I'm still conviced Zero's in a modified Copyroid, like Iris was. They have the same log in/out when switching between the Real and the Cyber Worlds.

Hm.....I would say this first episode is ok. But hey it has Zero in it. I thought it was kinda short you know, 9 minutes and 45 seconds. There was also no ending song. This is probably the first different kind of Rockman episode I've experienced for some reason.

I was very surprised. I had no expectations (I've learned to not have any so I never get disappointed) but I thought it was great. I am happy there is no OP, ED or CF transformations since those would all just waste precious time. My sister, being a Zero fangirl will not be happy when she sees the EXE design of Zero though.

My main thought was how short it was. But it wasn't that bad. Plus it was just the first episode so it'll get better later probally.

Well, like many people, I liked the art too. Something about it made it look more like the original series more than the spin-offs. Even the "slot-in" sequenced looked like the original series style of their "slot-in" sequences.

As for the story yes it was rushed but, like others have said, give it time, maybe they'll thin things out.

Overall it was pretty good. But I wish they couldn't just find another timeslot to cram in Ape Escape so that Rockman wouldn't be 10 minutes long. That and the fact that, if it ever gets here, they might have to paste two or three episodes together to fill a 30 minute timeslot.

After Viz sticks in a long-ass intro sequence, plus two or three commercial breaks... two Beast+ episodes together would surely fill 30 minutes. (And that way, there'd be less cuts.)

Anyway, Heatman tells me that this episode's art director is named Taketani Kyoko. I know this probably means nothing to any of you, but basically, she's never done an EXE episode before... so, yes, she is new.

She's also creditted for working on Ghost in the Shell and Negima, according to Anime News Network.

Here's one thing I noticed when I watched the episode. The timestamp at the top of the screen said 8:33 when it started. My question is: What happened in the first three minutes?? O_o

An extra three minutes help things, don't you think?

Anyone remember the Super Mario Bros. Super Show? It had live-action Mario and Luigi in sitcom-ish adventures, usually with a celebrity guest... then it would run an actual episode of the Mario Bros. cartoon. I think it sometimes had Legend of Zelda, Captain N, and the other Mario series (Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World), as well. My memory's a little foggy (since I was, like, 6)... but it seems like this whole Beast Plus/Saru Getchu thing in Japan is a lot like the old Super Show series.
