.

Nearby the beach, a huge many-storied building stood near the boardwalks and shops. It windows shone in the sunlight, and above the main entrance was a sign that said "Yoshi Island Palace Hotel." Maddy and the others had already gotten into their rooms, and were now deciding what to do.

" Well, what do we do now?" Haly asked, sitting on the floor of Maddy and Match's room.

" First, leave me here!" TorchMan said from his PET, " Then you can decide on whaever!"

" We can't go swimming, or at least I can't," Haly said while nodding her head.

" How come?" Maddy asked.

" It's not that I have hydrophobia or anything like that," Haly explained, " Y'see, like my cousin Klonoa, I'm not a very good swimmer. Shallow water that you can walk in, I can handle, but something like the ocean....." She shuttered, " Well, basically, it's kinda a cat thing."

" That rules out swimming," Match said.

" No it doesn't!" Maddy replied happily, " You and me could go swimming, and Haly could go exploring near the tide pools or something!"

" Yay tidepools!" Haly cheered.

" Can I go with her?" WackoMan asked.

" Wait a minute!" Match interruped them, " You didn't tell me to bring my--"

Maddy covered his mouth, " I bought you a new swim suit before we came here," Then she whispered to him so Haly wouldn't hear, " Sorry, but that speedo of yours even creeps me out!"

Match glared at her and hissed back, " Well, you should have said so!!"

" Y'know, you guys shouldn't really whisper around me," Haly said, " I have very sharp hearing, so I know what you said. So, Mr. Match has a speedo?"

" ENOUGH! Go out with WackoMan to the tidepools aready!!" Match said in an angry tone, carrying Haly by her collar to the door.

" Oi! Ya don't have ta do that!!" Haly screeched, squirming around to try to get free. Match let go, and Haly left the room. WackoMan appeared and followed her.

Match turned to Maddy, " So now what?"

Maddy got up, grabbed Match by the wrist, and said with a smile, " Swimming, of course!" Match sighed in response.

In a nearby resturaunt called " The Carvanha Shack," Anemon and Zweegle were having lunch.

" Neh, how are we going to get the Diva again?" Zweegle asked while taking a bite out of a hamburger, " Help her, then ssshe helps us?"

" Actually, I have second thoughts on those plans," Anemon replied, cutting a piece of her steak with her fork and knife, " We'll leave that as a last resort." She then ate the piece of steak on her fork.

" Then what DO we do?" Zweegle took a sip of his soda.

Anemon pulled out a small red amulet in the shape of a rose bud and held it up to Zweegle, " Know what this is?"

Zweegle almost spat out his drink when he saw the amulet, " I-Isss that... the Rossse of Piranha?!?"

Anemon smirked, " Yes, and I think that Lava Piranha would like to wake up from his little nap, don't you?"

Zweegle stuttered, " B-But.... If we wake him up..... It could be catassstrophic!! They'll ssstart calling this place Lavalava Island again if we ussse it!!"

" If we use it the wrong way, that'll happen."

" Huh?"

" You'll see. I'll explain later," Then Anemon put away the amulet, cut off another piece of steak, and ate it. Zweegle ate his hamburger more slowly now.

Down near the beach, near the jungle of Yoshi Island, and away from the hotels, boardwalks, and peirs were several tidepools. Some were tiny, other large, but they were all filled with sea life.

" Yay tidepools!" Haly cheered as she hopped from one stone in the pools to another, " Starfishes, calms, and sea urchins! Oh my!"

WackoMan looked down into one of the pools. A large pinkish sea slug crawled slowly towards him. He backed away slowly, " Neh, slimey stuff."

" Say, you look weird when ya aren't balanced on yer ball," Haly said, gigging since WackoMan looked like he wore a dress without being on top of his ball.

Haly K's Comment: I wonder if the makers of MegaMan made WackoMan look like that on purpose. XD *is bricked*

" B-Be quiet!!" WackoMan shot back, " These things are too slimey!"

" They're SUPPOSE to be slimey!" Haly said while rolling her eyes. Then she hopped the WackoMan's side and said, " Wanna look for pearls?"

" Pearls? Aren't they hard to find?"

" Ov course not! We just gotta look in a bunch ov oysters, and there are plenty of those here!"

" Um, ok..." So they started walking along the many tipepools.

" Hey, WackoMan! What's slimey and has 8 ov something?" Haly asked while following the clown Navi.

" Slimey and 8 of something?" WackoMan said, " If that's suppose to be a joke, then it's--" Suddenly, he felt something long and very clammy on his right arm. He freaked out and fell into a nearby tidepool. Haly started laughing maddly. She was holding up a bright red octopus, whos arms were writhing to and fro.

" An octopus, that's what!" Haly replied.

" That wasn't funny! I could've landed on a sea urchin or something!!" WackoMan screeched, " And put that thing back! It could bite you with its beak, you know!!"

" Aw, but can't ya see? We need this fella to find pearls!"

" Huh? How's that thing gonna help?"

" Octopuses eat shellfish by breaking da shells with their beaks, right?" WackoMan nodded in reply, " Well, we can use him ta break open the oyster shells. Plus, he gets a meal out of this by eating the meat inside!" The octopus seemed to get excited by the plan. Its beak snapped quickly several times.

" Ok then!"

" By the way, a starfish is crawling on your hand."

WackoMan rolled his eyes, " Yeah right, like I'm gonna fall for THAT old trick!"

" No, seriously!" Haly pointed to WackoMan's left hand, which was in the water.

A bright orange starfish was on his hand, and was starting to crawl up his arm. WackoMan freaked out instantly, and he flailed his arm wildly to try to get it off. This made Haly laugh maddly again.

Wow. 17 chapters and still going. I think this'll be the longest fan fic I've ever written. Then again, this is one of my only real fan fics. Erm, onto the new chapter now. :puku:

~CHAPTER 17~

" Kenichiiiiii," Maddy said while standing outside a changing booth on the beach in a bikini, " You know you're gonna have to come out of there sooner or later."

" I don't have to come out!" Match shot back from inside the booth. He was wearing a pair of red swimming trunks.

" What? You don't like the swimming trunks I bought you?"

" I appreciate it and all, but you made me come here without my own opinion!"

" Admit it, you just don't want to come out of there."

" Why not?"

Maddy smirked, " Because you just don't want to see me in a bikini!"

" WHAT?! I-it's not b-b-because of th-that!! R-Really!!"

" Then why do you sound so nervous?"

" Er..."

Then Maddy sang, " Admit it, you think I look se--"

" DON'T finish that sentence...!"

" Then I'm right about how you think I look?"

"..... Yes."

" Good boy! Now just come out of--"

" For the last fricking time, I'm not coming out of here!"

" What now?"

" I know for certain you're gonna drool over me."

Maddy reached inside the booth, pulled out Match, got his head in an air lock, and screeched, " You take that back right now!!"

" Ow! Alright! I take it back! I take it back!!"

Maddy let go of his head and dragged his by his arm towards the beach, " You better. Now let's do some swimming!"

' I told you that you shouldn't have gotten that gym membership,' A voice inside Match's head said, ' But do you even bother to listen to your own brother? Oh nooo. You just HAD to be the rebellious one in the family, didn't you?' Then the voice laughed.

' Shut up,' Match replied harshly, ' Just leave me alone Ryu. YOU'RE the one who wanted to stay at the hotel, you know.'

' So sue me if I have hydrophobia! It's natural for Fire-types!'

Haly K's Comment: That little voice will be explained later on. Or in another fan fic. Whichever way works, I guess. >.>;;

Elsewhere on Yoshi Island, near the tall, sky blue, dome-roofed police station, several of the police where searching the area nearby with their Pokemon. Apparently, the two stole aways that were caught earlier managed to escape from their little box. The one who keeped cursing at the officiers was hiding some guns, and managed to blow off the top of their 'cell' with them. While the police continued to search, Beelzemon and Janga were hiding in a nearby bush. Both of them were slightly covered in gunpowder from the explosion of Beelzemon's guns.

" You and your stupid guns," Janga muttered.

Beelzemon turned to Janga and glared at him, " Hey, they got us out of that box y'know!!"

" But NOW the cops are after us!"

" Then let's head to the beach! We can get our luggage back later!"

" You DO realize that that'll make it easier for the cops to find us, right?"

" Can we go anyway?"

" You just wanna see the women there in their bikinis, don't you?"

Beelzemon sweatdropped slightly, " Er, not really. I mean, the Diva might be there swimming or something, y'know?!"

" Pervert. You're lucky you brought up the Diva, otherwise I wouldn't agree to it."

Then, Beelzemon and Janga left the bush and headed toward the beach.

The red octopus Haly found earlier was cracking the shell of a rather large oyster. A large, slow cracking sound came from beneath it, and it pulled out the oyster it had just broke with one of its tentacles.

" Alright! Lemme see," Haly said as she took the oyster from the octopus. She started searching though the folds of pale yellow flesh for a pearl.

