~CHAPTER 26~

Haly K's Comment: Before we get on to the actual chapter, let me just say that I'm surprised that this fic got this far. I mean, in all honesty, I thought I'd finish this in about 10 chapters, since I finished my last chapter fic, The Star Pendant, at only 9 chapters. o_o; I'm quite glad that The Dream World Vacation went on longer than I'd guess! To me it means that I've slightly improved over my first creation. ( The most notable change is no longer writing in script format. I used to find that easier to write in. >.>; ) The point is that I'd like to thank all of you readers for continuing to read this fan fic, and also for giving comments and critques! Though, to tell the truth, I've gotten few ( Ok, none, to be extremely truthful.) critques. C'mon, peoples! I know I can improve, and I can't do it unless you tell me what's wrong! I admit, that I was a bit... disrespectful... to critques in the past, so that might of driven them away from me. e_x;; My apologizes to those whom I've gotten angry at for critques. Thou, there's only one person I know of who's given me a critque, and I've gotten angry at. She probably still doesn't forgive me T_T... ARGH! I don't realize how easily people forgive these kinds of things!! I don't know when to let it go!! X_=;; Erm, yeah. that's one of my bad points. That, and holding up a fan fic too long! Yikes! I apologize yet again! O_o

A shark's fin appeared on the surface of the water. It slowly disappeared back under as the pretator tried to find what it was looking for. The shark then spotted its prey dead ahead. It swam faster towards it, its tail swishing up and down like a dolphin's tail thou silent as space. The mass of green ahead of it was coming close into its view. The fish opened its mouth wide, revealing rows of razor sharp teeth. It was closing in on the green object in the water, while slowly humming something to itself which grew faster in rythem.....

" Dun-dun, dun-dun, dun-dun..."

And then...

THWACK!

" Ow! Why'd ya hit me?!" Galomon cried out.

WackoMan held onto his inflatable alligator while holding a foam pool noodle in the other hand, " It's still my turn to play with Allie! Beside, you could've bitten a hole in it!" He tried to thwack Galomon again, but the Water Digimon managed to dodge quickly in the water.

" Gimme that stupid thing!!" Galomon dove for the inflatable alligator again, but WackoMan managed to stuff part of the pool noodle in his mouth.

" Back, you shark dolphin hybird! Back, I say, back!"

" Mmmffh mffh mmm-mm mmmh!!" Galomon managed to bite off and spit out the pool noodle that was in his mouth, " Gimme!! You've had it for 15 minutes!!"

WackoMan raise 'Allie' out of the pool water so Galomon couldn't get to it, but the Digimon still tried to leap out of the water to get a bite out of it, " So?! I still have 15 more minutes! We agreed on 30 minutes for each turn!"

" Haly!" Galomon called out to the side of the pool, " How much time has passed?!"

Haly was sitting in a beach chair playing her Nintendo DS saying, " Marluxia, you die TODAY!! Then after this battle, I'll go after Black Dainn in Boktai 2!!"

" HALY!" Both WackoMan and Galomon cried out this time.

" Oh! Um," Haly checked a watch that was beside the chair, " It's been 17 minutes. Wacko still has 13 minutes left with Allie."

" See!" WackoMan stuck out his tongue at Galomon, who swam back to the other side of the pool in fustration.

" Can't go on..." Sora said in defeat in the Chain of Memories game Haly was playing on her DS.

" ARGH! NO!" Haly cried out in anger, " I was almost done with half of his health! I will have my revenge for this, Marluxia!! And for the 27 other times you've beaten me!!" Then she started the game up again.

Haly K's Comment: If you guessed that Galomon was humming the Jaws theme, then you win imaginary cookies! X3 I am have trouble on Marluxia in Chain of Memories and Black Dainn in Boktai 2, thou. No, I haven't battled and lost to Marluxia 27 times, but I have a feeling that that might happen. =_=;

" Brother, do you think this is wise?" Asked a female somewhere underwater.

" Come now, sister!" Replied a younger male voice, " It is quite simple: you attack the ship to test the Diva and the Guardian's powers, and once they've defeated you, that is, IF they defeat you, you retreat. Remember, though, no damage is to be done to the ship or anyone aboard, as Anexi requested."

" Why does she need to test them now?" The female voice asked, " They will surely help once the King of Sorrow has told them of her and her... predicament, and once they come to her, then she can test their power."

" I know, I know, but she still doesn't trust that Kos will do so. This is an extra precaution. Besides, she wishes to she if the Diva will not hold back her powers this time."

" I doubt that that is a good idea, brother. For all we know, the Diva could turn into a demon if she unleases all of the Star Pendant's power, or something worse!"

" Something... worse? What do you have in mind?"

" What I have in mind is..... oh, dare I say it? Could she possible turn into a..... a Hadorumkun?"

" A Hadorumkun?! Nonsense! The Star Pendant is powerful, but it is not as powerful without the Star Tag, so I doubt it would have enough power to turn the Diva into a Hadorumkun!"

" If you say so brother... I shall do it. After all, I'm doing this for you too."

" Yes. The Count and his little pets sealing me away in what's left of the Nykai for The Masters... Just like what they did to Anexi and Kos..."

" The ship is aproaching, brother. Shall I go now?"

" Yes, my sister, go forth. Remember: No damage to the ship or anyone else on board. This includes eating them."

The female sighed, " Ah, it can't be helped, really. I was hoping to getting in at least one snack, but orders are orders."

" High score! High score! High score!" The crowd around the DDR machine cheered to the one dancing.

" Eh, maybe it was a bad idea to bring Maddy here," Match said from nearby the crowd next to a Pac Man machine.

" What do you mean? She's having a great time! Heck, she'll probably get the high score on that song too," TorchMan replied as he played on a Frogger machine. The little frog then got run over by a truck, " Damn, I almost got into the top 10!"

" Geez, how long have we been here?"

TorchMan conitued to play Frogger, " 30 minutes."

" Liar. It must be as least 4 'o clock. It sure feels like it."

TorchMan then opened up a window in front of Match which showed the PET's ( Thus DenTech's) current time, and below that the time in the Dream World. ( Haly gave WackoMan and TorchMan programs that would show the current time of the part of the Dream World then were in.) The Dream World clock said '12:00 P.M.', " We came here at 11:30 A.M." TorchMan stated.

" Fine! I stand corrected."

The song playing on the DDR machine could be heard:

Then the song ended and the crowd cheered as the words 'NEW HIGH SCORE!' flashed across the screen. Maddy bowed several times, saying, " Thank you! Thank you!"

" Simple and Clean, the theme song of the first Kingdom Hearts, now conquered on DDR by the great Madori Iroaya A.K.A Maddy," TorchMan said after the song ended. Then his frog got run over by a truck again, " Damn! Not again!"

" What is this? Her fifth song or something?" Match asked.

" Let's see... First was 'DARE' by Gorillaz, then 'Install Your Heart' by Aki, 'Blue' by Eiffel 65, '19-2000 ( Soulchild Remix)' by Gorillaz ( Again), 'One More Time' by Daft Punk, 'Wahoo Stomp' by Klonoa ( I still can't believe he actually sang that!), then lastly there was 'Simple and Clean', and now..."

" Hi!" Maddy said as she walked over to Match and TorchMan. Someone else was now trying to get the high score on the DDR machine, but was already missing too many steps.

" Great job on the high scores, Maddy," TorchMan replied. His frog got turned into roadkill yet again, " Aw man! This is the fifth time!"

" How is he playing Frogger without any hands?" Maddy asked while staring at the arcade machine's screen. The little frog on it tried to get past the trucks, and managed to get to the other side of the road.

Match shrugged, " Beats me. He could always do that. You know, doing things like he had hands. I can't figure out how he does it. Same thing with MagicMan."

TorchMan growled, " Bah, I just can, alright?!"

" Just a simple question, Torchy," Maddy stuck out her tounge at TorchMan.

" DING DONG! DING DONG!" Went the loud speakers throughout the ship, then a voice spoke out of it, " Erm, testing! This thing is on, right? One two, one two...!"

" Do the announcement already!" Hissed another voice. Then a noise could be heard that sounded like someone thwacking someone else with a newspaper.

" Ow! Um, r-right!" Replied the first voice. Everyone on board snickered and giggled.

" Ah-Ah-Attention p-passengers!" The first voice went on while stuttering, " Wuh-We will buh-be--" He was thwacked by the newspaper again, " Ow! What was that one for?!"

" No stuttering!" Hissed the second voice, " Do you want to sound like a mouse or a man?!" Again, all of the passengers snickered and giggled.

" Uh, right sir!" Replied the first voice, " Wait! I meant boss! No, Puba! No--"

" GET ON WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!" Screeched the second voice, who then thwack the first for the third time.

" Um, yes. We will be entering the Marzelklo/Digi portal in about an hour. We should get to Kashabuku City by around 4 'o clock this evening. Thank you for your attention."

Haly K's Comment: Note that the planets in the Dream World usually have names that are a combination of each name of the 'games' on it if it has two or more. Example: Marzelklo = 'Mar' is for Mario, 'zel' is for Zelda, and 'klo' is for Klonoa. Which is how Maddy and co. all managed to get to Death Mountain from Breezegale. ( Breezegale is in Klonoa.)

" Glory Halleluyah!" Said the second voice, " Finally, you get something right!" Yhen the speakers turned off, but there were some people who were still laughing.

" Well, we'll be there soon now," Maddy said.

Suddenly, a violent jolt shock the whole ship. The passangers murmured to each other as the speakers came on again.

" The ship has been stopped by was appears to be a large blue octopus that now has a tentacle over the bow of the ship! Please, do not panic! I repeat, do NOT panic! Anyone near the bow right now should move to the back of the ship! Our defence squad is attacking the octopus as I speak!" Then the speaker went off.

" Wait, isn't the pool near the bow?!" Maddy asked in fright.

" Yeah, so?" Match replied.

Maddy grabbed him by the shoulders and yelled, " WackoMan, Galomon, and Haly are over there, you idiot!!"

" Gah! We gotta get over there!" Match then ran after Maddy towards the bow.

" Stay here, or go to the bow where that freaky octopus is and possibly get wet," TorchMan asked himself, then he shrugged as he said, " Oh, what the heck!" and followed his brother.

Well… I’m not the right person that can criticize the fics from a grammar point of view, because english is not my language (I’m italian) and I don’t want to result presumptuos (even ‘cause my english sucks, I admit -.- )… for me this fic is one of the better fics in this forum… The story has a drag rhythm, Wackoman is my favourite character (since the chapter that he had Chopper’s plushie, I LOVE Choppy!!! X3), Hinoken and Madoi are one of my most favourite couple in Rockman.EXE series and Haly is very likeable!!!
Only one question: when we can see again the other WWW members? I was so happy to see Zap and Elecman on the chapter 18! ^__^

Keep up the good work!

