Strange Item in Pokemon Silver

I have been recently getting back to my Pokemon Silver to level up and possibly finish my PokeDEX.

I just checked my PACK and found an item called "?" with a description of "?."

It startled me at first, but it seems it's SELECTable, able to be GIVEn to Party Pokemon, and it sells for a very high price. $11,000-ish each.

I'm trying to find out, what is this item? And why is it in my file? Is it an item version of the G/S Missingno? Or something even more mysterious...

PS: I've also got some strange email in my Mail Box by someone named "GREEN," a lot of blanks, some called "MISSINGNO" and some by some glitchy blocks. What's going on?

that sounds really weird. my friend's games (for some reason or other) always seem to have glitches after he plays them for a while. have you checked any pokemon forum sites and gamefaqs?

This is where I step foward.

The item called "?" is a glitch item that normally appears when using codes (I had them in the balls pocket) and yes, they have a nifty price (always had max money by it). It can't be used but when you give it to a pokemon, the poke actually won't have anything holding.

Now about the "Green" and "Missingno."... I don't know how did it appear to you but there IS a G/S/C Missingno., but it's called "?????" so this is a different case. But if you provide pictures, I could see more details.

the MISSINGNO and GREEN is messages in my "Goku's PC" (My character is named Goku) MAIL BOX. Whenever I read my mail in their, I find a lot of messages from those names. If I can get my webcam working again, I'll show you the "?" and the strange mail.

This may sound whack, but this is what I think that these GREEN and MISSINGNOs are. Since those 2 names don't exist in G/S/C (unless a nickname that you used on a poke) it may be some data that was transfered from a R/B/Y game for a reason.

Aside from that, you're lucky to have the item "?" thats instant money. And if you still have the R/B/Y games, you can add a Charizard 'M and a Q to your collection.

The only cheat I ever used was the Clone Pokemon in a Box trick to give my friend a copy of my Ho-Oh for their Suicune. Other than that, I've been playing safely.

If it weren't 2:40AM here, I would've posted images of my GBASP's screen with these glitches I've been seeing.

I will post them real soon.

it seems to me that the fact that you used a cheat gives the impression that it is the root of your current problem despite the fact that you've used it only once. >_>

You don't need a cheat device to clone in G/S/C, besides pokemon games are known to be the most unstable game because they alway have the same problem. And if it weren't noon I would be sleeping now.

I'm probably going to tell them about this. Really soon. Since my game just froze and reset itself when I tried to read some more of those messages.

This is very strange... it's almost as strange as the actual Missingno mysteries.
