I think I fixed the lack of italics problem.

Okay, I guess this is anime continuity; I think this meets your qualifications. The focus is on Yaito, but beware, this has some twisted hinted pairings alongside more normal ones.

Dilemmas

Yaito sighed inwardly as Blues quickly left after delivering the message from Enzan. Honestly, can he be any more obvious? She idly wondered if Enzan knew about his navi’s little “crush.”
Probably not, she thought wryly. Really, he was far too eager to deliver that email to Netto for me when I said Glyde was too busy. I just hope Rockman doesn’t flip when he finds out his best friend likes his brother a hell of a lot more than is normally deemed proper.
Yaito knew many things, especially about her friends. She had made it her personal mission to know everything about them, trying to anticipate anything she could do to help. That was why she knew what even Netto didn’t know about his faithful netnavi, & that Roll was cheating on Rockman with Gutsman while her operator did the same to Netto with Dekao. That was why she knew that Enzan really did like her, & that Saloma & Miyuki, like their navis, were more than friends. That was why she knew that Blues & Forte both liked Netto, & that Glyde thought Searchman was sexy. I want them to be happy; they’re the only true friends I’ve ever had. But I don’t know what to do!
At Yaito’s old school in England, she’d had no real friends. Sure, plenty of people wanted to hang out with her, but only because she was the heiress to Gabcom. None of them wanted to be with her. As a result, she’d thrown herself into her studies, skipping grades to get away from her peers, but her new classmates had been no better. Glyde had truly been a godsend; finally someone who cared about her! But Glyde would never be her equal, simply because he refused to act equal to his “master,” & nothing she said or did would change that.
Netto & Rockman are being played by their dearest friends, Enzan’s in denial, neither Forte not Blues will make a move, & Searchman’s still mooning over his operator, who finally started dating Princess Pride. Heh, go matchmaker Netto! Then there’s the whole Masa-san/Mariko-sensei/Higure-san triangle, which I can’t fix unless Masa-san admits to being Commander Beef. God I don’t want to be there when those guys find out that Sharkman & Numberman have been seeing each other in secret. Then there’s the not-so-little matter of Rockman—or should I say Saito—keeping his true nature from Netto; that’s got time bomb written all over it.
Then she’d come to Akihara Elementary, & had found people who liked her for her. She wasn’t the heiress to Gabcom with them, she was just Yaito, & she loved it. She knew she probably acted snobbish, but she knew of no other way to act. She just wanted to keep her friends happy.
Unfortunately, their lives had grown steadily more complicated. At least some of my friends are doing well in love. Miyuki & Saloma. Skullman & Woodman. Hinoken & Madoi. Shuuko & Tohru. Aquaman & Iceman. Tesla & Charlie. Yaito could only pray that her other friends could work things out, because she was starting to run out of ideas.

Uh, interesting... pairings galore. It was a decent one-shot, exploring Yaito's past fairly well. I enjoyed reading it, though I felt all the random pairings were a bit too much (I mean Skullman X Woodman? Puhleeze! If anything, he's going out with Metalman!)

...I'm kinda at a loss for words.

I enjoyed the fact that you explored Yaito's past in some depth, but it seems the true meanings behind the fic are shrouded by all of the wacky pairings that you have proposed in the body of the piece. I admit, while reading it, I was really somewhat off-kilter with some of the seemingly arbitrary pairings that you have proposed, and trying to keep them straight was a chore, and detracted from the fic as a whole.

Other than that, good job.