P.S: in the chapter you quoted the fantastic band Eiffel 65! GREAT!!! I love that band!!! :D

Eh, that's alright. Most people don't really give criques nowadays, I suppose. ^-^; As for the other WWW members, well, I'll probably bring in Zap and Elec back in, but maybe after the upcoming mini-arc. ( Yes, there's going to be a mini-arc. Sometime after the next chapter or so, I'm guessing.) Expect the next chapter in a couple of days. Well, if I don't get too caught up with Kingdom Hearts 2, that is. :O Hopefully in a few days. -_-;

Heh, maybe this fic is a bit good because it includes characters and games that have fans, but no one wants to write about them. At least, I haven't seen many fics that combine game universes, or has some of the stuff like mine. XD Y'know, while I was writing the Star Pendant, I thought most people wouldn't read it because it had characters that no one liked. I was probably just acting like a spoiled brat, though. Yeah, I was. -_-;

Eiffel 65 is one of my favorite bands, right up there with Gorillaz and Daft Punk. Eiffel 65 is from Italy, right? I want to be sure that the info I found on them was correct. :]

Okay, so I lied. What did I lie about? About Kingdom Heart 2 keeping me busy. Turns out, it's another game that's keeping me busy: Sly Cooper! Yes, I'm starting Sly 2 right now, and let me just say that Dimitri is my favorite villian so far. I mean, he's French, but he uses American slang! I crack up when he talks.

~CHAPTER 27~

" Thunder Burst!!" Galomon shot out a ball of electricity at the giant octopus that had several tentecles around the ship. The octopus itself was a pale blue and had dark blue lines over its body. The Thunder Burst hit the octopus between the eyes, stunning it for a moment.

" C'mon, let's get outta here!" Haly said, " I'm sure da defence squad ov dis ship is comin' right now!"

" I'm already outta here!" WackoMan said, already making his way to the back of the ship.

" Galomon, c'mon!" Haly called back to Galomon as she followed WackoMan.

The octopus shook free of its paralasis and tried to get Galomon by shooting out a stream of bubbles at him. He dodge and then followed Haly, " I'm coming, I'm coming!"

The octopus looked around the ship, ' I don't see the Diva or the Guardian anywhere. Do you think they went to the back of the ship, brother?'

' I hope not,' A voice replied, ' I want to see what Konike's desendent can do.'

Impmon and Janga were hiding behind a bunch of fallen chairs near where the octopus was. Impmon whispered, " Wait, isn't that one of the Immortals?"

" Ah, you're actually right for once!" Janga replied as low pitched as he could, " I believe that's the Sea-Ruling Immortal... Hm, what was her name again? Dalin? Daviln? Something like that."

" She's a Frost element, A.K.A an Ice type, right?" Impmon asked.

" Yes, I'm pretty sure she is. Why do you ask?"

Impmon smirked, and made purple fireballs appear at the tips of his fingers, " Ain't it ovbious? I can take her down easily!"

Janga peeked over the chairs, " Wait, hold it!"

" Huh? Why?"

" The Diva and the Guardian are here! I want to see how they can handle this!"

Impmon made the fireballs disappear and crossed his arms over his chest, " Killjoy."

Maddy and Match had just arrived at the bow of the ship. The octopus looked over in their direction, ' Ah! They're here, brother!'

' Good, good,' The voice replied again, ' Remember: only test their power. Don't go and destroy them!'

' I know what to do!' The octopus lifted a tentecle and tried to smash Maddy and Match with it, but they both managed to run out of the way in time.

' Don't turn them into pancakes either!!' The voice hissed.

' Pancakes? Oh, I like pancakes! Especially with Starberry syrup! Yuuum.'

' DVALINN!!'

' Er, sorry! Got distracted there. Eh-heh.'

Maddy and Match hid behind a wall near the pool so the octopus wouldn't see them. Maddy looked around and said, " Where are WackoMan, Galomon, and Haly?"

" Hiya Maddy!" WackoMan said from his PET. Maddy took it out and saw her Navi on the screen. He was actually near the back of the ship already, and was talking to Maddy via the video link. He asked, " Hey, where are you and Match?"

Maddy gritted her teeth, " Near the giant freaky octopus. WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?!"

" Screeeek!!" The octopus screeched as it found their location from Maddy's scream. It brought down another tentecle on them, but yet again they managed to run out of the way. This time they hid behind one of the ship's smoke stacks that was nearby.

" Oh, near the back of the ship with the other passengers," WackoMan replied. Then he got pushed out the way by Haly.

" You two gotta get outta there!" She said, " Don't worry thou, da defense squad should be nearby!" Then she heard the screams and the sounds of the 'defence squad' being tossed aside by the octopus and running away from it nearby. She sweatdropped as she said, " O-kay. So much fer da defence squad, neh?"

" Great. Now what do we do?" Match asked.

" Y'know, that octopus seemed familiar ta me. Could you hold up da PET so I can get another look at it?" Maddy held up the PET towards the octopus from where she was hiding, and then Haly exclamed, " Ah ha! Now I know! She's Dvalinn, da Sea-Rulin' Immortal and one of da bosses in Boktai 2! How did I not notice dat before?!"

Maddy brought the PET down in front of her and asked, " Have you beaten her in your game, Haly?!"

" Oh, sure I have! She's a Frost element, so she's weak against fire. Go get her, Guardian of Fire!"

" Wait, she's an octopus, right?" Match asked, " So isn't she suppose to be a Water type?!"

" Eh, well, if there are certain element rules in da game that a character comes from, then they gotta follow those rules. Boktai element rules are COMPLETELY different from the Pokemon and Navi element rules you're use to; in Boktai, Frost elements are weak against Fire elements, but they also act as water so they're strong against fire as well."

" What, so you want me to go fight against someone who could beat me easily?!"

" Hold up! Guardians may have da POWER of an element, but they aren't da element themselves! Got it?"

" ... Do I really have to do this? I mean, I haven't gotten any practice with my powers, let alone my wings, and--"

Maddy placed two fingers on his mouth to stop him, " Seeing as you have no other option, yes Kenichi-kun," Then she removed her fingers from his mouth.

" Say, where's TorchMan, Haly? Is he with you?"

Haly smirked, " Yup! Turns out, he wus gonna tag along with ya ta help, but he got too hydrophobic and came running back here. Heh!"

" I can hear you from here, you know!!" TorchMan yelled from somewhere off screen.

' Heh, Ryu, just because you're a Fire Navi, doesn't mean you have to be so scared of the water now!'

' Aw, shaddap!' Ryu replied, ' I'm a Fire Navi, and that's final! Now, go get in there and burn that octopus into kalamari!'

' ... I don't like kalamari.'

' You're not gonna EAT her afterwards! Now GO!'

Haly K's Comment: Wait, isn't kalamari suppose to be raw, like sushi? o_o;

" Well? Get going!" Maddy said, pushing Match towards Dvalinn. Match sighed and made his wings appear.

" Wait, Haly?" Match asked, " Do you happen to know anything else about the powers of a Guardian?"

Haly thought for a moment, then shoke her head, " Besides having control over an element, nope. Dere might be some hidden powers, but I'm not sure."

Match sighed again then flew up near the top of the smoke stack where Dvalinn would see him. Maddy muttered, " No practice with his wings, eh?"

The octopus looked up and saw Match floating in the air, ' Brother, I can only see the Guardian now. Should I get the Diva out too?'

' No, Anexi said she'd want to get the Diva herself if she isn't going to fight now. Try not to get burned too badly, sister.'

Dvalinn let out a soft groan, ' Brother, I wish you hadn't reminded me of what he can do.'

Match glupped, ' Okaaay, so what do I do now?'

' Hey, you're the Guardian of Fire, not me,' Ryu replied.

' Look, I have absolutely NO practice with my powers and--' Match dodged a swing of one of Dvalinn's tentecles in the air.

' No practice? You're flying pretty well right now.'

' Alright, if you're not going to help, then stay out of this!' Match dodged another swing from Dvalinn.

' All you're doing right now is flying from left to right, right to left! You NEED help!'

' It's not like I can hold up my hand, and think of a fireball, and it'll--' A fireball the size of a basketball appeared in his right hand.

' It' more easy than you think, Tadashi.'

' Bah, whatever!' Match then threw the fireball at Dvalinn, which struck her in between her eyes. She screeched, and rubbed where she was hit with two of her tentecles. Suddenly, she caught Match off guard by swinging one of her tentecles at him and wrapping it around him.

' Keni--' Match set the tentecle on fire, causing Dvalinn to let him go. She swung the tentecle around wildly, trying to put out the fire that was rapidly spreading up her arm towards her.

Match smirked as he flew up higher, ' I'm getting use to this, Taichi. No need to worry!'

Dvalinn finally slammed the flaming tentecle into the ocean water, putting out the fire and showing the black burn marks left after the steam cleared. She glared at Match, ' Oh, this isn't over yet, Guardian. Who says that you HAVE to win this battle? All that's needed is to see if you have potential!'

Great chapter- the battle with Dvalinn is really heating up! Impmon's comment that he could take the Dvalinn easily was pretty cute (he's so self-confident ^_^ ), and the explanations of Boktai elemental weaknesses was helpful.

~CHAPTER 28~

Haly K's Interview: Yes, and now it's time for an interview with one of the characters! I think I'll do this from time to time. This one is with Mr. Match, A.K.A Kenichi Tadashi Hino and the new Guardian of Fire. He'd like to point out a few things for you all. Go ahead, Match!

Match: Alright. Yes, I am aware that I make Scottish puns sometimes in the dub, but as stated in an earlier chapter, I don't do it as often now. Heck, I don't do it anymore at all, really.

Haly K: His therapy sessions with Maddy have helped! ^-^

Match: Wait, how did you find out about that?!

Haly K: Um... Next thing to talk about! As stated in an earlier chapter, you also don't like haggis, kilts, or bagpipes, which are the main things dub flamers poke fun at about you. Can you give examples of why you hate each?

Match: Be more than happy to, Haly! Firstly, not only did haggis taste terrible the first time I tried it, but I also got food poisioning from it afterwards!

Haly K: Eck! That sounds horrible!

Match: Yeah, I haven't even tried to look at it since, but the fact that my grandmother force fed me her haggis didn't help much. So... yeah, I ended up hating it completely.

Haly K: And what about bagpipes?

Match: Bleh, those things were too hard to play! I don't how the heck my father and uncle managed to play them. They sound horrible too! I'm better at the flute and piano anyways.

Haly K: And kilts?

Match: Ahem, I think we ought to play a clip for that one...

*VIDEO CLIP*

Friend #1: *holds up a kilt* C'mon Match! Try it on!

Friend #2: Yeah! We'll pay you 100 Zenny if you do!

Match( Younger version): There is no way I'm gonna wear that friggin' excuse for a skirt, ever if you paid me all the fortunes in the world, both known and hidden! And I don't give a damn if it's suppose to be worn by men, I ain't wearin' it! I don't care if Satan himself appear here and now and threatens to send me to Hell if I don't wear it! Heck, going to Hell would be WAAY better than wearin' that @!#$%&! thing!!

Friend #1: Whoa... o_o;

Friend #2: Well, he's definently mad right now... O_O;

Haly K: Were you being serious about all that?! O_o

Match: Yes, especially the 'going to Hell would be better' part. By the way, I only cuss when I'm very angry. And my version of 'very angry' is most likely different from your version.

Haly K: Uh, o-kaay... *checks watch* Ah! It's time to get back to the battle with Dvalinn now!! Bye Match!!