" Wow, octopuses are smarted than they look!" WackoMan exclaimed, holding a small basket with about 7 pearls inside, " It's cooperating with us so well."

" Da pural word for 'octopus' is 'octopi', not 'octopuses'," Haly corrected the Navi.

WackoMan tilted his head to one side, " Really? That's weird."

The octopus started snapping its beak quickly. Haly said to it, " Hold it! I'm almost done!" Then she found a small, shiny white pearl. She placed it in WackoMan's basket and gave the flesh of the oyster to the octopus. It gobbled it up quickly, and started snapping its beak again.

" We have about 8 pearls so far," WackoMan said, " What are we gonna do with them, anyways?"

" Well," Haly replied, " Since we need WAY more than this to make a necklace, I guess we should just cash 'em in. I need to save up money for a Navi anyways."

" Wait, you can get Navis here?"

" Ov course! Sometimes, merchants here will go into the Human World, get a couple of PETs and Navi Maker Programs, then sell 'em here."

" So what kind of Navi do you want?"

" I dunno about the design of it yet, but it'll definately be a Triple S Navi!"

" Triple S?"

" Yup! That stands for 'Strategy, Strength, and Speed', which are what most people say you need to win a battle."

The octopus snapped its beak quickly again. WackoMan look at it, " The octopus is getting hungry again. Let's find another oyster before its starts biting..."

" Ok!" Haly picked up the octopus, and followed WackoMan to the other tidepools.

Deep within the jungles of Yoshi Island, Zweegle and Anemon were trying to find their way towards Mt. Lavalava. The jungle was thick with thousands upon millions of trees, bushes, vines, and other vegetation. High above, Mankeys and other animals swung from tree to tree, vine to vine. Zweegle was definately not enjoying this, for he had a myraid of mosqitoe bites, and several times before an Aipom or some Pikmin had jumped out of the bushes, scaring him half to death.

" Where the heck isss Mt. Lavalava?!" Zweegle cried out while scratching a mosqitoe bite on his neck in the shape of a Mettaur, " I ssshould've brought sssome insssect repellent..."

" Quit your whining!" Anemon said in an annoyed tone. For some reason, she had no bites, possible because she had fur.

" But we ARE getting clossse, right?" Then a mosqitoe buzzed around, before biting Zweegle on the nose, causing him to slap it. " Ow! Ssstupid mosssqitoes!!"

" Yes, we are getting closer," Anemon replied bitterly, " There should be a raven nearby soon..."

" A raven?"

" Shh!" Anemon placed a mouth over Zweegles mouth, " There's one! Right in that tree!" She point to one of the branches of a nearby tree. Perch on it, was what looked like an indigo, eggplant-shaped blob with a yellow beak and talons. Its beady eyes were shut tight in sleep.

" That thing's suppose to be a raven??" Zweegle asked with Anemon's hand still over his mouth.

" The ones from Paper Mario, you twit!" Anemon then walked ahead past the tree, " Mt. Lavalava should be nearby. The ravens are always nearby the volcano."

" Ok. If you say so," Zweegle followed Anemon deeper into the jungle. The raven, however, had one of its eyes open and watched them leave. It then took off from the branch to its leader somewhere else in the jungle...

~CHAPTER 18~

Haly K's Comment: One moment please! Cameo apperance alert! Copygirl Zoe.EXE is copyright of... well, Copygirl Zoe.EXE, a new friend of mine on the REO forums. >.>;; She might stick around for a few chapters. I make this stuff up as I go along. ( Well, technically, I think of a basic plotline, then add/change a few things here and there as I write. Um, on with the new chapter now. =_=;; )

Sirens went off through out SciLab. A Navi had, somehow, hacked into the SciLab Network, and stole a valuable file labeled 'SYNCRO CHIP DATA'. The theif moved quickly through the shadows of the Net, leaving her persuers far behind. She looked back and smriked; that new SpeedBoost program she bought was worth the 70,000 Zennys.

" She's getting away!" One of the SciLab defense Navi cried, stating the ovbious.

" Not for long!" Another one said. He shot his buster at the theif. It missed, but managed to get her stuck in a syrupy substance.

" Dang! I'm not going down like this!" The now trapped Navi said, " The humans at Neo WWW are gonna pay a lot for this file!"

" Yes!" The Navi who shot cheered, " We've got h--" He stopped.

The female Navi, still too far away to see distintly, was changing shape. Suddenly, a huge black dragon was standing where the theif was.

" What the--?!" One of the Navis cried out. The dragon shot several fireballs at them, not deleteing them, but forcing them to log out. After burning the sticky substance away, she transformed back into her original form and ran off.

" She's getting away with the file!" A scientist in the real world reported.

" Get the firewalls back up!" Another one with glasses commanded, " She won't escape that easily."

The humans rebuilt the firewalls, and brought them back up. The Navi skidded to a stop as she saw a towering red cyber wall before her.

" Darn it! I was so close!" She cried out in fustrastion. She was about to hack the wall again when a light blue portal opened up nearby.

" Where'd that portal come from?!" The scientist with glasses cried out.

" I've scanned it," Another one replied, " but it says 'Source: Unknown area'."

" Unknown area?! Th-That's impossible!"

" Impossible?! Nothing's impossible!" The theif said with a laugh, " This makes my getaway easier!" She leaped into the portal, and as soon as she disappeared, so did the portal.

The scientist with glasses turned to the one who had scanned the portal, " Are you sure the source of that portal was unidentified?"

The other replied, " Yes, I'm cer--" Then his computer beeped, " Huh? Wait, some data on the portal just appeared on my computer..."

" What is it?"

He checked his computer, " I don't know what it is..... It says 'Yashia Izrakau'... What's that suppose to be?"

" Yashia Izrakau," The other repeated, "..... Wait a minute..."

" What is it Famous?"

Famous replied, " Yashia Izrakau..... That means 'Yoshi Island' in the Ancient language!"

" Ancient language? Wha??"

" I'll explain later, just let me use your computer for a minute!" The scientist moved aside, and Famous typed what looked like an e-mail...

Oysters here and oysters there.
Oysters oysters everywhere!

WackoMan had to cover his ears ( Wait, I don't think he has noticable ears.) to prevent his hearing program from deleting itself from Haly's song. She was singing extremely off pitch, and repeated the same thing over and over again as she skipped down the path, with basket in hand, by the tidepools ahead of WackoMan.

" ARGH! Stop it Haly!!" WackoMan screeched over Haly's song, " It's annoying!!"

" But being annoying is my favorite hobby!" Haly replied.

" Being annoying is suppose to be Maddy's hobby!! And mine too!!"

Haly stuck out her tounge at WackoMan, " Bleah! Whatever. At least I have enough pearls to order a Navi! Bweeee, 18 pearls! I'm surprised no one else has bothered to look for pearls here!"

" Neh, can we go get some ice cream or something? It's getting hot..."

" Alrighty then! I'm getting kinda hungry anyways."

Suddenly, a green cyber window popped up in front of WackoMan. Haly turned around, " What? You can still check e-mail 'n stuff even though you're out of the PET?"

WackoMan checked the window, " Oh, Maddy's got an e-mail from her brother... I wonder why he--"

Haly ran over to the window, " Lemme see it! Read it! Read it!"

" No way! That'd be like back stabbing!"

" Well, what are we suppose to do? Find her? We don't even know where she is!"

" She said she went swimming, remember? Are there any good swimming spots here?"

" Well, there's one spot near a coral reef where the ground is kinda like a [very] small cliff near the water, and you can just jump in ta see the fishies and--"

" Then let's go!" WackoMan grabbed Haly and ran off back to the city.

" It's the other way, clown boy!!" Haly screeched.

WackoMan stopped, " Oh, sorry..." Then he went the opposite way.

Past the tidepools was a spot were the edge of the sandy ground plunged deep into the water like a small cliff , the top only about an inch above the water's suface. In the water, a giant coral reef could be seen nearby, with a myraid of fish, Water Pokemon, and others of the like swimming nearby. Maddy and Match were gazing into water on the 'cliff'.

" This'll be a nice place to swim, don't you think?" Maddy asked.

" What if there's sharks or something else like that nearby?" Match said.

" You're just scared to swim!"

Match blushed, " No I'm not!"

' Yes you are,' said the voice in Match's head, ' Just get it over with and admit it.'

' Shut up,' Match shot back, ' And for that matter, stay in your own head!'

" C'mon Ken!" Maddy pleaded, " I wanna swim!"

" Then go ahead. I'll just stay here and watch you."

' Pervert alert! Pervert alert!'

' I told you to STAY in your own head!!'

Maddy started tugging on Match's arm, " But it'll mean more fun if we both go in!"

"..... 'more fun'??"

" I didn't mean it in a... bad... way!"

' Yes she did.'

' Will you stop that already?!'

" Maddy, I don't feel like swimming right now..."

" Fine," Maddy then pushed Match into the water. He came bursting out of the water.

" Wait, that wasn't fair!!"

" So? If you didn't want to come at all, then you should've just said back in the hotel!"

" Huh?"

