4kids is leaving TMNT on a cliffhanger and showing a new TMNT show (fast Forward) in its place in september.
The company who made the TMNT show, had already made a season beyond the "Ninja Tribunal" episode of season 4. That season will not be aired on 4kids and most likely not on other tv stations. However the episodes will be released on DVD in 2007 >_<
I have made a petition in which i need a lot of signatures to show 4kids, that they should air the final "Lost" season.
Please sign the petition

Are they going to show that season after the fast forward thing or not. Because if they are, I won't care. (unless this actually is bad but I have a high tolerence for bad turtles stuff) |

The current TMNT now has a cliffhanger (ninja Tribunal episode).
In september, they are gonna air a new TMNT series by the same producers named Fast Forwards (which plays 99 years in the future) and has nothing to do with the current TMNT series.
The producers already have made a new season which continues where the cliffhanger episode stopped. But 4kids doesnt wanna air it.
that season will be DVD only and will be released somewhere in 2007.
I have made a petition so that we as TMNT fans could convince 4kids to show the final season, which they were gonna skipp/never air, to be aired. |

So... it'll be DVD only next year and there's no chance of a TV showing?
Now you may have my attention.
Besides they probally want to show it because of the toys coming out soon.
But this is the only show 4Kids did right. Seeing as it's not japenese and they didn't make it themselves. So they can't(shouldn't/better not) screw it up. |

4kids wanted the company who made the current TMNT series to stop making the current one and making the new one "Fast Forward".
According to 4kids, this should also attract the younger generations to the tmnt franchise.
And yes, it will be DVD only. They might air it if Fast Forwards ratings are too terrible....
this is my e-mail from the TMNT company:
Quote: | > I heard rumors of a "Lost Season" that will only be released on
> DVD. It will be were the season 4 final episode left of and the
> resurrection of the Real Shredder. If that lost season is real,
> will it ever be aired on tv?
The "Fast Forward" direction change was decided upon while season
five was still in development. The fifth season was originally
planned to be a continuation of the "Ninja Tribunal" story before the
"Fast Forward" direction change was implemented - hence the
unfortunate cliffhanger at the end of season four.
The good news is, "The Ninja Tribunal" story line will be completed
as the rumored "Lost Season" (though that title definitely isn't set
in stone) - the bad news is, it won't be airing on television in the
USA.
4Kids Home Video plans to debut the entire "Ninja Tribunal" story arc
on DVD in early 2007. This action-packed adventure will not be aired
on TV anywhere in the US by that time - so they will be "straight-to-
DVD" releases (at least in the United States - at the moment we're
not sure if they'll air anywhere else in the world, but it seems
unlikely). We'll post more info about "The Ninja Tribunal" DVDs on
the site as soon as we hear more news from 4Kids.
> Also, how will the final episode "Ninja Tribunal" tie in with fast
> forward?
As far as I know, it doesn't.
Thanks for writing!
Cheers!

and this is a short piece of info about Fast Forward
Quote: | Playmates Toys had announced plans for its new toy line based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward, the television series from 4Kids Entertainment that will air on Fox and on Cartoon Network.
The new series takes the Turtles 99 years into the future. Brought there by Cody Jones, the grandson of Casey Jones and April O¹Neil, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael are forced to adapt to a whole new world without their home, junk food or Shredder.
Twenty-six standalone episodes will begin airing in September, with Playmates' toy line launching in July. |

Destory my beloved Fox Kids! destory my beloved TMNT! YOU BASTARDS 4KIDS!
I don't see why they'd do that. TMNT is one of their best shows on the station. Then you got the horrialbe animes being played on there minus Sonic X.
I'm sure Teletoon in Canada will air the lost season. YTV aired Digimon Frontier when it went off Fox. So i'm sure Teletoon will air TMNT. They also aired the lost ep's of NT Warrior _________________ Xbox Live Gamertag username:

On one hand, I'm happy to know the series isn't over (Teletoon's description of the Exodus two-parter kind of implied this), but ending with a cliff-hanger but not airing the next season?! It doesn't even seem like there's a real reason. I really hope Teletoon comes through here. _________________ Red Green's words of wisdom:

As long as I can see the "lost season" I'll be fine. But this better not be horrible. I already really dislike the guy who runs 4kids for one remark he made. |

4kids is desperatly looking for something to get their ratings back up. They probably figure this new series will make them more money. However I doubt it. They probably won't last much longer due to their poor business decisions. |

They could let cartoon network show the other season. Like they do with yugioh GX. I think cartoon network could find some space for it. |