Match: See ya. *returns to story*

Haly K: Uh, yeah. Back to the battle now. ( He was serious?! o_O;; )

Dvalinn tried to stab Match with her tentecles like spears, but he kept dodging from left to right. The Immortal tried to also hit Match with streams of bubles from her mouth but he also dodged that.

' Dang, Ken! You got her angry with that one!' Ryu commented.

' She's attacking too quickly,' Match replied, still dodging, ' How am I suppose to get a hit in?!'

' Attack while dodging, duh,' Ryu stated the ovbious.

Match winced, ' How the heck am I suppose to do two things at the same time?!'

' Fly higher into the air so she won't reach you, dumbell.'

Match flew higher at Ryu said. Dvalinn could reach him with her tentecles, and the bubbles from her mouth popped before they could reach him. Unfortunately, Match got too close to the smoke stack, so he ended up fly through the smoke.

Match coughed, and yelled at Ryu, ' You what you made me did!!'

' Um, at least black looks good on you, right?'

' Two words: NOT FUNNY,' He wiped some of the soot off of his jacket and pants, and flapped his wings to get rid of the soot on them.

' Well, at least I'm right about Dvalinn not being able to reach you up there, right?!'

' True,' But then Dvalinn spoke, " You coward! You call yourself the Guardian of Fire?! I bet Konike is looking down upon you and is feeling ashamed that you're his decendent!! Come back down he and fight me, you halfling!!"

" Hu-Halfling?!" Match muttered.

" Of course, you fool!" Dvalinn continued, " Your father was of Guardian blood, but I bet your mother was just a human slut!! You're a freak among us here in the Dream World! Half-Dream blood, but half-human blood too?! Whoever heard of such a monstrosity?!?" Then she cackled wildly.

" Th-that little--!!" Maddy said, her eyes swelled up, " I can't believe he said that about him! I don't care if he's just a halfling! I still love him!!"

' Sister, if you end up getting you eyes burned out of your sockets for saying that, then I will not help you heal,' Dvalinn's brother spoke in a serious tone.

' Shut up!' Dvalinn shot back, ' Look at the fool! He is tied so closely to his human mother! He'll think of himself as a circus freck from now on! HA!!'

" DVALINN..." Match muttered, tears streaming down his face.

' Kenichi? Are you going to let that freaky blue octopus get away with that?! You're a Guardian, whether you've half human as well or not! Show her the power of fire!!'

' Oh, I'm gonna show her it alright,' Then, Match swooped down towards Dvalinn.

" Has the little halfing decided to come and fight?" Dvalinn said mockingly as she shot two tentecles towards Match. Suddenly, long rope of fire wrapped around her tentecles and slammed them onto the deck of the ship, causing the Immortal to screech in pain as the flames continued to burn.

" Has the little Immortal decided to learn her lesson now?" Match said in the same mocking tone, now flying a few yards in front of Dvalinn. She was in shock for a few minutes, then she shot out the rest of her tentecles at Match, only to have the same thing as before happen to them.

' B-Brother!!' Dvalinn tried to call out to her brother, ' It burns too much! And it's keep my tentecles on the deck!! Help!!'

' After what you said about the Guardian, frankly I'm not surprised by this,' Her brother replied in a calm tone.

' Brother...'

' You're an Immortal! Even if the Guardian kills you now, you will revive yourself later.'

' But it hurts,' She struggles against the ropes of fire to get her tentecles free, but it was to no avail.

" Listen up!" Match said, " I know you called my mother a slut and all, but I'm not a down right pyromaniac like most people think!"

" Huh?" Dvalinn gasped.

" It's not just a coincident that you're here. I can tell."

" Hu... How...?"

" If you really WERE attacking the ship, then you'd have a couple of tentecls fired off at me, and a couple of others trying to crush the hull of this ship. Instead, you focused all off your attention on me, so I guessed that you were sent by someone to see if I had potental as a Guardian, right?"

" Y-Yes..."

" Alright then," Match landed between two of Dvalinn's tentecles on the deck, " If you apologize for what you said, I'll let you off easy this time. If not, then--"

" NO!" Dvalinn finally started crying from the pain, " I don't want to know what you'll do to me if I don't apologize!! I'm sorry!! I actually didn't meant what I said; I just wanted to get you to use your powers! I'm really am sorry!!"

Match smiled, " Apology accepted," Then he snapped his fingers and the flames around Dvalinn's tentecles disappeared. They slid slowly back into the water.

" By the way," Match continued, " If you know anyone else that wants to see if I really AM the Guardian of Fire, tell them that I'd appreciate it if they could tell me ahead of time, alright?"

" Y-Yes sir!!" Dvalinn replied in a cowardly tone. Then she dove into the sea. Match folded his wings and they disappeared.

" K-Keni-ichi..." Maddy stuttered from behind. Match turned around to see her crying.

" Wha? Maddy? Why are you crying?!" Match asked in a concered tone.

Maddy smiled, " I'm sorry, it's just... When Dvalinn said that... I don't know, I just start crying..... I do that when someone I care about... gets their feelings hurts..... I couldn't help it, I--" Match stopped her by placing two fingers on her mouth.

Match smiled back, " Hey, Dvalinn said she didn't meant it. And she was telling the truth since she probably didn't want her tentecles burned off," He then removed his fingers from Maddy's mouth, and then Maddy hugged him.

" Oh Kenichi!!" Maddy sobbed, her face buried in Match's chest, " Back in World Three, I always thought you'd never even be considerate for someone like you did with Dvalinn just now!! I'm so sorry..." She continued crying.

" Can't blame you for thinking that. I had a bad temper huh? I forgive you, even though you don't think of me that way anymore, and by the way..." Match then sweatdropped. " ... Could you, um, stop crying on me like this? My jacket's getting wet..."

Maddy let go and looked at him and smiled, " Sorry about that too."

" You apologize too much!"

" You do too!"

" What?! Name a time when I apologized for something!"

" The time after our tag team battle in the N1 Grand Prix, you apologized for arguing with me during the battle, and then after that there was the time when you apologized for holding my hand while we were watching the glowing beam thingy that appeared during Chaud and Lan's fight from the pier after we escaped from the stadium, and the time you dropped that bowl of curry on me, and the time that you were angry at me when I went to work for Gauss, and the time you almost tripped me, and the time--"

Match blushed, " Ok! Ok! I apologize too much! There!"

" And you blush too much, too. Say I name the times when you've blushed?"

" No, do me a favor and don't say them, just..... no."

" Alright then!" Maddy kissed him, " By the by, you did great in that battle against Dvalinn! It was so cool how you used fire to pin her tentecles down like that!"

" Oh, so NOW you congraulate me?!"

" What's that suppose to mean?!"

" Oh, nothing, nothing."

" C'mon, tell me!"

" No."

" Please!"

" No!"

" Pleazzze!"

" I said NO, dammit!"

Maddy smirked and wrapped an arm around Match's shoulders, " You're hiding something!"

Match blushed again, " No I'm not!"

" A-HA!"

" A-ha what?"

" You blushed again!"

" Don't go and bring that up again woman!"

" I can bring up whatever I want!"

" No you can't."

" Yes I can!"

" No."

" Yes!"

" No."

" Yes!"

" For the love of... Will you stop arguing with me?!"

" No!"

" Why not?!"

" Just because!"

" ARGH!!! What the hell is wrong with you woman?!?"

Haly K's Comment: C'mon, they're a couple! You have to expect for them to argue, right?! XD

TorchMan, WackoMan, Galomon, and Haly were standing nearby, watching Maddy and Match continue their argument.

" Ya think it's a bad thing that they're arguing?" Galomon asked.

" Heck no!" TorchMan answered, " They've argued plenty of time before this, and they were still together."

" Yeah," Haly agreed, " Every relationship has its ups 'n downs, right?"

" Yup," WackoMan nodded.

" Umm, is the giant octopus gone??" Asked a passenger that had retreat to the back of the ship before.

" Yeah, is gone," Haly replied, still watching Maddy and Match argue with each other.

" Er, why are those two arguing?" Another passenger asked.

" They're a couple, what else do you expect?" WackoMan replied.

Zany chapter- the interview was neat, and the battle was decent. The rope of fire trick was cool, but Dvalinn's cowardly escape felt like a cop-out. I mean it's an immortal -_-; ! Oh well, the rest of the chapter made up for it, being both entertaining and sweet (ah, the lover's quarrel).

Last week, a family trip to a party for Mother's Day in another city meant no new chapter. This week, new chapter! Yayness! :D But next week, yet ANOTHER family trip, this time to Puerto Rico. @_X Ah well, I least I'm still keeping this fic going. x_x;

~CHAPTER 29~

My, your sister put up quite a fight, Dainn. To tell the truth, I thought that the Guardian would finish her off more painfully.

You always think that those with great power have no emotions. He proved you wrong on that.

I'm a bit surprise that Dvalinn ran off like that, though. Can't Immortals simple revive themselves later if they are killed?

Yes, but Dvalinn is one of the few who would rather avoid the pain of death than get killed and be revived.

Doesn't the Pile Drive eliminate the Dark Matter within Immortals, thus killing them for good?

Bah, that's only what we want them to think. We can still revive our selves after a Pile Drive, but it takes much longer since we also need to recollect our Dark Matter, which is also not destoryed.

Ah, and I presume that you Immortals are in hiding so no one will try to find a more permanent solution to their Undead problems?

Yes. Besides, I wouldn't want to see Django miserable only because he failed at defeating us.

He and the other Heroes will find out sooner or later...

Kos said that he'll make the Diamond of Sorrow activate when the ship starts to enter the portal, thus sending them to Hyuponia.

How did he manage to contact the Diva? Normally he couldn't do that, not even by use of his pyschic powers... unless...

He sent his pet to her, he's keeping in touch with her through him.

He's a clever one, the King of Sorrow. I still find it strange that his real name is also the initials of his title.

" Die I say, ya fiendish Immortal!!" Haly said to her DS while lying on her bed, " Die die die!"

Galomon was sleeping underneath her bed, but woke up due to Haly's threats. He asked, " Say, hasn't the ship gone through the portal yet?"

" Naw, in about 15 more minutes or so," Haly replied, not stopping her game.

" GAAH!" Django cried out in Haly's game as his HP reached zero. Then the screen went black and the red words 'GAME OVER' appeared on the screen.

" NO!" Haly cried out, " Daaaaang you, stupid stupid Black Dainn!! I will defeat ya and da Doomsday beast!!" Then she started up the game again. Galomon rolled his eyes and went back to sleep.

' Eh, we're almost there,' Galomon thought to himself, ' I wonder if Master'll let me go to Kashabuku City with the Diva... I really would like to get in a fight or two...'

Haly K's Comment: Annnnnd... More foreshadowing. Yayness. XD

" Five more minutes til we get through the portal," TorchMan said while looking at his PET's clock program, which said '12:55 P.M.'

" We should... be at Kashabuku... City by... 4 'o clock... neeeh," Maddy said sleeply. She was laying on her bed.

" Okay, so we go into the portal at 1:00 P.M.," WackoMan said, " and they said we'd be there by around 4 'o clock. So it takes about 3 hours after we've gone through?"

