I'm not dead! >_>

So, a long time ago there was this fanfic called Harsh Reality. And lo, people thought it was cool, and the author was on a role. Then the ending of AXESS hit and basically used the same cool idea that was used in the fic. And so said author hit writer's block. Hard. For over a year.

Yeah. It sucked. And you guys have either never heard of it or me, or have long given up hope. ^^; However, the next chapter is up, another one is on its way, and I have a couple of one-shots to fill in the gaps in between. I'm back and here to stay. ^_^

Oh my. Good to see you again!

What can I say about the fic? It's both creepy and thrilling to read at the same time. The first chapter leaves off at a cliffhanger, but that is steadily getting explained through the following chapters. Very nice.

I look forward to seeing the rest.

I must admit, you are the last author of the "classical era" of fiction whose works I have to read. Though I admit I have never read any of your works with my own two eyes, the "word on the street" is that you were a writer of almost legendary stature. And now I am convinced.

From the start, I was immediately drawn into the work. Even though it takes place in a time that is long past, anime-wise, you still do an excellent job of characterizing the scene. Your characterization is top-notch, and remains quite true to the canonic anime universe.

What struck me the most, perhaps, was the fact that you opted to focus on the Dimensional Area. I found that you did a fantastic job of practially analyzing the ramifications of something the anime world takes for granted, and how at its birth, the technology had many applications, in both the good and the bad. How a technology, originally intended to aid the relations between navis and humans, was quite prone to being used for all of the wrong reasons. It seems that this concept parallels things in the real world at this time.

My only gripe with this fic as of yet is that you seem to be trying to tell the tale of three different sets of characters, and they end somewhat abruptly. Though this isn't a bad thing, it is a bit confusing for the reader to keep track of the stories as they unfold.

Nevertheless, I am very impressed. You live up to your reputation that fellow readers and writers have told me about, and I dearly look forward to your next installment. Excellent job.
