Yes we do need more information. I cannot wait to hear more about the new usuals; I've heard of the pre-vo for Sudowoodo, and the Evo for Sneasel. Oh, and of course the pre-evo for Snorlax (that's a given though. Been on show and in movies). As long as it isn't complete trash I'll get it. _________________

Judging from the forked tail, I think Buizeru is a pre-evo of Vulpix. _________________

I don't think it is... It looks a lot more like an otter or a weasel to me, and pre-evos are usually a fair bit smaller than what they evolve in to.
All three of them are fairly decent... Buizeru's my least favorite, but it looks like it'd probably both evolve and grow on me, and I really like Perappu and Tamanta. |

Since no one else here has mentioned it, I feel it may be worth mentioning that one of them (Lucario) has even starred in the latest Pokemon movie. A few other D&P pokemon also showed up in it.
Also, I heard that there will be online stuff. I found this link at LL. |

So, with E3 upon us and passed, it was almost easy to forget what came out during it... Pokemon Diamond and Pearl info!
Most importantly, we finally have some screens of the game.
The map style is similar to Ruby/Sapphire's, but with a slightly different sprite style and there's sort of a pseudo-3D thing going on with the background.
The battles look similar too, except that they appear to have backgrounds now, and the sprites and animations are more detailed looking overall.
Far as new info goes... The new region is called Shinou, you have to beat the Elite 4 before the game's compatible with Ruby/Sapphire and Nintendo's already working their marketing limbs at full speed, with Manafi only being available with Pokemon Ranger.
Looking forwards to some more stuff, and the game's currently scheduled for this Fall, so barring a delay we may not have to wait long. |

I do kind of like the 3D-ish look to it. Maybe if they have an different way to sort everything out it'll be another good update. |

The Diamond and Pearl news has me less than thrilled. Why? Well, the graphics look pretty spiffy, and I don't dislike any of the new pokemon, but it's what the new pokemon ARE that keeps me from getting excited; they're all babies.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Baby Pokemon, I know plenty of people think they're cute and that's all well and good. But from what I recall, Baby pokemon are exceptionally hard to train up; they don't learn any/many new moves aside from the rather pathetic ones they start with, and they don't evolve to their standard forms unless their Happiness has reached a certain level.
I know they're adorable, but I'd rather have something more suited to getting me through the game.
Um, oh yeah, and I want Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur to make a comeback. Those three ruled. ¬_¬ *cough* _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Well... they're not all babies. Rucario, Perappu, Maneyula, Buizeru and maybe Manafi all aren't baby pokemon so... only about half of them or a bit over half depending on how Manafi turns out are.
Even though they're cute though, I sorta agree. Baby Pokemon aren't really that interesting until you see what they can do for their evolution IMO.
Except Tamanta, that things a bit TOO cute to be uninteresting. (Cuteness is my weakness and water ones tend to go for the critical super effective hit) |

Lets just go ahead and revive this.
Five new Pokemon were revealed today: Dairuga, Parukia, Cherimu, Pachirisu, and Dorapion.
I like Dairuga, Cherimu, and Pachirisu the most. Dairuga looks cool and Cherimu and Pachirisu just look adorable.

Cherimu looks like it's third form will be a big sakura tree. Or maybe something like a kabuto type person.
Pachirusa looks like a squrielle pickachu, awesome. Soo cute.
Doraphion is probably going to be one Team Galaxy's bad pokemon =(. _________________

Indeed, quite a lot of new stuff we've got... Far as my opinion goes.
Diaruga: Better than I was expecting, but I still like Parukia better.
Parukia: Pretty cool design for a legendary... Probably'll get this one, althiugh Diaruga's space aspect intrigues me.
Cherim: As some people are very well aware, I'm going to LOVE screwing around with the Pokemon metagame with this thing. Trouble Seed FTW.
Pachirisu: SKDNGLLDHNLNKGHLNHLNDHLFCUTE
Drapion: This thing sounds pretty fun too... Only one weakness, and abilities that seem to revolve around criticals. |

I really like all of the new Pokemon designs, and I can't wait for Pearl and Diamond to come out. My favorites are Cherimu and Munchlax.
The 4th generation is looking quite promising, and with Mysterious Dungeon and Ranger on the horizon in the US (and Revolution coming out for the Wii), I'm gonna be spending a lot of money on Pokemon games this Fall. _________________
