A down B combo would work just fine in my opinion. Als, ZERO Suit sounds like a penalty, if you blast too much, you lose the armor...stuff like that.

Oh jeez, how I hated not having the suit in that game.....
I think they might be 2 different characters all togther. The way Samus had her armor blown off in the trailer might've been just to show off the snazzy graphics.

It could simply be reffering to the method used to unlock the character. I'm not sure to be honest, Sakurai is being deliberately vague here. XD

Yeah, being from a more conventional fighting game, Ryu would be definately out of place.

I can't really think of too many more Mario characters they could add (I'm not in favor of putting in generic characters like koopa troopas) but Bowser Jr/Shadow Mario would be a great choice.

As for Zelda characters I'm hoping they add pig Ganon too since that's really the origional Ganon.

As for Wario, I'm just hoping origional Wario is avaliable as an alternate costume.

Zero Suit Samus isn't a seperate character according to what's said on the official Smash Bros. site.

Ooh! I just got a good idea for a character for the game.
Wanderer, from Shadow of the Colossus.
He'd be a good addition. He'd be like Link in some aspects, with the bow+arrow, and the Sword. But, perhaps he'd be faster? He has a smaller sword.
Also, Gordon Freeman would be hilarious to see. CROWBAR, FTW.

Well... A colossus stage would be interesting and I like Wander, but I can't really see him fitting in at all.

And I'm rather happy with the Wario Ware confirmation... WW was one of the top things I wanted to see in the game somehow that I didn't expect to have a huge chance. If they still do clones, a Classic Wario clone could be interesting too. He has his own moves to draw from in the Wario World games and that could turn out well

Ooh. Leon Kennedy. RE4 is porbably one of the more popular games for Nintendo, so it would be cool to seem him in there. Although, he and Snake are a bit...similar.
As for levels, I think a Metroid Fusion level would be cool. You know, like inside the Space Station? And it would have random attacks from the SA-X.
Bah, I'm just spewing random ideas now. XD

I'm really psyched that Ridley finally made the list. I've been rooting for him to be playable since the game was first announced (it also helps that most of the other characters I want are on there too). Also, score one for Ganon.

D'you know if that person provided a source? Cause... if that's valid, then I like it. Most of the characters I can see fitting in fairly well (Hammer Bros. is the only one I really have much trouble picturing) and it's a pretty diverse list.

I'd love seeing Katia in the game... There's all kinds of things they could potentially do for her moveset.

Well like I said, he gets the list and translates it from the suggestions Sakurai posts on the Japanese website. Anyone here that speaks good Japanese could easily go and verify it.
