Just a quick question. I've hear Saito is Lan's old brother who died and was revived as Megaman. Is this true?

P.S. Is that how he looks in my avatar?

Mind added, that is only factual game-wise. No hint of Rockman/Megaman being Lan/Netto's brother in the anime or the manga.

Btw, Hub is his dub name.

Although in the Manga, there is Saito/Hub Style where Rockman and Netto synch together into a new entity, but that's more of a reference to the name than the actual character.

EXE 1 really does explain a lot of the backstory, along with 2 and 3. EXE 4 & 5 explain their own respective plots, but don't add much to the overall series backstory. EXE 1, 2 & 3 are definate must plays in my book!

Although don't get confused if you read any fanfics dealing with Hub. A lot of authors (myself included) like to blend the Hub story into anime or manga canon. But yes, officially, Hub only existed in the games.

Speaking of, if you don't mind reading deep into the first game (and possibly some of the ending) GameFAQs (and probably some other sites, although only that one springs to mind right now) has a script for the game, which includes Dr. Hikari's big speech on the whole incident. I went ahead and fetched it in case you were interested; just Ctrl-F Lan's line "But I'll do anything if it might save MegaMan!" to jump right to it.

And for the record yes, your avatar is what he looks like.

Maybe not! At the end of the battle with Skullman.EXE (Miyuki's Navi), in the 3rd volume of Takamisaki's manga, Miyuki becomes pensieve and makes a reference to Rockman.EXE's HUMAN soul. I've read to volume 9 and no other reference is made.

Ah yes, I also remember Miyuki's comment and found that rather curious. I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of the manga following the game's model for the relationship between Megaman and Netto. But then again, they probably would've hinted at it by now.

And I love your avatar, shadow! Megaman EXE looks soooo cool without his helmet. I was starting to wonder if he was capable of taking it off XD

Yes, well, the Manga is infamous for making things disappear. What ever happened to Super Intendant Oda, <spoil>the man who's responsible for Netto getting his license,</spoil>? He wasn't in vol. 8 or 9.