" Depends on how long it take to go through the portal," Match replied. He was sitting upright on his bed, watching Maddy.

" Huh, good point."

Suddenly, something underneath Maddy's bed started to glow a pale blue color.

" M-Maddy! What's that under your bed?!" Match asked, shaking Maddy awake.

" Hum...?" Maddy mumbled, still half asleep, " Wha? Oh," Maddy reached down underneath her bed and pulled out the blue diamond, " The Diamond of Sorrow... It's--"

" Wait, Diamond of Sorrow?" Match interupted, " Maddy, is there something you're not telling me?"

" Ken..." Maddy keep her eyes away from his.

Match smiled softly, " Hey, if you tell me now, I'll forgive you for not telling me earlier."

" Um, well, you see... back on Yoshi Island... this guys contacted me telepathly, you know?"

" Okay, who is he?"

" The Ruduki vo Zurreai..."

" Um, what?"

" I meant the King of Sorrow, sorry... I said his name in the Ancient language... which is the first language every made... um..... Where was I?"

" So, the King of Sorrow was the one who said he needed your help back on the island, right?"

" Yeah, he also said a bit earlier... today that this diamond will... uh, lead the ship... into his king...dom... Neeeh..." Maddy layed back down on the bed.

Match sweatdropped, " Geez Maddy, you're acting like you're drunk."

" I'm slee-py..."

TorchMan came into the conversation, " Wait, so the diamond'll lead the ship to... where ever this 'King of Sorrow' guy is?"

Maddy replied in a half asleep tone, " Yes... Dunno how... though..."

WackoMan looked around, " Wait, isn't the ship going into the portal in about 2 minutes?"

" What, you think this diamond might mess with the portal somehow? Like changing where the portal can lead to?" Match asked.

" Well, since we're going through the portal soon," WackoMan replied, " and the diamond's glowing, it seems logical to asume that both are connected, right?"

" Hold the phone, you actually know what 'logical' and 'asume' mean?" TorchMan asked in a mocking tone.

" Hey hey HEY! Just 'cause I'm a clown does NOT make me stupid!!" The clown Navi shot back.

Haly K's Comment: The King of Sorrow and Hyuponia are from Klonoa, just so you don't go and think I made 'em up, alright?

Haly had one of her floppy ears pressed against a wall in her room, listening in on the conversation next door.

" Diamond ov Sorrow, neh?" She said to herself, " ..... Wait, da King ov Sorrow?! How can that diamond thingy get us ta Hyuponia?! There's a 13th level spell on that place that Klonoa and da others haven't cracked yet!! How can da diamond bypass it?!"

" The diamond is an object from Hyuponia, a magical one at that," Galomon said from underneath the bed, " It will lead itself, and the ship, back to its home. Didn't you said you were a magician, Haly?"

Haly sweatdropped and laughed nervously, " Eh, well, I'm not a FULL magician yet, just an apprentice. I trained a bit with da pristesses in La-Lakoosha, then they sent meh ovar ta Miss Lephise after they saw how well I did with magic..."

" Well, you haven't used it much."

" Eh, I know... I showed ya meh hammer, it's what I use to preform spells with... I rarely use 'em, thou," She smirked, " I guess thwacking is just more fun! But still, I'm definately gonna use it more often, since that's what Miss Lephise told meh ta do."

Haly K's Comment: You remember Haly's hammer from several chapters back, right? The chapter where they where fighting in the Kakariko Graveyard, and Haly knock out Zweegle with it, right? Yes, Haly uses it to cast spells. She doesn't just waves her fingers, y'know. That'd make it too easy! XP

" What happens when you become a full magician?"

" Well... I'll get a purple feather fer meh hat ta show that I'm a full magician from Miss Lephise, plus I'll also be given a Spirit Gem fer meh hammer."

" A Spirit Gem?"

" Yeah, ya see, I also trained under pristesses before, and da symbol ov a full priestess is a green feather on their hat, which is why I'll get a purple one since I'll be a magician, not a priestess. Spirit Gems are given ta full priestesses on a weapon that they'll carry with 'em. It help with their magic, since it also has a Magic Spirit inside."

" Okay, but guys can get Spirit Gems and go through training like pritestess, right?"

" Yup, but then they'd just be priests, and they'd be trainin' in Coronia, which is in Phantomile."

" Say, doesn't your cousin Klonoa have a Spirit Gem and a Magic Spirit? You know, his ring and his friend Huepow? Is he a priest or something?"

Haly shrugged, " I dunno for sure... He said he might be, but he doesn't remember goin' through training and stuff... He can do a lot of wind spells, thou."

" And finally, what IS the difference between a priest/priestess and a magician??"

Haly shrugged again, " Aw, I dunno! They never bothered ta 'splain that ta meh, now that I think ov it."

Haly K's Comment: And there's a bit of back story on Haly, Klonoa, and some of my theories of the Klonoa games. ^_^ Admit it, you forgot about Klonoa from 'The Star Pendant'. :<

" Aw, I dunno!" Haly's voice came out of the Star Pendant, " They never bothered ta 'splain that ta meh, now that I think ov it."

" I knew I heard her voice somewhere," Maddy comment as she held the Star Pendant, " She eavsedrops on us, we do the same to her!"

" Gee, I wonder when she will be a full magician," WackoMan wondered.

The ship suddenly shuddered, and everyone looked around. The intercom on the ship came on, " Um, we are now going through the portal to the Digital World, but the shaking shouldn't have happened..."

" But please don't panic!" Said another voice on the intercom, " We're certain that it was nothing! Nothing at--" Then the intercom turned off, thus cutting off the one speaking.

" The diamond?" Maddy looked at it carefully. It was now glowing and fading in rythem, like a beating heart. Then, the diamond flashed brightly, and when the light faded away it had disappeared.

The intercom came back on again, " Slight technical difficultlies there... We are now-- Hu-hey! This isn't the Digital Sea! This is..."

Match and Maddy ran to the window to see where they were. Outside, the sunlight came down as if it were going through water, almost as if the ship was underwater. The cruise ship was underwater, but it wasn't actually in the water. A magic dome protected a large, ancient castle and the ship from the ocean surrounding it. The cruise ship was in very shallow water within the dome, and nearby on the piece of land that held the castle were small red dots that were moving. They looked like dots because Maddy and Match were looking down at them from a high window.

The voice finished his sentence at last, " This... is Hyuponia..."

Okay, so summer vacation's started up for me already ( Is it because I live in Florida? :O ) but I still can't get the chapters out fast enough. Why? Simple: my mom has me clean bits of the house every day, which leaves me too tried to think of a chapter. The good news, I'm still updating on the weekends ( Of course.) and I get pay $25 each week for the cleaning. Yay me!

So... yeah. *cough* Onto this week's chapter. >_>;

~CHAPTER 30~

All the passengers of the cruise ship had gotten off onto the shore of the 'island' where the castle was. The red 'dots' that were on the shore earlier had feld into the castle, which now looked more like an ancient city than a castle. Most of them were complaining about the current situation, " What the heck is this place?!" " Why are we here...?" " Oi, how da heck did we managed ta get here?!" " Wh-what if th-there are monsters h-here??"

" Calm down, calm down!" Said a member of the crew of the ship, quite possible the captain. Maddy and the others were at the back of the crowd, so they couldn't tell, " I asure you, as sone as we figure out how we got here we will find a way out! Please remain calm!"

This only make the crowd complain louder. Haly muttered while rolling her eyes, " Well, so much fer stayin' calm, neh?"

Match turned to Maddy, " Didn't you say that some sorrow guy needed your help?"

" Oi! His name is da King ov Sorrow! Not 'some sorrow guy'!!" Haly said rudely, " His real name is Kos, though."

Match asked Haly, " You know him?"

" Of course she does!" Maddy replied for Haly, " The King of Sorrow is a well know character from the Klonoa series. If you've played 'Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil', though."

" So I haven't played the games, but still, Haly knows him, right?"

" Yup!" Haly replied, " Should I 'splain our little situation?"

" Yeah! Tell us about your boyfriend!" Galomon said in a mocking tone.

" HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Haly screeched while thwacking Galomon with her hammer, " Ya say that again, and I'm gonna turn ya inta sushi! Got it?!"

" Ow... Yes ma'am," Galomon replied, edging away from the young magician.

" Okays, now ya see, as I've said before, Kos is a friend of mine and of Klonoa too. He used ta be a villain, but he stopped 'cause he said that 'it was wrong ta use sorrow fer evil'. Da endin' fer Klonoa 2 pretty much summed that up. But, around da time when Grave was runnin' amok in your world, da three Masters ( Yes, they started workin' together back then.) tried ta get Kos to work for 'em. He refused, ov course, but sadly Ghadius, da Master who was most skilled at magic, sealed Kos and his kingdom, this kingdom, away from da other worlds by castin' a 13th level sealing spell on it."

" Wait," Maddy interupted, " What do you mean by 'from the other worlds'?"

" Ah, well," Haly scratched her head, " That goes a bit inta da history of the Three Worlds. Ya know that da Spirits ov Light and Darkness, Quara and Ruai, created da Three Worlds, right?"

Everyone nodded, and Haly continued, " Well, no one's perfect, and that includes da Spirits. After da Three Worlds were created, they found out that there were still pieces of the Nykai left in between da worlds. Da Spirits decided to leave 'em alone, since most people could only travel to worlds, not in between 'em. So da Nykai that was left was named 'The Void Between The World'."

" Gee, that's almost as 'creative' as 'The World That Never Was'," Galomon replied sarcastically.

" Shut up!" Haly thwacked the Digimon with her hammer again, " I said I'd use meh hammer more often and I will!!"

" Ouch! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Galomon said.

Maddy asked, " So, Ghadius sealed the King of Sorrow and this place away in The Void Between the Worlds, right?"

" Yup," Haly replied.

" And... There's no normal way of getting to this place through a regular portal, right?"

" Right."

" Then how did we--?!"

" Da Diamond ov Sorrow, remember?"

" Oh yeah... It led us back to its home..."

" Ya over heard meh conversation with Galomon, didn't ya?"

" Well, yes..."

" HA! I knew it!" Haly turned to Galomon, " Ya owe me ten Rupees fer that! I told ya so!"

" Bleh!" Galomon stuck his tounge out at Haly.

" Okay, so how do we get out of here?" Maddy asked.

" Well, we'll need ta break da sealing spell on this place. There are 13 seals, all in one place, and I'm sure if we find Kos he'll know were they are. Klonoa and da other Heroes have already broken 4 seals, so that makes it easier on da Star Pendant."

" Why does it always come down to the Star Pendant?" Maddy muttered.

" Hey, look on the bright side," Match said, " At least you weren't kidnapped this time and you were actually ASKED for help."

" Good point," Maddy replied.

" Woah! So this is the Kingdom of Sorrow, eh? Good old Hyuponia! I vacationed here once before I went to work for Trigoya," Impmon commented. He and Janga had gotten away from the crowd to explore the area.

" Hum, apparently the kingdom has start to crumble again. Literally," Janga replied, noticing that the walls of the castle and the surounding buildings looked old and worn out.

" Y'know, back when we worked for Trigoya, I heard a rumor that one of the Masters' top generals got left behind here after Master Ghadius sealed it away."

