Is that ichigo from bleach? That's cool. There weren't any characters from bleach in the first game was there?

Nah, Ichigo was in the first game. Dunno about the rest of the cast though... I think at least one or two others were, can't remember.

Light was too, but not as a playable character.

The only playable character from BLEACH was Ichigo.
Kuraki Lukia, Zangetsu, Shihouin Yoruichi, Abarai Renji, and Hitsugaya Toushirou were all support characters.

I hope more of Yuu Yuu Hakusho are playable this time around =)
More inter-series Bobobo combos would be nice, too ^_^
And maybe Seto Kaiba....
or a playable Sagara Sanosuke....
or a playable Saitou Hajime.....

I'm hoping that more series can be added. How can they add sports series and GO, while there are still many other fighting characters from other unchosen series...

P.S. One thing I forgot to mention earlier: rumor has it that this one supports WiFi.

Ok then, there we go. It's a good/fun idea so it doesn't really matter if it's just an upgrade of the first game or not. As long as it's good.
Besides, we play megaman games.

All those characters were in the first game. It focuses on you fighting other characters with a Koma deck and collecting Koma. Each Koma has their own special abilities and range from Help, Support, and Fighter. Like a PET customizer you are limited to how many Koma you can put in your Koma deck and which kinds. The first game was fairly easy. In order to do get koma you had to clear missions in each stage and there are lots of stages. Each stage has about one mission which is to either beat it, use certain move on a certain item box on the stage, or collecting fruit from boxes. Sometimes they are more complicated if you don't know Japanese like having a certain number of help koma, using support koma certain amount of times, connecting a certain amount of times with a move or Dream Combo, or Ringing out your opponent a certain number of times. You are also awarded Koma for collecting a certain number of koma in the game. These are usually 7-Block Koma and take up a lot of space. It's a very fun and addictive game, I beat story mode twice, and have a few Koma to collect. It's fun if you play the Japanese version with limited knowledge of Japanese. It's a real challenge and gives the game a certain appeal in my opinion.

Yeah. If that were the case, it wouldn't be called Jump Superstars 2, but Jump Superstars Deluxe/Jump Superstars Perfect/Jump Superstars: Final or something else along similar lines.

But the pic in the topic doesn't show a two in the title, it just says Jump SuperStars. Also, if you look at the DS it shows a deck that anyone could make in JSS. If the game were a brand new game shouldn't they advertise something new?

The only thing new in that advertisement is that it features the DS lite, with the same old background and the same old koma.

After looking at it it seems nothing more than a contest submission form. That's what it seems like, at least... >_>

Nah, it's a sequel. It doesn't say Jump Superstars 2 in the scan, but it's been translated and it does directly say that it's a sequel to Jump Superstars, and it's coming out this Fall.

The contest appears to be a submission form for characters you want to see in the game.
