Theory Time:
-The touch screen would be a chip dragging system?
-Mini-games, possibly?
-Full Synchro by breathing in the microphone?

Quite possible. But then, we have a lot of psuedo-minigames in RMEXE anyhow. Running around putting out fires? The underwater scenario in EXE4? Finding ghost Navis? I'm sure they'll expand these with the use of the touch screen, but each of the Navi scenarios is a minigame anyhow. Or at least they're supposed to be.

While a chip-dragging system might be neat, or appear more like the system that appears to be in Stream, I don't think it would be an effective way to use Battle Chips in teh actual game. Like Malinhion said, the way it is now is already faster. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

By breathing, I mean into the microphone at certain points, like when you hit an enemy, you'd have to breath into the mic at a certain point to get Full Synchro. _________________

I'd want it to be in 3D.Make it design your own navi and operator.That would be best.Maybe make it compatible with the DS online attachment that's in the works. |

May be we will have this in an operation battle?
Let see... The top screen is the battle screen and the touch screen will have the chips' image and explanation, we can click on the chip to send it to the navi.

For normal game,
in real world
the top screen will be where the characters appear(the same as what we have now), touch screen will be the menu and...? whatever...
in the internet
the use of the top screen will be the same as the real world and the touch screen will be menu and your navi's status. you can change it to different things by selecting the menu.
in a battle
the battle will be at the top screen and the touch screen will show what chip you can choose next turn. Like what we now have, we still have the custom bar. When the custom bar is full, the game will pause when we press 'L' or 'R' and we can click the chip on the touch screen to send chip to the navi (similar to what's on the GBA system).
Other
You can link a DS game with a GBA game to get extra stuff on your DS game ([spoil:549e96c1f4]like Pokemon Dash can link up with Emerald to get extra track[/spoil:549e96c1f4]). May be we can get bound stories or minigame etc. when linking up with a GBA Rockman EXE game or even Rockman Zero. We may even be able to change the storyline when we do this...?
I read from an article said the GBA port can be used for new hardware. We may have something similar to e+ or chip gate to power up the navis. |

I know of a usefull way for the chip dragging system. I noticed how easy it is to get a PA in the past games. So what if in this new DS one, you really actually have to aim and time when you have to drag a chip. I think that would be neat. _________________

There are too many possibilities for the DS but here's a few I think'll happen.
Menu
Top screen:Shows Megaman's status
Bottom screen:Shows the usual options for the menu
GamePlay
Top:Lan in the real world/Megaman on the net.
Bottom:Whre you accually play the game,Megaman on the net/Lan in the real world, an option that swtiches screens on the fly.
Battle
Top Screen:The accual battle
bottom screen: Battle chips you can use, just touch a sequnce of the battle chips you want to use(if you activate a P.A. it'll show you before you use 'em.) switches to battle once you chose your battle chips.
But I may be wrong. |

Those are good ideas, but yeah like you said..it maybe be used for the Chips mainly! :] _________________

What if they make a game similar to the EXE 4.5 style. The 2 screens would work perfectly for a battle system like that.
It does present problems for the traditional style, though. Because it requires you to multitask. That, and it might require more than 2 hands to use. one on the d-pad, one on the A and B buttons, and one focusing on the chip menu. _________________ Original name: blazequest |

Drag and drop chips will sure be more interesting than just press the buttons.
For normal battle style, we can use our hands for the button and have the pen in the mouth to drag and drop chips *just tried it with Mario and works fine so far XD*
Something about the mic, we can blow wind into the mic when using a chip and add the effect of Air Shoot to the chip.
Some more for the button, we now have 4 instact of 2. May be can use one for jump and one for another default weapon?
And something about outside battle in the internet, the top part can be the normal screen we now have and the touch screen can be a map and we can draw path on it to make new path for Rockman. May be even blow wind into the mic to make Rockman run faster or something like that (may be fly?). |

Or Capcom could just use the same system with a few changes here and there (number of sprites per screen, graphics, details, perhaps panels per battle, etc.). Heck. They could make it with Network Transmission styled graphics if they wanted to.
You know what? No one has mentioned the X and Y buttons yet.
Edit: Oh, and I'm just nitpicking but, can someone fix the topic title? That's going to bother me a lot, especially if this topic is kept alive for a long time. _________________ Net navis are like imaginary friends. The only difference is that you don't get weird looks for talking to them. |

A button=Talk, Use battle chips,chose option
B button=Buster,cancel
X button=Switch from Net to Real world and vice versa
Y button=Switch from walking to running and vice versa
L Button=Talk to Lan/Megaman
R Button=Jack in/out
There. I know it's not the best button placement in the world but yeah, this is what's probably going to happen(or what I hope will happen) |
