>_> I don't really like this, and I hope the episodes are really, really good which should make up for the shortness. We shall see. |

Does anyone know what the ratings are for Rockman? That might be related to it. [DON'T ABUSE THE SPOILER FUNCTION] _________________

I doubt it,Rockman should have great ratings since the fanbase is pretty big,but it could be the possibility of TV Tokyo running out of timeslots to air anime and they just out of random chose Beast Plus to share with the Ape Escape Anime |

I honestly don't understand why some of you are fretting about the episodes being shorter, especially with the very valid points given by Ryou, MSP, HiKaizer and Zippo. :/
I'm seeing this is a kind of experiment, just to see if they can put a decent story-based show into a format primarily used for comedic anime (See: Galaxy Angel, Digi Charat, Sakigake! Cromartie HS, etc). As such, I'm interested to see how they'll pull it off.
Aside from that, I have faith that the production crew will continue to give us the same or even better quality of video game love that we've been enjoying up to this point. _________________

*Game Spoilers*[spoil:769c9920e2]I'm a little confused on that last part, but last I heard, EXE6 was the official last game of the series. So there will be no more EXE games...[/spoil:769c9920e2]
And given that it's near-impossible to find EXE anything over here in the US anymore, I fear that Stream and Beast will get the same treatment as Sailor Stars did...
...i.e. Never aired on American Turf.
And by impossible to find I mean like going over to Wal-Mart or Toys 'R' Us and being able to just pick up a pack of Battle Chips or an Action Figure. When they were getting rid of them, I NEVER saw such cheap Clearance Items. I almost felt insulted over it... (...despite buying half of the shelf out... >_>; )
I also see the points behind what's been said; in that Beast was already only about 20-24 minutes long in total with the commercials cut out of the files we get here.
At least the manga in CoroCoro seems to be staying strong... so far I can tell... and I hope that the fact is that TV Tokyo just has too many shows to air. Though I also think there was discussion among fans that Beast is probably the last series of EXE... I just hope that if it is, they end it well and don't cop out... like you can sort of tell Frontier did to cut the number of planned eps down in order to finish the series sooner. :\ (I remember that from the WtW Forums "back in the day". The announcement was made for more eps than they wound up with... and that they were ending the series a few eps sooner than originally planned. :< )
Despite all this, I will be looking forward to more Enzan-kun and Blues. X3 I just hope they don't wind up in another country for half the series like Stream. XD;
And last opinion is they could have chose a different anime to pair EXE up with. o_o; But that's my thought.... _________________ Yes, I am the Neko..... NekoEnzan! <3 ^.^

It would be about 15 minutes. 12 if you take out the time for the opening and ending. How does a show that shares its time slot with another work exactly? |

It's quite simple, isn't it? Surely you guys have watch SpongeBob. Just put in the second half of the episode another show with the OP and the ED. ;P _________________

I say, if American cartoons can turn out alright with 15 minute episodes, then anime can too. That's my hope. Maybe with this season, they'll to the point more. |