" What? You think I wasn't gonna give you a choice? The only reason I dragged you over here was because you never bothered to say no."

" Wait, I had a choice? Why didn't you tell me that in the first place?!"

" You're more used to girlfriends who drag you along and don't care about your opinion on things, huh?"

" Well, yeah..."

Maddy jumped into the water and glomped Match, " Aww, you poor thing! Consider yourself lucky that you now know that you have a girlfriend like me! I'll go along with any decision you make, or we can do it vice versa sometimes, ok?"

" Er, alright, I guess..... Wait, since I didn't want to go swimming, can I leave now?"

That made Maddy angry, " WHAT?! And leave your own girlfriend all alone?!? What if Beelzemon or some other creep comes along and kidnaps me?! I can't believe you THIS irresponsable!!" Then she turned away from Match.

" Geez, I was just asking!" Match started swimming circles around Maddy, " So, what now?"

" Kenichi-kun... Could I ask you a question...?"

Match stopped in front of Maddy, " Yeah, go ahead."

Maddy stared at him seriously, " How long..... have you..."

" Have I what?"

Maddy gulped and whispered, " How long have you liked me?"

Match blushed madly and looked away, " Er, well..."

" I really want to know..."

Match sighed, " Remember when you convinced me to use what was left of TorchMan to rebuild him as HeatMan during that one Grave incident...?"

" Yeah, so?"

Match smiled at her, " So? If it hadn't been for you, I probably wouldn't have a Net Navi right now!"

Maddy blushed, " C'mon... I didn't do anything..... If you and TorchMan weren't like brothers, then you wouldn't have agreed with me back then..."

" I don't care. I still owe you one for that."

" Um, well, thanks... I guess..."

" Kopo?"

Match looked at Maddy, " Was that you?"

Maddy looked confused, " Huh?"

" Kopo! Kopomon!"

Maddy jumped out of the water onto the shore, " Eeek! What was that?!"

Match got out as well, " I dunno..."

" Kopopo! Ko!" A small dark blue ball with fins on its side and one on top of its head appeared in the water. It had a yellow upside down triangle on its forehead, and a long fish-like tail. Its beady black eyes looked at the two humans, " Kopo kopo!"

Maddy saw it and squealed, " Aww, it's so cute!!!"

' I hate it when girls squeal like that,' The voice returned.

' Guess what?' Match replied to it, ' Not my problem. Now GET!'

" Hewwo, little cutie!" Maddy said as she put her hands in the water, " C'mon, don't be shy! I won't hurt you!"

The creature sort of tilted his 'head' ( Meaning whole body) to one side, " Kopo?"

" That thing could bite, you know," Match warned Maddy.

Maddy glared at him, " It's so cute! How could something so adorable be even the slightest bit evil?!"

The creature swan over to Maddy hands and got on them. Maddy held it up to her as it said, " Kopomon!"

" Kopomon? Is that you name little fella?" Maddy asked it.

It 'nodded' and replied, " Ko!"

" It must be a Digimon, ovbiously," Match said, " but I've never heard of a 'Kopomon'..."

" Then it must be a new one," Maddy hugged Kopomon, " You're so adorable, you know that cutie pie?!"

Kopomon replied happily, " Ko! Kopopo!"

Maddy looked over at Match, " Can I keep it?"

Match shrugged, " Hey, you're the one who's goning to take care of that wee thing, so don't bother asking me."

" YAY!" Maddy hugged Kopomon again, " I wonder what kind of Digimon you'll Digivovle into?"

" A Divermon?"

Maddy glared at Match, " Don't even joke like that." Then she grabbed his arm and pulled him towards the city, " C'mon, let's go get some lunch!"

" What?! But we only swam for like 10 seconds!!"

Maddy turned to Match, " So you're not hungry...?"

" Well, kinda..."

" Then let's go!" Maddy tugged him again as she moved on. Match sighed and followed.

" Are you sure Maddy and Match went to the Dream World?" MagicMan asked ElecMan. Zap and ElecMan had just come back to the #2 Curry from Maddy's house.

The elec Navi nodded, " The program in Maddy's house network said he recieved an e-meil from her while she was there."

" What's are we suppose to do now, guts?" GutsMan asked, " Maddy said that the only way into the Dream World is through a portal or by da Star Pendant, right, guts?"

" Yeah," Dex agreed with his Navi, " There's pretty much nothing we can do til she and Match come back."

" But can't we do SOMETHING?!?" Zap yelled, " I don't wanna stand around here all day waiting for them to come back!!!"

" Why do want to find them, anyway?" Yahoot asked.

" Yeah, why DO you??" Dex agreed.

" Erm, well..." Zap thought about that for a while.

ElecMan broke the silence by saying, " Zap is Maddy's stalker, that's why."

" HEY! I'm not a stalker!!" Zap protested, " I'm just worried about her!! Besides, I had rights to her beofre Match did!!"

ElecMan smirked, " See what I mean?"

" Either way," Yahoot said, " I think Zap is just overreacting."

" He ALWAYS overreacts about things!" Dex said.

" B-But--!" Zap was trying to say.

" Enough, Zap," Yahoot interrupted him, " Back to work." Yahoot and Dex went back to cooking curry.

" But what if something bad happens to Maddy?!" Zap screeched.

" Just drop it, Zap," ElecMan replied, " We all know that Maddy will pull some kind of trick with the Star Pendant if we try to fire her. Now, wash those dishes!"

Zap sighed and went to the sink to wash a large pile of dirty dishes that were waiting for him.

Hopefully the next chapter will have some actually ACTION in it! Man, I didn't realise how fillerish my chapters were until now. @_X;; I hope I can change that in my furture chapters and fics. T_T;; ( I have no self confidence what so ever. And the fact that I've been feeling depressed lately hasn't helped either. x.X;; )

~CHAPTER 19~

Haly and WackoMan meet up with Maddy and Match as they were heading back to the city. Haly was amazed by the Kopomon they found, and interupted WackoMan before he could explain why they were looking for Maddy, " Wow! So that's a Kopomon. I heard that they're really rare!"

" Yeah, and he's so cute, right?!" Maddy squealed.

" Kopopo ko!" Kopomon said.

" Why were you two looking for us again?" Match asked.

" Um, oh yeah!" WackoMan replied, " Maddy got an e-mail from her brother Famous, so we--"

" Wait, you can still check for e-mails even though you're out of your PET?"

" Uh, I guess technically, I'm still connected to the PET, or... um.... something like that..."

" We can read it later," Maddy said, " I say we get something to eat first!"

" Ko! Kopopopo!" The Digimon in Maddy's arms said.

" Yeah! I'm hungry!" Haly agree.

Match looked over at Maddy and asked, " Don't you think it'd be better if we read it now?"

" But I'm huuuuungry!" Maddy whined.

" Kooooooo!" Kopomon echoed.

Match sighed, " Fine. Let's go then."

" Wahoo!" Maddy and Haly said in union.

The theif Navi that had escaped from SciLab before was now trying to find her way through the thick jungle of Yoshi Island. The humidity was starting to rise, and it was starting to irratae her. She blasted any flies or mosqitoes that dared to come nearby her with her buster.

" What part of the Net is this?!" She cried out, despite no one being near to hear her, " This is probably the Brazillia Net. I'm gonna get a cyber ticket back to DenTech City as soon as I find a--" She stopped. Some bushes up ahead were rustling. She slowly and carefully creeped over to where some voices could be heard.

" Anemon, you sssaid that the volcano would be nearby asss sssoon asss we sssaw a raven!" One voice whined.

" Shut up!" Another voice replied harshly, " We're almost there, so don't make me cut your throat Zweegle!!"

" Anemon and Zweegle?" The Navi whispered to itself, " Those two are from the Klonoa games! I don't think I'm in the Brazillia Net..."

" What do you plan on doing with Lava Piranha once we awaken him?" Zweegle asked.

" That's for me to know and you to find out when we get there!" Anemon shot back. They the Navi heared them move on through the jungle.

" Lava Piranha, eh?" The Navi said with a smirk, " I think I might get more out of this than just the zennys from Neo WWW!" She quietly followed Anemon and Zweegle deeper into the thick mass of plants...

Nearby one of the peirs on the beach, a hotdog stand was serving several hungry customers. A small, red, lizard-like creature with a horn coming out of the back of its head and a flame on the tip of its tail called a Charmeleon was fueling the grill. It shot flames of its mouth to light the coal. It turned over the hotdogs every few minutes, then served them to the customers.

" Enjoy your hotdogs!" The lizard said happily.

" Thanks Charder!" Said a grey rabbit-like creature, which was a Gazimon.

" Anytime buddy!" Charder replied.

Maddy and the others walked out of the tidepool area. Kopomon sniffed the air, " Kopo!"

Maddy looked down at Kopomon and smiled, " Hungry little fella?"

Kopomon nodded, " Ko!"

" Alright! Let's eat some hotdogs!" Maddy started to move towards the hotdog stand when WackoMan said, " But I want ice cream!"

