*mouthfilled* This series actually looks nice, infact, the new character looks are quite calm to give a new start. *inserts more food* Sure, it may be 15 minutes but were getting a decent animation quality here. *more food* I just need to download this and see it. _________________

WHile I sorta am upset that episodes have been cut so short, it could mean wonders if it ever makes it to the NA. Seeing as they'd probably be forced to use all of the episode (no cuts) to fill time and would probably show two-eps per run (also, knowing NA, they'd add their own intro and credits). I'm waiting for it to download now, but I am pumped. Lol.
EDIT:
Holy crap! Man, I was expected to like it but I LOVED it. The art director alone was enough to make me giggle with excitment! And I could be wrong, but this art-style (the faces and eyes) remind me heavily of (dot)Hack//Legend of The Twilight anime (the one with Rene and Shuko). The story seems to...good too. I like the direction of the episode - it doesn't feel rushed, but I also don't have the urge to "fast forward to the good part" because the whole thing in relevant and important. Very very very amazing overall and I can't wait for more.

....holy Gash, Netto is so chibi-fied. XD
As for the episode itself, I actually thought shortening it would be a better thing. The regular 24 minutes about episode has too much unneeded talk in the episode (although sometimes humourous) and not enough pacing. (It's not like WE know what they are talking about, anyway. XD)

Still in the middle of downloading the episode, but my faith has defintely been revitalized by PAC's summary and screenshots. Zero's EXE version is actually an ol' fav of mine (probably because I'm not comparing him to his other series counterparts. Not much of an X fan.), and the art DEFINTELY looks like it's done by someone new. Their style actually has a hint of the boxart for the very first Battle Network game...
...also, my theory still stands on "The Professor" being the EXE version of "Mr. X" :b |

While it's going to take a while to get used to the episodes being so short, I think this will turn out for the best.
I don't think Zero is a in copyroid...because when Iris would travel between the real world and the cyber world she looked the same way. So Zero might just be from Beyondard....maybe.
Everyone has big eyes and stuff. Compare Netto's Beast Intro eyes to his eyes now. So cute. XD
I didn't like the breathing noise Zero-made. .-. _________________

Considering the way Zero logged out, it's a posibility that he is from Beyondard. Look at Iris and the Zoanoroids.

Um...the PET is the same throughout the entire episode.
You answered the second question yourself...they're for beast out, we won't know how they got them until someone translates it.
It wasn't an incubator, he was being scanned. _________________

KUsanagi already explained that Yuuichirou was able to make chips to trigger the Beast Out much like Soul Unisons due to data Trill left in Rockman during their merging.
Please make sure you read the whole topic before askign questions already answered :P _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

I really liked the episode.
I don't get why the didn't use Ishihara's plug-in art. Does that mean they are going to change it for everyone's plug-in scene....?
I really liked the chibi-ness-like style though. |

Like what Chase said, it's possible that Ishihara has left the art direction team for EXE. She was responsible for all of the Opening/Ending animations, as well as the Plug-in/Cross Fusion sequences. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. Netto's headband IS a different color, because it looked different in the preview last week (aka was a different color than it had been the whole episode, which means it's probably not a computer issue.)
Hee, new little Netto is so cute. His eyes are bigger and... his cheeks are chubbier, I think. I kinda liked how... well, in Beast, they looked older than they did in Stream, they've all slowly started looking older, or for some people, taller. Now they're all small and cute again. Even just the proportions, when Netto is standing next to Yuuichiro, he really just does look... little!
Did anyone else notice that Meriu's hair looks different? Or the shading on it anyway, it looks weeeird now. Also, R Rockman was really skinny at times. Oddish.
(I agree with Seiko, yay no henshin scenes! You think maybe they didn't because it would've meant redrawing it? Like you said, all the battle chip/cross fusion sequences were different. They obviously tried to keep it similar, it's the same except for Netto's hair moving. Mayne it would look weird to use the old sequences when every is smaller and more chibi looking now?) |

I believe that they didn't do the Henshin scenes to save time |

Yes, that and it will take some time and effort re-drawing/animating them. |

I have a question. Why the heck did Forte's theme start playing at the end of the episode? Not only was Forte missing, it didn't fit the situation at all. I wonder why they put it there? _________________
