I'm fairly sure that [spoil:02303b2103]Zero became a sentient virus, and if you choose to spare him in Network Transmission, he'll be made into a real Navi. :/[/spoil:02303b2103]. (Network Transmission spoilers)

It seems to me that Zero is just remodeled data from the beast that entered the world...they show griega/faltzer thing get beaten then the show a tank with what looks to be a piece of that data...then boom Zero...kinda Forte was Pharohman type of thing.

So far Zero has not said one word, only various assorted grunts and the Vader breathing. So, can he even speak?

So even he can't stand up to the Beast Out. I like that, cause it shows that he's not some immortal, super powerful ass kicker, like some of his fans would probably want him to be.

Did someone say that the Beast Out music was remixed? It sounds the same to me...

Unless my earphones where a little out of wack but didn't Netto sound a little odd when her was talking to Rockman when they were doing that overview of those plants?

I've only seen the ep once, usually by now twice >.>

Zero needs to talk damnit, I'm getting sick of the Vader imitation already.

The guy behind the music (since Axess) is nicknamed "IGAO." I'm not sure what his real name is, but Anime News Network constantly credits Jin Akitagawa as the "sound director." I'm not sure if IGAO and Akitagawa are the same person... or truthfully what the sound director even does, but I'm sure IGAO does the music (whoever he is).

And I'm still 99% positive this episode was animated by Akira Takahashi (did episodes like Beast 19, Stream 4, Axess 16, EXE 33)... excluding Netto's plug-in sequence, and possibly Enzan's redrawn Cross Fusion animation. (On a side-note, Netto and Enzan's shouting-Cross-Fusion animations come from Axess and were not drawn by Ishihara Mitsuru...)

There's a couple of shots in this episode that definitely show Takahashi's usual style (especially the distant shots of characters), but there's also a lot of "chibi"-er shots. I'm still thinking the art directors were told to draw the kids cuter from someone higher-up (kinda like how they started drawing Iceman more like his game design, with the disgruntled look, since Axess)... But again, I'll wait another art director before I make the call for certain.

I'm still wondering if Yasuo Shimizu (Beast 2, Stream 16, Axess 4) will show up. S/he does soooooooo many episodes...

The Juuka theme has been remixed, and is now even cooler sounding. I'm quite impressed by who does the soundtracks to series.
It wasn't remixed. The theme was identical to the one in Beast. It's just easier to hear the subtilties of the song without Zoanoroids running around screaming.

I haven't seen the new episode yet but I do know that jsut because Greiga Rock was used doesn't mean Zero has a connection to Greiga
Flame never mentioned that Zero and Rockman's Beast out were in any way related. Read more carefully next time.

There indeed appears to be a connection between Zero and the Greiga/Falzer beast. I don't know Japanese, but if I were to guess, I'd say the beast's data was reconstructed into Zero, much like Forte was from Pharoman. At least that's what I figured after seeing that head in the jar.

The one thing I've really hated about the Beast Out thing when they were in Beyondard was the fact that Rock could control the form. I[spoil:79f2511556] know in EXE 6 how the player controls the form till you do beast over[/spoil:79f2511556] but i'm really missing the red eyes for beast outs:(.
A great Idea for the Beast Chips...Reminds me of Axesswith the Soul Chips.
I want to see if any of the Beyondard Characters will have a Earth verson of themselfs.*prays for Kirisaki and KillerMan*

good ep 9/10

No, it (the Juuka theme) does some to be the same theme from Beast after all, I just hadn't heard the full version very often so didn't recognise it.

After seeing this episode, I'm pretty sure that they could squeeze in some kind of footage during the opening credits instead of a digital background. Maybe show Netto slot in a chip, Rockman firing his buster, Enzan stepping out of his limo, Blues turning his hand into a sword, Laika on his motorcycle, Searchman calibrating his rifle, then maybe a quick shot of the Professor and Zero, then a group shot of the support cast, Meiru, Dingo etc, when the Beast Plus logo appears. Just a thought.

Did anybody else notice that Yuuichirou looked, er, smaller near the end of the episode?

The credits at the Xebec page confirms this :]

ComicX6 has a point the opening credits are actully long enough to fit in some footage of main charecters, was it just laziness or didnt have that idea in mind at the time,

Netto had a strange voice at the beginning sounded like a lower toned version of trill ^__^

I simply loved this episode. The henshin foe the beast out griega was unnexpected. I think that the change to 10 minutes is the best move they could have possibly made.

By the way. What does "juuka irusu" mean? I heard it enough during the episode.

Also If you were to write that word in japaneese, How would it be spelled? Would it be spelled with the - after the first u like "ju-ka irusu"?

I think it means "Beast Viruses".
This episode was great. Especially part with Greiga Rockman ^^

Yeah, that's what it means.

If you want a spelling, it would be "Juuka virusu!" or somethink close to that

Here's something interesting that I just noticed. When Rockman Beasts Out, the shape of his eyes change. In his normal state, they're round, but in Beast Out, they become curved. This is most evident during the close up of his face when Zero is releasing the viruses, and when Rockman is breathing the fire. Sorry if this was stated sometime in the past, but I just noticed it, and thought it was interesting.