" Me too!" Haly said, " I scream for ice cream! I scream for ice cream!!"

" Go and buy it then!" Maddy replied, " C'mon Kenichi!"

" I'm coming! You don't have to tell me that!" Match said, following Maddy to the stand.

WackoMan and Haly went to a nearby ice cream stand. There, a giant polar bear virus was serving snowcones and ice cream of all flavors.

Haly K's Comment: I forgot what the polar bear viruses were called. I know they appear in Battle Network 1, though. -_-;

" I'll have one vanilla cone, please," WackoMan said to the virus.

Haly looked at the menu behind the virus, " I'll have a four scoop sundae, two cookies 'n cream, two chocolate chip cookie dough, with hot fudge, and no whipped cream or cherries, please!"

The polar bear virus prepared their ice cream, and handed the cone and cup to them, saying, " Here you go! That'll be 15 coins, please."

" Er, do you accept zennys?" WackoMan asked the virus.

" No problem," Haly pulled out a small blue crystal, " 15 coins is 5 Rupees, right?" She handed the crystal to the virus.

" Yes, and thank you," The virus replied, putting the Rupee into a cashregister.

Maddy managed to get the money for the hotdogs by using the Star Pendant ( Which she somehow had the whole time.) to make 150 zenny from her PET back in the hotel appear in her hands. She paid the Charmeleon for the three hotdogs ( One for Kopomon as well.) and sat downat a bench with Match.

Haly K's Comment: Money Exchanges in the Dream World So Far - 3 coins = 1 Rupee, 10 zennys = 1 coin.

" You had the Star Pendant with you?!" Match asked as he took his hotdog, " You could've been fine swimming by yourself since you had it, you know!!"

" I know," Maddy replied, biting into her hotdog. The Star Pendant was now a gold chain necklace which a small oval-shaped emerald with a light green star on it hung from. Match didn't notice it until Maddy used it to make the zennys appear. Maddy swallowed and continued, " But if I had gone alone, it would've be lonely!"

" Kopo?" Kopomon sniffed the hotdog that was in Maddy's other hand.

" It's pretty good," Maddy said to the Digimon, " Go on! Try it!" She held the other hotdog closer to Kopomon. It sniffed it again, then took a bite out of it. It cried, " Kopopo!"

" You like it, don't you?" Maddy asked Kopomon. It nodded in reply, and took another bite out of its hotdog.

" ' But if I had gone alone,' " Match repeated Maddy," ' it would've be lonely!' Yeah right!" He finished eating his hotdog.

Maddy looked at Match with puppy dog eyes and sobbed, " Y-You mean you d-don't like muh-me anymore?!"

Match replied in a shocked tone, " What?! No!! That's not what I meant!!"

" Thuh-Then what DID y-you meant?"

" Kopo!" Kopomon cried after it finished its hotdog. It then began to glow, "Kopomon digivovle to..... Raymon!!" The glow faded away, and instead of Kopomon in Maddy's lap, a small stingray was there. It was a dark blue with a small dorsal fin on its back, the same yellow upside down triangle on its forehead, and its long tail had fuzzy spikes on it and a yellow cone on the tip of it. Raymon looked up at Maddy with its slanted eyes and said, " That hotdog was really good! Thanks!"

Haly K's Comment: Raymon is also copyright of me. In fact, since all of Kopomon's evolutions were my ideas, they're all copyright of me. However, Digimon concepts are copyright of Bandai/Toei. ( I think it was Bandai who made Digimon. >.>;; )

" It digivovled?!" Maddy cried out in disbelief.

" Raymon, huh? So, are you a Rookie or an In-Training?" Match asked Raymon.

Raymon replied, " Oh, I'm just an In-Training level Digimon. Kopomon was my Baby form."

" Wow! A Raymon! Seriously though, you two are lucky ta find a Digimon as rare as this one!" Haly said from behind, scaring Maddy and Match.

" Don't do that!!" Maddy screeched.

Match turned around and looked at the giant sundae Haly was eating, and asked, " Are you sure you're going to eat that whole thing?"

" Ov course I will!" Haly replied, eating another spoonful of ice cream. WackoMan was stand behind her.

" Can we go back to the hotel now? I feel tried," WackoMan said.

Maddy noticed the basket that Haly was holding, " Hey, what's that?"

Haly held up the basket, " Just a couple ov pearls me an' Wacky found in da tidepools."

" Do NOT call me 'Wacky'!!" WackoMan said in an irratated tone.

" Let's go back to the hotel, then," Maddy said, getting up with Raymon in her arms. She had finished her hotdog while Haly and WackoMan were talking, " There's not much else to here now."

Haly and WackoMan blotted off to the hotel while Maddy and Match walked. Maddy looked down at Raymon and asked, " Say, do you happen to know what kind of Digimon you'll turn into next?"

Raymon replied, " Well, even I'm not sure..."

" Ok. Just asking," Then Maddy stroked Raymon's back softly. It purred for a bit.

' Hey, Tadashi,' The voice returned to Match, ' If Maddy gets all teary-eyed because of what you said again, you might want to think before you say something that might cost you your girlfriend.'

' For once, I actually agree with you, Ryu,' Match replied, ' but if you DARE call me by my middle name again, I swear I'm gonna reprogram you.'

' Kenichi Tadashi Hino!!' The voice said, ' You'd never reprogram me! We both know that, TA-DA-SHI!' Then it laughed.

Match shot back, ' Be luck that you ARE my brother, otherwise you'd be a SmokeMan or a SteamMan when I get back to our room.'

~CHAPTER 20~

" Gaah, I ain't gonna do this!" Beelzemon said, sitting in a bush nearby the beach of Yoshi Island.

" Well, how else are we gonna get money to get off of this island?!" Janga replied while sitting across from the Digimon, " The Diva is with her little friends now, and if we try to catch her, we're gonna be--" He paused for a moment, then continued, " Well, I'd rather not say what Haly and those Navis could do to us."

" And that Match guy too," Beelzemon reminded Janga, " He's suppose to be the Guardian of Fire, right?"

" True, but I bet he doesn't know that yet," Janga replied with a smirk, " Besides, we're not sure if he IS a Guardian," Then he glared at Beelzemon, " Now, are you gonna sign up for that job or what?!"

" Isn't there something else I could do?!"

" No, I told you I checked for any other jobs, and this one," Janga held up a list and pointed to one of the words, " is the only one that's open right now!"

" But why can't YOU do it?!"

Janga held up his paws, which had three magenta claws on each, " Cause I can't hold one of those sticks that they use. You're the one with actually hands!"

' Dammit, I should've listened to Lily when she said I should've stayed as an Impmon,' Beelzemon thought as he looked down at his hands, " Fine! I'll do it then," Beelzemon then got up and went to a nearby stand.

Anemon and Zweegle had now reached the wide mouth of a cave. Deep inside, a faint red glow could be seen.

" Thisss isss it?" Zweegle asked Anemon. All he got was a nod as a reply as Anemon walked into the cave.

The cat turned around, " Well? Are you coming or not?"

" Er, com--" Someone struck Zweegle from behind, knocking him out and causing him to slump down onto the ground.

The figure was a tall female Net Navi, the same Navi that managed to escape SciLab earlier. Her body suit and helmet were completly black, her gloves and high heeled boots a dark indigo, and her hair, which was came out of the back of her helmet in a ponytail, was a dark brownish-red. On her hands was her Navi Symbol, which was a shadowy icon which changed shape every few seconds. Her crimson eyes looked straight at Anemon as her left hand formed into a violet buster with grey streaks on it.

Haly K's Comment: Copygirl Zoe.EXE can transform into any form she wishes, ( Ovbiously.) but my friend Zoe didn't really describe her usual Navi form, so I got a bit creative with it. What? I can't leave a character as 'a shadowy Navi', can I?! :<

" What the?!" Anemon swung around to face Zweegle's attacker. She took out her schimitar, " Who are you?!"

The Navi smirked, " The name's Copygirl Zoe.EXE! Now, how ARE you going to wake up this 'Lava Piranha' person?"

" You overheard us, eh? I'm not going to tell you either way!" Anemon jumped forward and tried to slash the Navi, but Zoe just blasted the cat away with her buster. Anemon hit the ground hard, knocking her out and making the Rose of Piranha slip out of her pocket. Copygirl Zoe's buster changed back into her hand, and she walked over and picked up the pendant.

" Hmm, this must be what they were gonna wake up Lava Piranha with," Copygirl Zoe said to herself. She clutched the pendant tighly in her hand and said with a smirk, " I bet that Lava Piranha could help out Neo WWW! I might get a bonus for this!" She then walked into the cave.

Nearby, two ravens were sitting in a tree, and behind them was a raven that was twice as big as a full grown man. One of the ravens chirped, " First Anemon and Zweegle are up to something, now this stranger shows up and takes over!"

The other smaller raven replied, " Just was is that stranger suppose to be? A robot of some sort?"

" It is not a robot," The larger raven behind them spoke, " I believe it is one of those internet navigators from the Human World. A 'Net Navi', as they call them."