" Bah, you'll believe anything, won't you?"

Impmon looked up at an unlit torch that was mounted onto the wall of what looked like a house, " Say, this place could use a little light," He made a dark purple fireball appear in his hands, and he threw it at the torch, thus lighting it, " There! That looks better now, right?"

A deep growling could be heard from somewhere nearby. Janga glared at Impmon, " I hope for your sake that that had nothing to do with you lighting that torch."

Impmon shrugged, " Well, why would it?"

Then they heard another noise. This one sounded like a gate opening. The growling was heard again, only much louder.

" I'm be damned if I can't find a way to blame this on you," Janga pointed at Impmon.

" What? For all we know we could be hearing things!"

The growling was heard yet again, only it sounded MUCH closer this time.

" Okay, so maybe that IS something bad," Impmon said nervously.

" I know this place like da back of meh hand! Really!" Haly said as she stood at a crossroads near the castle, looking down one road and then the other.

" Oh, come ON! We've been walkin' around for, what, 3 hours?!" Galomon replied.

" Five minutes," WackoMan said, checking the PET clock.

" Haly, if this place was sealed away around the time Grave started running around in the Human World," Maddy said, " then it's been about a year and 3 months since you visited this place, right?"

" Eh heh, well, I guess," Haly replied nervously.

" Kos is most likely at his castle," Match said, " and since the castle is pretty much the tallest building here, it's easy enough to find it. So why don't we just go to the castle."

" Uh, right! I wus just about ta suggest that! Yeah! Onward ta da castle!" Haly charged onto the road ahead that led to the castle. Galomon flopped after her. Maddy and Match walked behind them.

" I was wondering when someone would point that out," TorchMan muttered.

" Oooo, lookie!" Haly said in amazement up ahead. She gazed over a cliff where below was a small plaza.

" But what IS that thing?" Galomon asked.

" Heh, who cares? It's kinda fun watching 'em run around like dat, y'know?"

" Hey, good point!"

Maddy and Match looked down. In the plaza, Impmon and Janga were being chased by a large black blob of... something. It looked like it was burning with purple flames, though. Match asked, " Okay, so you two are going to stand here watching those two down there get chased by that... thing?!"

Haly replied, " That's the plan."

Galomon agreed, " Yup."

" Haly, you ought to be ashamed for youself!" Maddy said to Haly, " You're a magician, shouldn't you be HELPING people?!"

" I'm working towards black mage, actually," Haly replied.

" You sick little--"

" Whaaat? I wus just kiddin'! I didn't think ya'd take meh seriously!" Then she jumped down into the plaza and stepped in front of the black... thing. It stopped in front of her.

" Stop, vile beastie!" Haly commanded while raising her hammer, " I, Haly Kuronoa, am da magic apprentince ov Miss Lephise, da former Diva ov da Star Pendant!"

Haly K's Comment: Yes, her last name is Kuronoa. Originally, the 'K' in my user name stood for 'Klo'. X3

" Wait," Impmon said as he stopped running and looked back, " Isn't that Ha--"

Janga covered his mouth, " Shh! You want her to know that it's us?!"

" Alrighty now," Haly pointed the spiked tip of her hammer at the thing, " If ya don't start runnin' right now, I'm gonna blast ya with a 9th level Meteor spell!"

" 9th level?! And she's only an apprentince?!" Impmon said in shock.

" She's bluffing, you dolt," Janga squeaked.

Large yellow eyes apeared on the thing and looked down at Haly. Then, it transformed into a giant wolf almost as tall as the buildings around it, with two rows of blue jagged spikes running side by along its back, and a long skinny tail ending in a spiked club. There was also a diamond shaped saphirre on its forehead, and the purple flames from before danced around its feet.

" W-Wait a sec!" Haly said in nervous shock, " Y-You're--!!"

The beast let out a long and powerful roar that shoke the entire Kingdom of Sorrow down to its very roots.

" R-RUN FOR IT!" Haly screamed while running past Janga and Impmon. Then they followed her while the beast ran after them.

" Go after them?" Maddy asked Match while Galomon jumped down and flopped after them, " I'm sure Haly has some powerfully spells. Mabye not as powerful as a 9th level, but still..."

" She seemed pretty spooked by... whatever that thing is," Match replied, " Eh, alright let's go after them."

Inside the castle, a young boy yawned as he walked towards a window. His red eyes glazed out at his kingdom as he asked himself, " Gee, I wonder what that roar was," Then he noticed the monster running around his city, " What in the name of Claire Moa?! The Shadow Beast is loose?!" He ran off towards one corner of his room, open a door, and ran down the stairs within.

Haly, Impmon and Janga were now standing on the egde of a cliff overlooking the shallow water in which the cruise ship had landed in. Haly still had her hammer pointed at the beast, which was now closing in on its trapped prey, one slow step at a time.

" Buildings to the left, more building to the right," Impmon said, " Some giant puddle and a cruise ship behind us, and one hell of a Heartless right in from of us!"

" How can YOU tell that it's a Heartless?!" Janga squeaked, " It doesn't even have that embelm that all Heartless have!!"

" Technically, Heartless that have no embelms are know as Pureblood Heartless," Haly corrected keeping her eyes on the approaching beast, " Those with embelm are known as, well, Embelms. They say that those kinds were 'artificially' made."

" HA! So there!" Impmon gave Janga the rassberries.

" Hey, just 'cause this... thing looks like a Heartless, doesn't mean it really IS one."

Suddenly, Galomon flopped beside the beast, and Maddy ran past him, and stopped in front of the beast. She held up the Star Pendant and said loudly, " Stop! Do you know what this is?! This is the Star Pendant! I could easily blast you with this, you know!!"

The beast looked down at the Star Pendant and took a few steps back. Match ran past it and stood besides Maddy, panting.

" That's right, you better be scared!" Maddy said, " Leave now, or else!"

The beast took a few more steps back, still staring down at the Star Pendant. Galomon finally managed to flop up to Maddy. Suddenly, the beast growled, then faded away into a black mist which disappeared soon afterwards.

" Well, that was easy," Haly said while lowering her hammer. She turned around and looked at Impmon and Janga, " So, are ya guys from... da... cruise... too...? Wait a sec," She sniffed the air, " Hey, no offence, but ya two kinda smell familiar..."

" What? Us? Oh no! We've never met before, honest!" Janga replied quickly while covering Impmon's mouth before the Digimon could reply as well, " We ARE on the same cruise, though, of course."

" Okay, if ya say so..."

Galomon was panting at Maddy's feet," Gah, can I be carried from now on?"

" Sure, no problem," Maddy said as she put away the Star Pendant and picked up Galomon.

" Heeey," Impmon said in a smooth voice as he ran over to Maddy, " Mind giving me a ride too baby?" Then he winked at her.

Maddy gave him a cold glare that made him jump back. She replied, " You. Perverted midget. Run. Cruise. Now."

" But--"

" NOW, GOD DAMMIT!"

Impmon fleed for his life, while Janga walked calmly past Maddy, muttering, " That idiot probably think that all women will fall for cute faces."

" He's wrong," Maddy replied through gritted teeth.

" I know, but he probably won't listen."

" Huh, I coulda sworn I saw 'em before," Haly whispered.

" Nevermind that!" Match said, " Now that the wolf thing is gone, let's move on to Kos' castle."

~CHAPTER 31~

" Hold on a minute!" Haly cried out as Maddy and Match were walking towards the castle. They looked back at her.

Match asked, " What is it?"

Haly glared at him, " 'Wolf thing'? Ya think that wus JUST a wolf thing?! Oh, come on!! Don't ya two realize what dat thing wus?!"

" Well," Maddy replied, " since we're not from the DREAM WORLD, why don't you tell us?"

Haly palmed herself on the forehead, " Oh yeah, ya ain't from da Dream World..." Then she walked past them and towards the castle. Match and Maddy followed, " Well, I guess I'll just havta tell ya on our way ta da castle."

" Well? What was it?" WackoMan asked.

" Ta put it simple dat lil 'wolf thing' is da Shadow Beast. It's not ta be taken lightly. Some says itssa Heartless, other says it's suppose ta be..... um... wait, I forget dat rumor."

" What? That's it?" Maddy asked, " How'd it get here in the first place?"

Haly shrugged, " I dunno. Ya know, I've always read stories and seen pictures ov da Shadow Beast, but no one's seen it since... Well, I'm not exactly sure when wus da last time it wus loose. Kos probably knows, though."

" I guess that's one reason why we should get to the castle faster," Match said.

Suddenly they heard someone up ahead, shouting between gasps, " Gah! Where'd that Shadow Beast go?! I need to get out more..."

" Kos!" Haly cried out in joy and ran towards the source of the voice. Match and Maddy followed, and they ended up in front of the castle at the bottom of a staircase that spiraled around the castle. There, trying to catch his breath after running down the stairs, was the King of Sorrow. He was about Haly's height, and he was probably a race that was similar to hers. He had long, floppy ears that seemed slightly wing-like, were white on the underside and bluish-green on top. Kos' fur was mostly bluish green except for the white parts on the lower half of his face, ( Like Haly) the plams of his hands, the soles of his shoes, and from the waist up, making it look like he wore a sleaveless shirt. There were red braclets on his wrists and ankles, a golden collar around his neck with two scarves hanging down from it, and his shoes were the same color as his fur. The king stopped panting and looked up at Match and Maddy with his red eyes, which had smaller-than-normal pupils.

Haly K's Comment: Again, the King of Sorrow is from the Klonoa game series, and therefore copyright of Namco.

" The Diva," Kos whispered to himself.

" Ya know I'm here, right?" Haly asked.

Kos turned back to Haly and smiled, " Sorry, I'm just gald that the diamond managed to get you all here..."

" So, this is the King of Sorrow?" Match asked.

" Yup! Dis is da King ov Sorrow, but ya all can call him Kos," Haly replied.

Kos walked up to Maddy, " So, you're the new Diva?"

" Um, yes..." Maddy replied.

" Hm, kind of ovbious. Unusual natural hair colors are found in Divas of the Star Pendant, erm," He pointed at Maddy's hair, " Pink IS your natural hair color, right?"

Maddy nodded, " Yes it is."

Haly K's Comment: I mentioned that back in 'The Star Pendant' right? Eh, when I go back to edit it, I'll make sure to put it in. Yes, I am planning on editting the pathetic excuse of a fan fic know as 'The Star Pendant'. -_-;

" Oh Kos!" Haly said, " I forgot ta tell ya, the Sha--"

" I know. The Shadow Beast is loose," Kos quickly replied.

" Are we gonna go after it?" Haly asked.

Kos paused, then shook his head, " No, it may be a creature of darkness, but it's actually quite tame in the right hands."

Haly looked confused, " Really? Are ya sure?"

Kos nodded, " Yes. Once the Diva--"

" Just call me Maddy, please," Maddy said.

" Okay, once Maddy unlocks the seals, and my kingdom returns to the Dream World, I'll hand over the Shadow Beast to the King of Darkness."

Haly walked up to Kos and whispered, " Are ya sure it's safe ta hand it over ta Xehanort?"

