This was a pretty funny episode. First we have Wily taking Chriol and Kurohige down into his basement...and he gets mad at Chirol for trying to open what I like to call "A can of Wily juice." It had Wily's face on it :3

Next we're greeted by none other than Dark Miyabi whom Chriol and Kurohige somehow know. And he gives Wily...Wine, and asks about his synchro chip.

Kurohige daydreams about crossfusing and kicking Netto's butt, and has his moustache pulled on. They pull a bunch of antics, in an attempt to get a Synchro Chip from Wily, but to no avail. And they get shot at by a missile :3

The next part I won't give away because it's pretty darn funny and it seems the source I get my episodes from is an expert at being early. But it'll increase at least HiKaizer's fandom of Diveman by tenfold :3

EXE6 SPOILER! [spoil:e1b976758e]No Tomahawk Cross though D:[/spoil:e1b976758e] But we do get some nice Beast Out.

I just have one question for you, ShoPro. What the heck is with the CrossFusion theme being used for the Beast Out Henshin?! It's all wrong! >_<

Alright, back to the show. Our misadventurers finally get their hands on a Synchro Chip each, and we...well, we say WTF. I'll wait 'til Saito Raws gets the episode to reveal it.

They were drinking Sake, not wine.

The Cross Fusion theme played through out the entire battle. Said battle also had some nice Circusman screencaps~.

The end was rather interesting. I wonder what happened to our loveable captain and the crazy clown lady....they can't be dead because the next episode they try to Cross Fuse everywhere.

Rather excited for the next episode now.

WTH happened to them at the end 0_o
Somehow i get the feeling that this is somehow similar to the Pulse system in exe3, in which the operators go into the net and fuse with their navis....
Perhaps their might be hope for Alpha after all.

Best part in the entire episode was Wily shooting a missile XD

What the hell kind of Synchro Chips are those?! O.O;
And how many episodes is this art director gonna do in a row? This makes the third. Sheeze...

First off, I must note, Kurohige's cackling reminds me of The Wicked Witch of the West. Oh, and Diveman needs to practice his drum solo. X_X

This episode seemed really... disjointed. It might just be me, because I didn't really understand the plot (other than Chirol and Kurohige collecting cans for synchro chips... or something) and why they had to try and blast Netto's eardrums out.

Oh well. Maybe once I find a subtitled version I can understand. Or maybe not.

Probably for one more episode, guessing by the summaries.

I don't mind though, I've liked the art quite a bit in the last three episodes. Same goes for the episodes in general, this is a really fun mini-arc so far and we haven't gotten weird stuff like it for quite a while.

I decided to be un-lazy and just look at Xebec's summaries (since they show the art directors). We're getting the last three episodes' art director (Yasuo Shimizu) for another episode, then we'll have Akira Takahashi (who did Beast+ 02) for two episodes, then Yasuo Shimizu for two more.

15 and 16 will bring in some art directors that haven't done anything for Beast+ yet. I'm unsure about 15's; I think it's Kato Hatsue, who did EXE 25, 53, and Axess 09 (but I'm waiting for an actual translation on that one)... but 16's is definitely Adachi Shingo, who last showed up to do Stream 08 and hasn't been around since (though s/he did work for the movie). I'm glad to see Shingo back; I like his/her work a lot.

I'm a little surprised that Taketani Kyoko, Beast+ 01's art director, hasn't done another episode yet. I guess s/he really HAS taken Ishihara Mitsuru's place (i.e. only doing a few episodes here and there, but doing a lot of the stock footage like plug-in sequences). Of course, the inconsistencies continue with the Mitsuru redraws; Dingo's plug-in animation in this week's episode was reused Mitsuru footage from Beast. I don't understand Shogakugan's logic...

Why is Dusk hagging out with Dr. Wily? I thought he was a loner mercernary?
Though, I haven't seen much Stream, so I don't know much of the anime version of him... Not a bad episode. Still Netto is not a very good Net Savior since "the bad guys" keep getting away. Shouldn't he try to arrest or at least chase after them.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Sake. Sake comes in another kind of bottle as far as I know.

Sake is wine. Rice wine.

You know, with this transition to 15 minute episodes, I find myself not checking Beast + out very often. I'll have to read about these episodes more often.

Wily's evil plan for this season: Start a band!

You'd better watch out as he has his drummer, de aru~

The last bit was fun:

Minispoiler: [spoil:e18cf3c653]Kurohige: Synchro Chip, slot-in! Diveman: De aru~[/spoil:e18cf3c653]

Does any spot an animation error? When Gregar Rockman Slash the lion that Circusman summon, it "LOGOUT"ed. How can something that is summon logout? It previous episode, it was just destroyed.

Hey, that actually is a pretty weird idea... doing Cross Fusion without a dimensional area... no one has ever done that, right? Oo Maybe they appeared in Beyondard or something... or on the net as Net Navis. Or maybe those Cross Fusion chips were a special kind that Wily made or something like that Oo I don't know...

I also don't understand the reason why they had to annoy Netto and Dingo (yay, Tomahawkman! :p) like that... seemed a bit random... Oh well, I don't mind tho :p

Also, there was an animation error when Kurohige and Chirol drive away... Dingo's... thing in his hair is missing a curved line :p

I also noticed the Log out thing with the lion :3

Oh and, Netto and Rockman were trying to crossfuse before entering a DA in Axess, remember? They would do the flashy light show and everything before even entering it! XD

The one where Burnerman was trying to steal that rare metal to make Dark Chips, and there was a Dimensional Area that Netto kept getting stuck half in and half out of. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tBx97goMosU&search=Rockman Second part out of three, but it's got what I'm talking about in it.

Last I checked before this episode, if you slot the Synchro chip into the PET, nothing happens. Here, there was that flash of light.

It would be possible to crossfuse without a DA I guess..
They should combine the dimensional chips with the synchro chips :O

I'm still pissed off the writers didn't have the Net Saviors confiscate a Dimensional Chip and analyze it. I'm also pissed off that they STILL require Dimensional Areas to perform Cross Fusion. It seems obvious at this point to develop a new kind of Synchro Chip that allows Cross Fusion anywhere. In the first friggin episode of Axess, Meijin even mentions that Cross Fusion may be possible anywhere one day. Why can't they have a chip that automatically generates a Dimensional Area that molds itself to the shape of the operator's body, basically encasing their body in a layer of Dimensional Area, and thus allowing them to Cross Fuse anywhere? But I guess that makes too much sense.

Stream Spoilers: [spoil:9535f72b28]It was Duo's Comet that gave the power for the dimensional chips, so regardless I'd imagine they wouldn't be able to use the technology much for great effect at any rate.[/spoil:9535f72b28]

Encasing the body wouldn't help much as it'd only be viable for hand to hand. Don't forget that the Dimensional Area allows for all forms of data and is essentially for projectile and ranged Battle Chips.

It doesn't have to be 100% accurate. When is anything in the series consistent with it's own logic anyway? I mean, how do you explain a human's arm transforming into a sword or something? It looks especially weird if Netto's sword breaks during Cross Fusion and you realize his entire forearm is gone.

Besides, they could easily just say that the Dimensional Area molds and expands with the body so that it can, well, work.