" A Net Navi? Are you sure of that Master Raphael?" The first raven asked.

Raphael nodded, " I'm certain of it. I've heard that Navis have the ability to change their hands into various weapons, as this 'Copygirl Zoe.EXE' did. We should go back for reinforcements before we go after her. Understand?"

" Aye aye! Understood, Master Raphael!" The other two ravens replied. Then all three flew off to another part of the jungle.

Maddy and Match were now in they room. They had both changed into their normal clothes. Raymon was slithering about the floor, bored out of his mind.

" Neeeeeeeeeeeeh," The In-Training Digimon moaned, " Isn't there something fun we could do??"

Maddy looked at Raymon as he slithered underneath her bed, " There's not much else to do beside wait for dinner."

" Neeeeeeeh," Raymon moaned again as he slithered out from underneath Maddy's bed and went under Match's.

" What's wrong?" Match asked.

" I feel booooored," Raymon replied as he slithered out from underneath Match's bed and proceeded to slither near the walls of the room.

" You like a vacuum cleaner right now, you know?" Maddy giggled, " Of course, you're not eating the dust, are you?"

" Of course not!" Raymon replied as he moved away from the walls and went under Maddy's bed again, " Dust is not tasty at all. Completely unlike the hotdog, I say!"

" Knock knock!" Haly said outside their bedroom door, then she actually knocked the door, " May I come in?"

" Sure," Match replied as Haly opened the door and stepped into the room, and almost stepped on Raymon as he slithered in his circle around the room.

" Please watch your step!" Raymon said as he went on to moving near the walls.

" Um, is there something wrong with him??" Haly asked.

" Naw, he's just bored," WackoMan replied.

" So why are you here?" Maddy asked Haly.

" Oh yeah!" Haly said, " We're going to a dinner show instead of a regular dinner!"

" What kind of show?" Match asked.

" There's suppose to be a Pokeon battle, and I think some fire dancing too," Haly replied.

Match moaned and thought, ' Fire dancing? That bring back embarrassing memories...'

' I know,' Ryu replied, ' especially since you almost lost your grip on one of the sticks and it almost hit a table. Even thou you caught it, you still fell.' Then he laughed.

' Shut up!' Match shot back.

Haly asked, " Eh? What's with the moan?"

Maddy smirked, " Oh, Kenny just has a little fire dancing experience happen before, that's all."

That made Match angry, for he yelled, " You can call me Match, Ken, or Kenichi, but NOT Kenny!!!"

' Kenny!!' Ryu said and laughed again.

' I told you to shut up!!' Match yelled in his head.

" O-kay, I don't think I wanna know about that 'experience, sine I got a feelin' that it invovles Match's speedo."

Maddy watched as Match glared at Haly for that comment. She giggled and thought, ' That guy is so silly...'

Then someone whispered to Maddy in her head, ' Rafu du... Rafu du...'

' Rafu du? That means... Help me?' Maddy thought, ' Who are you?! Are you that Nobody again!?'

' Nei. Ir et de Ruduki vo Zurreai. Rafu du, paleda, rafu du...'

Haly K's Comment: I could translate that, but I don't want to spoil it.

' Ruduki vo Zurreai? Uni ena oit reghking vo pao rafu?' Maddy replied in the Ancient language this time.

' Ir zukkof zupeir vo ehk. Veme da Tsinaitsinai Monterlewa...'

' Tsinaitsinai Monterlewa?' Maddy asked the voice, ' Uni?'

' Xiiq zo cherehei xiiq rui xitall rafu oit rafu du. Paleda, rafu du...'

'..... Ir xitall rafu oit!' Maddy replied. Then she spoke out loud, " Haly! Do you know if there's a Lavalava Mountain or something like that nearby?!"

" Well, there's a Mt. Lavalava in the center of the island," Haly replied, " Why do you ask?"

" We need to go there now!" Maddy said, getting up from her bed and picking up her PET, " Someone needs our help!"

" Huh? What do you mean?" Match asked.

Maddy handed him his PET, " Just trust me! Someone's in trouble! Haly, lead the way!"

" Uh, ok," Haly replied as she followed Maddy out of the room.

Raymon also followed, slithering closely behind them, " Yay! We get some excitment now!"

~CHAPTER 21~

Copygirl Zoe was now standing in a large chamber inside Mt. Lavalava. Before her was a gret pool of lava, and several small streams of lava cut throw the floor and walls into other chamber. She took out the Rose of Piranha and looked at it.

" Well," Zoe said to herself, " this is as far as I can go. Show me what you can do!" Then she raised the pendant over the lava, and... nothing happened. She shook the pendant several times, then banged it against a rock, " WORK ALREADY, YOU STUPID PENDANT!! Wake up this 'Lava Piranha' what's-his-name already!!" Then the pendant started to grow a deep red, and the volcano started to rumble, " I hope that's just Lava Piranha waking up..."

Maddy and co. were now moving through the jungle towards Mt. Lavalava. It was almost sunset, and the jugle began to get dark.

" I don't think we should move on," WackoMan said in a worried tone.

" It's starting ta get dark," Haly added, " I don't think we can find Mt. Lavalava now..."

' Rafu du... Paleda, Dirozku, rafu du...' The voice that spoke to Maddy earlier echoed in Maddy's head.

' Ir xitall rafu oit, paleda weit,' Maddy replied, then she spoke aloud, " We gotta find it! Someone needs our help!"

" We're close, aren't we?" Match asked.

" Yup, I can te--" Then Haly looked ahead, " Hey! There are some ravens up ahead!"

Several small ravens flew towards them, and Raphael was in the lead. They landed in front of the group.

" Ah, one of you is the Diva, correct?" Raphael asked. Haly and Match pointed at Maddy, who replied, " Um, I am, mister... raven... person... sir."

" I am Raphael, the guardian of Yoshi Island. And by guardian, I mean as in protector, not male angel. We have a bit of trouble, and we could use your help."

Maddy crossed her arms and said, " Define this 'trouble', please."

" I'll make this as breef as possible. You see, two strangers, Anemon and Zweegle, found an object called the Rose of Piranha and are... erm, were planning on awaken the Lava Piranha, which is a monster who sleeps in Mt. Lavalava."

" Excuse me, 'were planning'?"

" They were both knocked out by a Navi that managed to slip into the Dream World. All we know is that the Navi's name is 'Copygirl Zoe' and she stole the Rose of Piranha."

" Wait, wait, wait. How did a Net Navi get into the Dream World?!"

Haly interrupted, " Remember what I said about those 'talking viruses' that manage ta come inta da Dream World once in a while? Well, sometimes little tears between the Dream and Cyber Worlds occur, which viruses an' sometime Navis manage to jump into before it closes. It happens rarely, but there's already a buch ov viruses here!"

Maddy replied, " So the same must go for this Navi," She turned to Raphael, " 'Copygirl Zoe', you said?"

Raphael nodded, " Yes, and she might awaken Lava Piranha soon. Follow us!" Then he and the other ravens took flight towards the center of the island, and the group followed them.

" Wake up, you fool!" Anemon was yelling at Zweegle while shaking him, trying to wake him up, " That damned Navi stole the Rose of Piranha! Wake up already!!"

Zweegle was starting to come around, " Huh? Wha-? But ssschool doesssn't ssstart until 9 'o clock, mommy..."

" I said wake up!" Anemon then slapped Zweegle, and he sat upright. They were both still near the entrance of the volcano. Suddenly, they heard a rumble from deep inside the cave.

" Th-That can't be good," Zweegle said.

" We have to go after that--" Anemon stopped and the small pouch that hung from her waist glowed. The lapis lazuli that they used to talk to their master came out and floated in front of them.

" Stop!" Their master cried out from the jewel, " The Diva is coming. Let her take care of this."

" But why?" Zweegle asked.

" Because, I have made a bargain with Kos. You see, Klonoa and his other friends are trying to free him after he was sealed away by the Three Masters during there 'quest' to find the Diva and the Star Pendant, but it is taking them so long that he has finally gone mad. He wishes to be free at all cost, so I have agreed with him to let the Diva help him, as long as he tells the Diva of me. There is something in Mt. Lavalava that will help the Diva get to his Kingdom, so do not interfer with her. Understand?"

" But there's a Navi in there that has the Rose of Piranha!" Anemon protested.

" The Rose of Piranha?! You had it and did not even inform me of it?!?"

" Er... Basically, yes."

" Be lucky that you two are my only servants outside of this Void, otherwise I would send Jorrei to steal your hearts!" A couple of growls came out of the jewel, " They are my only servants besides you, so do not get any ideas yet, Jorrei." The... thing that was with their master grunted once, then kept quiet.

" What if that Navi manages to awaken Lava Piranha?!" Anemon protested again.

" The Diva can take care of that stupid plant easily. Now, do not interfer with the Diva! Understand?"

" Yes master," Anemon and Zweegle said in unsion, " Understood." The lapis lazuli then lost its glow and returned to Anemon's pouch.