Kos whispered back, " Don't worry. He wasn't chosen to be the king without making sure he'd listen to the King of Light and the Heroes," Kos turned back to Maddy and looked at Galomon in her arms, " So, Kopomon, you've apparently Digivovled. What level are you now?"

Everyone stared at Galomon now. He laughed nervous before replying with, " I'm a Rookie level now, and my name is now Galomon."

" I promise not to be angry at you for not telling me that you knew the King of Sorrow if you explain right now," Maddy said.

Kos rubbed the back of his head and smiled, " I'll explain for him. You see, before Ghadius sealed away my kingdom, I threw Galomon's Digi Egg into the ocean, since my kingdom was in the Sea of Tears of Lunatea."

" Sooo, evetually, Galomon's egg hatches and he ends up near Yoshi Island?" Maddy asked.

" Yeah, pretty much," Galomon mumbled.

" And I've kept in touch with him telepathly. Through him I was able to contact you," Kos finished.

" Oh, so he's your Digimon, right?" Maddy asked.

" Yeah, but..." Kos looked down at the ground and spoke in a sorrowful tone, " ... he tried to defend me from the Masters, thus ending up as a Digi Egg."

" Aw, c'mon!!" Galomon said in a complaining tone, " I'm back now aren't I?!"

Kos lifted his head and smiled, " Yeah, sorry about that," He turned towards the staircase he had just come down, " Now, follow me to the seals so the cruise can get going sooner."

" Why? Why me?!" Impmon moaned as he spoke to himself, " Even when I'm a cute Rookie she won't fall for me!! WHY?!"

" Well, the ovbious pervert factor makes the answer quite clear," Janga replied while walking ahead. The cruise was right ahead.

" But... Girls aways, AWAYS fall for cute faces! How could she be won over by that... that... Scottish halfing freak of nature?!?"

" Another ovbious factor: He saved the Diva's life from YOU, so that also brings up another answer to your previous question. By the by, 'girls aways fall for cute faces'? That's an interesting piece of your philosophy on females."

" Oh, SHUT UP!" Impmon yelled, " It's not like YOU'VE had a girlfriend before!!"

Janga turned back to look Impmon straight in the eye, " You're saying that like you've actually HAD a girlfriend before..."

Impmon looked down at the ground and mumbled, " Yeah, her name was Lily, but that's not important..."

Janga smirked, " What? Did she dump you after she found out you joined up with the Masters?"

" SHUT UP!!" Impmon yelled again as he knocked Janga aside and ran for the cruise.

Janga looked down at his shoulder where Impmon had pushed him. There was a small burn mark there, " Look's like he's angry."

Someone, or something looked down at Janga and Impmon from the roof of a nearby building. Its forked tounge slid out between its lips, then slid back in. It hissed, " So, those two are ol' Janga and Beelzemon. I wonder if they can give any info on how the Masters are doing in the Dream World. But first," It turned its head towards the King of Sorrow's castle, " I'll see how ol' Sorrow is doing," It smirked, " Gotta make sure that the little punk doesn't lead the Diva to the seals. Wouldn't want Master Ansem gettin' angry at his top general."

" Gah, why is the staircase so... big?!" Maddy gasped as she sat down on a couch. The group had stopped to rest inside a guest room in the castle.

" I'm not sure," Kos answered, " I'm not the one who built it, nor did I make the plans for it."

" Wow, this place is bigger than I remember!" Haly said as she looked around the room.

" This is going to take longer than we thought," Match said.

" Well ovbiously," Maddy replied while rolling her eyes, " How much more do we have? One or two more miles of staircase?! Why didn't anyone think to install an elevator in this place!?!"

" I don't think those were invented back then," Kos replied, " Say, is anyone hungry?" Everyone nodded. Kos snapped his fingers and several red creatures appeared. They looked like rabbits crossed with Kirby, since they were about Kirby's height, were round, had blue paws and round yellow feet. They had long rabbit ears that were tipped with yellow and their face was aslo yellow, with large blue eyes.

" Hey, aren't these those red things we saw earlier?" Maddy asked.

" Yes," Kos answered, " They're called Moos. Alright now," All the Moos lined up next to each other in front of their king, " Please get my guests something to eat," Then the Moos left. Shortly afterwards, they arrived with plates of sandwiches, fruits, cups of water, and some ice cream.

" Wow, that was fast," Match said.

" They're so cute! Thank you," Maddy said as a Moo handed her a sandwich and an apple.

The something that watched Impmon and Janga earlier was now at the foot of the staircase of the castle. It was tall and lizard-like with black scales, two horns coming out of its head, and a long tail ending in spikes. It wore a dark brown, tattered vest and shorts, and a scimitar on its back. Its yellow eyes gazed up at the castle as it said, " Dang, I'm gonna havta climb if I'm wanna get there faster, and I do," It walked over to the wall of the castle, dug one of its claws into it, and started climbing.

After about a half hour of climbing it stopped and looked into one of the windows. It saw Maddy and the others inside, finishing up their meal. It smirked as it said, " Ah, taking a break, are we? I might beat them to the seals," Then it continued climbing.

After they finished eating, they continued climbing up the staircase, but this time the Moos were following them. Maddy said aloud, " You know, this 'castle' is starting to look more like a tower with a reeaally long staircase going around it, and a couple of rooms on the side."

" That IS pretty much what it is," Kos replied, " Anyways, we're almost there."

" Almost where?" Maddy asked.

" The top ov da castle, ov course," Haly replied. Suddenly she stopped and sniffed the air, " Neh?"

Everyone else stopped. Kos asked, " You smell someone nearby?"

" Yeah, wait a sec," She sniffed again, and she covered her nose in disgust, " Bleah! It smells like one ov those Lizalfoses from Hyrule. Can't they bathe for once?!"

Kos asked in shock, " Are you sure?! After the Masters had attacked, all of their troops retreated before Ghadius casted his spell..."

Haly sniffed again, despite the smell begin so horrible, " Urg, it kinda smells like 'em, but somethin's different for some reason..."

" Great, we're in for a fight then," Match said as he looked up at the top of the castle. It was pointed at the top like a tower, and a long yellow banner hung from a pole at the very top.

" C'mon, let's go! Da sooner we get rid ov whoever's there, da sooner I can stop smelling his scent!," Haly rushed past them while holding her nose.

" Wow, it must be a pretty strong scent," Maddy said and she ran after Haly.

Haly ran into the topmost room in the castle, which was wide, had two large windows on the left and right, and had no furniture inside. On the far wall, there was a giant boulder with 13 keyholes carved into it. 4 of them were sealed, while the others had wisps of dark mist coming out of them. Haly got out her hammer and said, " Okay Lizalfos guy! I can smell ya, so I know ya're here somewhere!"

Maddy and the others finally managed to catch up to Haly as the lizard man smashed through the window on Haly's left side and skitted across the room, thus scratching the tile, till it was in front of the boulder. It got out the scimitar that was on its back and held it in front of itself. It hissed, " Ah, you're a Kalonian. You have quite the sense of smell there."

Haly glared at the lizard man, " Alright! Who, gah," She covered her nose and continued, " or what are ya?! Bleh, you stink so badly right now."

The lizard man smirked, " I am Mordecai of Termina, one of the top generals of Master Ansem. I happen to be a special breed of Dragolfos."

" What, a kind that smells worse than normal?!" Haly shot back.

" My, you must have a very sharp sense of smell. No matter," He point his weapon at Maddy, " I believe she's the Diva, correct? Hand her over and I might go easy on you. Master Ansem will reward me greatly for her capture."

" Master Ansem?? Sorry, but all the Masters have been defeated," Maddy replied and stuck her tounge out at Mordecai.

" Yeah! 'Sides, how'd YOU get here?!" Haly pointed her hammer at the general.

Mordecai glared at Maddy, then at Haly, " I was left behind to make certain that the little 'king' over there didn't try anything to get loose, but apparently," He turned his glare at Kos, " He's making bargains with an ex-member of Organization XIII."

" An ex-member of the Organization...?" Haly asked.

Maddy's eyes went wide, " Wait, Organization XIII is a group of Nobodies in Kingdom Hearts 2 so..." She turned to Kos.

The king looked down, " Yes, a Nobody. She said she's contacted you before, and she said to tell you that she needs your help. She's in the same situation as me; locked away in the Void Between the Worlds..."

" Enough talk about you sealed traitors!" Mordecai roared, " Hand over the Diva now!"

" Didn't ya hear her?! The Masters are already defeated! Gone! Kaput!" Haly replied.

" So? Who says I can't use her powers myself?" The Dragolfos said.

" Fine then! I'll take ya on myself!" Halu replied again.

" Wait," Match said, " are you sure about that?"

" Ov course I am!" Haly replied, " Maddy got to fight Joka, you fought Dvalinn, and even Galomon got in a couple of hits on Lava Piranha! I'm pretty much the only one left who didn't get to fight!"

" But aparently," Mordecai stated with a smirk, " my 'stench' seems to hold you back a bit."

" No prob!" Haly pointed her hammer above Mordecai, and said, " Rain spell!" A small could appeared and dreched Mordecai. He shook himself and glared at Haly.

Haly breathed in deeply through her nose, then let it out as she said, " There! The smell's much better now."

" Hm! Now, let's see you actually try to fight," Mordecai replied in a irritated tone as he readied his scimitar.

Another chapter, woo! Note that, starting this Saturday, I will be gone for about a week due to vacationing in New York. So, no new chapter for a while after this. -_-;

~CHAPTER 32~

Maddy and the others stood close to the doorway of the room to watch as Mordecai charged at Haly, who managed to jump over him and thwack him with her hammer, knocking him to the ground. The Dragolfos glared at Haly, and threw his scimitar at her like a boomerang. She knock it back at him with her hammer. Mordecai dodged it by rolling out of the way. He got up and pulled his weapon out of the tiled ground. He hissed, " Well, you're pretty good."

Haly held her hammer and swung it a couple of times, " What? Were ya expectin' meh ta take it easy on ya?"

Maddy looked over at the keyholes on the boulder and asked, " Okay, there are four keyholes that are closed. Are those the 'seals' that Klonoa and the other Heroes already 'broke'?"

Kos replied, " Yeah, I guess."

" Then why are they keyholes that need to be sealed here, when they're actually seals that need to be broken?!"

Kos shrugged, " I'm not sure."

" Think we can get around the two fighters to the keyholes?" Match asked.

" Maybe we should wait until Haly beats him," Maddy replied.

Mordecai shot from his mouth three fireballs, which Haly dodged by jumping to the side. She aimed her hammer at the general and yelled, " Vine spell!" Several vines shoot out of her hammer and wrapped around Mordecai who broke through all of them with his free claw.

" I could have easily burned through those," Mordecai stated. Then he shot more fireballs at Haly, who then used a Water spell to put them all out.

" Wow, Haly's better than I thought!" Galomon comment. Then Haly blasted the Digimon with her Water spell as well.

" Give up! I have a spell to counter every attack of yours!" Haly said as she pointed her hammer at Mordecai.

Mordecai replied, " So? You still don't know all of my attacks," Then his scimitar glowed and caught fire. He charged again at Haly and tried to slash her, but before he reached her, she suddenly disappeared. He skidded to a stop ( Which cause the claws on his feet to scratch the floor again.) and looked around, " Where are you?!"

