Does liking Shoujo manga/anime make you any less of a man?

Well, apparently his reason of bugging me about it is that he thinks it's not 'appropriate' for me, and friends are meant to care for each other and so he thinks he should help me by telling me to stop reading such bad things.

Which I think is just a ridiculous excuse of the fact that he doens't like it.

He doesn't like me talking about shoujo mangas and he thinks we are talking like perverts. Wonder is, last time I talked about Negima's pantie shots was the one time when I just bought Volume 1, which is dated way back a month. The guy just think that I am reading inappropriate stuff and the fact that he doesn't like that. He wants me to stop talking about as just being the sole reason it's 'inappropriate'.

Again, lame excuse as most of the stuff he read is also inappropriate due to the amount of violence and blood drawn.

Anyway to knock sense into his head?

Speaking of which, I do -not- read only Negima. There is also Karin, Kashimashi, The Melacholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Shagukan no Shana, etc.
