|

The Japanese magazine Famitsu recently reported that Sega is currently developing an action game in which you fly a clown-like magician through the air for the Revolution. Does this mean what I think it means? If so, NiGHTS fans can start getting excited. Anybody else hear about this report? |

No, I haven't heard this... but many people wanted this. If this is true, and if it is a remake of the classic, I'd probably have to delay my getting a PS3 and opt out for a Revolution, since I've wanted to play this game ever since I was a kid.
Infact, I've done research on NiGHTS into Dreams for some time now. Apparently a good source of info about the game is www.nightsintodreams.com
A surprising amount of throught was actually put into this game... >.>;
Originally, Sega wanted to make a motion sensetive controller for this rare classic but couldn't make it work. People were speculating that it would be cool if it was going to be on the Revolution. We can't be sure yet until the rumor is proven. I hope it's true and turns out to be a remake with updated graphics and maybe a "Christmas NiGHTS" function... and not a sequel. _________________ http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=100000142872316

No... You've gotta be kidding! I admit, I've been wanting to play NiGHTs for a looong time, and a remake would be great, but on the Revolution?! Nay, I say! Its controller is enough to keep me away; I want a system that has a controller that makes gameplay easy, not harder than it might already be! >_<( This is my opinion, thou, not the opinion of others.) If they make it multi systemed ( Highly doubt it, thou.) then I'll get the PS3 version. _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

The rev is one of the best systems for this kind of game. And the're other ways to controll the games on the rev they say. Controller shells.
But of course I have they could have done this really well. And I'll finally be able to play nights! |

I think I may have just found something. A website called SPOnG.com just released an article that could be proof that the NiGHTS rumors are true. Here's the link: http://news.spong.com/article/9909?cb=341 |

Well well, being a SEGA fan myself, this is definitely a surprise. Flying with NiGHTs using that awesome controller of Revolution would be awesomest. _________________

Plus the good thing about this is that the rev will be cheap enough to where you can buy this after or possibly with something like the PS3. It's a great system to have with another. That way, you can have the "power" of the PS3 with the ideas of the rev. |

Oh, that would be cool! =D
The controller would add some new depth to its gameplay for sure. _________________ - Sage |

No. They just wanted to get it just right first. That's what they said. |

I first heard about this on NiD.com, and I'm really excited. I've loved the game since I first got it ten years ago (TEN YEARS?! I'm old... -_-.
If I remember correctly, Naka said originally that there was no point in remaking NiGHTS other than a graphics update. Recently he's been saying that if he ever made a sequel he wanted it to be "perfect."
Either way, if this turns out to be real, I'll definitely be buying a Revolution. NiGHTS is more than worth it. _________________ Life's too short to take seriously, so walk your path with a bright smile and a light heart.

I've never heard of this game before... What system was it on? Something Sega, obviously, but what kind of game is it? Everone seems so excited to hear it might come out on Wii. |