" And YOU'RE suppose ta be one ov Ansem's top generals?! Pa-the-tic!" Squeaked a small voice behind Mordecai. He turned around but saw no one, so he looked over his shoulder to see a tiny Haly hanging onto one of the spikes on his tail.

"..... A level 4 Minimazing spell. Clever," Mordecai noted, then he slashed at Haly with his claw, but she managed to jump down, making him scratch his own tail. He howled in pain.

Haly ran a couple of feet away from Mordecai, then returned to normal size. She point her hammer at the ceiling and cried, " Lighting spell!!" and then point her hammer at Mordecai. A small black cloud appeared above the general, and shot a bolt of lighting down on him. Mordecai collasped onto the ground as the cloud disappeared.

Maddy stuttered while wide eyed, " I-Is... h-h-he...?"

" What? Oh, he ain't dead," Haly explained, " That Lighting spell wusn't that strong, so it only knocked him out."

" Great generals do not exactly have great strength," Kos commented, " but rather great endurance."

" Haly won, Mordy lost, woopie woopie, yatta yatta yatta," Galomon said. He flopped over to the keyholes and continued, " Let's just seal these keyholes!... Or... break the seals? Wow, this is screwed up, I swear..."

Haly thwacked Galomon, " I went through da whole battle, and ya don't even give meh a proper congradulation?!?!"

" AH!! Mercy mercy!!" Galomon flopped away from Haly as fast as he could.

" I'll show ya mercy! I've had enough of ya!! PUNISHMENT TIIIIME!!!" Haly chased Galomon around the room, swinging her hammer as she did.

" Um, yeah. Maddy, just seal the keyholes... break the seals... do whatever the hell is suppose to be done to these things," Match said as he gestured to the keyholes.

" Okay," Maddy replied. She walked towards the keyholes and stop a few feet from them. She then took out the Star Pendant, and it transformed into a large green Keyblade with two yellow banners hanging from it.

" Maddy..."

Maddy turn to Match, " Yes Kenichi-kun?"

"..... A Keyblade? What the hell?"

" What? They're KEYholes, aren't they?! KEYholes, KEYblade, get it?"

" Just... just get it over with."

' You have no sense of humor whatso ever,' Ryu commented as he chuckled aloud.

' How is that humorous?! It's stupid and a bad pun in one!!' Match shot back.

' It's still funny!'

Maddy held up the Keyblade and aimed its tip at the keyholes. It glowed, and a beam of light shot out from it, and split into several beams that entered the Keyholes that were still open. All of them were now sealed. The Keyblade turned back into the Star Pendant, and Maddy put it away.

" Hey, what happens now?" WackoMan asked.

Kos was about to reply when the castle, and the rest of Hyuponia, shook violently. The light outside vanished for a second, then regular sunlight filtered in through the windows.

" Uh, did the castle go somewhere else?" Maddy asked as she looked out the window. Surrounding Hyuponia was now an ocean, with a large strip of green land ahead, and a pale cloudless sky above. Maddy pointed at the land and said, " Let me guess, that's Lunatea over there."

Haly stopped thwacking Galomon and looked out the window, " Yup, that's Lunatea. Look ovar there on da left. See dat ferris wheel? That's in da amusment park in Joilant, da Kingdom ov Joy. Hyuponia's back in Lunatea!"

Match also looked out the window. Down in a small harbor was the cruise, and it seemed that the passengers were going aboard now. He said, " Look's like they starting to leave..."

" How can they leave? There's no portal around here that leads to Kashabuku City, right?" Maddy asked.

Kos looked out the window at the cruise, " Actually, before you got here, I created a temporary portal that leads to the Digital Sea near that city. I haven't opened it yet, though."

" Well, that leaves you plenty of time for explaining," Maddy said as she turned to face Kos.

Kos smiled, " Oh yeah. The ex-member of Organization XIII, right?"

" Start when you're ready," Maddy smiled back.

" Ahem, well, this 'member' left the Organization of her own will since she said she 'has knowledge of things that the other Organization members could never understand the importance of'."

" And what sort of 'knowledge' does she have?" Match asked.

" Like the identities of the current Guardians and the locations of the Weapons of the Elements--"

" Wait wait wait," Haly interrupted, " She DOES?!?" Kos nodded and Haly continued, " She knows... No one has known since... since da Guardians were still in da Dream World."

" No offence, " TorchMan said, " but I don't really see what the big deal is."

Kos continued, " Well, it wasn't exactly a big deal at all after the Guardians disappeared either. People thought that if they were hiding, then it should stay that way. Of course, they aren't exactly... 'helpful' to most villains these days. When you think about it, villains are more concetrated on getting the Divas than the Guardians."

" Not 'helpful'. Bleh," Match said, " It's still a big deal that she knows, right?"

" Of course!" Kos replied, " After all, no one has been able to find out where the Guardian hid, and they fleed into the Human World some time ago."

" Can we get a estimate of how long?" WackoMan asked.

" Oh, I'd say... about 17 centuries or so."

" That's the weird part," Kos continued again, " She said she 'gained her knowledge when she became a Nobody'."

" Annnd..... She doesn't know how it happened?" Maddy asked.

" No. Not at all."

" So, she knows about da Guardians, and she wus sealed away fer some reason," Haly stated.

" She was sealed away by the rest of Organization XIII," Kos replied.

" And she wants Maddy's help in gettin' free?"

" Yes, but....."

Maddy asked, " But what?"

Kos looked away, " I'm not sure how she's going to get you into the Void Between the Worlds. In order to release a prisoner of the Void, you would need to break the seals on the prison from either one of the Worlds or in the prison itself. The ex-member says that the seals of her prison only exist in the Void."

" Well, you got us here with the Diamond of Sorrow, right? She's probably got something like that ready for us," Maddy replied.

Match looked at Kos, " You keep refering to her as 'ex-member'. Don't you know her name?"

" Um... she never quite gave her name," Kos lied.

" Whatever her name is, I'll be more than happy to help her!" Maddy said happily, " Now, let's get down to the cruise so Kos can open up the portal to Kashabuku City!"

" KASHABUKU CITEH!!" Galomon cheered. Then he hopped around Kos, " Oh please master! Can I go with them? I wanna see if I can Digivovle into my Champion level again!! Please please please??!!"

Kos laughed and said, " Of course you can."

" YAAAY!!" Galomon cheered, then flopped down the stairs. Maddy and the others followed him.

Kos sighed, " Ah, I'm gald that's over with," He looked out the window again at him kingdom, " Leorina and Tat will have to help me rebuild the kingdom again," Then he turned to Mordecai, who still lied on the floor uncoinsious, " And the Heroes will have to take the general into custody. At least now the sunlight has probably driven the Shadow Beast back to its cave. Hopefully King Xehanort will be able to handle him from now on."

" Come come Kos, the Great King of Sorrow!" Hissed a voice behind Kos, " Do you really think I'll let that happen? I have... ahh, 'plans', so to speak, for the grand Shadow Beast. He'll ad me dearly in my spread of fear."

Kos turned around quickly, but saw no one there. The voice cackled and continued, " What? Did you think you got rid of me so easily?"

Kos tried to say the name of the voice," S-s-so... S-s-s-sor--"

The voice interrupted the king by cackling again, " I think you might want to mention my... hmm, 'revival', we shall call it, to Klonoa and you other little friends," Then it cakled yet again, and faded away.

Haly K's Comment: Note that this voice has nothing to do with this fic exactly. He's part of another one I've been thinking about. ^_^;; Oh, and thus endth the Hyuponia mini arc! Yayness! XD

Haly K's Interview: Ok, you know how, last chapter, I said that the voice Kos heard has nothing to do with this fic? I'm recosidering now. >_>; Oh, and time for another Character Interview!

Lan: Ok! Who is it this time?

Haly K: ... Lan, you're not even IN this fan fic.

Lan: But...

Haly K: Leave.

Lan: But--!

Haly K: NOW!

Lan: Meanie! XP *leaves*

Haly K: Where was I?... Oh yeah! Today's interview is with... the king of Hyuponia himself, Kos!

*Kos is dragged in by his Moo helpers*

Kos: Why couldn't it have been Mordecai?!

Haly K: Mordecai's still out.

Mordecai: No I'm n-- *gets the hammer upon his head and goes beddy-bye*

Haly K: C'mon Kos! Okay, now our first question for our non-Klonoa readers.

Kos: 'Non-Klonoa'??

Haly K: In other words, not very familiar with the Klonoa series and its storylines, characters, etc. Anyways, why exactly were you a villian in the Klonoa series?

Kos: Ah, well, a long time ago before the Masters sealed me away, my kingdom and myself were sealed away. You see, as I said in Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, 'when people encounter sorrow, they try to forget it, and pretend it never exsisted at all.' They were afraid that, because sorrow is considered a 'negative emotion', I would use it against them.

Haly K: Wait, if you were sealed away a long time ago before the Masters did so, does that make you immortal or something? o_o;

Kos: Eh heh, well, I am sort of a physical manefistation of sorrow, and since sorrow is forever, I guess I am too. So if I die, I'd just be reborn, as seen by the Klonoa 2 ending.

Haly K: It makes sense... I think. >_>; So, basically, you try to get revenge on the world, which leads to you fighting Klonoa in Lunatea's Veil, right?

Kos: Yeah, pretty much. ^_^

Haly K: Well... that was... simple. I can't think of anymore questions for you, so I guess we're done. Next time, I'll let readers PM/e-mail me with questions and suggestions of which characters I should interview. But please, not too many!! Then again, I doubt I'll get any at all. :/

Kos: Shouldn't you leave your e-mail here right now?

Haly K: I'll... wait until the chapter before the ineterview...

Kos: ... Afraid of spambots and virus e-mails?

Haly K: Yes, yes I am. I'm just being careful, you know?! At least this interview wasn't as weird as the last one.

Match: I heard that!!

Haly K: Eeep! x.x

Haly walked off the stairway that led from inside the ship to the docks outside. She looked around at the other ships and buildings past the docks, which looked like they were from the ancient Japanese era. Haly looked back at Maddy and the others, who were coming down just now. She said, " Y'know, this place kinda looks like da scenes in one ov those samurai movie, neh?"

Maddy looked at the city, " Yeah, like that new amusment park they just open in DenTech, too."

Match looked confused, " What amusment park? Disney World?"

" No no no! That one a bit south of DenTech! I think it's called 'Yamato Land'."

" Oh, now I see..."

" Dummy."

Match pulled on Maddy's hair, " I heard that."

" OW!" She swatted his hand away, " Don't do that!!"

" Welcome Diva!" Three voices from somewhere nearby cheered.

" EEK! Help me, Kenichi-kun!!" Maddy hid behind her boyfriend.

"Oh, sorry about that!" A plant-like creature said. She had a red, tear-shaped petal that covered half her face and head like Beelzemon's mask and pinkish petals around her neck like a lion's mane. Her 'hands' were purple flowers, her feet were green roots, and she also had a lizard's tail. There were two more creatures that looked exactly like her behind. She spoke, " Are there still some villians out there who are after the Diva?"

Match replied, " Yeah, more or less."