" So we just leave this up to the Diva?" Zweegle asked Anemon as the cat was about to return to the city.

Anemon turned around and said, " Do you want your heart eaten by that Heartless the master calls her 'pet'? If no, then follow me back to the hotel," She turned back around and went into the bushes while Zweegle followed her.

The lava in the pool before Copygirl Zoe started to bubble. The Navi tried to keep her balance while the volcano continued to shake, but she eventually fell. She said, " Gah, when's this gonna stop?!"

Then, something bursted out from the pool. A long, spiked vine with a huge reb bud at the end came out of the lava. The bud had white circles on it, and a white-lipped mouth where a long red tounge hung out. Where the bud connected to the vine was a mane of fire. Two smaller versions of the first vine rose out of the lava on either side of it. The larger bud roared, " WHO AWAKENS I, THE MASTER OF MT. LAVALAVA?"

~CHAPTER 22~

" WHO AWAKENS I?!" The lava plant roared again. Copygirl Zoe stared up at it.

She thought, ' This can't be the right guy... I mean, a plant that can survive in lava?! That makes no sense!!'

The plant looked down at the Navi before him, " ARE YOU THE ONE WHO HAS AWAKEN ME?!?"

" Erm, yeah," She replied, " I'm Copygirl Zoe. Have you by any chance seen someone by the name of 'Lava Piranha' 'round here?"

The plant laughed, causing the room to shake, then replied in a softer voice, " Oi, girly, yer lookin' at ol' L.P. righ now!"

Zoe's jaw then dropped, " WHAT?! But you're a plant!! And everyone know that plants get beaten by fire 'n lava 'n stuff!! How can YOU be Lava Piranha?!?!"

L.P. laughed again, and replied, " Tru, ish weird tha Imma plant, bu I cou sti liv in lava. Tha's ho lif ish, weird!"

Zoe slapped herself on the forehead, " This still doesn't make any sense," Then she looked up at Lava Piranha, " Look, could you just come with me? There are some friends of mine in DenTech that might like your help."

" DenTech?" L.P. tilted his head to one side, " Oi, ain't tha da city ova in da Homan Worl?"

" 'Homan Worl'??" Zoe said, confused by L.P's lack of correct, let alone good, pronounciation.

" Yea, da Homan Worl! Ya kno, ere da Nevis and Homans live. Say, aren't ya a Nevi yerself?"

" 'Nevi'?... Wait, he probably means 'Navi'... but," Zoe looked at L.P. again, " Navis live in the Cyber World, not 'Homan Worl' or whatever you mean!"

" O, yea tha's righ! Their NeOops liv in da Homan Worl."

" 'NeOops'?! Wait... 'NetOps'... so that means... the Human World?!"

" Yea, so ya ar a Nevi, eh? Cus if ye eren't, then ya wouldda knon that theresh's tree worls: Da Homan, Ibeer, 'n Reem Worls."

" Human, Cyber, and... Reem? This is getting too weird, but at least now I know I'm not in some sort of Cyber World..."

" Sow, wo are thesesh friens of yers?"

Zoe then smirked, remembering what she was suppose to do. " Well, you see, they're called 'Neo WWW', and I think you could help them out quite nicely..."

" The volcano was rumbling a bit earlier," Haly said with a bit of fear, standing with the others at the entrance to the volcano.

" Apparently, Copygirl managed to awaken Lava Piranha," Raphael replied. Then he turned to the Diva, " Are you sure you can handle the Navi?"

Maddy smirked, " Of course I can! Beside, I got Haly, Raymon, and Match as backup!You don't have to let ALL of your raven buddies follow us inside."

Match muttered, " At least I get a mentioning..."

" Well, we're going into a volcano, you can probably control lava since you're the Guardian of Fire, so why shouldn't--"

" Wait, he's the Guardian of Fire?!" Raphael and the others ravens said in shock.

" Erm, let's get going!" Maddy grabbed Match by the arm and lead the way into Mt. Lavalava. Haly, Raymon, and some of the ravens followed after them.

" He's the new Guardian of Fire?" Raphael muttered to himself, " Ah, yes, he has the same frizzy red hair as Konike. Why did I not notice before?"

" My hair is not that frizzy!!!" Match called out from inside the volcano.

Inside, there was a long tunnel that had rivers of lava on either side of it. The were hole in the walls where lava poured out, and even other paths that spread out from the tunnel that could only get past by going through the lava.

" We should be in the main chamber soon," One of the ravens said, flying by Maddy and co.

" Oh boy! Maybe I'll Digivovle to Rookie level!" Raymon said, excited about the battle that was to come.

" Hey!" Haly stopped all of a sudden, and pointed towards her left, " What's that thing over there?"

Everyone except Raymon turned and looked. Above a hole of glushing lava, a light blue diamond was sticking out of the wall.

One of the ravens said, " I don't think that was there before..."

" C'mon! C'mon! C'mon!" Raymon said while far ahead of the rest, " Let's got get Lava Piranha! We can get whatever you're looking at later!!"

Everyone kept going, but Maddy stopped when the voice returned, ' Dirozku... De liandor...'

'De lianmor?' Maddy thought back, looking at the diamond again. The voice replied, ' Ze zo keruu oit yinn da rafu du.'

Maddy kept staring at the diamond. She was about to take out the Star Pendant when the lava glushing out of the hole turned into an arm of lava, grabbed the diamond above it, and threw it to Maddy. She caught with both hands, " Wait, how...?"

She turned around to find Match standing behind her. He smirked and said, " I'm guessing that's what gonna help whoever it is you're helping."

Maddy smiled, " So, I guess you can control both fire and lava."

" Hey!" Haly called out from down the tunnel, " C'mon! Lava Piranha's just up ahead!" Then Maddy and Match ran back to the others up ahead.

" Oi?!" Lava Piranha said in shock, " Ya wunt meh ta help som homans?! Nu wai!"

" Look, you get to be free, and I get a bonus on my paycheck from Neo WWW. It's a win-win situation!" Zoe argued.

" Nu wai, nu ho!" L.P. replied. The two buds nearby nodded.

" Would it kill you to talk NORMAL?!" Zoe screeched. Then she formed her left hand into her buster again, " Look, if you don't cooperate, I'll delete ya right here and now! Got it?"

The huge plant laughed, and so did the smaller buds, " Ya thin ya con urt meh wi tha lil thig?!"

Zoe looked at her buster, then changed it back into her hand. She smirked, " Huh, you have a good point, but I have something else I could do!"

She then transformed into her fighting form; from the waist down, she had the body of a horse like a centaur, but instead of hooves, she had the talons of a hawk, and the tail of a serpent. She also had hawk wings coming out of her back, wore dark purple armor, and held a dark purple and black lance in her right hand.

" Oi?" L.P. said with a smirk, " Ya thin ya bea meh tha wai?"

Zoe replied, " Of course. I can tell this'll be a hard battle," She held her lance in front of her, then charged at L.P.

Funny chapter! I liked the part where Hinoken helped Maddy out by fetching the diamond. I thought it was sweet. And the frizzy hair comment made me chuckle a bit! Also, anything Raymon says is gold! Raymon rocks! Was Raymon trying to imitate the Snoop Dogg with the Digivovle, or was that a typo? Either way Digivovle to Rookie Level is fun to say.

Edit: By the way, I know Digimon digivolve up and down... I was just pointing out a typo that seemed like something straight out of Snoop Dogg's mouth. Did you know Snoop watches Cowboy Bebop?

To Mugen: When a Digimon Digivovles, it means they move on to the next level in a Digimon's life span. The level are as follows: ( From when a Digimon hatches from its egg to its final level) Baby -> In-Training -> Rookie -> Champion -> Ultimate -> Mega. After a Digimon has reached Rookie level, when it Digivovles into the level past that ( Champion, etc.) after the battle it will Digivovle back into its Rookie level. Some Digimon can choose to stay at Champion or the other levels, which is why Beelzemon is still a Mega and not an Rookie level Impmon. Snoop Dogg? I have no idea about that. :O

To Lan: L.P. talked different in Paper Mario, but I decided to... 'improve' on his speech problem.

~CHAPTER 23~

Raymon and Haly got to the chamber first and saw Copygirl Zoe and Lava Piranha fighting each other. zoe was constantly dodging left to right; L.P. was trying to burn her with his firey breath while his two smaller buds tried to bite the Navi.

" THAT'S Lava Pirana?!" Raymon cried out, " But he's a plant!! This makes no sense!!"

" First off, it's Lava PiranHA," Haly repiled, " Second, he's a special species of plant that has adapted to lava. Don't ask why or how."

" Well, he still looks like a wimp!" Raymon said, aiming his tail at L.P.

" A wimp?!" Haly said in shock, " The last time he woke up was when Bowser had da Star Rod an' told him ta guard a Star Spirit! It took Mario 15 mushrooms, 23 super shrooms, and a lot ov FP for Sushi's water attacks ta beat him!! Hey, are ya even listening ta me?!"

