Oh, I'm sure there will be more jokes in the future, but what is really amusing to me is seeing all the reactions everyone is having. xD The fact that some of you are actually upset that you didn't get to spend -ONE- day on the forum and freaked out just makes me want to fall over with laughter. It's not meaness, it is just of all the things to get mad about that just seems funny.

There was a joke made by a news reporter many many years ago about a harvest festival, where it showed people picking pasta off of bushes. The report saying that it was the annual harvest for the country and how many generations of research went into growing the pasta. Now everyone knows how pasta is made and not grown, but the report was so 'real' that people called the studio and stores asking where they can get their own pasta growing plant. When they found out it was an April Fools joke the people got mad and upset that they were tricked by what was obvious to everyone was a joke, venting their anger at the reporter. Eventually they forgave him.

Now what happened at the forum was obviously a joke, and before anyone says that it might have been obvious to me because I was in on it, I was not. xD I didn't know about this till after I looked at the forums to do my usual rounds and found that little message. It made me laugh, and since it was April Fools day I went ahead and let the forums be, going off to do work on other things. What makes it even more funny is seeing everyone react to it so strongly. I don't know if I should laugh or cry at the over reactions that people are saying they had to this joke, to me it was a good one and unexpected, which is the whole point of April Fools Day.

Ahh....the BBC-spaghetti tree joke. Laughing

I was scared for two minutes(not at the spaghetti thing, but the REO thing Smile

) and then I laughed. But then I didn't enjoy the no-REO-for-a-day thing. At least it's April Fools' Day and not April Fools' Week!

I realized it was a joke once I looked on the updates and that it didn't mention anything about the abuse. BTW, I went through forum withdrawal that day.

First I was like ' wha?' Then I remembered that it was April Fools, so I thought, eh, I'll come back later. So I work on a math project for about three hours, come back.... And I STILL couldn't get on! That's when I became mildly annoyed.