One of the other creatures stepped forward and said, " Pardon us, Miss Iroaya! We are simply Floramon, the Flora Sisters to be exact, and we are your welcoming commity!"

Maddy stuck out her head from behind Match, " Welcoming commity?" She turned to Haly.

Haly raised her hands in defense and said, " Don't look at me! I only made reservations to these places!"

" Come now!" Said the third Floramon, " The lord of Kashabuku City insists that the Diva and Guardian enjoy their stay here to the fullest!"

Match stared at the Flora Sisters, " What? Now everyone knows I'm a Guardian?"

" King Volvagia said he overheard that you were coming here, so he contacted our lord ahead of time."

" That bloody ba-- Wait, who is your lord anyway?"

" Lord ShogunGekomon!"

" ..... After watching the Digimon anime, I'm wondering why I didn't expect that..."

" Anyways!" The first Floramon interupted, " Let us show you the way to the palace. Right this way!" She lead the way off the docks and into the city.

Haly K's Comment: Note that my description of Floramon many not be exact... When it comes to official characters, you might want to search for an official picture of them on Google or Wikipedia. Why is it so hard for me to describe them?! x_x;

Impmon and Janga were hiding behind a crate nearby as they watched the Diva and her friends leave. Janga said, " Well, no hope in getting the Diva as she sleeps. The palace has VERY tight security," Janga thwacked Impmon and screeched, " And don't say when can sneak into there like we did with the train!!"

" Ow ow ow!" Impmon rubbed his head, and replied, " I wasn't gonna say that! I mean, if she'd going to tour around the city, we can get her then!"

Janga thought about that, then nodded his head, " Huh, I can't help but wonder why you didn't think of a good plan like this until now."

" Um, maybe my brain turns on and off by itself?"

" ... Just shut up now."

At the center of the city was a tall palace in a similar design as the rest of the buildings. In front of it was a iron gate which was guarded by two samurai-looking Digimon. ( Musyamon) One of Flora Sisters, when she reach the gate before the others, said, " The Diva and her followers have arrived!"

Both Musyamon nodded and opened the gate. Maddy and her 'followers' passed through. Maddy smirked and said, " Hear that? You guys are my followers! Heh heh!"

" Don't make me pulled your hair again," Match threatened.

All of them were lead by the Floramon to a large, spacey room. The ceiling was very, very high up, but it was just enough for the room's inhabitant, Lord ShogunGekomon. He was a large, red frog with green leaves around his neck, two bandages that were over where his belly button was in the shape of an X, a tentecle with purple hairs on the end above his head, and two large tuba horns coming out of his back that hung above his shoulders. His voice boomed, " Welcome, Diva and Guardian, to Kashabuku City!"

" Eep," Was all that Maddy could get out.

Match replied, slightly nervous, " Um, hello?"

" Hiya!" Haly and Galomon said in unsion.

ShogunGekomon looked down at Match, " Yes yes! You're definently the Guardian of Fire! I can tell by the frizzy hair."

" My hair is NOT that friggin' frizzy!!" Match yelled.

" You might want to refrain from making comment on his hair, your, um, lordship?" Maddy stated.

" Ah, alright then," The lord of Kashabuku City replied, " Now, take our guests here to their rooms."

" Yes, Lord ShogunGekomon!" The Flora sisters bowed, and lead them out of the room.

" Ya know, you could've let them know I wus here!" A voice said. ShogunGekomon looked down at the Digimon that was next to him, whom was hiding while the lord's guest were there. He was about a child's height, had spikey orange hair that went down to his shoulders, and a fluffy orange tail like a fox's. He wore red gaunlets, anklets, and pants, and also wore two black belts, one of which had a buckle with the Digimon symbol of fire on it. He gazed up at ShogunGekoman with his emerald eyes.

The giant frog shuffled and replied, " Well, you could've come out of hiding and given the Guardian whatever it is that King Volvagia sent you to deliver."

The smaller Digimon crossed his arms over his chest, " Nyao, just cus you're the mon who runs this place don't mean you have to be so rude!!"

" I believe hiding is rude as well, Flamon."

" Bah!" Replied the rookie fire-type, " You think that being the King of Fire's right-hand mon would bring more respect to you."

ShogunGekomon chuckled and replied, " Expect the unexpected."

"... Great. I better get this done and over with before I start hearin' more Cardcaptor quotes!" Then Flamon disappeared in a small tornado of flames.

~CHAPTER 34~

Match stood near the door in his room as he looked down at the green, grass woven mat that was covering almost the entire floor. He looked at the closet door on his left, which was woven out of a more yellowish type of grass. On the right was his bed, and ahead was a glass sliding door which lead out to the wooden walk way and the garden that surrounded the palace.

' Yup, this is definetely one of those classic Japanese palaces,' Ryu commented.

' But the boring thing is, is that all the sleeping rooms are the same,' Match replied and sighed, ' And why are the walls white? That makes it more boring!'

' Same goes for your house, but you don't complain about that, do you?'

'... Fine, I take the comment about the white walls back.'

There was a knock on the door. Match opened it, but no one was there. He looked around the hallway outside, but still no one. He muttered, " Huh, don't tell me there's a prankster living here," as he closed the door.

" Hello there, Guardian Kenichi!" Said a voice from the ceiling. Match didn't turn around. The voice said in a irritated tone, " Hey didn't you hear meh?! Hello?! Hey!! HEY--" he stopped when a fireball appeared a few centimeters from his nose.

Match turned around and said, " Flamon, Rookie level of Agunimon, the Warrior of Fire."

The fireball disappeared, and Flamon landed on the floor, " Nyao, so you know your Digimon. Bleh." He stuck his tounge out at Match.

The Guardian closed his fist tightly as he glare at the Rookie Digimon, " So who are you working for? Beelzemon and Janga, Anemon and Zweegle, someone else entirely, or are you just a freelancer?"

Flamon held up his hands in defence, " Whoa whoa WHOA! I ain't workin' for none of 'em! I'm King Volvagia's right hand man, er, mon."

Match crossed his arms, " If so, what are you doing here laddie?"

" Y'see, the great 'King of Fire' wus suppose to give to a certain somethin', but apparently he forgot," The fire-type rolled his eyes, " You'd think that havin' the title of both 'The King of Fire' and 'Fire Temple Boss: Subterranean Lava Dragon' would make you think that he's more responsible or somethin' of the like... Yeah right."

" So, what is this 'certain something'?"

" First off, did your tourguide Hari--"

" Her name's Haly."

" Whatever! Did she ever mention anything about any 'weapons' or 'jewels' of the ten elements?"

Match though for a second, then replied, " You know... she and a friend of hers did mention some 'Weapons of the Elements'."

" And someone who knows where they are," TorchMan added.

Flamon was in complete shock; his face showed it. He stepped back until he hit the glass door behind him, and slowly slide down into a sitting position. Match asked quickly, " Hey, are you alright?!"

" Someone..... knowing..... the weapons," Flamon muttered for a few seconds, then he shook his head and sprang up, " I... I'll pretend you were joking about that."

" Look laddie, it's the truth!"

" Sssssh ssh ssh SSH!" Flamon hissed with one finger over his mouth, " If you can find that 'person' again, force out of him or her the location of the weapon for your element, the Sword of Fire."

" Hey now, why only my element?"

" First off, you can only use the Sacred Weapon that is the same element as you. The ones for the other Guardians would be useless in you hands. Second, there's really no point in getting the other weapons if you don't even know where the other Guardians are. Say... you don't already have the sword, do you?"

Match shook his head, " No, otherwise I would've said so when you asked to get the location of the sword from the... 'person."

" Weeeird, I thought the Sacred Weapons were passed on through the generations..."

" Then again, you haven't told me what it looks like. Lemme guess, it'e red, right?"

" Yeah, according to a book King Volvagia has, its blade is a pale red, but not exactly pinkish and its handle is blood red with a socket where the blade and handle meet."

" Don't have it, but what is its socket for?"

" For putting this," Flamon took out a small oval ruby and tossed it to Match, " into it."

Match caught the ruby, and looked it over, " I presume this is the 'certain something', right?"

The Rookie Digimon nodded, and continued, " That's the Ruby of Fire. There's one jewel for each element, and they're held by the Kings and Queens of the Elements. You might not find the sword, but it's still best that you hold onto that," Then he smirked and said, " See ya!" as he disappeared in a small tornado of flames which left small scorch marks on the mat.

Match sighed as he pocketed the jewel, " Jewels of the Elements, Kings and Queens of the Elements, Weapons of the Elements..... Elements, elements, elements! Yeesh."

TorchMan said, " On the bright side, at least you aren't hunted down like a wild animal like Maddy for being so special."

" I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad point."

Impmon gazed ahead at the palace. He turned to Janga and asked, " That's it, right? I don't see any other buildings that're bigger."

" Yeah, yeah, that's it," Janga replied. He noticed the two guards at the front, " There's probably more guards inside."

" Now what? Since they ain't gonna let us in, we should find a hotel around here, right?"

Janga then noticed the sun starting to set behind the palace, " Yeah, I'm just hoping there's a hotel that actually has a spare room around here."

" You... uh... didn't make resevations in advance?"

" To tell the truth, yeah, I forgot."

Impmon sweatdropped, " Oi, I can't help but think that that's a bad sign..."

Anemon and Zweegle were walking through the city back on Yoshi Island. Zweegle sighed and said, " Waiting until tomorrow afternoon for the next cruissse... Man, thisss sssucksss."

" Shut up, we do as we're told," Anemon replied harsely.

" Wouldn't be sssurprised if Beelzemon and Janga would try and get at the Diva again."

" They won't suceed. She has a Digimon that's both a water and a thunder-type, an apprentice magician, and a Guardian protecting her. Not to metion she could just use the Star Pendant herself."

" And ssshe wasss hard enough to catch without Galomon..."

" You got knocked out by a girl. A Kalonian girl who's the cousin of someone else who beat you to the ground in 37 straight matches."

" ..... Hey, at leassst I tried my bessst againssst Klonoa, right?"

" Still a weakling," With that, Anemon walked on ahead.

" Eeee! This bed is so soft!" Maddy sqealed and she hopped onto her bed. She moved onto her back and looked up at the ceiling, " Ah, being a Diva has its downs, but it has ups too!"

" Bleh, humans get beds, and all we Navis get is a cramped PET!" WackoMan whined.

Maddy replied, " I bet it's not that cramped, and besides, you can always come out of there."

" ... Okay, it's not that cramped in here..."

" Ha! See?"

Someone knocked on the door, " Pardon, Diva," said one of the Flora Sisters from before, " I believe you wanted to ask me something?"

" Oh yeah! Come on in," replied the Diva as she sat up on her bed.

The Floramon opened the door and walked in, " So, was is it you needed?"

Maddy looked up at the ceiling again, then whispered something to the Digimon. She said aloud, " You have something like that, right?"

Floramon smiled and replied happily, " Sure! We have an especially good brand, garanteed to work!"

" Thank you," Maddy said, and Floramon then left the room.

" Huh? Wait, what did you ask her for?" WackoMan asked.

Maddy smirked, " It's-a-se-cret!"

" What kind of secret...?"

" One that I can't tell to anyone, including you."

WackoMan pouted and crossed his arms, " Aw, that's just mean..."