" No!" Raymon replied rudely, still aiming his tail at L.P. Then lighting shot out of the tip of his tail as he cried out, " Tail Stinger!" and the lighting bolts hit L.P. with full force.

" Wha?! Whut wus tha?!" Then he noticed Raymon, " Whut?! Tha cam frem a In-Trainin' Digiman?!?"

" It's DigiMON! And don't forget, Lava Pirana!"

" It's Lava PiranHA!" Haly corrected Raymon again, " Da guy ain't a fish!"

" Ho dar ya thin Imma phish!" L.P. said in an angry tone, " Imma gonna--" Zoe took the time to strike L.P. in the back of his head with her lance, knocking him out in the process.

" What was I thinking, waking you up just so I could get you to help Neo WWW?" Zoe said to herself, " I already have the file, so I'll just take care of you, then get the heck out of here!"

" Huh?" Maddy said, now caught up with Haly and Raymon, " What file?"

" She has hurt Master!" One of the smaller buds that woke up with L.P. said.

" She pays for hurting Master!" The other replied, and they both started to try to bite her again. Zoe kept dodging, and got in a hit every few minutes.

" Maddy, you DID got around to looking at the e-mail Your brother sent you, right?" Match asked, standing next to Maddy after he and the ravens caught up with the others.

Maddy's eyes widened, " Um, WackoMan...?"

WackoMan replied, " You should've listened to Match and read the e-mail earlier!" He then opened up the e-mail and read it aloud.

{ E-mail }

Dear nee-san,

A Navi broke into the SciLab Network today and stole a copy of a file containing all of
our current research on Dimentional Areas and Syncro Chips. The Navi is working
for Neo WWW, and she escaped into the Dream World to Yoshi Island after a portal
opened up in the Network itself. Since you mentioned that you'd be vacationing there,
I thought I'd let you know just in case she causes any trouble there. I'd appreciate it
if you could capture her for me.

{ End e-mail }

" Wow! He actually called you 'nee-san', and called himself 'onii-san' for once!" WackoMan said in a cheerful tone after he finished reading the e-mail.

" WackoMan, this is not the time for being amazed at Famous actually called me his little sister in Japanese!!" Maddy screeched.

Haly K's Comment: Small note - 'Electopian' would be the 'current' form of Japanese that people speak in MegaMan. 'Japanese' is the old form, and some people use some bits of Japanese in Electopian, like 'san', 'sama', 'konichiwa', stuff like that. Same thing would go for other laguages in the EXE world. I think. If you are confused right now, then I don't blame you. o_o;;

Zoe looked at the humans, " Huh? There are humans here too?! What IS this place?!?"

One of L.P.'s buds bite down into one of Zoe's legs, " I got her!"

" Drag into lava!" The other cried, and they both started to slither into the lava. Zoe tried to get free, but then Raymon blasted the buds with another Tail Stinger attack, causing them to stop and let go of Zoe. She then flew up to the ceiling of the chamber, out of reach of the buds. Suddenly, Lava Piranha woke up, then tried to burn Zoe again.

" Whoa! No wonder Mario had such a hard time with 'im!" Haly said in surprise.

" Hey! HEY!" Raymon had slithered right in front of L.P. on the ground and was trying to get his attention, " Don't you ignore me like that! Tail Stinger!!" He then fired another couple of lighting bolts at L.P., and then all struck their mark.

The plant then glared down at Raymon, " Oi, shaddap, ya stoopid phish thingeh!" One of the buds then warped around Raymon, and threw him into the lava.

" Raymon!!" Maddy cried out.

Suddenly, the lava where Raymon had landed glowed, and then a small shark about the site of a dog appeared there. It was dark blue, white on its underside, and it had the same upside down yellow triangle on its forehead as Kopomon and Raymon. Its tail was more like a dolphin's or a whale's than a shark. It glared at L.P. as it said, " Okay, NOW you're gonna get it! Forget Raymon! This is my Rookie level form: Galomon!"

~CHAPTER 24~

" Gaoman?!" Lava Piranha said in surprise.

" GaLOMON!" Galomon shot back in a semi-useless attempt to get L.P. to pronounce his words better, " Would it kill ya to talk NORMAL and like a SANE Dream Worlder?!"

" Oi, ho con ya bee a phish n' stil liv in da lava?!"

Galomon smirked, " My scales are the strongest and most invincible around, that's how!"

" Go get him Galomon!" Maddy cheered from where she was standing.

Galomon then swam through the lava at high speeds at L.P., then jumped out and cried, " Iron Torpedo!" as he turned into metal and stuck the lava plant right in the head. Meanwhile, Zoe managed to finally finish off the two buds, which slithered back into the lava after they were defeated.

" Yay Galomon!" Maddy and Haly cheered at the same time.

Galomon jumped back into the lava and swam quickly again as L.P. tried to hit the Digimon with a myraid of fireballs. Zoe tried to hit L.P. with her lance, but he kept dodging while trying to hit Galomon. He screeched, " Hol stil, ya stoopid phisheh!!"

" Thunder Burst!" Galomon shot a ball of eletricity out of his mouth at L.P. and paralyzed him momentarily. Zoe managed to get in a few hit during that time.

L.P. then shook himself free of the paralysis, " ARGH! Tha's it!" Then he made several small fieballs appear around him, and some of them zoomed towards Zoe while the others were trying to hit Galomom but were trailing behind him as he swam.

Zoe sliced at all of them, then aimed her lance at L.P. and threatened, " Ok. That's it. We finish this NOW! Default chip program activate!" A small green window apeared in front of her, and she selected three chips on it. It disappeared afterwards, " Program Advance!"

" Whut's dis?!" L.P. said in shock.

" Cyber Sword, Wide Sword, and Long Sword! Battle Chips activate!" She raised her hands above her head, then she held a large glowing sword, " Beta Sword!" She then swung the sword at L.P.

" Not so fast! Thunder Burst!" Galomon shot another electric blast at Zoe's Beta Sword, electrifing it. Unfortunately, the fireballs that were still following him managed to catch up, and hit him after he released the shot. Zoe slashed at Lava Piranha, who then let out a giant roar before finally slithering back into the lava hole.

" Yay Copygirl Zoe!" Maddy cheered, " Yay Galo-- Wait, Galomon!" She turned to where Galomon had been hit by the fireballs. He was alright since he swan towards the edge of the lava near where the others were standing.

" Hah... I'm alright," Galomon gasped as he got out of the lava onto the rocky ground, " Really! I'm... all... right..." Then he went unconcious. Maddy picked him up and hugged him.

" Rookie level Galomon, huh?" Maddy said to herself, " Who know what your Champion level can do!"

" Hey!" Haly cried out from behind her, " Where do ya think yer goin'?!"

" Ack!" Came a cry from Zoe. Maddy turned around to see Zoe being held by a large arm of lava.

" Let me go, you stupid freak of nature!" Zoe, who changed back into her normal form, hissed at Match.

" Cry me a river," Replied Match, who ovbiously made the arm of lava appear.

Haly started poking at Zoe's foot, " Give up those files or whatever it is you stole!"

" NEVAR!" Zoe screeched.

" Alright," Match said with a smirk, " Suit yourself," Then he waved his hand in front of him and several long snakes made out of fire rose up out of the lava behind Copygirl Zoe. She noticed them and her eyes widened. Match asked, " NOW are you willing to give the file up?"

" Gaah! Alright! Alright!" Zoe said at she struggle against the grip of the lava hand, " Take the stupid file! Just take it and get me back to the Cyber World!" The fire snakes and lava arm disappeared, and Zoe landed on her feet. She threw a file to Match, who caught it, then Maddy opened up a portal for her. The Navi ran into the portal and it disappeared.

" Wait! She still has the Rose of Piranha!" One of the ravens said.

Match looked inside the file and the Rose of Piranha was there, along with the Synchro Chip and Dimentional Area data. He said, " Don't worry, it's in here," Then he took it out and handed it to one of the ravens. The file disappeared into Match's PET, and TorchMan sent it back to SciLab.

" Well, that's over!" Haly said, " How 'bout we get going now? I think that dinner show is about to start."

Zoe stood in a dark area of the Net. Before her was a monitor with a woman with frizzy brown hair on it. The woman also wore a red buisness suit and magnet earrings.

" Well? Did you get it?" The woman asked.

Zoe held out a file with 'SYNCHRO CHIP DATA' on it and answered, " Of course. It took a bit of time to get it, 'cus the Net Saviors got in the way."

" Excellent!" The woman replied in a happy tone, " Send it over!"

Zoe did as she was told and sent the file over to the woman's PET. A few second afterwards, a large bag of Zennys appeared in front of her.

" And there is your payment," The woman said, " 30,000,000 Zennys, as promised," The monitor then disappeared.

Zoe smirked and picked up the bag, " I wonder how they'll react when they find out that was an empty file I sent them," Zoe said to herself, " Ah well. I got the money anyway," Then she linked out of the area.

Haly K's Comment: Well, Zoe can't just go up to Neo WWW and say she lost the file, right? XD

Someone hid in the shadows of an old building. It seemed to be dark all around him, except for what little light managed to come down from above. The light looked like it was coming through water, and yet the building and the rest of the crumbling castle around it were not underwater. A black dragon with large glowing eyes, blue claws, horns, and underbelly, blue linned grey armor on its legs, grey skinned wings, razor sharp teeth, and a Heartless symbol on its chest snapped at the figure, causing it to retreat deeper into the shadow of the building. His large red eyes stared at the figure next to the dragon. The figure was wearing a black hooded cloak with several zippers on it, like a Nobody, but for some reason the firgure was transparent. The hood was covering the figure's face, but the one in the shadows could feel the firgure's eyes glaring at him. The dragon growled, and was about to move closer into the shadow but he was stopped by the figure besides it, who held out her arm to stop him.

" No Jorrei," The figure spoke to the Heartless, " When the great King of Hyuponia betrays us, then you may feast upon his heart," The dragon grunted in reply, and stepped back.

" Anexi, I will keep my promise," The one hiding in the shadows said in a frightful tone.

The figure in the cloak scowled, and replied, " I told you not to speak my name, you fool! But at least you stopped speaking in the Ancient tounge."

The dragon disappeared, and the firgure said before disappearing herself, " Remember. Keep your promise, or else. I am as mad as you are for being trapped in the Void between the World for so long."

The one in the shadows got down on his knees and whispered to himself, " As mad as me...?"

It was night on Yoshi Island now, Raphael and his ravens went to find a good hiding place for the Rose of Piranha, and Maddy and the others were sitting at a picnic table with plates of food on it. They were other people eating nearby, but most of them were watching the fight in the small boxing ring in front of them. In it, a half-bird, half-human like fire Pokemon called a Blaziken was fighting againt a blue, half-dog, half-human like Pokemon with steel spikes on its body called a Rukario.

Haly K's Comment: Rukario is from the up coming Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games. I heard that his name will be translated into English as 'Lucario'. I like 'Rukario' better, thou. Curse you interchangeable R's and L's in Japanese translating!! >: (

" Yeah, go Rukario!" Haly and Galomon cheered as Rukario rained a fury of punched on Blaziken, then did a series of backflips to avoid Blaziken's punchs, and finished it off with a sweeping kick in mid air that knocked Blaziken back several feet, knocking him into one of the poles at the corners of the ring.

" Blaziken's gonna lose!" WackoMan said to TorchMan, who was sitting next to him, " You might as well hand over the 500 Zennys right now!"

TorchMan replied, " Hold up! He's gonna pull through. Get that fleabag, Blaziken!"

" You know, if this weren't a 'Plain Attacks Only' fight, Blaziken would've won by now. Since Fire types have an advantage over Steel types like Rukario," Match said to Maddy next to him.

" I guess," Maddy replied in a depressed tone.

Match turned to her and said, " What's wrong with you?"

Maddy sighed and replied, " Nothing."

" What? You don't like your dinner?"

Maddy stared down at the plate of food in front of her, " It's ok..."

" Then what's wrong?"

Maddy stared at Match straight in the eye, " About how I convinced you to revive TorchMan as HeatMan..."

" C'mon! I said I owed you one for that! I mean, TorchMan's my brother so he mean a lot to me!"

' You idiot!' Ryu suddenly hissed in Match's head while TorchMan glared at him from where he was sitting at the table, ' You just gave me away!!'

' I... did?' Match replied, ' Oh damn...'

" I know that!" Maddy replied, smiling, " That's one of the reasons I like you. You're so close to your Navi that you two practically act like brothers."

' Glory Halleluyah! She knows that we act like brothers, so she doesn't suspect that we ARE brothers!' Match said to Ryu in his head, then he said aloud, " So is that one of the reasons why you helped?"

Maddy looked down, " Well, it's part of it..."

" Then... what's the other part?"

Maddy sighed, " Well, you were so miserable when TorchMan got damaged by FreezeMan. His frame was damaged beyond repair, but his data, his 'soul', was still fine, and you'd do anything to bring him back..." then Maddy looked up at Match again, " And when you refused to let Famous transfer his soul into the HeatMan frame, I wasn't going to let you make yourself more miserable like that! It made ME feel sad just looking at you when you were that way, so I had to do something to help cheer you up," then she smiled, " And besides, now TorchMan's back, good as ever!"

" Ah! Rukario! Watch out!" Haly cried out as Blaziken managed to land a blow that slammed Rukario into one of the corner poles.

" Don't give up!!" Galomon yelled, " Fight! Fight!! Fight!!!"

Match put an arm around Maddy and replied, " Thanks. That was really nice of you to do that. Now I REALLY owe you one!"

Maddy blushed, " Gee, you're welcome. I'm just gald I could help. After the whole thing was over, I, uh, kinda got a crush on you..."

Match smirked, " Ha! I knew you liked me a little bit before the Star Pendant incident! Otherwise, you wouldn't have agreed to go out on a date with me before that!"

' One thing still bugs me, though,' Ryu thought to Match, ' While I was HeatMan, I could see and remember everything that happened, but it was like someone else was controlling the frame.'

' Really?' Match asked.

' Yup, and I think I remember that whoever was controlling the frame talked to me once, before I almost got deleted by PlantMan. I think he said 'I'll be back soon! You'll be revived in your old form, but I'm going to have to stay in this one. Remember, we'll met again Ryu Taichi Hino!''

' Whoever was controlling the frame also knew you whole full name?!'

' Yeah, but I'm gald that Famous managed to fix the HeatMan frame. It's still not functioning like a normal Navi, though. I hope whoever was controlling me as HeatMan is ok. Say, what do you think Famous'll do with the frame anyway?'

' He said he was too busy on other projects at SciLab to start anything on HeatMan right now, remember? At least he said it's helping him and KendoMan around the Labs.'

' Heh, well maybe soon we'll find out who it is that's hiding out in HeatMan's frame.'

Haly K's Comment: Unfortunately, you readers won't find out who's hiding out in the frame until sometime around half way through my next fic after this one! >; P *is bricked/slapped/shot/thwacked/what have you*

" RukaRIO!" Rukario cried at it did a powerful uppercut on Blaziken, thus knock him out and winning the battle.

" Wahoo!" Haly cried in joy.

" YAY RUKARIO!!" Galomon cried in even more joy.

" Cough up the 500 Zennys!!" WackoMan said to TorchMan.

TorchMan handed the Zennys to the clown Navi, " Be lucky that Special attacks weren't allowed."

" And next up," Said a Toad with a microphone in the ring after Rukario left and Blaziken was hauled off by Chanseys, " is the fire dance! Preformed by a volinteer that signed up eariler today."

When the fire dancer went into the ring with the fire sticks and started the fire dance, Haly laughed, Galomon laughed even harder, and Maddy, Match, WackoMan, and TorchMan sat there with their jaws dropped.

" Is that... Beelzemon?!" Maddy asked in disbelief.

" ARGH! JANGA!" Beelzemon screeched at he spun the fire sticks and tried to do tricks clumsily, " After this is over, I'm gonna kill you for this!!"

" Ha! I'd like to see you try that!" Janga said from somewhere in the audience over the roar of laughed that erupted when Beelzemon tried to catch a fire stick he threw up into the air, but ended up get hit in the head and dropped the other stick on his foot.

" OW! IT BURNS!" Beelzemon screamed at he held his flaming foot, cause the audience to laugh wildly again. Then he picked up the sticks and tried to do more tricks, all of which ended up in Beelzemon getting hit and burned several times.

" This is almost as weird as my food!" Maddy said, staring down at the plate in front of her, " I mean, the chicken, rice, sushi, and salad were nice, but what the heck is tripe made out of?!" She poked the mystery meat in front of her with her fork.

" Sheep stomach," Match replied.

" No, really, what it is?" Maddy asked again.

" I told you, it's sheep stomach. My grandmother on my dad's side would make it with haggis and black pudding every time I visited her. Tripe tastes like salted marshmallows and chicken, at least my grandmother's was. Then again, I never did like it, or haggis and black pudding for that matter."

Haly K's Comment: If you can guess which Nickalodean cartoon show I got the taste of tripe from, you earn extra brownie points. X3

" Wait, you're Scottish and you don't like haggis?! And what's black pudding??"

" I don't like wearing kilts or playing bagpipes either. Black pudding is basically plain pudding with blood in it to make it black."

Haly K's Comment: There IS such thing as black pudding, by the way. >_>

Maddy smirked, " You don't like haggis, kilts, or bagpipes, and yet you keep making bad puns on them."

Match crossed his arms in front of him, " Hey, I don't do it anymore!"

" Wait a sec... blood pudding?! EW!"

Really interesting turn of events, what with the whole "brothers" thing... and Rocket Power is where you got the taste of Tripe from, if I'm not mistaken. I liked Beelzemon's fire dance, and thought most of the chapter was really funny. I liked Zoe's trick too... Good work!
